This study aims to analyze the effect of breastfeeding education packages for successful of early breastfeeding. This type of research was a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design with a non-randomize Post-test Only Control Group Design. This research conducted at a health center in Bogor of months Juni until Agustus 2018. The number of samples of each group was 27 respondents to the sampling technique used unpaired numerical, analytical research samples. The media of education used booklets compiled by researchers from a variety of sources. The instrument used a questionnaire about successfully breastfeeding based on body position, emotion, anatomy, suckling, and time. Data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. The median value of breastfeeding success in the intervention group was 26,  while in the control group, it was 22. Based on the results of the analysis found that there is an influence of breastfeeding education packages on the provision of preliminary results with a value of p 0.003 (p <0.05). Successfully of early breastfeeding in the intervention group were given breastfeeding education package is higher than the control group. Conclusion: The breastfeeding education package significantly affects the success of early breastfeeding. Lactation management education, especially about early breastfeeding and support from health workers, is expected for successfully breastfeeding mothers.

Abstract Family support is needed to help mothers breastfeed their babies, but family knowledge about lactation management is lacking. Sufficient knowledge is needed in the family so that they can help mothers in breastfeeding. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of lactation management education packages for family support for mothers in breastfeeding. Quasi-experimental research method with a post test control group design. The place of research was in the Buaran and Puskesmas Wonokerto 2 work areas with the 3rd trimester primigravida respondents. Mothers whose milk did not come out and the baby died was excluded. The sampling technique uses multistage sampling. Interventions in the form of lactation management education for mothers and families every month 3 times during pregnancy in the third trimester. Statistical test using independent t test. The results showed an average family support in the control group 61.43 (55-78) and in the intervention group 68.10 (46-76) with a p value of 0.001 in 95% CI. The conclusion is the effect of giving lactation management education to family support for mothers in giving breast milk. Advice for health workers is expected to further improve lactation management education activities in families of pregnant women. Keywords: education, family support, , lactation management.

The main objective of the present study is to investigate the effect of implementing innovative learning approaches upon English students’ achievement. The study was quasi experimental study using the post-test only control group design involving 35 students altogether selected using census sampling technique. The instrument which is used to gather data in the study was test. There were two tests used to gather intended data. They were linguistic test and student achievement test. The obtained data were analyzed statistically using descriptive and inferential analysis. The analysis of covariance was conducted to test the hypotheses.

Indicator of child growth is weight. At the age of 1-3 months is a period of rapid growth, so it is necessary to maintain a baby's weight according to age. Touch therapy or massage is one of technique that combines the physical benefits of human touch with emotional benefits such as bounding and increasing weight. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of infant massage on weight gain in infants aged 1-3 months in the work area of the Sangurara Health Center in Palu. This type of research was a Quasi-experimental design with pretest and Posttest control group design. The sample in this study was 30 months old infants as many as 30 infants with sampling technique consecutive sampling. Data analysis used test Chi-square with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05). The results show that babies who were massaged had more weight gain, which was 24.07%, while babies who were not massaged had a weight gain of 18.28%. This is evidenced by the value of p value: 0.03 (p.value≤0.05). In conclusion, there was the effect of Baby Massage on Increased Body Weight. Suggestions for researchers for health workers to socialize and suggest baby massage to reduce the case of BGM weight (Under the Red Line) in infants.

Background: The consumption of Fe tablets needs to be the attention of midwives as one of the spearheads in providing antenatal care services. Due to the low level of compliance of pregnant women to consume Fe tablets, it is necessary to provide appropriate counseling as an effort to increase compliance with Fe tablets. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the application model (Sumiferos) for preventing anemia with pregnant women compliance in consuming Fe tablets at Putri Ayu Health Center in Jambi city. Materials and methods: This study used a quasi-experimental research design with a post-test design by involving an intervention group and a control group (post-test), two group designs. With the total of 70 subjects;the intervention group, 35 respondents were given a website application (sumiferos), and a control group 35 respondents were given a leflet. After a month, the number of Fe tablets that have been consumed was monitored. Compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets required a monitoring or supervisioncarried out by health workers. Therefore, an intervention was given by using a website-based application (sumiferos) for pregnant women as a communication tool that has been created and designed previously by researchers. Results: Posttest statistical analysis showed that pregnant women who were given a website application (sumiferos) in the intervention group showed better compliance than pregnant women in the control group given lefket. Conclusion: Based on the results,a website application (sumiferos) is more effective than leaflets in improving maternal compliance to consume Fe tablets given by health workers.

ABSTRACT: SEFT THERAPY (SPIRITUAL EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE) FOR ANXIETY IN DEALING WITH LABORBackground: If the concern and anxiety of pregnant women is not handled seriously, it will have an impact and influence on physical and psychological aspects, both on the mother and the fetus. Pregnant women who experience anxiety in the face of labor are afraid of being operated on, afraid of spending a lot of money, fear of not being able to care for their babies properly, fear of their baby dying, fear of pain during delivery. One of the techniques for dealing with anxiety is SEFT therapy.Objective: to determine the effect of Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) on anxiety in dealing with labor process.Methodology: this research is a quasi-experimental design with pre and post-test with control group design. The sample in this study was 25 trimester III pregnant women. The sampling technique was using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used the DASS 42 questionnaire. The results of the data normality test were normally distributed so that the data were analyzed using the paired t-test.Results: The results showed that the average score of maternal anxiety before therapy was 13.48 (moderate) while after therapy was 7.88 (normal). The bivariate test results obtained p value 0,000.Conclusions: Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) can overcome the anxiety of pregnant women in facing labor.Suggestions: It is hoped that this therapy can be applied in the practice of midwifery to care for pregnant women, especially pregnant women who experience trauma or have anxiety in their pregnancy. Keywords: anxiety, pregnant women, spiritual emotional freedom technique. ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kekhawatiran dan kecemasan pada ibu hamil apabila tidak ditangani dengan serius akan membawa dampak dan pengaruh terhadap fisik dan psikis, baik pada ibu maupun janin. Ibu hamil yang mengalami kecemasan dalam menghadapi persalinan disebabkan karena ibu takut dioperasi, takut akan mengeluarkan biaya yang banyak, takut tidak bisa merawat bayinya dengan baik, takut bayinya meninggal, takut kesakitan saat persalinan. Salah satu teknik untuk menghadapi kecemasan adalah denga terapi SEFT.Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh Terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) terhadap kecemasan dalam menghadapi persalinan.Metodologi penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan quasi-experimental dengan rancangan pre and post test with control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 25 ibu hamil trimester III. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner DASS 42. Hasil uji normalitas data berdistribusi normal sehingga dianalisis data menggunakan uji paired t-test.Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa skor rata-rata kecemasan ibu sebelum terapi 13,48 (Sedang) sedangkan sesudah terapi menjadi 7,88 (normal). Hasil uji bivariate didapatkan p value 0,000.Kesimpulan: Terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) mampu mengatasi kecemasan ibu hamil dalam menghadapi persalinan.Saran: Diharapkan terapi ini dapat diaplikasikan dalam praktik kebidanan perawatan ibu hamil khususnya ibu hamil yang mengalami trauma atau mempunyai kecemasan dalam kehamilannya. Kata kunci: Kecemasan, ibu hamil, Terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique

The ability to think critically and creatively is needed in solving math problems. Secondary school students in Indonesia still possess these two abilities according to the results of PISA research. Therefore, learning studies that influence these two abilities are still feasible to do. This study aims to examine the effect of MEA learning with contextual worksheets on the ability to think critically and creatively in solving math problems. The study was a quasi-experimental study using a post-test only control group design. The research population consisted of 137 class X students of SMK Kharisma Mengwi, Badung Regency, Bali for the 2019/2020 school year, which was spread into five classes with equivalent math abilities. A random sampling technique determined a sample of 2 classes. Data on the ability to think critically and creatively in solving mathematical problems were collected using a test in the form of a description. Data were analyzed using the MANOVA test. The results of the analysis show that MEA learning with contextual worksheets has a positive effect on the ability to think critically and creatively in solving math problems (F = 90.018; p &lt;0.05).

Lesson material presented in the form of data or facts and specific concepts on expository learning model helps learners to connect new material with material that precedes it, so organizers help is provided to instill meaningful learning. This study aims to determine the difference of influence of the implementation of learning model of assisted advance organizer and post organizer expository. The population in this study is all students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 3 Mataram academic year 2017/2018. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique, and quasi experimental research uses non-equivalent control group design with pre-test-and post-test. The results obtained from the classroom given the treatment of expository learning model assisted by advance organizer and post organizer have the same tendency improvement. In both classes there is a relatively similar increase in the mastery of the previous concept, but the difference between the two is not much different. Therefore, there is no difference of influence between expository model of assisted advance organizer and post organizer to the mastery of work and energy concepts of learners.

The research aimed to find out the effectiveness of describing and drawing picture technique in teaching transactional speaking at the second semester students of English Education Department at State Islamic University of Alauddin Makassar. This research employed quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design with pre-test and post-test. The population of this research was the second semester students of English education department at State Islamic University of Alauddin Makassar. The population was selected by using purposive sampling technique to determine the sample for experimental class and control class. The instrument used in this research was test. The test was used in the pre-test and post-test. The data indicated that there was a significant difference between the students’ post-test in the experimental class and post-test in the control class. Based on the findings of the research, the researchers concluded that describing and drawing picture technique was effective in teaching transactional speaking. One of the causes of high maternal mortality is delivery assistance provided by other than health workers or traditional healers. The way to reduce the bondage relationship is to increase the motivation of cadres to refer mothers to health workers. The DABA method is a modification or development of the SALT method (support, appreciate, learn, and transfer), is a method or technique for forming something, showing that a community has the ability to respond to every challenge including childbirth assistance. The maternal mortality rate is still high, the Inter-Census Population Survey data released by the Central Statistics Agency shows that there were 359 maternal deaths per 100,000 births in 2013. The purpose of this study was to analyze the motivation of cadres by empowering the DABA method for referral for delivery assistance by health workers in Jember Regency. Motivation is the reason that underlies an action done by an individual. The method used was quasi-experimental using 2 groups. This study used the non equivalent control group, pre test post test design. The population in this study were 2220 posyandu cadres in the working area of the health centers in the Jember District. The subjects of this study were 100 posyandu cadres in Jember district in 2019 who met the criteria. The sampling technique was carried out by simple random sampling by selecting from a list of names of cadres in each health center. There was differences (p-value = 0.021) of cadre motivation between treatment and control group. The cadre motivation of intervention group was higher than the control group for referral labor. Having high motivation means having very strong reasons to achieve what he wants by doing his current job. The cadre motivation of treatment group increased significantly, this happened because cadres trained through the DABA method were invited to achieve the dreams they had built, namely to reduce maternal and infant mortality. Training using the DABA method is able to increase the motivation of cadres to make a referral to mothers to give birth at a health service place, so training with the DABA method is highly recommended to increase motivation for certain groups to achieve certain goals. Introduction: Increasing age in pre-senile, causes a deterioration abilities and physical changes, including the cardiovascular system. Blood vessels lose their elasticity thus be increased peripheral vascular resistance that results in hypertension. This study aims to gain an idea of the effect on the ability of pre-senile people’s psychoeducation in the management of hypertension. Method: Quasi-experimental, the pre-post test with control group design, psychoeducation intervention with a sample size of 72 people . Result: The results showed signifi cant difference of pre-aged knowledge and behavior before and after getting psychoeducation intervention in the intervention group (p-value = 0.000 knowledge, and behaviors = 0.000) . Whereas in the control group there was no difference in knowledge (p-value = 0.896), but there are signifi cant differences in behavior of pre-senile people (p-value = 0.049). There are differences in knowledge and behavior after they were given psychoeducation intervention (post-test ) in the intervention group and the control group (p-value = 0.001 knowledge , behavior=0.018). Discussion: Psychoeducation had effect on the ability of pre-senile in the management of hypertension, so this program can be applied to groups of Posbindu for pre-senile people throughout the areas of the city of Bogor.Key words: psychoeducation, skills, pre-senile, hypertension
