The aim of this study was to investigate gaps between knowledge on HIV/AIDS and sexual behavior among teenagers. The study used a cross-sectional design with a representative random sample of 1,158 teenagers (14 to 19 years of age) enrolled in nine public secondary schools and who answered validated questionnaires. Data analysis included descriptive statistics and tests of hypotheses (chi-square, Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis, Kendall, and Fisher's exact test). The vast majority of the teenagers (98.7%) expressed doubt on at least one question. Condom use during first sexual intercourse was significantly associated with condom use in sexual relations in the previous six months. There was no statistical association between knowledge on HIV/AIDS and frequency of condom use or number of sexual partners. Health actions are needed that link schools to health services, in addition to not only elaborating appropriate information but also valorizing teenagers' individuality in the development of proposals

Female sex workers (FSWs) are at high risk for HIV. Cross-sectional surveys using a venue–day–time approach for recruitment were conducted among FSWs in Rwanda in 2006, 2010 and 2015. Chi square test for trends was computed to determine behavior changes. Logistic regression models were computed to determine risk factors associated with consistent condom use for the 2015 survey. There were 1041, 1338, and 1978 FSWs surveyed in 2006, 2010, and 2015, respectively. Condom use at the last sexual encounter with a client was similar in all surveys: 84.2%, 64.1%, and 83.3% (p = 1.0), respectively. Comprehensive HIV knowledge among FSWs was higher in 2015 than in 2006: 18.4%, 53.1%, and 71.1% (p = 0.00), respectively. Living in Kigali City and the Western province (aOR = 1.9 [95% CI: 1.3–2.8] and aOR = 2.0 [95% CI: 1.4–2.9], respectively) and higher level of education (OR = 2.0 [95% CI: 1.4–2.9]) were positively associated with consistent condom use with a client. Street-based FSWs (aOR = 0.7 [95% CI: 0.6–0.9]); FSWs with sex work as sole occupation (aOR = 0.6 [95% CI: 0.5–0.7]); FSWs who experienced sexually transmitted infections in the last year (aOR = 0.7 [95% CI: 0.5–0.8]) and HIV-positive FSWs (aOR = 0.8 [95% CI: 0.6–0.9]) were less likely to report consistent condom use. HIV prevention methods have evolved among FSWs in RWanda over the last decade, but HIV prevalence remains high. Condom use among many FSWs is inconsistent. New approaches for behavior change and income-generating activities are needed to reduce the vulnerability of FSWs in Rwanda.

Adolescents At This Time Experienced A Very Rapid Social Change From Traditional Society Towards Modern Society, Which In Turn Changed The Values, Norms, Including The Lifestyle Of Adolescents. The occurrence of sexual behavior in adolescents has increased which is influenced by factors from adolescent individuals and factors outside of adolescents themselves. This Study Aims To Analyze The Factors of Sexual Behavior In Adolescents. This study used a cross-sectional approach with a sample of 73 grade VIII students in Bogor Tarcess Integrated Junior High School taken by stratified random sampling, which was analyzed using the chi-square test. The results of this study were measured using a questionnaire that described sexual behavior in adolescents had occurred a lot due to factors within and outside elements of adolescent individuals, where access to information, distance, costs, parental relationships, peer influence has a p-value <α (0.05) which means that there is a relationship with risky sexual behavior in adolescents. Still, the attitude factor shows different results ie, 0.853> α (0.05 ), which means not related. Parents and Schools need to work together in providing reproductive health education to adolescents to avoid sexual behavior.

Adolescent sexual behavior is all forms of behavior that are driven by sexual desire, a form of sexual behavior that is risky and is at low risk. The purpose of this study was to determine the sexual behavior of high school adolescents in Indragiri Hilir Regency in 2018, including risk factors, enabling and reinforcing. Cross sectional study design. Sample 233 people. The sampling procedure by systematic random sampling, data collection using questionnaires and data analysis was carried out univariately, bivariately by chi-square test and multivariate with multiple logistic regression tests. The results showed that the proportion of adolescents who carry out sexual behavior is at risk of 11.2%. Variables related to sexual behavior in adolescents are attitudes with p value 0.021 (POR: 3.441) and peers with p value 0.007 (POR: 3.906) and role family is a counfounding variable on attitudes and peers. It can be concluded that the bad influence of peers 4 times adolescents have a risky sexual behavior compared to the good influence of peers. It is expected that there should be school cooperation with the Education Agency in terms of providing counseling and including reproductive health education into the school curriculum, for parents and adolescents to be selective in choosing friends so that adolescents are not easily affected by the risk, especially in sexual matters.

ENGLISHAwareness level of condom use consistently among high-risk groups is still low. HIV/AIDS incidents can be triggered by inconsistency of condom use. The purpose of this research was to determine the factors associated with the consistency of condom usage in female sex workers. The research used a quantitative descriptive approach with a cross sectional design. The research period was from June to September 2018 with the location of research in the prostitution areas in Margorejo Subdistrict, Pati. Sample selection used incidental sampling with 70 respondents. Data analysis used Chi square (X2) with Confidence Interval (CI) value of 95% (α = 0.05) by using 2x2 table. The results of the research:  factors that are related to the consistency of condom use in female sex workers are income level and marital status. Low income sex workers will try to find clients as many as possible without using a condom. Meanwhile , the married clients or those who have wife tended to use condom when having sex with female sex workers due to protecting their spouses.
