Based on the correlation and regression analysis, the article assesses the influence of external and internal factors of the business environment on the profitability of modern enterprises. The directions of improving the strategy for managing the profitability of domestic enterprises in the conditions of the dynamism of the business environment are determined, the implementation of which will give their leaders the opportunity to focus on the priorities of long-term development. Taking into account the impact of the variability of the business environment will allow enterprises to form an adaptation buffer in the face of the transformational challenges of our time. The expediency of carrying out a systematic assessment of the factors of the business environment for the activities of enterprises has been substantiated, the results of which will make it possible to adjust the priorities for the future development of entrepreneurial structures. The carried out correlation and regression analysis of the influence of the business environment made it possible to determine the progressive directions of the strategy for managing the profitability of enterprises. With the help of a quantitative assessment, a significant relationship was determined between the cost of goods sold and net profit, as well as the dependence of net profit on macroeconomic indicators of the country's development, in particular: the real wage index and the growth rate of nominal GDP. In today's dynamic business environment, one of the most important factors in the competitiveness of any enterprise is the development and implementation of a profit management strategy. Therefore, the authors have proposed strategic actions to manage profitability at the conditionally taken enterprise "XXX", namely: creation of an information base: analysis of the volume and composition of the income received; indicators that determine their size and leve; development of a forecast of possible options for the distribution of income by type of activity and their assessment; formation of the optimal variant of the distribution of enterprise income.

Introduction. Effective stimulation of the activities of national enterprises in the direction of environmental protection, reduction of the negative impact of production on the environment, increase of innovation and investment attractiveness, environmental image and improvement of the ecological situation in Ukraine becomes possible on condition of the development and practical testing of the methodology for assessing the overall level of environmental safety of the enterprise. Purpose. The article aims to develop an integrated index of the overall level of environmental safety of the enterprise, to justify the possibility of using correlation and regression analysis to confirm the interrelationship between its components. Methodology. The fundamental aspects of the general economic theory, the economics of nature usage and environmental protection, statistics and econometrics have become the methodological basis of the article. The article uses correlation and regression analysis, comparative analysis, method of relative values, methods of economic and mathematic modelling etc. Results. In the article the formula for calculation the integral index of the general level of ecological safety of the enterprise is developed. It is based on three partial integral coefficients: the integral coefficient of environmental damage; integral coefficient of influence of economic factors; the integral factor of the impact of environmental and economic factors. The use of correlation and regression analysis has confirmed the adequacy of the developed economic and mathematic model, the reality of interconnections and interdependencies between its indicators.

Increasingly, the policy of the Russian Federation is aimed at the development of healthcare, and spending on the healthcare industry is becoming a serious problem for the financial stability of national health systems, even in highincome countries. Voluntary medical insurance, as one of the forms of medical insurance, contributes to the formation of all insurance premiums, thereby this form can be one of the indirect factors of socioeconomic development of Russia. The paper hypothesizes the existence of a relationship between the level of development of the welfare of the country and the volume of the premium fund of voluntary health insurance. A study was conducted on the relationship between voluntary health insurance and GDP, as one of the key indicators of the country's development, through correlation and regression analysis.

The shared economy occupies through shared accommodation a full-featured position in many economies of the world and the extent of its impact can be expressed in various ways. In addition, the price of accommodation appears to be a sufficiently objective, measurable, and comparable element to other statistical instruments of the economic environment. In the article, we use statistical methods of correlation and regression analysis to express the relationships between the dependent variable in the form of the price of shared accommodation in European Union countries and other economic indicators of the macroenvironment and the tourism industry, which thus represent an independent variable. The results signal that shared accommodation prices shows a higher degree of correlation with other indicators of the tourism sector than with other macroeconomic indicators in individual countries. Key words: Shared Economy. Shared Accommodation Prices, Airbnb, Regression and Correlation

This study investigates voluntary demand for auditing by family businesses, a significant but relatively unexplored segment of the economy. The paper considers demand for both internal and external auditing by using survey data to investigate the impact of firm characteristics linked to the cost vs. benefit of engaging an auditor. Variables examined are firm size, debt, and two agency proxies that measure separation of ownership and control, namely, the proportion of nonfamily management in the firm, and the proportion of nonfamily representation on the board of directors. The paper also considers the association between internal and external auditing. Descriptive results on voluntary demand for auditing by 186 family businesses revealed that internal audit was more prevalent than external audit, and outsourcing was a common method for providing internal audit. Results from logistic regression analyses provide support for the hypothesized impact of the two agency proxies and firm debt on demand for external audit, but do not explain the demand for internal audit. For firms that voluntarily engaged an auditor (internal and/or external audit), the negative and significant correlation between internal and external audit suggest that in the family business environment they are more commonly viewed as substitute rather than complementary responses.

The purpose of the paper is to determine the relationship between different types of tourism safety and security, and components of the tourism entrepreneurship potential, to conduct a quantitative analysis of these indicators in the regions of Ukraine and to identify areas for ensuring the safety and security of the tourism entrepreneurship potential realization. Methodology. Analysis of tourism safety and security in Ukraine is based on the assessment of security potential indicator and the security threats indicator for 25 regions. These indicators take into account the following types of safety and security: security of tourist services, safety of tourist facilities and equipment, social security, political security, financial security, medical safety, information security, and ecological security. The impact of tourism safety and security on the tourism entrepreneurship potential realization is determined on the basis of correlation and regression analysis, where the indicator of the tourism entrepreneurship potential realization is the volume of domestic and inbound tourist flows in the region. The empirical basis of the study is the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine for 2019. The reliability of the regression model was tested on the basis of the approximation coefficient and Fisher's F-test. Results of the correlation analysis indicate a significant relationship between ensuring the safety and security of tourism in the region and the volume of domestic and inbound tourist flows. As a result of regression analysis, a model of a high level of reliability was obtained, which indicates how the volume of domestic and inbound tourist flows to the region increases with increasing the level of tourist safety and security by unit. Practical implications. Since the process of safety and security ensuring for the tourism entrepreneurship potential realization cannot be implemented exclusively at the regional level, it is justified the feasibility of a targeted public policy in eight areas. Value/originality. The identified relationship between the types of safety and security of tourism and components of the tourism entrepreneurship potential, as well as establishing the level of impact of safety and security of tourism on the tourism entrepreneurship potential realization in the region provide for a better understanding of ways for efficient governance in this area.
