This paper investigates the impact of the Learning Resource Centre activities of Westminster International University Tashkent (WIUT) graduated students on the labour market outcome. WIUT library provides a learning environment that helps students to create practical teams and individual projects to support the agenda of employability. The study aims to clarify the relationship between library activities and labour market outcomes. This proposes the improvement of a commercial responsiveness workshop, in collaboration with other services, and alumni voices in an employability guide. A quantitative research approach was employed; an online survey questionnaire was distributed to alumni students to obtain the data. It was a semi-structured questionnaire designed using a Likert Scale to collect data from 607 graduates. The study revealed that LRC activities have a significant impact on labour market outcomes for students. LRC activities such as presentation skills, information technology skills, problem-solving skills, research skills were mostly expected in the labour market. Research limitations– The study was focused only on graduates of WIUT, which may limit the generalizability. Therefore, the researcher proposed to study and compare other graduates of universities in Uzbekistan. The insights are valuable for planning the curriculum of LRC activities and developing teaching practices at WIUT. Moreover, current and graduate students can learn market-oriented skills and labour market demands. This is the first-ever study in Uzbekistan that explores the relationship of university library activities on employability skills of alumni.

The main purpose of this study is to formulate a mathematical regression model showing the significant effect of the independent variables to the dependent variable. The researchers obtained the quarterly data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) limited only from 2001 to 2016 with a total of 448 observations. The data include the following factors: Employment Rate (X1), Underemployment Rate (X2), Gross National Income (X3), Household Population 15 yrs+ (X4) and Gross Domestic Product (X5) as independent variables that can affect the Labor Force Participation Rate in the Philippines. The researchers use the IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences as a statistical tool for recording and analyzing the quarterly data. The researchers employed two main statistical treatments which are subjected at 1% level of significance: Pearson R Correlation, to determine which of the independent variables have significant relationship with the dependent variable; and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, to formulate the fitted mathematical model for the dependent variable. According to the results gathered, three out of five independent variables become the predictors of Labor Force Participation Rate which are included in the fitted model. Moreover, the researchers also utilize the Paired-T test to find if the predicted values and the actual values of the dependent variable have significant difference with each other

Construction companies are increasingly concerned with new strategic guidelines and ways of managing project budgets to improve their competitiveness and sustainability. Thus, with this work, the authors analyse the relationship of the uncertainty of the organizational environment with other constructs, as causes of unfavorable budgetary deviations in the projects of Portuguese construction companies. For its development, quantitative research methods and techniques were adopted. The results presented in the study show a high correlation between the five first-order constructs (internal environment, external environment, time/delay, project process/monitoring, and project financing) justified by the literature review and justify the perception regarding the uncertainty in the organizational environment and other constructs as factors that determine the causes of unfavorable budgetary deviations in construction companies' projects. It should be noted that the objectives outlined for this study were achieved by providing complementary knowledge in this area of research.

Abstract Administrators and supervisors face daily challenges over issues such as program funding, service fees, correct coding procedures, and the ever-changing healthcare regulations. Receiving equitable reimbursement for speech-language pathology and audiology services necessitates an understanding of federal coding and reimbursement systems. This tutorial provides information pertaining to two major healthcare coding systems and explains the relationship of these systems to clinical documentation, the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule and equitable reimbursement. An explanation of coding edits and coding modifiers is provided for use in those occasional atypical situations when the standard use of procedural coding may not be appropriate. Also included in this tutorial is a brief discussion of the impact that the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 (HR 6331 Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act [MIPPA], 2008) has had on the valuation of speech-language pathology procedure codes.
