Background: Elderly face various health problems that need immediate and integrated handling. With increasing age, there will be a decrease in body function in the elderly both physically, physiologically and psychologically. The mental health problem that often occurs in the elderly is feeling worried. Objektif:: This study aims to analyze whether there is a relationship between anxiety levels and sleep quality among the elderly in Surabaya. Methods: The design of this study was analytic correlation with the approach used  cross-sectional. The population Is all elderly in the qoryah thoyyibah kenjeran Surabaya posyandu, which amounted to 44   elderly. The sampel size of this study was 40 respondents, probability sampling technique was simple random sampling, this study contained an independent variable of anxiety level while the dependent variable was sleep quality. data collection instrument using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the spearman rank correlation test with a value of a = 0,05. Results: The results of research from 40 respondents showed that half (50%) experienced severe anxiety and almost half (47,5) had moderate sleep quality. Further analysis using the spearman rank test with a significance level of a= 0,05, the value of p=0.02 is obtained, which means p<a the Ho is rejected, which means that there is a relationship between the level of anxiety and the quality of sleep in the elderly at qoryah thoyyibah kenjeran Surabaya Conclusions: The conclusion of this study is that there is relationship between anxiety and sleep quality in the elderly at qoryah thoyyibah kenjeran Surabaya posyandu. It is hoped that the result of this study can develop the ability of further researchers to conduct more specific research related to the relationship between anxiety levels and sleep quality in the elderly.

Sick children have a different response in which the child has unusual anxiety by interacting with other people, it causes the child must undergo hospitalization. In Indonesia an estimated 35% of children undergoing hospitalization and 45% had anxiety. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hospitalization on the level of anxiety of preschool children in child inpatient hospital TK II Putri Hijau Kesdam I/BB city of Medan. This type of research is analytic survey with cross sectional design. The population in this study across Preschool children who were treated at the TK II Putri Hijau Kesdam I/BB Medan with the average monthly total of 35 patients. Samples used as many as 20 people using total sampling technique. The data were obtained using a questionnaire and analyzed by using Spearman Rank Test (Rho). The test results Spearman Rank (Rho) with the results obtained α = 0.05 p value = 0.001 (p value <α 0.05) and the correlation coefficient (ρ) with a value of -0.502 which can be concluded that there are significant and not the direction being between hospitalization support the preschool child's anxiety level. Thus, the better the hospitalization, the lower the anxiety levels of preschool children. It is expected that health professionals in order to work professionalism to achieve optimum service and maximum.Keywords: Hospitalization, Anxiety Levels, Preschool Children

Perubahan tidur akibat proses penuaan pada lansia dapat mempengaruhi kualitas tidur. Sehingga lanjut usia perlu mendapatkan praktik sleep hygiene yang baik dan tepat agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas tidur pada lansia. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara sleep hygiene dengan kualitas tidur pada lansia di Panti Wredha Harapan Ibu Ngaliyan Semarang. Metode            : Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif korelatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 35 lansia.Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisa data menggunakan uji rank spearman dengan nilai signifikasi 5%. Hasil : Hasil uji rank spearman di dapatkan bahwa ada hubungan antara sleep hygiene dengan kualitas tidur pada lansia di Panti Wredha Harapan Ibu Ngaliyan Semarang dengan nilai p value = 0,000 yang berarti ≤0,05 (5%), maka H0ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan : Ada hubungan antara sleep hygiene dengan kualitas tidur pada lansia di Panti Wredha Harapan Ibu Ngaliyan Semarang dengan arah korelasi positif dan tingkat keeratan tinggi. Sleep changes due to the aging process in the elderly can affect sleep quality. So that the elderly need to get a good sleep hygiene practices and appropriate in order to improve the quality of sleep of elderly. Method : Research method using correlative descriptive method with cross sectional studied design. The samples were 35 elderly persons. Simple random sampling used as total sampling. This study employed the questionnaires as data collecting methods. The spearman rank test used as statistical data analysis with significant value 5% . Result : The result of spearman rank statistic test show that there is relation between sleep hygiene and sleep quality at the elderly with p value = 0,000 which mean ≤ 0,05 (5%) then H0 is rejected and Ha is received. Conclusion: There is a relationship between sleep hygiene and sleep quality at the elderly in the nursing home Harapan Ibu Ngaliyan Semarang with the direction of positive and level of high closeness. ABSTRACTObjective : High level of obedience in using insulin independently in patients with diabetes mellitus is influenced by a person's level of self-efficacy. Methods : This study aims to know the correlation between self-efficacy and obedience of independent insulin use in DM patients at Batu Baptis Hospital. The type of research used is quantitative research using descriptive correlative research design with a cross sectional approach. Sampling used is convenience sampling technique with 125 respondents. Data collection used the DMSES questionnaire (The Diabetes Management Self-efficacy Scale) for the MMAS-8 variable self-efficacy and questionnaire (Morisky Medication Adherence Scale) for compliance variables. The data analysis methods applied the Spearman Rank correlation test. Results : The results of the Spearman Rank test is obtained that p value is 0,000 (p <0.05) and the correlation coefficient value is 0.824. It shows that the strength of the correlation is strong with the direction of the positive correlation. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and obedience of independent use of insulin in DM patients in Batu Baptist Hospital. Conclusion : The higher the self-efficacy in patients is, the higher the patient's compliance with insulin injections. The suggestion of this study it is expected that DM patients who use insulin can be more adherent to undergo treatment with insulin.

Background: Speech delay is a problem that occurs in society commonly found in children. One of the factors affecting language development is the early sensory perception stimulation.Objectives: This study was purposed to analyze the correlation between early sensory perception stimulation and language development in children aged 12-24 months.Methods: This observational study was conducted using a cross-sectional approach. It involved 34 parents and their children aged 12-24 months as the population, in which 32 parents and their children were taken as the samples using simple random sampling technique. The independent variable was the early sensory perception stimulation, whereas the dependent variable was language development. The instruments used in this study were questionnaire and observation sheets. Furthermore, the collected data were analyzed using Spearman's rank correlation test with the significance level of α = 0.05.Results: The results of this study showed that nearly all of the respondents (89.5%) provided their children with the early sensory perception stimulation sufficiently. Consequently, most of the children (62.5%) experienced language development sufficiently. Moreover, the correlation test using Spearman's rank test showed that Sig. = 0.000 (p < 0.05) illustrating that p <α so that Ho was rejected. This result showed that there was a correlation between early sensory perception stimulation and language development in children aged 12-24 months.Conclusion: The early sensory perception stimulation which is given well to children will result in optimal language development. Hence, the health workers, especially the nurses, are expected to provide the family with a counseling program about the importance of giving the early sensory perception stimulation to children to optimize their language development. Key words: Early sensory perception stimulation, language development.

Health problems often occur in the elderly, which affect social interactions. This condition can be one of the triggers for depression in the elderly in the nursing home. The incidence of depression experienced by the elderly who live in the study location is 50-75% due to loneliness, hopelessness, loss of a spouse, and loss of social roles. This type of research is a quantitative non-experimental, correlational research design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 75 respondents at the Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Sejahtera, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, were taken by purposive sampling technique, and in this study, a questionnaire was used as a research instrument. The statistical test used the Spearman Rank Correlation at a significant level of 0.05 and the results showed that 32 respondents had sufficient social interaction and 32 respondents had a moderate depression level. The results of statistical tests using the Spearman Rank correlation obtained the Correlation Coefficient value of 0.580 and a p-value of 0.000.

<p><strong><em>Abstract : Knowledge of young women with attitude of the use of jeans to leucorrhoea. </em></strong><em> The purpose of this study is to know the relationship knowledge of young women with attitude of the use of jeans to leucorrhoea at SMA Negeri 1 Manggis.This research is a kind of analytic research with correlation research study and using cross sectional approach. Population of 193 people. Sampling technique that is simple random sampling with total 64 respondents. This study uses Spearman Rank Correlation.<strong></strong></em></p><p><em>Based on research results, total respondent 64 people (100%), obtained almost all respondents have good knowledge that is as much as 43 respondents (67,2%), and almost all 36 respondents (56,2%) have a positive attitude about the use of hjeans to leucorrhoea. Result of speraman rank test analysis obtained result that p-value = 0,001 which means alpha 5%, shows that there is a strong relationship between the knowledge of young women with the attitude of the use of jeans</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><strong>Abstrak : Hubungan Pengetahuan Remaja Putri dengan Sikap Penggunaan Celana <em>Jeans</em> terhadap Keputihan.</strong> Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan Pengetahuan Remaja Putri dengan Sikap Penggunaan Celana <em>Jeans</em><em> </em>Terhadap Keputihan di SMA Negeri 1 Manggis. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian <em>analitik</em><em> </em>dengan studi penelitian korelasi dan menggunakan pendekatan <em>cross sectional</em>. Jumlah populasi 193 orang. Teknik sampling yaitu <em>simple random sampling</em><em> </em>dengan jumlah 64 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisa data korelasi <em>Spearman Rank</em>. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dimana total responden 64  orang (100%) diperolehhampir seluruhnya resoponden memiliki pengetahuan baik yaitu sebanyak 43 responden (67,2%), dan hampir seluruhnya 36 responden (56,2%) memiliki sikap positif tentang penggunaan celana <em>jeans</em> terhadap keputihan. Hasil analisis uji <em>rank spearman</em> diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai <em>p-value</em> = 0,001 yang berarti  pada alpha 5%, Nilai <em>r </em>= 0,792 menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang kuat antara pengetahuan remaja putri dengan sikap penggunaan celana jeans.<em></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>

Attitude is a person's closed response to a particular stimulus or object, which has involved the factors of opinion and emotions. While behavior is an activity or activity carried out by humans that can be observed directly or indirectly. Inspection of visual with acetic acid (IVA) is an examination carried out by a doctor / midwife / paramedic by observing the cervix which has been given 3-5% acetic acid, and seen with the naked eye vision. Cervical cancer is an 8th contributor to mortality in developing countries, and IVA examination is a very effective early detection to prevent cervical cancer. This study was used an analytical survey with a cross sectional design. The data was analyzed by Spearman Rank test. The population in this study was all WUS in Kemiri Village totaling 296 respondents. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. 60 respondents were taken who already fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results obtained from the spearman rank correlation test with a p value of 0.034 <0.05, a correlation coefficient of 0.275 and a positive correlation (+) direction. The conclusion of this study was that there was a significant relationship between attitudes of woman of childbearing age and the behavior of IVA examination in Kemiri Village, the closeness of the relationship between the two variables is weak, and the direction of the two positive variables.

Patients with Diabetes Mellitus is necessary therapeutic regimen for prevention or treatment, care to help patients to prevent complications. One is by providing information to physical activity to increase knowledge about the effects of Diabetes Mellitus patients and physical exercise. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge with diabetic patient compliance in physical exercise. The research method is a correlation with cross sectional approach, the research sample are 39 people with purposive sampling technique. The tools used assess knowledge and compliance of respondents using a questionnaire. Data collection is done coding, scoring, and tabulation and correlation test by Spearman Rank Test. The results showed that the results of the statistical test of Spearman rank correlation significance value (<0.05), it shows there is a relationship then H1 accepted which means that there is a relationship between knowledge and compliance of patients with Diabetes Mellitus in physical exercise. Results of this study can assist clients in improving the quality of life program Diabetes Mellitus patients through regular physical exercise. Suggested to the nurse to use the results of this study as a reference for improving services in diabetic patients leading to the needs of the patient in physical exercise. Penderita Diabetes Mellitus membutuhkan tindakan terapeutik untuk pencegahan atau penatalaksanaan, dan tindakan lain untuk mencegah komplikasi. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan denga menambah informasi tentang aktifitas fisik untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pasien Diabetes Mellitus. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan penderita Diabetes Mellitus dalam melakukan latihan fisik. Metode penelitian menggunakan korelasi dengan pendekatan potong lintang. Sampel terdiri dari 39 responden dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengukuran pengetahuan dan kepatuhan penderita Diabetes mellitus dalam melakukan latihan fisik menggunakan kuesioner. Data diolah menggunakan Spearman rank test. Hasil menunjukkan signifikan (<0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dan kepatuhan penderita Diabetes Mellitus dalam melakukan latihan fisik. Hasil ini dapat menunjang penderita Diabetes Mellitus untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan dapat digunakan sebagai sumber pustaka bagi perawat dalam meningkatkan pelayanan bagi penderita Diabetes Mellitus dalam melakukan latihan fisik. Spirituality was the unifying aspect and the aspect of integration in a person's life to nature and the Creator. A holistic approach to the spiritual function can affect human welfare. Anxiety is a feeling of fear and consciousness accompanied by physical sensations such as palpitations, shortness of breath or chest pain, this will be experienced by the patient with the family. Intensive patient's family are those who have a relationship with the patient is the father, mother, or sister who still have blood relations with patients. Goal: The purpose of this study identifies the relationship of spirituality to family anxiety levels of patients in the Intensive Space Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan in 2015. Methods: This research uses design korelation with the type of cross-sectional research, 19 research samples using purposive sampling, data collection and analysis of data in the form of a questionnaire conducted by the Spearman rank test. Result: The survey results revealed the majority (68.4%) patients had a level of spirituality family well and most (57.9%) families of patients have mild anxiety levels. Analysis of the data showed 0.943 alpha r very reliable because the value is greater than 0.60. Based on the test Spearman rank correlation coefficient = - 0.692 obtained and p value = 0.001(p <0.05) this value indicates a strong relationship and a negative pattern means there is a significant relationship with the level of anxiety spirituality where the better the spirituality of the family, the lower anxiety experienced. Conclusion: Expected nurses can provide spiritual care to patients and families of patients in the Intensive Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan.

Background: One of problems in an organization or company is poor performance of employees. For instance, they do not complete tasks or finish their job responsibilities on time. The preliminary data taken from one of companies in Surabaya showed that 184 employees did not come to work without any explanations, and 288 employees worked late.Aim: This study analyzed the relationships between discipline and emotional intelligence towards employee performance at the company.Method: The design of this research was analytical using a cross sectional approach. The population of this study was employees at Production and Maintenance Section of one company in Surabaya comprising of 155 people. Out of 155 employees, 89 respondents were taken as samples using a stratified random sampling technique. Then, the data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using Spearman’s rank correlation test with a significance level of α 0.05.Results: This study showed that most of the respondents were very highly disciplined (94.4%) and had a highly emotional intelligence (74.2%). Lastly, most of them perform satisfyingly (50.6%). The results of the analysis test with Spearman’s rank correlation yielded p-value of 0.002 <α 0.05. It means there was a correlation between  discipline attitude and employee performance. The p-value 0.001 which was less than α-value of 0.05 showed that there was a correlation between emotional intelligence and employee performance.Conclusion: Discipline and emotional intelligence are prominent to determine employee performance at PT X. In order to improve the discipline and intelligence in the performance of the employees, the company should provide rewards based on employee’s achievements in the workplace. Key words: Emotional intelligence, Employee performance, Discipline.
