Background: Elderly is one of the vulnerable groups against COVID 19 infection. The mortality rate from COVID 19 is the highest in the elderly. The chronic disease is worsening the outcome. Objective: This study aimed to find the determinant of the implementation of health protocols among the elderly with chronic disease. Methods: This study was a correlational study conducted with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 437 elderly were selected through consecutive sampling techniques. The respondents were asked to fill the KAP questionnaire through a google form. The data were analysed using binary logistic regression and multivariate logistic regression techniques using SPSS. Result: The results showed that educational level (p-value 0,088); living arrangement (p-value 0,035); knowledge (p-value 0,026); occupation (p-value 0, 042) and the implementation of self-care management (p-value 0,047) were correlated with the implementation of health protocols among the elderly with chronic disease. Knowledge became the main determinant of the health protocol implementation among the elderly with OR 8,456 95%CI (3,495 – 20,455). Conclusion: It can be concluded that the elderly with adequate knowledge has the potential to be 8,4 times more likely to implement the health protocols properly. Health education about the appropriate implementation of health protocol needs to be carried out using a plain language that is easily accepted by the elderly

Results; Sample size on study were 46 respondents. Based on the results of correlation statistical analysis Spearman Rank indicates the p-value was 0.001, which is lower than 0.05. This test showed a significant relationship between the consumption of alcohol with the occurrence of hypertension in Gleno IHC. Never the less, the result of the correlation test (r) was 0.473. Which means having the most high impact of alcohol consumption with an opportunity of 0.473 times.  Which result in the most severe hypertension disease in Gleno IHC. Conclusion; This research indicated that the relationship is positive and significant between the alcohol consumption and the prevalence of hypertension in Gleno Inpatient Health Centre, municipality of Ermera. Background: Successful stroke management depends on the speed, accuracy, and timeliness of the initial treatment. Stroke patients with immediate medical help can minimize permanent disability and even mortality. Objective: This study analyzes the correlation between family knowledge on prehospital stroke detection with hospital arrival time. Method: The research design was correlational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. This paper was conducted at the Naval Hospital Dr.Ramelan, Surabaya, from January to February 2019, with ethical clearance from the hospital. The independent variable was family knowledge on prehospital stroke detection, and the dependent variable was hospital arrival time. There were 115 population and 111 samples by consecutive sampling technique. The instrument to measure family knowledge was a questionnaire about prehospital stroke detection consisted of 30 items, while to evaluate hospital arrival time was data from the medical record. The data analysis used the Mann-Whitney statistical test with a significance of 0.05. Result: Most respondents had adequate knowledge regarding prehospital stroke detection (54.1%) and early hospital arrival time (59.5%).  There was a correlation between family knowledge on prehospital stroke detection and hospital arrival time in stroke patients (p=0.000). Conclusion: The better family knowledge on prehospital stroke detection, the faster hospital time arrival. Health workers should give health education on prehospital stroke detection to prevent delayed hospital arrival.
