Several efforts have been drafted by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) as the secretariat of MJFK and Mufti Department of the States to improve the coordination about fatwa as well as to improve the management system, increase the numbers of meetings, upgrade the officers knowledge and skills and broaden understanding of fatwa among the members and society. Aim. This research paper discusses the educational process of immigrant children in Lithuania with the intention to determine the integration trajectory most likely to be chosen by the immigrant students. Methods. The research methods include legal analysis of Lithuanian legislations related to immigration, immigrant integration and education, meta-analysis of previous research on immigrant integration into Lithuanian society as well as semi-structured interviews with experts of the field. Results. Having completed the research, the following conclusion has been drawn: immigrant children education in Lithuania does not tend to create conditions for successful integration and more often than not influences immigrant students to choose those integration paths that may inspire inner or outer conflict. This is due to the lack of integration policy and strategy at the state level as well as the tendency to create a cultural hierarchy wherein the Lithuanian culture is implicitly considered as above others. Practical application. The results of the research can be used to improve the conditions of immigrant children education in Lithuanian schools on the national level as well as by schools willing to foster the integration of immigrant students; the results can also be considered in the process of establishing integration policy on the state level.

Abstract Background: Blindness from corneal opacity accounts for 12% of cases of blindness worldwide. There is a severe shortage of corneas for donation worldwide for transplantation and research purposes. One group of individuals who could potentially be donors are those who die within the inpatient palliative care unit. The aims of the study were to 1. determine the frequency of corneal donation discussion; 2. determine whether inpatient palliative care unit patients and clinicians were aware of the potential for corneal donation discussions and 3. explore the attitudes and beliefs of inpatient palliative care unit patients and clinicians about corneal donation. Methods: An exploratory qualitative study was designed where inpatient palliative care unit patients and clinicians were invited to a semi-structured interview. A total of 46 face to face interviews were undertaken involving inpatient palliative care unit patients (20) and clinicians (26) in three major inpatient palliative care units in South Australia. Results: Very few patient participants were asked about corneal donations during their time in palliative care. Most inpatient palliative care unit clinicians did not bring up the topic as they felt other areas of care took precedence. Inpatient palliative care unit patients thought if inpatient palliative care unit clinicians did not raise the topic, then it was not important. Conclusions: Findings suggest that patients are receptive to discussing corneal donations, but few discussions are occurring. There were some differences between patient and clinician views, such as preference about who raises the possibility of donation and when the discussion might occur.

The problem of modeling the content of the chemical training of medical doctors is not new, but it is still urgent. Currently, having the properties of scale, fundamentality, interdisciplinarity, focus on the practice of learning, it is becoming one of the key problems of modern chemical education. The study of the problem of modeling the content of higher education is not so much in the plane of subject didactics as it has reached the state level. So, at the State Council Meeting [14] the task was set to “develop a set of measures aimed at systematically updating the content of education taking into account modern achievements of science and technology, changing students’ needs and society, focusing on the application of knowledge and skills in real life situations”. Our pedagogical experience shows that it is advisable to build promising models for the content of the chemical training of future doctors on the basis of the competence-based approach, guided by the principles of fundamentality, integrativeness, professional orientation, and rational minimization. Knowledge “sewn up” in context is necessary for students to understand the chemical nature of the processes occurring in the human body; close connection of chemistry with medicine, ecology; contribute to the formation of universal, professional, and in some cases professional competencies.

The existence of the Ellipsis (al-Hadhf) is a feature of the Quran. This gives a clear indication that the Quran is full of beauty and depth of meaning that needs to be understood based on knowledge. Man needs to have the knowledge to understand the revelation of God and use the mind to take advantage of the treasures found in the Quran. This study aims to explore the understanding of Takmir teachers on the verses consisting of sentence omission (Hadhf al-Jumlah) found in surah Yasin according to Tafsir Pimpinan Al-Rahman. This study uses purposive sampling. The participants of this study consisted of Takmir teachers in Selangor. The findings of this study were obtained by using a structured interview method. Based on the findings of the study, there are several verses of the Quran in Surah Yasin consisting of sentence omission (Hadhf al-Jumlah). Through interviews, study participants among takmir teachers in the state of Selangor gave a positive response on the understanding of the verses consisting of sentence omission (Hadhf al-Jumlah) in Surah Yasin. It is hoped that the results of this study can reveal to the community the verses consisting of sentence omission (Hadhf al-Jumlah) found in Surah Yasin in addition to revealing the importance of accurate translation of the verses in the Quran that contain elements of al-Hadhf, especially Hadhf al-Jumlah.

Lesgislação.RELIGIOUS TEACHING IN THE AMAZONAS STATE EDUCATION NETWORK: FIRST OBSERVATIONS IN A NEW FIELDThis article is configured as a preliminary work on the provision of Religious Education in the State of Amazonas and focused on the legal aspects of the discipline at national and state level. For its production, I consulted the normative documents related to this discipline at the state level, comparing them to national legislation and other related documents in order to find convergences and divergences between them. In this process of approximation, it can be seen that Religious Education in Amazonas went back in the form of admission of teachers in relation to the discussions held at the national level and that it was even more inconsistent with the recent opinion of the National Council of Education establishing the Degree in Science (s) of Religion (s) as the formation of the teacher of Religious Education in Brazil. Keywords: Religious Education.
