Digital Marketing Adoption: Determinants, Level of Adoption and Its Impact on Business Performance

The purpose of this research is to investigate how women entrepreneurs are utilising digital marketing media for business marketing and what their perceptions are about digitalisation and the adoption of digital marketing. The aim is to identify the most influential determinants of digital marketing adoption amongst women entrepreneurs, their level of adoption of DM tools, and how their adoption behaviour impacts on the sales of the enterprise and, hence business performance. The findings are drawn based on primary data collected from 136 women entrepreneurs from the state of Karnataka. Hierarchical regression analysis, Somer’s D correlation Test and other descriptive statistics were used to make valid inferences to achieve the objectives of the study. Six factors (perceived expertise, enterprise readiness, perceived industry and regulatory pressure, size of the enterprise, perceived consumer pressure and perceived benefits) were revealed, strongly influencing the digital marketing adoption behaviour among women entrepreneurs. It was also found that the majority of women entrepreneurs exhibited a a low level of adoption, thus indicating that digital marketing adoption is still in its infancy. The results indicated that there was a positive impact of DM adoption level on sales and thus, it also enhanced the business performance of the enterprise.

Objective - Explore the data and information on External Environmental Forces and Company Resources on Strategic Orientation, Absorptive Capability, Value Creation and their implication on Business Performance of courier service industry in Indonesia. Methodology/Technique - The nature of this research is descriptive and verification. The unit of analysis is the courier service industry, and a sample of 72 courier companies from various regions in Indonesia. The time horizon is cross-sectional, where the research is done at a certain time. Primary data is collected by a questionnaire and interviews with management of the companies and stakeholders. The analysis is done by using the model verification Partial Least Square (PLS). Findings - Company Resources have the positive impact on Absorptive Capability to increase Value Creation and Business Performance.However, the magnitude of the influence is faced with the problems of in optimal development of Company Resources on the aspects of tangible and intangible assets. The condition makes companies could not optimize in Absorptive Capability as well as Value Creation to improve Business Performance. Novelty - It was very few articles discussing the comparison of the psychological determinants of online self-disclosure and privacy issues between Polish and Indonesian. This study aims to analyze the effect of the needs of achievement and personal characteristics (education, age, experience, training) on business performance. This research is census research, using 63 respondents of women entrepreneurs to Toga farmers in Jumantono District, Karanganyar Regency. Data analysis technique using binary logistic regression analysis. The conclusions from the results of this study indicate that the needs of achievement and personal characteristics of business experience have a significant effect on business performance, while the variables of education, age, and entrepreneurship training have no significant effect on business performance. Based on the results of this study, the odds/probabilities of the performance of women's entrepreneurial business in Toga farmers in Jumantono District, Karanganyar Regency can be predicted by the needs of achievement and business experience. The implication of this finding is that to achieve high business performance, Toga farmers in Jumantono District, Karanganyar Regency need to increase their needs for achievement and business experience.Keywords: needs of achievement, education, age, experience, training, business performance

The main purpose of this study is to understand and evaluate the factors affecting consumer's preference of fast food items in Kathmandu Valley. Taste, price, ambience and location have been taken as independent variables and brand preference has been taken as dependent variable in the study. The study has been adopted the descriptive and causal research design. Samplesize has been taken 226 under the study. Primary data for the research has-been collected using structured questionnaire from fast food consumer within Kathmandu Valley of University students. To analyze the collected data, descriptive statistics, and Pearson correlation as well as regression analysis has been conducted to identify the relationship and effect between independent variables (taste, price, ambience and location) and dependent variable (consumer preference). SPSS has been used to process the data and to find the result of the data analysis. By the correlation analysis there is significant relationships between independent variables (taste, price, ambience and location) and dependent variable (brand preference). Based on regression analysis, taste, ambience and location have significant and positive impact on consumer preference for fast food items. It means consumers are much more concerned and aware about these factors while consuming the fast food. Similarly, price has less or no effect on consumer preference for fast food items for the respondents taken under the study.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of achievement goal orientation and perception of error on the sport-confidence of adolescent athletes and the moderating effect of perception of error in a competitive sports environment to provide basic data for improving the sport-confidence of adolescent athletes. The subjects of the study were middle and high school athletes (N = 300, Males = 218, Females = 82) registered in institutions under the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. Results revealed that athletes’ achievement goal orientation positively predicted sport-confidence and these pathways were moderated by athletes’ perception of error. The implications for athletes and researchers from those results are discussed.

This study is aimed to investigate the impact of senior management support, employees’ involvement and open corporate culture on the motivation of employees in the education sector of Pakistan. To collect the primary data, a self-administrated questionnaire is used while for secondary data collection research journals and articles are used. The sample size of this study consists of two hundred employees (hundred from public and hundred from private institutes). SPSS is used for measuring the association between variables and to see the impact of senior management support, open corporate culture, and involvement of employees on the motivation of employees. Correlation analysis and regression analysis are used to test the hypothesis of the research model. The motivation of the employees mainly depends upon senior management support and employees' involvement in decision making. Findings of the results support hypothesis 1, 2 & 3 while disproving hypothesis 4. Senior management support and employees’ involvement in decision making have a significant and positive impact on the motivation of employees. And the open corporate culture has no meaningful impact on employees’ motivation.

Cooperatives are not only expected to be able to produce residual business results in each period, investment activities carried out by cooperatives must be effective in producing positive added value, therefore cooperatives need to be managed as well as possible so that they can grow into a strong and independent organization, with the best performance and ability raise the welfare of its members. This research is in Kopsa. Manunggal Enterprises, Seresam Village, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze Cooperative Performance and Its Impact on Members' Welfare. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach, the data the authors use are primary and secondary data, primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to research respondents to measure Cooperative Performance and Members' Welfare Levels, and secondary data obtained directly from Kopsa. Manunggal Enterprises in the form of financial statement documents. The analytical tool used to measure / assess financial performance with the viewpoint of Economic Value Added (EVA. Cooperative Performance is measured based on 6 (six) indicators of Cooperative Performance, namely: Business Entity Activities, Business Performance, Members' Cohesiveness and Participation, Orientation to Member Services, Services to the Community and contribution to Regional Development Welfare level is measured based on aspects of family income, expenditure on consumption, employment status, health conditions and the ability to access other basic needs.The results of descriptive analysis show Kopsa. Manunggal Enterprises including Cooperatives that are performing well, households Farmers who are members of Kopsa, Manunggal Enterprises are included in the welfare category and the regression analysis conducted shows that the regression coefficient is positive, meaning that there is a positive impact between Cooperative Performance and Welfare. The better the Cooperative Performance will have a positive impact on increasing yes the welfare of members, this can happen because of the monoculture community farming patterns where the main source of income of the village community, especially Kopsa members. Manunggal Business is a commodity of oil palm plantations managed by cooperatives, so the cooperative performance variable becomes very influential in influencing the ease of service, distribution of member income, access to credit and other ease of convenience.

The Purpose of this research is to process, analyze, prove empirically and discuss: (a) the effect of perfrormance benefits on the performance of Sorong Maritime and Fisheries Polythecnic employess; (b) The influence of motivation on the performance of Sorong Polytechnic Maritime and Fisheries employess; and (c) The join effect of performance and motivation allowance on the performance of Sorong Polytechnic Maritime and Fisheries employees. This research was conducted in September to November 2018. The author collected data through questionnaires and observation for a month. The population in this study is the Polytechnic Maritime and Fisheries totaling 66 people. This study is a study of facts in the form of opinions/opinion, attitudes, experiences or characteristics of people (respondents) as subject data in the form of primary data obtained from interviews, questionnaire and observation, also seconday data. Analysis of research data using descriptive statistics, with a view to finding strong relationship between variables through correlation analysis with regression analysis, by making comparisons by comparing the average sampel data or population. The results showed that (1) Performance allowance (X1) with all the components of its formation had no effect on employee performance (Y), so the first hypothesis stating that performance allowance (X1) affected employee performance (Y) was not proven; (2) Motivation (X2) with all the components of its formation affect employee performance (Y), so the first hypothesis stating that Motivation (X2) influences employee performance (Y) is proven.

Digital marketing is revolutionizing the organizational structures and offers companies, especially Moroccan companies, a multitude of opportunities to evolve the classic business model to innovate in products and services while building a direct and personalized relationship with customers. Indeed, digital marketing highlights important features for companies seeking efficiency and performance, and it considers an attractive alternative to traditional approaches as a response to the challenges of globalization. The ultimate objective of our research is to confirm the direct relationship between digital marketing and the business performance of companies in the northern region of Morocco. The result of the study was noted by many authors. On this matter, we have conducted a quantitative survey carried out among 120 companies in the northern region of Morocco using the PLS path modeling, a method particularly suited for academic development and predictive applications. According to our empirical study, we found that digital marketing has a positive impact on the performance of companies in the northern region of Morocco.

This study aims to determine the business performance that has been carried out by women entrepreneurs who were focused on home business in Pekanbaru. The population in this study were women entrepreneurs who were focused on home business in Pekanbaru. For sample obtained of 97 people. Collecting data using the questionnaire method, by distributing a list of statements directly to respondents through the google form application. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis which is operated through the SPSS Version20. The results showed that simultaneously the variables of Knowledge Competence (Knowledge), Skills (Skills), Ability (Ability) had a significant effect on the business performance of women home-based business actors in Pekanbaru. Meanwhile, partially for the Ability variable, it does not directly affect the business performance of female home-based business actors in Pekanbaru.

Islamic banks must comply with the Shari'ah rulings fully as it is the foundation of Islamic banks. However, the level of Shari'ah compliance is not the same among the Islamic banks. Similarly, despite performing well, the financial performances of Islamic banks differ from each other. Therefore, the chapter explores the association between financial performance and Shari'ah compliance. The chapter used both the primary and secondary data. The primary data was collected through surveying 300 bank executives from six full-fledged Islamic banks operated in Bangladesh with a structured questionnaire on Shari'ah compliance, whereas information on financial performance were extracted from the annual reports of the sample banks. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis were used to analyze the data and conclude the findings. The findings show that Shari'ah compliance has a positive and significant impact on the financial performance with respect to the total liabilities and total assets.
