[Id]Mikropaleontologi merupakan salah satu cabang dari ilmu paleontologi yang mempelajari mikrofosil. Salah satu pengetahuan yang terdapat pada ilmu mikropaleontologi adalah planktonic foraminifera (fosil plankton). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Forward Chaining. Sistem yang akan dibangun merupakan suatu sistem informasi yang berbasis komputer dengan memanfaatkan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (artificial intelligence) yang berfungsi sebagai sistem alat bantu atau pemberi rekomendasi dari proses identifikasi planktonic foraminifera kepada user. Data rekomendasi yang dihasilkan oleh sistem ini dilengkapi dengan nama spesies planktonic foraminifera, nama genus,? gambar planktonic foraminifera, beserta sifat-sifat fisik dari planktonic tersebut sehingga user dapat mengetahui spesies planktonic foraminifera apa yang ditemukan. Sistem akan menganalisa jawaban dari setiap pertanyaan yang diberikan, sehingga diperoleh hasil dari identifikasi berdasarkan basis pengetahuan yang ada dalam sistem pakar ini. Tugas dari user hanya memasukkan planktonic foraminifera apa saja yang terdapat pada batuan tersebut. Dan setelah itu, sistem akan menghitung range umur relatif berdasarkan range umur dari setiap planktonic foraminifera yang telah dimasukkan.[En]Micropaleontology is one of the branches of the science of paleontology which studies Microfossils. One of the knowledge contained on the planktonic foraminifera is micropaleontology science (fossils of plankton). The methods used in this research is a method of Forward Chaining. The system to be built is a computer-based information system by utilizing the technology of artificial intelligence that serves as the system tools or giver recommendations of the identification process planktonic foraminifera to the user. Data recommendations generated by the system is equipped with a planktonic foraminifera species name, genus name, images of planktonic foraminifera, along with the physical properties of the planktonic so the user can identify the species of planktonic foraminifera what was found. The system will analyze your answers to each question are given, so that the obtained results from identification based on the existing knowledge base in expert system. The task of the user only put in planktonic foraminifera anything contained on these rocks. And after that, the system will calculate the relative age range upon range of planktonic foraminifera of any age that have been entered.

Implementation of Expert System Diagnosis of motorcycle engine damage is a solution of motorcycle service at AHASS 00955 Mitra Perdana, Expert System is a system that is related to the knowledge possessed by experts and technology users to solve a problem. This article, discusses the design of decision-making applications that have an important role in the process of diagnosing motor engine damage. Because the system is currently running the user only hands over the motorcycle to the technician. The use of computer-based artificial intelligence can be a solution to problems in structured decision making. The design of this expert system is designed using the forward tracking inference method and is designed in the form of a website to facilitate users in using it.

Abstract: Photo Copy Machine is a machine which used for duplicating data on paper for many purpose. So this Machine is very important for many people. Cause of it. This machine can be damage quickly. And photo copy’ s machine is not a simple machine, becase all spare part in this machine is connecting one another. This condition can be worst because the comparison between machine and  technicians not balance and this condition make user need more time to fix that machine. Expert System is Computer Based system which adopting the expert skill to solve the problem base on the expert. This system is very suitable to solve the problem because with expert system, the user can know the machine damage and know how to fix this machine. And this sistem can be useful for user.with forward Chaining method. And the purpose from this research to make an expert system to analize the problem which can be realize from the machine’s operational dan fix it. Keyword: Expert System; Damage analysis; Forward Chaining; Photocopy Machine Abstrak:Mesin fotokopi merupakan mesin yang digunakan untuk menggandakan dokumen dalam bentuk kertas yang akan digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan, tingginya kebutuhan akan mesin fotokopi ini membuat pengoperasionalan mesin sangat tinggi dalam waktu yang lama. Keadaan ini membuat kondisi mesin menjadi turun dan mudah mengalami kerusakan. Mesin fotokopi merupakan salah satu mesin yang kompleks yang saling berhubungan satu sama lain, sehingga perlu penanganan ahli dalam memperbaikinya. Keterbatasan jumlah teknisi membuat mesin yang rusak lama untuk diperbaiki, sehingga diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat menggantikan posisi pakar dalam memperbaiki mesin fotokopi. Sistem pakar merupakan sistem yang berbasis komputer yang mengadopsi cara kerja pakar dalam menganalisa suatu masalah dengan metode yang telah disesuaikan dengan masalah yang ada, berdasarkan masalah yang telah dijabarkan diatas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana menciptakan sebuah aplikasi sistem pakar dengan metode forward chaining untuk menganalisa kerusakan mesin dan memberikan solusi untuk memperbaiki mesin fotokopi tersebut.  Kata Kunci: Analisa Kerusakan; Forward Chaining; Fotokopi; Sistem Pakar.

Many pets can be played with, socialize and even live together with humans. Numbers of animal clinics have increased to provide care for pets. This study focuses on Dog as pet. Desease and improper treatment of dog will adversely affect the Dog. In dealing with the problem of Dog disease, Dog owners may experience difficulties due to limited number of clinics and veterinarians, especially in rural areas. As a solution, Artificial Intelligence is used by using expert systems that can help inexperienced medical personnel diagnose early symptoms of Dog disease. The search method used in this research is Forward Chaining and Bayes Theorem method to handle uncertainties that arised. Based on knowledge acquisition, 3 diseases were obtained with 38 simptoms and 60 cases. Based on the tests conducted then obtained the sensitivity value of 80%, the value of accuracy of 88.6% indicates that this expert system is able to diagnose dog diseasesKeywords: Dog, Expert System, Forward Chaining, Bayes Theorem.

Dental and oral disease is one of the diseases that has been felt by most of the people. Insufficient information and the limited level of public awareness of the prevention of dental and oral diseases make the impact quite dangerous if not handled properly. An appropriate information system is needed in overcoming and providing solutions for handling a disease as early as possible. Expert systems can be used as a means of information on the treatment of dental and oral diseases. The manufacture of the expert system in this study initially used the forward chaining method, which is a method that searches based on information that is made into a set of rules so as to get a conclusion. However, after re-analysis, two other methods, namely certainty factor and dempster shafer, were also applied in this study with the aim of overcoming the shortcomings of the forward chaining method, one of which is uncertainty in producing a conclusion or diagnosis of disease. Determining the type of dental and oral disease can be known by looking at the symptoms experienced by the patient. The use of an expert system for diagnosing dental and oral diseases can be used as an initial solution in helping someone to treat the disease. The existence of this expert system can be used as consideration in making decisions to determine the type of dental and oral disease quickly, precisely and accurately.

Insomnia is a symptom that is often experienced by adults of productive age, such as having difficulty starting to sleep, often waking up at night. With the development of technology, most of the jobs have involved technology. Expert systems are artificial intelligence that is growing rapidly in the world of technology. With an expert system, a person can be helped according to their needs when it is difficult to meet directly with the expert. The purpose of this study was to make it easier for researchers to identify insomnia problems based on the symptoms experienced by the adults around them. The research method used is the forward chaining method. while the data collection technique is quantitative data technique. The desired result of this study is the reduction of a person affected by insomnia problems and the Expert System can provide solutions to reduce Insomnia Problems such as relaxation music before consulting a doctor.

At this time the use of computer peripheral technology has grown rapidly and is popular in the community. Most people use it not only for commercial purposes, but also to obtain information on the detection of disease quickly and efficiently with computer-based applications that can help the general public to find out the causes and symptoms of these diseases. For this reason, we need a system designed to be able to mimic the expertise of an expert in answering questions and solving a problem in accordance with the knowledge of an expert entered into a computer system. The development of Artificial Intelligence technology that has occurred has enabled the Expert System to be applied in detecting diseases using the programming language. One of them is in providing information about various problems, especially ITP (Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura) disease. The expert system method used is the Variable Centered Intelligent Rule System (VCIRS) used to deal with diagnosing ITP disease. With the facilities provided for users and administrators, it allows both users and administrators to use this system according to their individual needs. Users are given the ease of knowing information about ITP disease, its causes and prevention. This Expert System was created using the Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 Programming Language.

Expert Systems are computer-based applications that are used to solve problems as the expert thinks. Many college students majoring in Information Technology are difficult to get the thesis title topic even though it has been reading many journals and looking for some references. Therefore to make it easier college students, then the author wants to create an application where college students majoring in Information Technology can more easily get the thesis title topic so the work of thesis becomes more fluent and not obstructed. This app is web based. In system design, the author used several methods in his research that is method of Analyze, Design, and Implementation. Methods in the design of this expert system even this also used forward chaining method as tracking ahead and best first search method. And also using data collection method mean literature study and questionnaire from system that has been created. The result of Expert System of Thesis Title Topic Selection with Forward Chaining method web based expected to be useful and helpfully college students in getting the thesis title topic. Based on questionnaire that has been shared and filled, it can be said that the Expert System of Thesis Title Topic Selection with Forward Chaining Method Web Based is helpful and beneficial for the college students because it helps college student Information Technology in getting Thesis Title.

Reaktor  Serba  Guna  G.A.  Siwabessy  terletak  di  kawasan  Pusat  Penelitian  Ilmu  Pengetahuan  dan Teknologi  (PUSPIPTEK)  Serpong, merupakan  reaktor  riset  yang  dimiliki  oleh Badan  Tenaga Nuklir Nasional (BATAN).  Reaktor  penelitian  ini  berdaya  30  MW  thermal  dengan  fluks  neutron  thermal  sebesar  2  x  1014 n/cm2/detik,  memiliki  beberapa  fasilitas  yang  dapat  digunakan  untuk  melakukan  penelitian  bidang  ilmu pengetahuan  dan  teknologi  nuklir,  juga  melayani  kegiatan  iradiasi  seperti  pengujian  material  dan  produksi radioisotop. Operasi  reaktor  sudah  berlangsung  sejak  diresmikannya  pada  tahun  1987  yang  sudah  tentu  sistem atau peralatan kinerjanya seperti sistem pompa pendingin reaktor sudah menurun yang berdampak  terganggunya operasi reaktor, sehingga harus dicari solusi untuk memudahkan penelusuran gangguan tersebut. Sistem Aplikasi Deteksi gangguan pompa pendingin reaktor sehingga mempermudah dan mempercepat deteksi terhadap gangguan pompa pendingin reaktor. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu Expert System Development Life Cycle  (ESDLC). Metode Foward Chaining digunakan  sebagai  teknik penalaran dari Knowledge Representation Pakar, dan teknik penulusuran Depth First Search  dalam penyusunan algoritmanya. Recent advances in the artificial intelligence technology of knowledge-based expert systems have captivated the imaginations of designers, sponsors, and suppliers of computer-based systems in government and industry as well as researchers in university and non-profit laboratories where the technology originated. An expert system is essentially a way to capture the knowledge and expertise of a subject-matter expert and transfer it to a computer program in hopes of creating an “intelligent” computer system that will emulate the problem-solving and decision-making performance of the expert. Such systems are being built to serve as intelligent advisors and decision aids in a wide variety of application areas. We discuss conceptual issues underlying expert system design, with references to current psychological and artificial intelligence literature, and urge Consideration of these issues before undertaking development of expert systems.

Expert system is a computer-based system that uses knowledge, facts and reasoning techniques in solving problems that can usually only be solved by an expert. Inference method is a thinking mechanism and reasoning patterns used by the system to reach conclusions, while forward chaining is an inference method that traces starting from a set of facts by looking for rules that match the guesswork / hypothesis that leads to conclusions. Expert systems can be applied in various fields, including in medicine, for example how to diagnose a disease. Pregnancy is a happy moment for a mother, but there are still many problems with pregnancy problems in pregnant women because many do not know about pregnancy disorders that usually occur. Puskesmas Bontang Utara I has a program to reduce mortality in pregnant women and infants, by providing guidance and socialization on how to maintain a correct pregnancy. To facilitate public understanding and provide information related to pregnancy disorders, the researchers made the application system expert pregnancy disorders built using the PHP programming language, Dreamweaver 8 as an editor and MySql as the database. Software development methods use the waterfall model and system testing using blackbox. The expert system application in this study provides information on diagnosing pregnancy disorders in pregnant women such as consulting with experts. The diagnostic process starts with the way the user selects or inputs the type of complaint that is felt in accordance with the symptoms provided by the system. By using the forward chaining method and breadth first search search technique, the complaints that have been entered will be matched with the symptoms and types of disturbances stored in the database. So that the results of the diagnosis will be produced as the results of the diagnosis of experts. With this information helps pregnant women recognize pregnancy disorders during pregnancy.
