Water and energy are resources without which it is impossible to present, at least, neither functioning of industrial enterprises nor existence of housekeeping. In terms of Oliver Williamson they are the typical resources (assets) of the general setting. Cases are at the same time possible, when they come forward as resources, alternative to generally accepted, namely: they appear in a role of specific resources. Reasons for it can be various, depending on the specificity of the concrete situation. As in the case of specific resources (assets) risks are great, it causes the special system requirements management such by water and energy. This paper is devoted to the exposure of features of these requirements.

AbstractSituated normativity is the ability of skilled individuals to distinguish better from worse, adequate from inadequate, appropriate from inappropriate, or correct from incorrect in the context of a particular situation. Situated normativity consists in a situated appreciation expressed in normative behaviour, and can be experienced as a bodily affective tension that motivates a skilled individual to act on particular possibilities for action offered by a concrete situation. The concept of situated normativity has so far primarily been discussed in the context of skilled unreflective action. In this paper, we aim to explore and sketch the role of the concept of situated normativity in characterising more reflective forms of normativity. The goal of the paper is two-fold: first, by showing more reflective forms of normativity to be continuous with unreflective situated normativity, we bring these reflective forms into the reach of embodied accounts of cognition; and second, by extending the concept of situated normativity, new light is thrown on questions regarding reflective forms of cognition. We show that sociomaterial aspects of situations are crucial for understanding more reflective forms of normativity. We also shed light on the important question of how explicit rules can compel people to behave in particular ways.

This paper discusses the significance of nonmonotonic reasoning, a method from the knowledge representation area, to mainstream software engineering. In particular, we discuss why the use of defaults in specifications is an adequate way of addressing some of the most important problems in requirements engineering, such as: The problem of identifying and dealing with inconsistencies; evolving system requirements; requirements prioritization; and the quality of specifications with respect to naturalness and compactness. We argue that these problems need to be addressed in a principled, formal way, and that default reasoning provides adequate mechanisms to deal with them.

The article explores the terminological apparatus of such categories as "law" and "regularity" and establishes links between them. It has been proved that it is impossible to disclose the content of the methodology of financial risk management of industrial enterprises without applying the laws of different levels of knowledge (universal, general, and partial). In this connection, it has been disclosed the substantive essence of universal, general, and partial laws, the laws that are descriptive and explanatory, the laws that are statistical and dynamic, the laws that are fundamental and applied, the laws that are phenomenological and essential, and the laws of systems formation, functioning and development. The role and place of management laws in the system of laws have been determined and the role of financial risk management laws has been formulated. The basic methods of the research of problems of financial risk management of industrial enterprises have been summarized and the content of the basic laws and regularities of financial risk management of industrial enterprises has been formulated.

The article is aimed at studying the features of energy saving at a manufacturing enterprise and establishing a cause-and-effect relationship between energy saving and product competitiveness. Due to analyzing and generalizing the research results of domestic and foreign scientists the views of researchers on the process of energy saving at a manufacturing enterprise are systematized; the growing role of energy saving in ensuring energy efficiency and, consequently, product competitiveness is established. The research results show that energy saving at an enterprise is one of its most important assets, the impact of which on the level of product competitiveness is becoming increasingly important in the face of the exacerbating energy and environmental crises. Energy saving, basically focusing on the intensification of production processes and use of energy and energy resources, on the one hand, reduces the level of specific energy consumption and, consequently, the price of the released product while maintaining or increasing its quality; on the other hand, it reduces the carbon loading on the environment, thus contributes to the growth of the company's image among its consumers and partners. Both components are the most important factors in ensuring product competitiveness. The development and implementation of energy saving measures at industrial enterprises, with regard to the industry-specific character of economic entities, market conditions, and the requirements of environmental standards can serve as prospects for further research

The role of business in advancing the economy and welfare is highly expected in the community. In the development of a business that occurs, it often sacrifices non-profit aspects, such as the environment. The indirect impact that can arise from business development is climate change. This study uses climate data and the number of industrial enterprises by type at the village level, to determine the effect of business on the climate that occurs. This study uses ordinary least square, to determine the role of each independent variable. The results of this study indicate that an increase in 1,000 of these types of businesses will result in an increase in temperature of 1 oC. Furthermore, an increase in 1,000 types of business will reduce rainfall by 11 to 64 mm. Government and community efforts are needed to maintain climatic conditions for the sustainability of the ecosystem.

The author focuses on problems in the economy of the developing countries likely to arise as a consequence of mineral exploitation in the new territories. A general shortage of mineral resources, although predicted, should not uncritically be adopted as a sufficient explanation of the demonstrated interest of industrial enterprises in undertaking heavy investments in the new territories. The economic security claimed by institutions financing large-scale investments, may just as likely force the companies to seek options for long-term supplies from these areas, unhampered by the politically caused instabilities perceived in the Third World. This development may tend to push the developing countries into the role of subsidiary suppliers in the world market. The committees preparing the UN Conference on the Law of the Sea have so far taken no realistic measures to counteract this possibility, which may prove detrimental to the economies of several developing countries. The Conference will, in the opinion of the author, provide little but a settlement of disputed interests among the coastal states.
