The article deals with significant changes that are associated with total informatization, which is a powerful converter of economic, social and other types of life activity of society. The author notes that at the same time, the satisfaction of information needs, the state of the information space for minors should be subject to moderate regulation. Attention is drawn to the fact that the intensive growth of the diversity of information and communication technologies is today the dominant environment for the development of a modern child. The characteristics of information harmful to the health and development of children are given. It is proved that relying on the principles of a systematic approach makes it possible to competently organize and correctly carry out the process of achieving the state of protection of children in the information space by various methods and means. Ensuring the information security of childhood is defined by the author as a system; the components of the system of ensuring the information security of childhood (methodological, regulatory, organizational and activity, effective) are highlighted.

Purpose. To establish the peculiarities of growth and development and formation of productivity of Savoy cabbage varieties (Brassica sabauda Lizg.) in the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Methods. The research was conducted in the Research and Production Department of Uman National University of Horticulture in the years 2018–2020. Varieties of savoy cabbage (‘Vertu 1340’ – control, ‘Sphere’, ‘Rozali’ and ‘Vertus’) were planted according to the scheme 70 × 40 cm (35.7 thousand plants/ha). Results. During the sowing of seeds (April 25) on cold ridges in a row method with a row spacing of 10 cm, mass shoots of Savoy cabbage were observed on average in early May (7–8 days), the beginning of head formation – in the middle of August, and their technical maturity in late September. Intensive growth of heads took place in the middle and late August and ended in late September. On average, over the years of research, the largest diameter of the head was observed in the cultivars ‘Vertu 1340’ – 18.7 cm, the smallest in the ‘Rosalie’ – 16.1 cm. at one level – 17.5 and 17.6 cm, respectively. The smallest in height at the level of the rosette and head were plants of the ‘Sphere’ and ‘Vertus’ varieties – 25.4 and 23.4 cm and 26.9 and 24.6 cm, respectively. The control variety ‘Vertu 1340’ was characterized by the highest indicators of height of both the rosette (40.7 cm) and the actual head (36.5 cm). Slightly lower rates were observed in the variety ‘Rosalie’ – 32.9 and 31.8 cm, respectively. The highest yields were formed by Savoy cabbage varieties ‘Vertus’ (53.1 t/ha) and ‘Sphere’ (51.8 t/ha), which exceeded the control variant by 7.4 and 6.1 t/ha, respectively (‘Vertu 1340’ – 45.7 t/ha). The least productive among the studied assortment was ‘Rosalie’ yielding 39.9 t/ha. Conclusions. When grown in the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, the highest yields of marketable products are formed by Savoy cabbage varieties ‘Sphere’ and ‘Vertus’.

The study uses data from state and industry official statistics for 2008-2017. Absolute and relative indicators of morbidity and prevalence of chronic cystitis among the female population of Ukraine, its regions and areas were analyzed taking into account two five-year periods for comparative assessment of the nature and intensity of dynamic processes. It is revealed that the number of patients with chronic cystitis (СC) registered in Ukraine is at the expense of women, which are 3-3.5 times more in number than men, with their characteristic more intensive growth (for 10 years by 3.6% against 0.4% among the adult population in the country). The first three places in the structure belong to the Southeastern region, Kyiv, Western region, the next – Central, Southern, Northeastern regions. Levels of the prevalence of the disease among women (100 thousand) are higher than the average in Ukraine and have a high growth rate (for 10 years by 13.5% from 232.2 to 263.6 against 9.3% from 171.5 to 187.5, respectively). Typical for Ukraine persistent increase in patients with the first diagnosis of chronic cystitis (0.8%, 2.1% and 2.8%, respectively, in the first, second periods and 10 years to 15112 in 2017) is also formed by this category (women's growth was 3.4%, 12.4%, and 5.0%, respectively, to 11.295). A similar situation was also identified in the analysis of the level of morbidity (per 100 thousand). In Ukraine, its growth rate for the last five years was 9.6% against 1.8% for the previous year, for 10 years – 11.9%, and the value reached 43.4 in 2017 against 38.8 in 2008. Among women, its levels are higher than the average in Ukraine (in 2017 – 59.2 against 56.1 in 2008), and the increase was more intense (by 6.2% and 11.3% over the periods; for 10 years – by 11.98%).

В настоящее время из-за интенсивного роста морской торговли наблюдается тенденция развития морских портов. Прибрежные территории и районы расположения порта становятся источниками загрязнения, а техногенное воздействие на окружающую среду и возникающие при этом неблагоприятные воздействия на природную обстановку оказывают негативное влияние на среду обитания человека. Для снижения негативных воздействий на окружающую среду необходимо замещение ископаемых видов топлива возобновляемыми источниками энергии. Сегодня одним из перспективных направлений развития и совершенствования систем электроснабжения является применение фотоэлектрических панелей, благодаря которым можно достичь целей по обеспечению экологической безопасности морской среды. В статье описана методика аналитической оценки солнечного потенциала. На примере Калининградского морского торгового порта дана точная оценка количества поступающей солнечной радиации на поверхность фотоэлектрических панелей, проведен расчет эффективности применения различных способов установки фотоэлектрических панелей на территории порта и определены перспективы использования фотоэлектрических панелей с различными способами установки в качестве дополнительных источников генерации. Currently, due to the intensive growth of maritime trade, there is a tendency for the development of seaports. Coastal territories and port areas become sources of pollution, and man-made impacts on the environment and the resulting adverse impacts on the natural environment have a negative impact on the human environment. To reduce the negative impact on the environment, it is necessary to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy sources. Today, one of the promising directions for the development and improvement of power supply systems is the use of photovoltaic panels, thanks to which it is possible to achieve the goals of ensuring the ecological safety of the marine environment. The article describes a technique for analytical assessment of solar potential. Using the example of the Kaliningrad Commercial Sea Port, an accurate assessment of the amount of incoming solar radiation on the surface of photovoltaic panels is given, the effectiveness of using various methods of installing photovoltaic panels on the port territory is calculated, and the prospects for using photovoltaic panels with various installation methods as additional sources of generation are determined.

Abstract The relevance of the topic of the study is due to the strategic importance of increasing the productivity of the agro-industrial complex of Russia to ensure national food security and implementation of the policy of food import substitution, as well as overcoming the technological gap in comparison with the world leaders of agrobusiness and the soonest way to sustainable intensive growth. There is a significant technological gap in the agro-industrial complex in terms of ensuring smart growth of agribusinesses based on digital technologies and solutions, which negatively affects its production, export potential and financial condition. The purpose of the research is to study the problems and prospects of the development of digital infrastructure in the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. The study considers the conceptual apparatus, conducted a statistical study of activity in the digitalization of agriculture by agribusiness, priority business models of agriculture in the digital economy; the assessment of investment activity with regard to the formation of digital infrastructure, the priorities for the development of digital services and solutions. The conclusion of the scientific research identifies the main problems in the formation of digital infrastructure in the agro-industrial complex.

Abstract The research is devoted to the study of the influence of the modern antioxidant of the flavonoid group ‘Dihydroquercetin’ as part of the feed combination on the hematological profile and biochemical parameters of the blood of broiler chickens of the KOBB-500 cross. The content of hemoglobin and erythrocytes in the blood of broilers receiving dihydroquercetin increased, which indicates an increase in the intensity of redox processes in the body. The number of leukocytes in all groups was normal, but in the experimental groups their decrease was noted, which indicates the therapeutic and immunostimulating effect of the drug. Evaluation of protein metabolism by the content of total protein and the fraction of albumin in the blood serum showed its positive dynamics within the normal physiological values, which characterizes an increase in the intensity of assimilation processes in the bird’s body. The metabolism of carbohydrates was assessed by the content of glucose in it, and a decrease in its level indicates its increased consumption as an energy component for metabolic processes associated with intensive growth of chickens. An increase in the activity of alkaline phosphatase by 1.3-1.8 times is associated with the active growth of chickens.

Abstract Wet sparging grain, a waste product of brewery, was shown to be successfully utilized as a supplement to the nutrient media and substrates for both isolation of the vegetative mycelium of the Pleurotus ostreatus mushroom, as well as for its further recovery and growing the carposomes. We studied the influence of the wet sparging grain on mycelium growth. Cultivation results demonstrated that wet sparging grain is an efficient additional component to the minimal agarized nutrient media for P. ostreatus growth and isolation and to its common fruit body cultivation substrates. Even the depleted agaric media and substrates with addition of the sparging grain allowed intensive growth of the P. ostreatus mycelium and its fructifying. Practical Application: Addition of wet sparging grain to poor cheap substrates increases their quality for rearing the edible oyster mushroom mycelium to the level of reach substrates, and allows utilization of agricultural wastes. The technique is ready for application and patented in the Russian Federation.

Abstract: Covering the period 1994 to 2019, this chapter shows that between 1994 and 2008 South Africa’s growth performance improved and that this improvement was to a large extent driven by an improvement in total factor productivity (TFP). However, since 2008 South Africa’s growth performance has deteriorated significantly. The chapter shows that the deteriorating growth performance was accompanied by the deterioration of TFP, and argues that lower private-sector investment levels, combined with low levels of human capital development and a lack of international competitiveness, constitute the causes of lower productivity and economic growth. This chapter also explores the various growth policies put forward since the mid-1990s to improve economic growth. These include labour-intensive growth, export-driven growth, and investment-driven growth. The chapter argues that the implementation of a well-designed combination of these policies will be needed to attain higher levels of economic growth.

Background. Pre-school age is the period of especially fast growth and physical development, characterized by an intensive growth and development of a child’s organism, great changes in the activity of the functional systems, which is affected by increasing physical activeness and fitness (Grinienė & Vaitkevičius, 2009; Howells & Sääkslahti, 2019). Previous studies have identified parental influence as a factor that can shape a child’s physical self–perception and act as a stimulus for physical activity and fitness (Eddolls, McNarry, Stratton, & Mackintosh, 2016).  The aim of this study was to indicate physical activity of 5–6-year-old children and to determine the interaction between parents’ physical activity and physical fitness data. Methods. The study involved pre-school age children (n = 59) from 5 to 6 years old: 31 girls and 21 boys; also, their parents (n = 101) were involved: 57 mothers and 44 fathers. Physical activity was measured objectively using the ActiGraph GT3X model. The children performed five physical fitness tests (PFT) according to the Eurofit methodology. Also, parents were asked to fill in questionnaires about their own and their children’s physical activity, and also subjective physical fitness. Results. It turned out that there was a significant difference in the time spent in moderate and moderate to vigorous (MVPA) physical activity between 5 to 6-year-old children (p < .05). Comparing pre-school children’s physical fitness by gender we found that boys were more physically fit than girls when performing long jumps, but girls were more physically fit than boys when performing a sit and reach test (p < .05). Subjectively measured PA identified that 72.6% of parents (of both genders) were sufficiently physically active and 27.4% were inadequate physically active. Conclusion. The results revealed that 6-year-old children spent more time in sedentary time than 5-year-olds, who accumulated more time in moderate and total MVPA physical activity per day. No significant relation was found between parents’ and children’s physical activity and fitness.   Keywords: physical activity, physical fitness, pre-school child, health, parents.

Crossbreeding in cattle contributes to the production of crossbred young animals, which due to enriched heredity have the potential for intensive growth and achieving a high level of beef productivity. The purpose of the work was to study the infl uence of crossbreeding of cattle of Kazakh White-headed and Hereford breeds on the efficiency of consumption and use of the main nutrients of the ration by steers, heifers and castrated steers. For the experiment, 3 groups of heifers and 6 groups of steers of the following genotypes have been formed: the 1st Kazakh White-headed, the 2nd – 1/2 Hereford×1/2 Kazakh White-headed, the 3rd – 3/4 Kazakh White-headed×3/4 Hereford. At the age of 3 months half of the steers were castrated. It has been found that purebred animals were inferior to crossbreds from the crossbreeding of cattle of Kazakh White-headed and Hereford breeds. For example, during the rearing period, purebred animals of Kazakh White-headed breed consumed 2638,8– 3272,1 feed units and 2674,8–3549,2 EFU, crossbreds of the genotype 1/2 Hereford×1/2 Kazakh White–headed – 2811,6–3389,2 feed units and 2836,4–3640,1 EFU, crossbreds of the genotype 3/4 Kazakh White-headed×3/4 Hereford – 2749,2–3332,1 feed units and 2764,3–3332,0 EFU, metabolic energy, respectively, by genotypes – 26 748,1–35 492,1 MJ, 28 364,2 – 36 401,2 MJ and 27 643,1–35 941,9 MJ, digestible protein – 246,0–344,2 kg, 296,1–356,9 kg and 289,2–350,5 kg, crude protein-350,9–451,4 kg, 365,2–466,8 kg and 362,1–460,5 kg. The crossbreeding of cattle of Kazakh White-headed and Hereford breeds had a certain influence on the studied indicators. Thus, the best indicators of the efficiency of consumption and use of the main nutrients of the ration among steers, heifers and castrated steers were distinguished by half-blood crossbreds. At the same time, the largest amount of consumption of all nutrients in the ration was distinguished by steers, the smallest – heifers, castrated steers occupied an intermediate position.
