Resume. Introduction of a Dental Operating Microscope (DOM) in the clinical work can make some difficulties in operator’s work.In particular, to ensure the safety of the operator’s visual system and ergonomics of the work, the operator’s gaze should be continuously directed to the operating field. The instruments should be moved over the operating field by the assisting personnel, whose participation in the transfer is not complete until the evening nstrument is visible through the microscope and the operator is fully capable of controlling its movement. Instrument transfer method in DOM includes 3 steps: modified direct placement, predelivery, delivery and exchange of instruments. In the presented method the most important elements are the properly oriented end of the instrument by dental assistant and mutual grasp of instrument. The method allows to reduce the load on the operator’s visual system and to make four-handed work ergonomic. Key words: dental operating microscope (DOM), four-handed dentistry in DOM, instrument transfer in DOM, mutual grasp, visual system overload of dental operator.

This study aimed at identifying the professional development requirements for biology teachers at the secondary stage in light of the Kingdom's vision 2030 and the degree of availability of these requirements from the viewpoint of biology teachers. The study also aimed at revealing the differences in the responses of biology teachers about the requirements of professional development according to some variables (years of experience, training Program, academic qualification). The study used the descriptive methodology and was applied to a sample of (79) teachers. The study used a questionnaire consisting of (72) items as an instrument, which was distributed on seven domains. The results showed that the degree of availability of professional development requirements for biology teachers at the secondary stage was medium. The results also showed statistically significant differences in the teachers ’responses to the degree of availability of these requirements due to the variables of training Program and years of experience, while there were no statistically significant differences due to the academic qualification variable. A suggested proposal was prepared to achieve the requirements of professional development for biology teachers.    Key words: a proposed Perception- professional development- biology teachers - the secondary stage - the Kingdom’s vision. 2030.

Nine elite male junior weightlifters (mean age 17.6 ± 0.3 yrs) performed weightlifting tests before (Test 1) and after (Test 2) 1 week of increased training volume (overreaching) and repeated the protocol after 1 year of their training program. Strength increased by Year 2 (p < 0.05) but did not change during either week of increased training volume. The 1-week overreaching stimulus resulted in attenuated exercise-induced testosterone concentrations during Year 1, but augmented exercise-induced testosterone concentrations during Year 2. Testosterone concentrations at 7 a.m. decreased for only Year 1. For both years, the 1-week overreaching stimulus increased Cortisol at 7 a.m., indicative of the increased training volumes. Testosterone/Cortisol was not affected by increased training volume for either year. One year of chronic weightlifting and prior exposure to the overreaching stimulus appears to decrease the detrimental effects of stressful training on the endocrine system. Key words: testosterone, Cortisol, weightlifting, overtraining

Many methods for systems design and development entail an iterative approach to the development of training programs. It is intended that feedback from potential users be taken into account throughout the development and implementation of the system. Boies et al. (1985) have observed that, in practice, this is rarely done. In their development of the 1984 Olympic Message System (OMS), Boies et al. adhered to three design principles inherent to an iterative approach: (1) Early focus on user, task and training concerns; (2) empirical measurement; and (3) reformulation of the goals and procedures based on user feedback. The present paper describes our application of these principles in designing a short, informal program for training college faculty in the use of an expensive audio-visual system. Our successful application of Boies et al.'s principles to an already existing system, where there is little opportunity to make hardware modifications, and even to a situation which demands that the training period be very brief, attests to the power and flexibility of this approach.

- The article presents the transcription of a psychotherapeutic session, which makes it evident how gestalt therapy clinical has evolved through decades, from being centered into here-and-now and awareness to the support of now-for-next, of the client's intentionality for contact. The here presented example shows how psychotherapy intervention is considered nowadays as a co-creation of the contact-boundary between therapist and client, a remake of the client's painful relational schemas, more than as a way of integrating disowned aspects of the client. This new view of gestalt therapy clinical work allows us to develop procedural and relational aspects which characterize this approach since its origins, while other approaches are discovering them now.Key words: co-creation, resilience, introjection, intentionality for contact, obsessivecompulsive, now-for-next, empty chair.Parole chiave: Co-creazione, confine di contatto, resilienza, introiezione, intenzionalitŕ di contatto, ossessivo-compulsivo, now-for-next, sedia vuota.

✓ The use of the operating microscope has revolutionized the surgical approach to many neurosurgical diseases. The microscope has provided magnification, binocular vision, and excellent lighting in the depths of neurosurgical wounds, allowing the performance of exceedingly delicate procedures that were previously impossible. Occasionally, an operative approach demands microscopic bone dissection. Instrumentation has been developed for working with soft tissue, but special instruments for osseous dissection have not been available. A set of newly developed punches and curettes with a bayonetted offset is described. These keep the surgeon's hand out of the operating field and allow unimpeded visualization through the operating microscope. These prototype instruments have been used successfully in over 100 microscopic neurosurgical procedures.

- This paper explores the fear of love and relationship which develops when a child has experienced parents who cannot tolerate emotional separation and so attempt to retain perfect contingency with their infant, long after the infant needs to begin to separate and individuate. The child is a "self-object" for the parents, who depend on the responses of others, including their own child, to maintain a sense of their own identity. The impact of this demand for "reverse parenting" on the child's development is explored and clinical work with an adult patient whose history reflects this process is described.Parole chiave: anoressia, difese, dissociazione, individuazione, comunicazione indessicale, funzione riflessiva, Sé, Sé-agente, simbolismo.Key words: anorexia, defences, dissociation, individuation, indexical communication, reflective function, self, self-agency, symbolism.

Abstract Background Although cesarean sections at full dilatation are increasing, training in delivering a deeply impacted fetal head is lacking among obstetricians. The purpose of the study was to implement and evaluate a theoretical and simulation-based training program for this obstetrical emergency. Methods We developed a training program consisting of a theoretical introduction presenting a clinical algorithm, developed on the basis of the available literature, followed by a simulation session. We used the Kirkpatrick’s framework to evaluate the program. A questionnaire was distributed, directly before, immediately and 6 weeks after the training. Self-perceived competencies were evaluated on a 6-point Likert scale. Pre- and post-test differences in the Likert scale were measured with the Wilcoxon signed rank test. Additionally, the training sessions were video recorded and rated with a checklist in relation to how well the algorithm was followed. Results Eleven residents and eight senior physicians took part to the training. More than 40% of participants experienced a comparable situation after the course during clinical work. Their knowledge and self-perceived competencies improved immediately after the training program and 6 weeks later. Major improvements were seen in the awareness of the algorithm and in the confidence in performing the reverse breech extraction (14.3% of the participants felt confident with the maneuver in the pre-training assessment compared with 66.7% 6 week post-training). Conclusion Our theoretical and simulation-based training program was successful in improving knowledge and confidence of the participants in delivering a deeply impacted fetal head during a cesarean section performed at full dilation.
