Abstract. The formation of competitive ability of our state on the world stage led to the development of change management theory, in particular, in the educational field. The modernization of education is impossible without understanding the philosophical and social aspects of differentiation of the conceptual apparatus in the theory of change management. The urgency of the problem is enshrined in such normative documents as the Law of Ukraine on Education and the Concept of the New Ukrainian School. The philosophy of change pervades both classical and modern philosophical sciences, in which the leading idea is the general variability of events. In the social context, scientists will highlight the problem of managing human life in the environment, which is directly the task of education. Today, the educational institution is managed in line with changes. It has been investigated that the philosophical aspects of change management relate to particular concepts. It is substantiated that the concepts of «change» and «development», «process» and «evolution», «change» and «innovation» are in a dialectical connection to the extent of development of society. However, these concepts cannot substitute each other Project developments specialize in the practical management of changes in educational institutions that apply and deepen the change of a single apparatus in philosophical and social work, which allows to shift a deeper understanding of the integral essential management processes. The prospect of further research is the study of the social effects of applying change management mechanisms in general secondary education.

Educational institutions are complex organizations; equally complex are the issues involved in managing such institutions. The authors suggest that faculty feedback sessions, meant to develop an open and interactive culture among faculty members, can also provide the basis for analysis of the complex forces at work in academic institutions. They contend that while the collegiate system is most appropriate for institutions where there is a wide distribution of expertise, it is essential to recognize the integral nature of conflict in the management processes of such institutions.

The purpose of this study was to describe the perspective of parents regarding the autonomy of children with autism in the social aspects of Soeprapto mental hospital, Bengkulu. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a research sample of 10 informants and 4 autistic therapists. Data were obtained from interviews and observations. The results of the study obtained information from the social aspect of the child that they are willing to play with their peers and interact with the surrounding environment, are afraid of meeting people they do not know, ask to be welcomed when they meet close people such as father, mother and caregiver, but still many children who take autism therapy have not achieved a significant level of independence. This is due to the level of obedience of children with autism in following therapy or learning provided by therapists and support from children's families who only rely on the education provided by the therapist. In conclusion, the autonomy of children with autism has not reached a significant level of independence based on the parents' perspective. The increasing fisibility of the children with disability or special needs enhanced the debate and efforts for a new philosohy related to the treatment‎ of disability problematics in general and, especially, to their education. The concept of diasbility has evolved to a model of integration and social inclusion, especially the social ‎inclusion of children with disability in common schools‎. The law 'On the protection from discrimination' prohibits discrimination on grounds of disability, and refusal of registration in an educational institution because of this ground. Furthermore, this law provides the obligation of statal institutions to take positive measures to make possible the enhance of education of vulnerable groups, including children with disability or special needs. These provisions would lack if not accompanied with the creation of a legal framework that explicitly provide for this inclusion philosophy and create the proper mechanisms to make it applicable. It is evident the indispensability of a multi-dimensional treatment of this problematic, that requires also the collaboration of many actors.‎ ‎The innovative stands just in the creation of mechanisms that would make possible such an inclusion. This process requires directors of educational institutions and active and teachers, devoted on the integration of children with disability in every aspect of teaching and educational process.

This short introductory chapter sets out the aims and scope of the book as a whole, with the goal of orienting the reader. It explains the motivation for the project and the philosophical inspirations for the approach, as well as the limitations. The chapter begins by explaining the gap referenced in the title in terms of a gap between moral ideals and the reality of human beings and human life. Moral improvement is the practical project of trying to narrow that gap as far as possible. Understood as a practical project, it is fundamentally first-personal. It is also, however, fundamentally social. Moral improvement is something we do together. The social aspect of moral improvement consists in constructing joint normative spaces in which we can make ourselves better. The chapter concludes with brief summaries of individual chapters.
