Roads are infrastructure that are very important for aspects of human life, because with good roads, road users can safely and comfortably drive, so that it will improve the economic sector in the city, but in reality many roads are currently disrupting. so that road users are not comfortable passing the road when using motorized vehicles, this is caused by changes in shape and texture both in terms of quantity and quality such as damaged or perforated roads, but information about damaged roads cannot be known to many people, especially in the streets remote residential areas of the city, therefore there is a need for geographic information systems to find out information about the availability of roads in the city of Bekasi, to ensure that drivers feel comfortable and safe for their purposes, this system is made using android-based mobile devices that make it easier for users to access anywhere and anytime

Completion of the transportation problems in the city of Pekanbaru currently only looked at in terms of congestion, but not touching insights from environmental aspects such as performance air pollution and noise levels. This research was conducted at the observation point road ahead Repair Tambusai lord Eastern Daihatshu, road Tuanku Tambusai West Side Mall SKA, North Soekarno Hatta street front retail outlets, street front Soekarno Hatta South Hotel Ibis Pekanbaru. V / C Ratio highest in the afternoon rush hour on the road ahead Tambusai lord Stations Daihatsu ie 0.86 pelyanan road performance E. Quality Standard ambient NOx emissions do not exceed the threshold of ambient quality standards, the NOx emission = 281.76 mg/m3. Quality Standard ambient CO emissions do not exceed the threshold of ambient quality standards, namely emission = 7456.79 mg/m3, the noise level over the limit of noise that is 71.41 dB (A). To balance the load reduction in pollutant emissions and noise levels at the flyover plan with the plan of special bus lane traffic volume assumptions have to move 25% of the transfer of the road users of private vehicles and motorbikes switch to using mass public transport vehicles ie Trans Metro bus Pekanbaru.

In Tanah Grogot district, precisely on the KM 6 road which is the city boundary roads of Tanah Grogot City-Lolo Kuaro it has an important role as the only access for road users. Because at the side of the roads does not have a drainage channel, resulting in water overflowing and the seepage flowed on the surface, causing a landslide. The length of the landslides is 50 meters, with a width of 5.5 meters and the highest height is 9.6 meters. The result of this landslide is very disturbing for the road users. The delivery of goods and services can not be accommodated properly. Therefore, it is expected that this path must be handled properly, so the road can be functioning again safely and comfortably. How to handle this problem is by making a design of retaining walls construction which is safe in form of sheet pile.The planning for this anchored sheet pile begins with analyzing the secondary data in form of data sondir, laboratory data, and topographic measurement data. This then followed by the calculation of the forces acting on the sheet pile, the calculation of moments in the sheet pile, the calculation of the carrying capacity of the pile on the anchor, capacity calculations for the mast against a lateral load, and the slope stability analysis using GeoStudio2007 application. After that designing the sheet pile construction, tierod, the pile, planning the budget, and makes the Detail Engineering Design (DED).From the planning, the profile of concrete sheet pile obtained is CCSP W-500-A-1000 with a total length of the sheet pile is 12.2 meters. On tierod using dimensions of 6.32 m long with a diameter of 5 cm. On the pile is using a steel pipe with a diameter of 40 cm which penetrated into 10 m depth. For the stability of the slope with the reinforcement of piles obtained SF = 5.5> 1.25, which can be said as safe.Keywords:  designing sheet pile, anchored sheet pile, steel pipe piles.

ABSTRACT  Related to the implementation of the Regional Regulation (Perda) about the increase in parking rates at the edge of the road prone to congestion in the city of Bogor ratified and entered into force on July 2, 2012, The first location that imposed this tariff is the Way Suryakencana and Jalan Siliwangi Bogor and the second location is the application of The Government through the Department trials Traffic Transportation (DLLAJ) Bogor City gets a reaction from the people around Jalan Suryakencana. Enactment of the increase in parking rates at Jalan Bogor Suryakencana expected to reduce illegal parking of vehicles in the area, which has been causing congestion. With parking rates that have been enacted many road users who park their vehicles in multiple and indiscriminate. The method used in this study is empirical juridical approach. The study, based on an inventory of positive law, the discovery of the principles of law and legal discovery inconcretto, which include observation of empirical operationalization of law in society. The conclusion from this study is the basis of the application of the levy Parking Services Bank Public Road, especially in the city of Bogor is Law No. 28 of 2009 on Regional Taxes and Levies and Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2012. Implementation of Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2012 on Increase Rates Parking is not yet fully effective this is due to high payments also has not been matched with adequate services, the responsibility for the damage and loss still be a burden for the owner of the vehicle so that the functions and responsibilities of the government that deal with parking problems is questionable. Impact parking tariff policy to demand that any increase in the parking rate of 10 percent would result in a decrease in the use of parking of 0.7 -0.8 percent, increase use of public transport and cycling amounted to 3.71 percent of 0.9 percent. Maps have been used for thousands of years to present and analyze geographic information. One of the most famous and earliest cases of geography and maps being utilized for public health surveillance is the physician John Snow's mapping of cholera in London in the mid-1850s to understand the spread of the disease. By plotting the distribution of cholera deaths in the city on a map, he determined that an unusually high number of deaths were taking place near a specific water pump. Following this finding the pump's handle was removed and the number of cholera deaths dramatically decreased. Since then maps in various forms have helped locate and identify various disease patterns. Recent advances in information technology have resulted in the development of computerized mapping methodologies such as geographic information systems (GIS). A growing number of anthropologists, including researchers at the Hispanic Health Council, have recognized the potential value of GIS for the kinds of work we do and incorporate this methodology.

Remote Sensing is a method of examination used in the study of resources on earth without any physical contact. It is a method by which the characteristics of the land below are recorded from space and sky. Determining the characteristics of natural and cultural resources of earth, sustainable exploitation of these resources in the most effective ways and continuous monitoring of the changes in these resources are fundamental to being a developed country. For a sustainable land use and urbanization, data about the unstable natural environment must be collected and monitored at regular intervals, and in order to do these, Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) are employed. Images obtained through RS method can be analyzed for the accurate use of the data available. This study seeks to determine the spatial development in and around the city of Isparta through digital imaging processing techniques on different satellite images which belong to different years. Images from satellites ASTER and LANDSAT; information on the quarters in Isparta and the city plan and ERDAS IMAGINE 9.1 program were used in the study. The spatial development of the city of Isparta was studied on the basis of the satellite images obtained in the years 1987, 2000 and 2010 and this study was integrated into GIS. Having analyzed how much change occurred and which way it trended, important information was collected which will be used as source for future studies to be carried out on Isparta. It was observed that while residential areas increased, amount of forested land, and agricultural areas decreased during the periods studied.

GIS technologies allow an analyzis of large data sets at the lowest cost. To  date, when forming a network of secondary schools, almost no geographic information  systems have been used. GIS plays a special role in the study of transport and walking  accessibility to GSEI. The article analyzes the theoretical, methodological and practical  problems of using geographic information systems in studies of walking accessibility to general secondary schools of Chernivtsi city  territorial community and describes the general secondary education institutions of the studied community. Based on geoinformation  systems developed in Open Route Service and QGIS, the areas of the community with the best and worst walking accessibility to  secondary schools were identified, which is certainly of great practical importance in creating pivotal institutions, their service zone  and overcoming the problem of overcrowding in some schools. The most convenient location of the general secondary education  institutions of Chernivtsi city territorial community was observed in the central part of the city, as well as in microdistricts Prospect and  Boulevard, where there is a fairly dense arrangement of general secondary education institutions. There are also areas in the community  that are outside the 2-kilometer walking accessibility zone and require transportation for students. Such areas are the Shantsi, Tsetsyno  and Slobidka and Rohizna microdistricts, which have a cottage type accommodations. In general, most of the community is within  walking accessibility. An important aspect of the location of GSEI is the availability indicator, which ranges 0.2 to 0.81. The average  rate of accessibility to GSEI in the Chernivtsi city territorial community is 0.65. It should be noted that in the community there is a  relevant problem of providing students with places in GSEI in those areas, where today the construction of new residential areas is  actively carried out, while educational institutions are not expanding and not being built.

Abstract. Mobile devices can be used in many areas such as shopping, entertainment and education. The number of mobile applications which provides information about a city or region, helps to find route by navigation and makes accommodation plans with food and beverage suggestions, is also increasing. Since these devices are portable and have access to internet, they emerges as a new and important potential for tourism sector. In particular, the increase in the use of route planning and navigation applications, which are location based services within the scope of Geographic Information Systems, has also affected the tourism sector. Which route planning and navigation applications are used extensively by tour operators, tourist guides and individual visitors ? What are the strengths and weaknesses about these applications? Answers to such questions were sought in this study.

The condition of transportation as one of the pillars of the movement of people from one place to another safely, comfortably, quickly, cheaply in accordance with the environment, with the increasing growth rate of motor vehicles (four-wheeled and two-wheeled) is not balanced with the physical road, so that more dense road transportation, especially in the city, with the socio-economic development of the community will affect parents who provide concessions to their children who have not met the age of driving a motor vehicle, especially two wheels. Thus it will affect the road traffic and will result in the occurrence of violations and accidents. The approach to be used is a normative juridical approach or statutory approach, namely research that examines laws relating to road traffic and transportation in accordance with Law No. 22/2009 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation. In addition to this approach, the authors also carried out a sociological approach which can empirically be known symptoms of changes in  community behavior towards social development in society related  to road users in Malang. Existence in legislation relating to road users in traffic  can  be obeyed  and minimize the occurrence  of violations, crime, safety and comfort, and accidents. Thus the violation of the law will be reduced and order will be well realized.

The article presents a description of approaches to evaluating the road traffic monitoring efficiency. The results of a comparative analysis of the efficiency and costs of road traffic monitoring are submitted using laboratory vehicles and geo-information data obtained from geo-information systems. Approaches to optimizing the processes of organizing traffic monitoring on the city road traffic network are proposed.
