The presence of the internet has brought new changes in communication behavior. In the real of the political use of the online media occurs by political leaders to construct their personal branding. Construction personal branding become part of political communication with a variety of functions, for political candidates, are expected to influence and attract voters. The purpose of this study is to analyze the construction of the personal branding of Joko Widodo as candidates for Indonesian President 2014-2019, through online medias by making use of news on online medias. Using content analysis method Hsieh & Shannon dengan pendekatan directed content analysis melalui prosedur induksi.. The research findings in the text indicate that Jokowi perform his personal branding construction.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk pelangaran dari pemberitaan” Pasien Positif Corona di Indonesia Bertambah Jadi 19 Orang” Adapun yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah media online “CNNI”. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Etika, Etika Komunikasi, Komunikasi massa, Jurnalistik, Kode Etik Jurnalistik dan berita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi (content analysis) kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menggambarkan aspek-aspek dan karakteristik dari suatu pesan, menggambarkan secara lengkap suatu pesan yang ada pada teks berita. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya pelanggaran Kode Etik Jurnalistik oleh portal berita CCN I dengan Headline” Pasien Positif Corona di Indonesia Bertambah Jadi 19 Orang”. Dengan masih adanya pelanggaran Kode Etik Jurnalistik oleh CNNI diharapkan agar lebih memperhatikan kesalahan-kesalahan dalam pemberitaannya. Lebih memperhatikan Kode Etik Jurnalistik dan objektivitas pemberitaan dalam hal memproduksi sebuah berita. Abstract This study aims to determine the form of violation of the news "Corona Positive Patients in Indonesia Increase to 19 People". The object of this research is the online media "CNNI". The theories used in this research are Ethics, Communication Ethics, Mass Communication, Journalism, Journalistic Code of Ethics, and news. This study uses a quantitative content analysis method with a descriptive approach to describe the aspects and characteristics of a message, fully describing a message in the news text. The results of this study indicate a violation of the Journalistic Code of Ethics by the CCNI news portal with the headline "Corona positive patients in Indonesia have increased to 19 people". With the ongoing violations of the Journalistic Code of Ethics by CNNI, it is hoped that they will pay more attention to errors in their reporting. Pay more attention to the Journalistic Code of Ethics and the objectivity of reporting in terms of producing news.

This article studies realisms in a short story entitled “Bulan Gendut di Tepi Gangsal” written by Wa Ode Wulan Ratna. The aim of this study is to know and to describe the characteristics in short story “Bulan Gendut di Tepi Gangsal” written by Wa Ode Wulan Ratna. The use of content analysis method focusing on the text of the short story explains the meaning of the content of symbolic interaction taking place during the communication in the story so that the content could be well understood. The research findings show that there are 8 characteristics of realism in a short story entitled “Bulan Gendut di Tepi Gangsal”.AbstrakTulisan ini mengkaji realisme dalam cerita pendek “Bulan Gendut di Tepi Gangsal” karya Wa Ode Wulan Ratna. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri aliran realisme yang terdapat dalam karya sastra Indonesia bergenre cerita pendek berjudul BGTG karya Wa Ode Wulan Ratna. Penggunaan metode analisis isi yang memberikan perhatian pada teks karya sastra menjelaskan makna isi interaksi simbolik yang terjadi dalam peristiwa komunikasi, sehingga dapat dipahami isi cerpen itu secara tepat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada tujuh karakteristik realisme dalam cerita pendek “Bulan Gendut di Tepi Gangsal”.

Ideally, an interpretation that uses the tahlili method in classical interpretation is comprehensive and can produce human problems. But in fact, the interpretation of this model does not touch human issues. Instead, it tends to be rigid and very fixated on the text. This study aims to determine the maudhu'i (thematic) method of Hassan Hanafi in his work al-Din wa al-Tsaurah. This study seeks to answer the orientation of the interpretation of the al-Qur'an Hassan Hanafi towards the people's revolutionary movement. By using the content analysis method, namely by analyzing and processing messages or a tool to observe and analyze the content of open communication behavior of the selected research object. The results showed that the characteristics of Hassan Hanafi's maudhu'i method could include the following: first, Hassan Hanafi's thematic interpretation was juz'iyyah (specific) not kuliyah (comprehensive); secondly, Hassan Hanafi's thematic interpretation is thematic, which more analyzes on certain themes which are closely related to humanity; third, Hassan Hanafi's thematic interpretation is temporal; fourth, Hassan Hanafi's thematic interpretation is realistic; Hassan Hanafi's five thematic interpretations are oriented towards specific meanings and not just rhetoric about letters and words; sixth, thematic experimental interpretation; seventh, thematic interpretations that pay attention to contemporary problems, eighth, this shows that the interpreter's social position has changed the pattern of interpretation.

The purpose of this study was to gather data from the mothers of children with Tourette Syndrome (TS), in order to examine the extent to which the existence of a child with TS in the family affected mothers’ Quality of Life (QOL). The research was conducted according to the qualitative methods. Data was collected from semistructures interviews with 50 mothers of children with TS. The interviews were analyzed using a content analysis method. Conclusions derived from the research findings found that lack of accurate diagnosis and information leaded mothers to a state of imbalance and great stress. When they were given accurate information, they seemed to be more able to advocate for the child with TS and thus preventmisunderstandings, and consequent unpleasant situations and confusion.

This research aimed to identify the form of arguments in online media articles using argument reconstruction. The data were argumentative texts written in online media article in 2017 in www.hipwee.com, malesbanget.com, and www.idntimes.com. The data studied were 44 paragraphs consisting of 150 sentences. The approach used was qualitative approach by using content analysis method. This research used the triangulation technique (combination). The simultaneous data collection was coupled with data credibility tests with various data collection techniques and sources. Meanwhile, means of documentation and content analysis techniques were done to collect the data. The results indicate that the often used reasonings in online media articles are the generalization in 11 paragraphs and categorical syllogism in 28 paragraphs. The results of this research can be used to find out and develop ways of writing online media articles for writers and readers of online media articles.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the actual online television and online media form of interactive transmission - interview-confrontation. On the basis of the analysis of the most popular programs based on this type of interview, we determine its genre identity, functional and compositional features, analyze the specifics of the questions. Relied on the content analysis method, the comparative-typological and historical-functional methods, conclusions are drawn about the widespread representation of interview confrontations both on traditional TV and in the sphere of network video blogging. It is emphasized that the peculiarity of the announcement of the topic in the interview is in focusing the negative attitude of the host to the position of the respondent, which is also reflected in the main part in confrontational, concretizing, programming, provocative and other forms of questions.

Makalah ini adalah untuk melihat falsafah pemikiran Hatta Azad Khan dalam Kumpulan Drama Dunia Belum Kiamat (2013). Fokus kajian ini ialah untuk mengenal pasti dan membincangkan falsafah dan pemikiran yang ingin diketengahkan oleh pengarang dalam kumpulan drama tersebut. Kumpulan Drama Dunia Belum Kiamat (2013) beraliran realisme dan mengandungi lima buah drama iaitu drama Awang, Anak Korporat, Dunia Belum Kiamat, Cermin Tipu Daya dan Puteri Gunung Ledang. Kaedah kajian yang digunakan ialah kaedah kepustakaan dan analisis kandungan. Kajian ini menggunapakai teori Sosiologi oleh J. Duvidnaud (1972) untuk mencapai dua objektif kajian. Pertama, untuk mengenal pasti falsafah dan pemikiran dalam Kumpulan Drama Dunia Belum Kiamat (2013) karya Hatta Azad Khan. Kedua, membincangkan falsafah dan pemikiran dalam Kumpulan Drama Dunia Belum Kiamat (2013) dari aspek sosial, politik dan ekonomi. Kajian ini menghasilkan dapatan kajian iaitu Kumpulan Drama Dunia Belum Kiamat (2013) karya Hatta Azad Khan merupakan sebuah kumpulan drama yang sarat dengan falsafah dan pemikiran. Falsafah dan pemikiran tersebut terdiri daripada pemikiran sosial, ekonomi dan politik. This research is intended to view the philosophical thoughts of Hatta Azad Khan in Kumpulan Drama Dunia Belum Kiamat (2013). This research is focusing on identifying and discussing the philosophy and the thoughts which had been highlighted by the author of the above mentioned drama’s group. The drama’s group is based on realism and it is comprised of five dramas which are Awang, Anak Korporat, Dunia Belum Kiamat, Cermin Tipu Daya dan Puteri Gunung Ledang.. The method used in this research was literature analysis and content analysis method. This study applied the Sociological Theory by J. Duvidnaud (1972) to achieve two objectives which were to identify and to discuss the philosophy and the perspectives in Kumpulan Drama Dunia Belum Kiamat (2013) by Hatta Azad Khan specifically in terms of social, economic and political aspect. Hence, the research findings showed that this group of drama was loaded philosophy perspectives that consist of social, economic and political thinking.

This chapter seeks to find out whether energy corporations that operate in Nigeria provide adequate information about their corporate social responsibility, and whether these programmes are available on their managed online media platforms. For this reason, the study investigates how two energy corporations have engaged the online newsletter platform to share information concerning their CSR performance. The research employs a content analysis method. The population of the study comprises all online newsletters published by these corporations from January 2013 to August 2014. There are recognized similarities and difference in their use of online newsletters to share information concerning their corporate social responsibility to their various stakeholders. The study recommended that ExxonMobil (Nigeria) and SPDC (Nigeria) should make an effort to be consistent in their online newsletter publication. SPDC (Nigeria) should de-emphasise the frightening account of oil theft and spillage and focus more on human capacity development of persons within their host communities.

Figurative language is a way to express ideas in written and oral production by involving feelings and soul. The present study focuses on describing (1) figurative language used by Ahmad Tohari in the novel Orang – Orang Proyek, (2) the most frequently used figurative language, and (3) the reasons of the use of figurative language in the novel. The design of the study was descriptive qualitative by employing content analysis method. The source of the data was the novel Orang – Orang Proyek. Fields notes were administered to collect the data including reducing data, coding the data as well as classifying the data. The research findings show that the kinds of figurative language used were (a) comparison, (b) contrast, (c) bond , and (d) repetition. Besides, Hyperbola was the most frequently used in the novel because Ahmad Tohari intended to convey moral values by presenting the story inside the novel, so it motivated people to give respects to the poor. AbstractThis study aims to determine the religious values contained in the text in the article entitled “Silaturahmi” which is published in the “Republika” online mass media in the “Khazanah Rubric”. These religious values are taught as part of the development of character education. Data is taken from article texts that contain good teaching values. This research is a qualitative research using content analysis method. Research data analysis techniques use triangulation. The research findings show that the religious values contained in the article entitled "Gathering" are twofold, namely the value of friendship and brotherhood. The value of friendship teaches someone to care for each other and help others or friends who are in trouble. While the value of brotherhood refers to the building of the character of belonging and togetherness. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai keagamaan yang terkandung didalam artikel berjudul ‘Silaturahmi’ ada dua, yaitu nilai persahabatan dan persaudaraan. Nilai persabatan mengajarkan pada seseorang untuk saling peduli dan membantu orang lain atau teman yang sedang kesulitan. Sedangkan pada nilai persaudaraan merujuk pada pembangunan karakter saling memiliki dan kebersamaan. Dari kedua nilai keagamaan tersebut mengajarkan pula pada pembaca bagaimana nilai persahabatan dan persaudaraan tersebut menjadi pedoman dalam bersilaturahmi dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat.Kata kunci: Nilai Keagamaan, Media Online, Artikel
