This research was motivated by the low level of dribble skills in the game of football in class VIII students of Budi Agung Private Junior High School, Medan. Based on this, the research objective was to determine the effect of playing methods on the dribbling ability of soccer games. The population and sample studied in this study were 30 students and the sample was taken using total sampling. This research is a field experiment research and the design of this study used a pre test post test group design. From the research results, it can be seen that the significance (0.010) is smaller than 0.05 and the t-test result (2.739) is greater than the t-table (0.3610), so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the playing method on the dribble ability of the game. football students of class VIII SMP Private Budi Agung Medan.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan pukulan lurus setelah diberikan penerapan latihan push-up dan latihan pull-up pada siswa estrakulikuler pencak silat di SMPN 1 Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen . Dengan sampel berjumlah 30 orang, dengan desain yang digunakan adalah pre test- pre test group design. Instrumen penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan pukulan lurus dengan menggunakan tes pukulan lurus olahraga pencak silat. Selisih rata-rata pree tes dan post tes menunjukan adanya perubahan signipikan dari latihan push-up dan latihan pull-up, dimana hasil rata-rata pre test  48,63 dan hasil rata-rata post test 52,8 dengan selisih 4,17. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian diperoleh thitung 12,26 jika dibandingkan dengan ttabel 1,699, maka nilai thitung  >  ttabel berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan push-up dan latiha pull-up terhadap kemampuan pukulan lurus siswa ekstrakulikuler di SMPN 1 Kota Bengkulu.Kata kunci : Push-up,Pull-up, Pukulan Lurus.Abstract This study aims to increase the straight punch after being given the application of push-up exercises and pull-up exercises to students in the pencak silat estruculicular at the Bengkulu 1 Junior High School. The method used in this research is the experimental method . With a sample of 30 people, the design used was pre-test pre-test group design. The instrument of this study was to determine the increase in straight blows using the straight punch test of pencak silat. The average difference in pree test and post test showed significant changes in push-up exercises and pull-up exercises, where the results of the pre test average were 48.63 and the post test results were 52.8 with a difference of 4.17. The data analysis technique uses the t test. The results obtained were 12.26 tcs when compared with ttable 1.699, then the tcount> ttable means that there is a significant effect of push-up exercises and pull-up exercise on the straight punch ability of extracurricular students at Bengkulu City 1 Junior High School. Keywords: Push-ups, Pull-ups, Straight Blows.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran 5E terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik kemampuan literasi sains berdasarkan kategori daya nalar siswa yaitu nominal, fungsional, konseptual/prosedural dan multidimensional. Penelitian ini tergolong eksperimen semu dengan pola Pre-Test dan Post-Test Group Design. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Kuripan tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Sampel kelas dipilih dengan teknik Purposive Sampling sehingga didapatkan kelas IX-A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IX-B sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan sampel berjumlah 50 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan literasi sains berupa soal uraian. Data kemampuan literasi sains dianalisis secara kualitatif dan dikatagorikan menjadi 4 yaitu katagori nominal, fungsional, konseptual/prosedural dan multidiminsional. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran 5E terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik berada pada 4 kategori  yaitu katagori nominal sebanyak  7,6%, fungsional sebanyak 26,9,  konceptual/prosedural sebanyak 53,8%  dan  multidiminsional  sebanyak 11,5% sedangkan pada kelas yang tidak menerapkan model pembelajaran 5E terintegrasi pendekatan saintifik berada pada 2  kategori yaitu katagori nominal sebanyak 70,8% dan katagori fungsional sebanyak 29,1%..Kata-kata Kunci: 5E, pendekatan saintifik, kemampuan literasi sains Abstract: The aim of this research is to know the effect of the 5E teaching model integrated scientific approach towards ability of science literacy based on category of nominal, functional, conceptual/procedural and multidimensional. This research is classified as quasi-experimental, with Pre-Test dan Post-Test Group Design. The population of this research were all the nine grade students of junior high school 1 Kuripan academic year 2016/2017. The class sample was taken by using purposive sampling in which IX-A became the experimental class and IX-B became the control class, with number of sample 50 students. The instruments that is used the data was ability of literacy science in form of essay. The date ability of literacy science was analyzed by using kualitative and  was category became 4 on on category of nominal, functional, conceptual/procedural and multidimensional. The result of research  showed the ability of literacy scince data showed that percentage of student implemetation  the 5E teaching model integrated scientific approach in the nominal 0f 7,6%, fungsional of 26,9%,  konceptual/prosedural of 53,8%  dan  multidiminsional  of ,5%, while the class not implemetation  the 5E teaching model integrated scientific approach in the nominal  category of 70,8% dan fungsional catagory of 29,1%.Keywords: 5E, scientific approach, ability of science literacy

The power of leg muscles plays a very important role in the sport of volleyball. Based on preliminary research conducted at Junior high school Negeri 5 Mengwi, it was found that the explosive power of volleyball extracurricular participants was still in the low category. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of jumping a 30 cm bar with a weight of 1 kg on the explosive power of the leg muscles. The research applied was experimental research using experimental research design randomize pre and post test group design. The pure sample in the study amounted to 34 people consisting of 17 people in the control group and 17 people in the treatment group. Based on the discussion, it was found that training to jump a bar as high as 30 cm with a load of 1 kg can increase the explosive power of the leg muscles by 8.80 cm or 20.91%. So it can be concluded that training to jump a bar as high as 30 cm with a load of 1 kg can increase the explosive power of the leg muscles.

This study aims to describe and compare the effectiveness of the application of STAD and TPS types in cooperative learning to the students. This study was a quasi-experiments research in which students were designed into a form of the experimental group (pre-test and post-test group designs), where the cooperative learning of STAD and TPS types will be applied in learning mathematics. The population in this study were junior high school students in Ternate, while samples were taken by 60 random students who had the same characteristics as the population. The result of the study shows that cooperative learning model of both STAD and TPS types are very effective to be applied on studying mathematics. However, between the STAD and TPS types of cooperative learning, the STAD types are more effective than TPS, seen from accomplishing standards of competence, mathematical communication skills, and mathematical thinking ability of Junior High School students.

The purposes of this research are to describe and compare the effectiveness of the imple mentation of scientific approach using problem based learning and learning cycle 5E model viewed from achievement spiritual attitudes, social attitudes, knowledge, and skills of students on polyhedral topic in Junior High School Grade VIII. This research is quasi experiment using nonequivalent (pre-test and post-test) group design. Population in this research are all of students grade VIII Junior High School 12 Padang. The sample was grade VIII4 and VIII5. The instruments used are questionnaires spiritual attitude and social attitude, knowledge and skill test. The results of the research are as follows the implementation of scientific approach with problem based learning and learning cycle 5E model is effective viewed from the achievement spiritual attitudes, social attitudes and knowledge of students, but not effective viewed from students skill, and there are no differences between the effectiveness of the implementation of scientific approach using problem based learning and learning cycle 5E model.

Based on observations made both in the form of observing the game and measuring the physical components, it was found that the volleyball extracurricular participants at Junior Hight School Negeri 2 Denpasar still experienced problems in changing positions. Changes in positions made by players tend to be slow in responding to the arrival of the ball so that the ball that should have been well anticipated becomes points for the opponent. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of star running training on body agility. This research is an experimental study with experimental research design randomize pre and post test group design. The total number of samples in this study amounted to 26 people, divided into treatment and control groups. Based on the paired t-test, it was found that the mean difference of increasing body agility in the treatment group was 2.08 seconds with a value (p<0.05). From the discussion, it was found that star running training increased the body agility of volleyball athletes at SMP Negeri 2 Denpasar with an increase of 13.84% with a value (p <0.05).

This research is aimed to improve knowledge, attitude, skill and appreciation of Nusantara Dances. It is conducted by Action Research method which is developed by Kemmis & McTaggart. The data were collected by questionnaire and analysed by Mix method which is developed by Creswell. The sample of this research is the 8th grade students of Public Junior High School 2 Kotabaru. Knowledge, attitude and skill of appreciation of Nusantara dances is important to be delivered to junior high school student as one of provision effort to nusantara culture, especially dances. The Learning of Nusantara Dances Appreciation is implemented through two cycles. Each cycle has four meetings. Before the intervention action of first cycle, there is a Pre-test. And then the final post test result of first Cycle shows that there is improvement result compared to the pre-test result. More over the post test result of second cycle is imporoved too compared to the post test result of the first cycle, even it has reached the set out target. In conclusion according to the result of the research, Blended learning model is effective to be used on improving the appreciation of Nusantara Dances. Thus, Art & Culture Teacher at school is suggested to use this blended learning model.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berorientasi model 4-D dan mengetahui hasil implementasi modul Fisika materi pokok gerak dengan menerapkan model pengajaran langsung dan model pembelajaran kooperatif, mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa, keterlaksanaan KBM, respon siswa, hasil belajar siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa Kelas VII SMP Laboratorium Unesa, dengan Pre-test and Posttest Group Design. Analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi aktivitas siswa yang paling tinggi adalah komponen mendiskusikan tugas pada pertemuan 1 27,2%, pertemuan 222,9%, pertemuan 3, frekuensi tertinggi adalah melakukan pengamatan, percobaan, atau bekerja sebesar 26,2%. Rata-rata kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran cenderung berkategori baik, dan respon siswa dinilai baik serta hasil belajar tuntas. Simpulan penelitian, implementasi modul Fisika SMP materi pokok gerak dengan menerapkan model pengajaran langsung dan model pembelajaran kooperatif dapat dikategorikan baik dan dapat menuntaskan hasil belajar.Kata-kata kunci: modul, pengajaran langsung, pembelajaran kooperatif.Abstract. This research aim to develop peripheral of study orient 4-D model and know result of implementation module Physics of SMP in the Subject of motion by applying direct instruction and cooperative learning, student activity, plan instruction, student response, result learn student. The subjects in this study are class VII students of SMP Laboratorium Unesa with Pre-Test Post-Test Group Design and data analysis descriptively is quantitative. Result of research indicate that highest student activity frequency is component discuss duty at meeting 1 27,2%, meeting 2 22,9%, meeting 3, highestfrequency is to conduct perception, attempt, or work equal to 26,2%. Mean ability of teacher in executing study tend to categorize goodness, and student response assessed goodness and also result of learning is complete. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan kualitatif sebagai pendekatannya. Dalam penelitian ini sampel terdiri dari 30 siswa di kelas VIII G dan 28 siswa di kelas VIII H. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan mengadakan Pre-test dan Post-test tentang kemampuan berpikir siswa pada materi sains SMP. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari 15 item Pre-test dan 15 pertanyaan Post-test yang telah disesuaikan menggunakan rubrik penilaian. Penelitian ini menyajikan hasil berupa tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah secara keseluruhan memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis lebih cepat daripada siswa yang belajar menggunakan metode ceramah. Tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas delapan terdistribusi normal, sehingga dapat dikatakan meningkat. Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim to determine the level of understanding of students in junior high school about science subjects. This research uses descriptive and qualitative methods as its consideration. In this study, the sample consisted of 30 students in class VIII G and 28 students in class VIII H. Data collection techniques with Pre-test and Post-test about students' thinking abilities on junior high school material. The research instrument consisted of 15 Pre-test items and 15 Post-test questions that had been adjusted using rubrics. This study presents the results of research on eighth-grade students. The results of the study showed students who used the problem-solving method to all participants who used the lecture method. The level of critical thinking skills in class of students is normally distributed so that it can be completed increased.

<p>This research aimed at developing, producing a valid and practical students’ workbook Realistic Mathematic Education Approach Based and facilitating student mathematic representing ability on Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables material.The method of this research was a <em>Research and Development</em> (R&amp;D) through the development of 4-D (<em>Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate</em>) Model.This research was administered at State Junior High School 2 Pasir Penyu.The subjects of this research were 29 students of class VIII 1, and the object was student mathematic workbook Realistic Mathematic Education Approach Based.The questionnaire tests of validity, practicality, and mathematic representing test. were the instruments of collecting data.It could be concluded that validity test result on student workbook Realistic Mathematic Education Approach Based on Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables material at State Junior High School 2 Pasir Penyu was on valid category (78.21%).It proved that the developed student workbook was avowed by validators because it accomplished all components, and it was a revised product.Practicality test result by students was avowed very practical (94.16%).Student mathematic workbook Realistic Mathematic Education Approach Based successfully facilitated student mathematic representing ability with the percentage of mastery level 82.5%.The result showed that Student mathematic workbook Realistic Mathematic Education Approach Based was valid, practical, and student mathematic representing ability.<strong></strong></p>
