This study aimed at investigating the effect of blended learning on the English-students’ speaking skills at SMAN 2 Patra Nusa Aceh Tamiang. Also, this study investigated students’ level differences of English-speaking skills of SMA Patra Nusa students. Twenty-five students of the eleventh-grade class were involved in this study. This study used a quasi-experimental with pre-experimental design. The instruments used in this study were observation and test (pretest and posttest). The results of data analysis showed that sig. 2-tailed = 0.000 < α (0.05), it means reject H0, accepted Ha. Finding obtained of pretest 77,04 and posttest 88,95. In conclusion, the mean pretest and posttest scores differ significantly. In other words, blended learning positively affects students speaking skills used in the media google classroom at SMA N 2 Patranusa.

The aim of this study to analyze students' English speaking skills in conducting taking orders procedure in restaurants.  This study is conducted in order to overcome the problems encountered by the students in speaking activities in taking orders. To measure the ability of students in speaking English in taking orders, the researchers observed the procedures that the students did not perform and measure the students’ competence of English language. Samples of this study are the fourth semester students in Hospitality courses Diploma Degree of Mataram Tourism Institute in Academic Year 2018/2019. The results of this study indicated that the level of completeness of the procedure in taking student orders in STP Mataram is in average. More than 50% students have conducted the appropriate procedure when taking orders in using English. From the result of data analysis in measuring the students’ competence in speaking English, the mean score is 78.90 with standard deviation is 12.14. From the result, it is converted and get score 3.1. The score showed that the ability of English students from 40 students in STP Mataram classified as Good Criteria.

Speaking is one of the problems which is faced by anyone who learn English. In this research, the implementation of classroom management in this case seating arrangement aimed to find out to what extent seating arrangement improve students’ speaking skills at the second semester students of English Department of Letters Faculty at Iqra Buru University. The participants of this research were the English speaking lecturer and 30 students of Iqra Buru University. This research employed quasi experimental design, which consist of two groups namely control group and experimental group. Control group were treated by implementing orderly rows seating arrangement while for experimental were treated by implementing circle seating arrangement. The data were collected by using two kinds of research instruments namely test and recorder. The data were analyzed by statistical analysis SPSS program, version 20.0.The result shows that the implementation of seating arrangement can improve students’ speaking skill in term of accuracy, fluency and comprehensibility. It is supported by the mean score of the students’ posttests (74.48) was higher than pretests (56.07). on the other hand, there is also significant correlation among accuracy, fluency and comprehensibility.

Public speaking has become an integral part of many professions and is at the center of career development opportunities. Therefore, the change in the education system from offline to online has led to new ideas in the implementation of public speaking learning, namely by using Instagram as a learning medium for collecting assignments intended to introduce or sell English language skills which are usually called Edupreneurship. That way, it is hoped that not only carry out learning and collect assignments but also something is obtained. However, learning still prioritizes output. Therefore, in this study, we refer to the personal branding theory. The purpose of this study is to determine how effective the use of Instagram is as a medium to promote English speaking skills, to find out the followers' responses regarding the skills possessed by English students, and also what was gained from promoting English speaking skills. The subjects in this study were students in the 5th semester. The number of respondents was 25 students. This research was conducted using data collection methods through Google forms. The results showed that Instagram provided effects and benefits to students, most of them stated that: (1) Students felt more confident in speaking English, (2) Students felt an improvement in their abilities, (3) Students felt more enthusiastic about positive comments and motivated by negative comments, (4) Students feel that Instagram is the right medium for promoting English speaking skills, (5) Students get input in the form of work.

Language is the ability to communicate with other people. One of the language skills that can be developed first is speaking skill. Speaking skills need to be optimized because they can affect the next child's life. There are various kinds of problems related to speaking skills including some children who have not been able to communicate the ideas in their minds, express their opinions, and have not dared to speak. In addition, the teaching methods used by teachers have an influence on children's interest in expressing their opinions. This study aims to determine the effect of the conversing method on the speaking skills of children aged 4-5 years. The quantitative approach was carried out using an experimental method of pre-experimental design, one group pretest, and post-test design. Subjects in this study as many as 17 children, data collection techniques using the method of observation and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test formula. The results showed that the method of speaking had an effect on children's speaking skills.

This study presents research about the effectiveness of debate method to improve students’ speaking skill to the students of second grade of exact of MA in Islamic Boarding School Al-JunaidiyahBiru Bone. In conducting the study, the researcher used quantitative method because the researcher conducted the data in form of numbers. And the way collected data by using pre-experimental design with pre-test and post-test and questionnaire. The purpose of this method was to carry out an experiment whether teaching speaking by using debate method if effective to the students’ speaking skill or not.  After the data was collected and the result of the test was obtained to prove the hypothesis and to establish the validity, the researcher analyzed the value of t-observation. It was proved by the result of students’ test. The table showed that the mean score obtained by the students in the post-test (2.470) was greater than the mean score of the students in pre-test (1.529). The data of score of interest through questionnaire indicated that eight students or 47.058% whose score were in very high, seven students or 41.176% whose score were in high, two students or 11.764% whose score were in moderate. Debate method gave better result to improve the students’ speaking skill. In other words, debate method was effective and interesting to use in teaching English speaking.

The using of technology had developed especially in education. Even though it was had a high technology, some of the teachers did not use it. In this case, this research was introduced a new application media in learning process and it is called Octaland 4D. This application is made by Octagon studio with purposing to give a benefit in education by using 4D flashcards. The research used an experimental design one group pre-test and post-test. The population in this research was the first-year kinesthetic students, in academic year 2017. The samples of this research were the first-year kinesthetic students. The technique of sampling used total sampling, the writer took all population the first-year kinesthetic students to be a sample and the data was analyzed into percentage, mean score analyzed and the value of the t-test. The result of the data analysis showed that the students’ achievement on the post-test was higher that on the pre-test. Moreover, based on the analysis the researcher found that the students speaking skill in English was increased significantly. This research gave a suggestion that using 4D flashcard as the media is a good way in learning process in speaking English.

<p><em>This study aims to explore a </em><em>PBL</em><em> model combined with the Edmodo platform on students' analytical thinking skills during a pandemic. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a control and experimental group.</em><em> </em><em>Participants in this study were students of class XI at SMA</em><em>N </em><em>1 Suboh Situbondo, each class consisting of 15 students. </em><em>D</em><em>ata collection was carried out after the application of the PBL model with blended learning assisted by Edmodo platform</em><em>.</em><em> </em><em>Data obtained from the results of the pretest</em><em>-</em><em>posttest </em><em>in </em><em>control and experimental </em><em>class</em><em> with analytical thinking skills</em><em> </em><em>questions.</em><em> Data analysis was carried out on the gainscore of students' analytical thinking skills </em><em>with the help of SPSS 24 for Windows</em><em>. The results showed that the gainscore in the experimental class was higher than the control class. Gainscore in the experimental class is 22.66 while in the control class is 14.66, thus there is a difference of 8 points. The results of data analysis in this research indicate the sig value of the independent sample t-test is 0.018 &lt;0.05. This means that there is an effect of the implementation of PBL with the Edmodo platform on students' analytical thinking skills during the new normal condition.</em></p>

Background: One way to stimulate oxytocin with lactation massage can be important and beneficial because it is known to improve relaxation, reduce pain and stress, and very many other health benefits. Lactation massage effectively accelerates recovery and improves hormonal balance. Levels of prolactin and oxytocin increase to facilitate breastfeeding.Method: This research method uses quasi experimental design with one-group pretest-postest design model. The provision of lactation massage training using lactation massage booklets. Skill information data collection using the list of points. Data analysis using paired t-test. Data is processed by using software in computer program Statistical Product and Service Solution ( SPSS) for windows to facilitate data calculation.Result: The results of the analysis using paired T-Test to find out the effect of lactation massage training with the media booklet on cadre skills in performing lactation massage obtained p value of 0.000 (p<0.05) means there is an influence of lactation massage training on cadre skills about lactation massage.Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of lactation massage training with media booklet on cadre skills in performing lactation massage.

English speaking skill is one of the most challenging skills that has to be taught by teachers, and there are many factors affecting students' low speaking proficiency. Hence, charades are implemented in this study. The purpose of this research is to study the improvement of English-speaking skills among college students through implementing Charades in the classroom. This study consists of two objectives. The first objective is to determine the effectiveness of charades in improving learners’ speaking skills, and the second objective is to investigate learners’ perception of charades. This study involves 18 students from Chenderoh Community College. Charades were implemented in their speaking lessons. This is single-group quasi-experimental research. Data was collected through pre and post-test and questionnaire. Speaking scores were analyzed through paired T-test. After the data analysis, there is a significant difference between pre and post-test. Students showed a positive perception of charades.

This study aims to investigate language teaching in the practice of English speaking skills through blended learning, utilizing Youtube as a media. Participants were 42 (males and female) in third semester students enrolled in the second year in Information Technology program, Serang Raya University. The method was classroom action research. Data collected through the procedure taken from the Kemmis Taggart model. Those were begun from planning, action, observation, and reflection. Meanwhile, the data analyzed based on the whole observation of the action on each circle and the result of questionnaires. The result shows that students were greatly motivated on practicing speaking skills.
