Language is the ability to communicate with other people. One of the language skills that can be developed first is speaking skill. Speaking skills need to be optimized because they can affect the next child's life. There are various kinds of problems related to speaking skills including some children who have not been able to communicate the ideas in their minds, express their opinions, and have not dared to speak. In addition, the teaching methods used by teachers have an influence on children's interest in expressing their opinions. This study aims to determine the effect of the conversing method on the speaking skills of children aged 4-5 years. The quantitative approach was carried out using an experimental method of pre-experimental design, one group pretest, and post-test design. Subjects in this study as many as 17 children, data collection techniques using the method of observation and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test formula. The results showed that the method of speaking had an effect on children's speaking skills.

This study aimed at investigating the effect of blended learning on the English-students’ speaking skills at SMAN 2 Patra Nusa Aceh Tamiang. Also, this study investigated students’ level differences of English-speaking skills of SMA Patra Nusa students. Twenty-five students of the eleventh-grade class were involved in this study. This study used a quasi-experimental with pre-experimental design. The instruments used in this study were observation and test (pretest and posttest). The results of data analysis showed that sig. 2-tailed = 0.000 < α (0.05), it means reject H0, accepted Ha. Finding obtained of pretest 77,04 and posttest 88,95. In conclusion, the mean pretest and posttest scores differ significantly. In other words, blended learning positively affects students speaking skills used in the media google classroom at SMA N 2 Patranusa.

This study aims to find out the effect of storytelling assisted by pop-up media to improve language skills and attitude of opinion in children aged 5-6 years. This study uses a quantitative pre-experimental research design with one group pre-test-post-test design without a control class. This research is conducted in TK Laboratorium UM, Malang City; with the population of the students of Class B. The data analysis used in this study includes normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. According to research and data analysis that has been carried out and the results obtained in this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between storytelling assisted by pop-up media to improve language skills and the attitude of opinion in early childhood. This reserch is a research and development with the aim of developing Contextual-Based Physics Module on Particle Dynamic to Improve Learning Achievement of Students Grade X of SMA Negeri 5 Jayapura. The total number samples of this research is 32 students of SMA Negeri 5 Jayapura grade X, using one group pre-test post-test design with percentage descriptive data analysis technique to know the feasibility of the module. The research shows that: 1) the development of module with collecting information phase through bibliography research and field research, product design includes draft writing, design validating, and product design  revising, and development phase consists of validating and trial, 2) the feasibility of the module compiled based on material validator resulted on average of 92% with feasible category and students response category of 88% with feasible category, 3) there is progress of achievement of studens grade X with learning using contextual-based physic module in particle dynamic with n-Gain RPP1 0,52, RPP2 0,58, RPP3 0,61, and the average is 0,57 medium category, and 4) the strengths of contextual-based physics module are: simple language used, providing material with contextual illustrations and examples, and equipped with guidance manual that eases the students to do individual learning

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Perbedaan hasil Latihan penguasaan Senam Poco-Poco Olahraga Menggunakan Metode Konvensional dan Instruksional Siswa Laki-Laki Dan Perempuan Di SDN 75 Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Sampel berjumlah 40 orang, dengan desain yang digunakan adalah two group Pre test-post test design. Instrumen penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Perbedaan Hasil Latihan Senam Poco-Poco Olahraga menggunakan metode konvensional dan instruksional siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji ANOVA. Hasil peneliti ini diperoleh f-hitung 38.70 lebih besar dari f-tabel 2.86, artinya ada perbedaan yang signifikan dari Hasil Latihan Senam Poco-Poco Olahraga Menggunakan Metode Konvensional dan Instruksional Siswa Laki-Laki Dan Perempuan Di SDN 75 Kota Bengkulu. Artinya dari kedua kelompok metode konvensional dan intruksional, metode intruksional adalah metode yang lebih baik. Pada kelompok metode konvensional dan intruksional siswa perempuan lebih baik dari pada siswa laki-laki. Siswa laki-laki metode intruksional lebih baik dari pada siswa laki-laki metode konvensional.Kata Kunci : Konvensional, Intruksional, Senam Poco-Poco OlahragaABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the difference results of exercise Poco-Poco Gymnastics Using Conventional Methods and Instructional Students Boys And Girls In SDN 75 Bengkulu City. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The sample is 40 people, with the design used is two group Pre test-post test design. The instrument of this research is to know the difference of Poco-Poco Gymnastic Exercise Result using conventional and instructional method of boys and girls students. Data analysis technique used ANOVA test. The result of this research is obtained f-count 38.70 bigger than f-table 2.86, meaning there is significant difference from Poco-Poco Sport Gymnastic Exercise Using Conventional and Instructional Method of Boys and Girls Students at SDN 75 Kota Bengkulu. This means that from both groups of conventional and intruksional methods, the intruksional method is the better method. In the group of conventional and instructional methods Girls students are better than Boys students. The researcher aims to find out the effectiveness using Treasure Hunt Game toward students’ vocabulary mastery with the research objectives: to find out the use of Treasure Hunt Gametowardthe first grade students’ vocabulary mastery at Islamic Senior High School of Muhammadiyah Palampang. This research was conducted at the class X MIA 1 and X MIA 2. The sample of this research was 50 students from 280 populations. The controled class was took from class X MIA 1, while the experimental class was from X MIA 2. The number of the sample in each class was 25 students.Quasi experimental design was applied in this research with two group pre-test and post-test design. The instrument used to collect data was vocabulary test.Research findings showed that the experimental class got score on pre-test with the mean score 44,2. After giving treatment the students got change, they got score with the mean score 59,9. The result of the data analysis indicated that there was a change of the students’ vocabulary mastery after being taught using Treasure Hunt Game. It was proved by the result of the statistical analysis of the level significance P = 0.05 with degree of freedom (df) = 48 indicated that the t-test values of the students’ vocabulary mastery (2,53) was higher than the t-table (2,01). Based on the result of analysis, the researcher concludes that using Treasure Hunt Game was effective toward the students’ vocabulary mastery at the first grade students of Islamic Senior High School of Muhammadiyah Palampang, because Treasure Hunt Game give a lot of fun, the students enjoy the learning without any preasure. Than, Treasure Hunt Game stimulates students engagement in learning process. If students enjoy the learning process, they were enthusiastic enough to involve and compete each other in learning process.Keywords: Treasure Hunt Game, Vocabulary mastery, First Grade Students

The using of technology had developed especially in education. Even though it was had a high technology, some of the teachers did not use it. In this case, this research was introduced a new application media in learning process and it is called Octaland 4D. This application is made by Octagon studio with purposing to give a benefit in education by using 4D flashcards. The research used an experimental design one group pre-test and post-test. The population in this research was the first-year kinesthetic students, in academic year 2017. The samples of this research were the first-year kinesthetic students. The technique of sampling used total sampling, the writer took all population the first-year kinesthetic students to be a sample and the data was analyzed into percentage, mean score analyzed and the value of the t-test. The result of the data analysis showed that the students’ achievement on the post-test was higher that on the pre-test. Moreover, based on the analysis the researcher found that the students speaking skill in English was increased significantly. This research gave a suggestion that using 4D flashcard as the media is a good way in learning process in speaking English.

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the Presentation, Practice, Production (PPP) method in developing students’ speaking skills at MA Al-khairaat luwuk. This research employed a pre-experimental research design involving one-group pre-test–post-test design. The independent variable of this research was Presentation, Practice, Production (PPP) method and the dependent variable was students’ speaking skills. The research population was eleventh-grade students of MA Al-khairaat Luwuk. There were two classes in this population namely one religion class consisted of 20 students and one science class consisted of 12 students. The sample of this research was the religion class. The test included pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed statistically. Having analyzed the data, the result revealed that the t-counted was (9.87) with a degree of freedom 19 and a significance level of 0.05, t-table was (1.72913). Therefore, the t-test result was higher than the t-table. It means that the hypothesis was accepted. In conclusion, the result showed that there was a significant effect using the Presentation, Practice, Production (PPP) method in developing students’ speaking skills at MA Al-khairaat Luwuk.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Effectiveness of Educational Comics on Prevention of Violence in Elementary School Children Penggilingan 09 Morning East Jakarta 2019. The research design used in this study was a pre-experimental design using the One Group Pre-Post-Test design, the sample in this study was 32 students taken using total sampling, the research instrument used a questionnaire, the data analysis used paired t test. The results showed that there were significant differences in the pretest and posttest after the educational comic intervention. There is a significant influence between the Effectiveness of Educational Comics on Prevention of Violence in State Elementary School Children before the intervention and after the intervention. It is expected that students will be more proactive in finding information about preventing violence in children so that they can apply the information obtained as well as possible

The major problems of this study are how to develop the students’ speaking skill dealing with accuracy, fluency and comprehensibility, and how to motivate the students to speak English so this research is conducted to find out weather of guessing game technique effective to improve the speaking skill of the seventh grade students of SMPN 3 Balusu. In this research the researcher apply quasi experimental method that apply a pre-test and post-test design. It involves two groups; the experimental group guessing game technique, as the control group Q&amp;A technique, lecturing way. Both of group are given pretest and posttest. The population is the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Balusu. It consists of three classes. The researcher uses cluster sampling in both class in this research. They consist 20 (twenty) students for experiment and 21 (twenty one) control group. The result of the data analysis showed that the students’ spreaking ability improved, it shows that the speaking ability of the seventh grade students of SMPN 3 Balusu improve through guessing game technique. Moreover, the response to questionnaire also shows that most of the students’ interest to the teaching guessing game uses in the classroom. In short, using guessing game in speaking is effective to improve the speaking ability of the seventh grade students of SMPN 3 Balusu.
