The movement let's build a madrasa (GERAMM) is a madrasa innovation program to improve quality towards a great and dignified madrasa. Among the GERAMM programs, one of them is the Madrasah Literacy Movement (GELEM) program with the aim of generating literacy activities in madrasah with the main target of teachers, principals, supervisors and students. The problem in this service is how to improve the quality of teachers in the field of writing scientific papers especially writing (a) research proposals, (b) reports of research results, and (c) scientific publications. The method used in this service is a workshop in which it is conducted with lectures, discussions and questions and answers. The results of the workshop were able to improve the ability of teachers in the field of scientific papers by 31% from the initial value before the workshop. The contribution of this service is to realize literacy programs in madrasas by equipping teachers with scientific writing skills, the GERAMM program is able to boost madrasa innovation towards superior madrasas.

Scientific writing plays a crucial role in determining the quality of students and universities. So far, the ability of students to establish scientific works is varied. Some students can produce scientific work in an APIK (Asli, Penting, Ilmiah, Konsisten) way which means Original, Important, Scientific, and Consistent), as well as in a "SMART" (Specific, Manageable, Acceptable, Realistic and Time-bound) way. However, some of them also encounter difficulties so they need assistance on a collaborative based scientific writing through Online Research Clinic (ORC) approach. Collaborative-based mentoring can build collegiality and collaboration among tutors, students, and UPBJJ-UT managers. Effective mentoring requires an ORC approach. An online research clinic is a place designed to help students who have difficulty writing scientific papers through clinical methods, starting from problem identification, diagnosis, prognosis, synthesis, treatment, reflection using internet / online network media such as website, email, WhatsApp, telegram, Google classroom, webinars, zoom and so on. Online Research Clinic is a solution to solve students' difficulties in writing scientific papers. The existence of ORC is an innovation to create independent learning in the digital era due to its flexibility and easy accessibility at all times both face-to-face and online. Besides, it is also used by tutors and managers to collaborate in providing consultation services to students. This study aims to analyze and synthesize the management model of scientific work mentoring with a proper online clinical research approach for UPJJB-UT Semarang students. The research method uses Research and Development. Data obtained from the results of scientific work mentoring, needs analysis, testing, and model validation. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews, documentation studies, observation, and FGD. The validity test uses model validation from experts and practitioners. The qualitative descriptive analysis uses data displays, data reduction, data verification, and conclusion. The results of the study conclude that the mentoring management model implemented so far was categorized as sufficient, still theoretical, and not practical yet. ORC assistance model is very important and needed because it is practical, effective, and efficient. The ORC mentoring model is very feasible so that it can be implemented to improve the quality of students in producing scientific papers for fulfilling assignments, requirements for completing study program, and scientific publications.

The Community Partnership Program (PKM) partners are teachers of SD Pangkep. The problems are: (1) lack of knowledge about scientific writing (2) lack of skills in writing scientific papers and, (3) teachers at SD Pangkep in carrying out their functions are required to be professionally. The external target is the process of compiling Scientific Writing. The methods used are: lectures, demonstrations, discussions, questions and answers, and companion partners. The results achieved are (1) partners have knowledge in the field of Scientific Writing, (2) partners have the skills to compile Scientific Writing and, (3) partners have the ability to increase knowledge of the ability to write Scientific Papers.

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the professionalism of senior high school teachers at SMAN 7 Mataram through Classroom Action Research (CAR). This training activity is intended for teachers at SMAN 7 Mataram. The implementation of activities is presented in a workshop approach through lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and simulations. The presentation includes material on CAR, data analysis in CAR accompanied by several examples of proposal drafts and scientific publications related to CAR. The very high motivation of the participants was seen during the implementation of community service activities, in addition to the very positive response of the participants with an enthusiasm level of 90% seen during the implementation of this community service. The level of teacher satisfaction is very high with this activity and they have high hopes that further activities will be held as assistance for CAR activities in schools and are able to produce scientific papers that are worthy of publication.

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Dewantara, Aceh utara. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan bagi guru-guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah, mengembangkan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kualitas penulisan artikel ilmiah, melatih guru untuk mempublikasikan artikel penelitian secara mandiri pada jurnal nasional berbasi OJS (Open Journal System). Kegiatan ini di dasari oleh permasalahan mitra yaitu: (1) Belum adanya pelatihan khusus untuk mendukung penulisan karya ilmiah berbasis riset. (2) Minimnya pengetahuan guru dan keterbatasan ide dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. (3) Guru masih mengalami kesulitan untuk mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah secara mandiri pada jurnal nasional. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu. Tahapan sosialisasi dan diskusi dilakukan melalui penyuluhan (pemaparan materi) tentang (1) Penulisan Artikel Ilmiah Berbasis Riset Bagi Guru dan Teknik Submission di Jurnal Nasional dan (2) Teknik Submission Artikel di Jurnal Nasional Berbasis OJS. Tahap kedua yaitu tahapan diskusi dimana pada tahap ini dilanjutkan dengan diskusi berupa tanya jawab antara pemateri dengan peserta. Tahap ketiga yaitu mempraktekkan bagaimana cara submit artikel ilmiah sesuai dengan target submission jurnal nasional berbasis OJS. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu semua peserta antusias mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan yang diberikan, hal ini terlihat dari para peserta yang menyimak dengan seksama materi yang disampaikan, dan mengajukan pertanyaan ketika ada kendala yang belum dipahami. Kata kunci: penulisan artikel lmiah; teknik submission ABSTRACTThis service activity was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Dewantara, North Aceh. The purpose of this service is to provide knowledge for teachers in writing scientific articles, develop knowledge and improve the quality of writing scientific articles, train teachers to publish research articles independently in national journals based on OJS (Open Journal System). This activity is based on partner problems, namely: (1) There is no special training to support the writing of research-based scientific papers. (2) The lack of teacher knowledge and limited ideas in writing scientific papers. (3) Teachers still have difficulty publishing scientific articles independently in national journals. The method of implementing the activity consists of 3 stages, namely. The stages of socialization and discussion are carried out through counseling (exposure to material) on (1) Research-Based Scientific Article Writing for Teachers and Submission Techniques in National Journals and (2) Article Submission Techniques in OJS-Based National Journals. The second stage is the discussion stage where at this stage it is followed by a discussion in the form of questions and answers between the presenter and the participants. The third stage is to practice how to submit scientific articles in accordance with the OJS-based national journal submission target. The results obtained are that all participants are enthusiastic about participating in the training activities provided, this can be seen from the participants who listen carefully to the material presented, and ask questions when there are obstacles that are not yet understood. Keywords: scientific article writing; submission techniques

Lecturers must have the ability to conduct research and write scientific papers. This is very important both for the sake of itself and the interests of the Higher Education. However, most lecturers are constrained in terms of writing scientific papers because they have to go through a complicated process and require good scientific writing skills. These obstacles hampered lecturers from fulfilling the requirements for promotion, and also led to stagnation in increasing competence in the field of research and development of scientific works. This problem also occurs in the Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP), Mataram University. Based on Sinta's data in 2019, the total number of scopus indexed article publications from FKIP Mataram University lecturers for 10 years was only an average of 4% of the total number of lecturers who published in international journals or seminars indexed on the indexer. The number of international publications is still low. Based on this, the FKIP Mataram University through the BP3MF Faculty of Research and Community Service Agency conducted training on article writing and publication techniques in international journals with the aim of improving the quality and quantity of research and community service carried out by lecturers. This is very necessary in order to improve the ability of lecturers in the field of research and development of scientific work at the FKIP, Mataram University. The method that will be used in this community service activity is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in the form of training and mentoring to improve the ability of lecturers to write scientifically. The activity will be carried out in three stages, namely: (1) the planning stage, (2) the observation stage, (3) the implementation stage, (4) the evaluation stage. The service activity presents material, lectures, and discussions in delivering material consisting of: article writing, lecturer scientific writing framework, international journal publication techniques and the use of tools for language translation. The output of this activity is that participants gain important knowledge about improving their scientific writing skills. In addition, participants also gained broader insight into journal publication procedures at the international level

Abstract: Writing is an activity to express ideas or ideas that are in someone's mind. everyone must have an idea or idea, but not everyone is able to write down these ideas. some even think that writing requires a high educational background. students, for example, because they are deemed to have taken higher education and are accused of writing from assignments given by the lecturer. The low number of writers in Indonesia means that scientific publications in Indonesia are still inadequate. In 2019, Indonesia succeeded in publishing the most scientific papers when compared to other ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. However, this figure is still insufficient, so that efforts are needed to increase the number and quality of good research writing. This activity aims to help make it happen. The target of this activity is students, both from public and private universities in Palembang City. The methods used in this PkM activity were material presentation, practical assistance, and discussion together. Based on the results of the questionnaire answers from 36 participants, the majority of participants agreed that this activity provided new knowledge and information in the topic of research writing. In addition, most of the participants also found this training interesting and made them excited to write a good research. So it can be concluded that the majority of students are not proficient in using Mendeley and Grammarly software and feel that both software can make writing their research easier.   Keywords: grammarly; mendeley; research; training; writingAbstrak: Menulis merupakan suatu kegiatan untuk mengungkapkan gagasan atau gagasan yang ada di benak seseorang. setiap orang pasti punya ide atau ide, tapi tidak semua orang mampu menuliskan ide-ide tersebut. bahkan ada yang beranggapan bahwa menulis membutuhkan latar belakang pendidikan yang tinggi. mahasiswa, misalnya, karena dianggap telah menempuh pendidikan tinggi dan dituduh menulis dari tugas-tugas yang diberikan dosen. Rendahnya jumlah penulis di Indonesia membuat publikasi ilmiah di Indonesia masih kurang mencukupi. Pada tahun 2019, Indonesia berhasil menerbitkan karya ilmiah terbanyak jika dibandingkan dengan negara ASEAN lainnya seperti Singapura, Malaysia, dan Thailand. Namun angka tersebut masih belum mencukupi, sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan jumlah dan kualitas penulisan penelitian yang baik. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu mewujudkannya. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah para mahasiswa, baik dari perguruan tinggi negeri maupun perguruan tinggi swasta di Kota Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PkM ini adalah Pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil jawaban kuisioner dari 36 peserta, mayoritas peserta sepakat bahwa kegiatan ini memberikan pengetahuan dan informasi baru dalam topik penulisan penelitian. Selain itu, sebagian besar peserta juga menganggap pelatihan ini menarik dan membuat mereka bersemangat untuk menulis penelitian dengan baik. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa belum mahir menggunakan software Mendeley dan Grammarly dan merasakan bahwa kedua software tersebut dapat mempermudah penulisan riset mereka.Kata kunci: grammarly; mendeley; pelatihan; penulisan; riset

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve the motivation of Scientific Writing on PGMI student UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The type of research used is action research. Subjects in this study as many as 36 students semester 1 Year 2017. Data collected by observation, interviews, and documentation using data analysis techniques descriptive qualitative. The results showed that with Scientific Publications in Mass Media in Scientific Writing course can improve writing motivation, as evidenced by the observations made have achieved 75% success indicator. In the 1st cycle of the meeting 1 enthusiastic aspect of 62%, the aspect of defining the topic or title 57% aspects of editing, shooting, punctuation based, sentence structure by 55%, systematic aspects 56%, and aspects of publishing scientific papers by 55%. on the 2nd cycle of meeting 2, the enthusiasm aspect is 82%, the aspect determines the topic or title 80,83% aspect of editing, punctuation based, sentence structure 80,15%, systematic aspect 80,16%, and aspect publish scientific paper by 90%. The results of this study show that with the publication in mass media in the subjects of Scientific Writing can improve the motivation of writing to students PGMI UIN Raden Fatah Palembang.Keyword: Implementation, Of Scientific Writing, StudentsAbstrak: Tujuan dalam Pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi Menulis Ilmiah pada mahasiswa PGMI UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Jenis Pelatihan yang digunakan yaitu Pelatihan tindakan. Subjek dalam Pelatihan ini sebanyak 36 orang mahasiswa semester 1 Tahun ajaran 2017. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan teknik analisa data secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil Pelatihan menunjukan bahwa dengan Publikasi Ilmiah di Media Massa dalam Pelatihan Karya Tulis Ilmiah dapat meningkatkan Motivasi menulis, terbukti dengan pengamatan yang dilakukan telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan 75%. Pada siklus 1 pertemuan 1 aspek antusias sebesar 62%, aspek menentukan topik atau judul 57% aspek mengedit, berdasarkan tanda baca, struktur kalimat sebesar 55%, aspek sistematis 56%, dan aspek mempublikasikan tulisan ilmiah sebesar 55%. pada siklus 2 pertemuan 2, aspek antusias sebesar 82%, aspek menentukan topik atau judul 80,83% aspek mengedit, menyuting, berdasarkan tanda baca, struktur kalimat sebesar 80,15%, aspek sistematis 80,16%, dan aspek mempublikasikan tulisan ilmiah sebesar 90%. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang peningkatan keterampilan menulis makalah melalui lesson study pada mahasiswa Program Studi PGSD FKIP Untan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus.Setiap siklus dilaksanakan empat kali pertemuan. Data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh melalui lembar wawancara, kuesioner, dan lembar pengamatan. Data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil tes menulis makalah. Sumber data dalam penelitian adalah peristiwa pembelajaran menulis makalah melalui lesson study mahasiswa Program Studi PGSD FKIP Untan. Hasil penektian menunjukkan data awal nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis makalah mahasiswa adalah 158,6 (kategori kurang). Setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran dengan lesson study di siklus I, nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis makalah meningkat menjadi 298,8 (kategori baik). Pada siklus II, nilai nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis makalah mengalami peningkatan lagi menjadi 341,8 (kategori sangat baik). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan lesson study dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karya ilmiah mahasiswa PGSD FKIP Untan. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan menulis, karya ilmiah, lesson study Abstract This research aims to find a deep understanding of the improvement of scientific writing skills through lesson study on students of PGSD FKIP Untan. This research usesan action researchapproach in twocycles. The data in this research was divided into two, namely quantitative and qualitative. The qualitative data wereobtainedthrough interview, questionnaires, and observation sheets. The quantitative data wereobtained from the results of scientific writing test. The data in this research were the scientific writing learning through lesson study on the students of PGSD FKIP Untan. The results showed that the initial average score of students paper writing skill was 158.6 (average category). After learning through the lesson study in the first cycle, the average score of writing skills improved to 298.8 (good category). In the second cycle, the average score of paper writing skills also improved to 341.8 (very good category). The result indicates that the use of lesson study in learning can improve the scientific papers writing skills of PGSD students of FKIP Untan. The purpose of community service this time is first, helping the teacher's difficulties in writing scientific articles compiled from the results of Class Action Research (PTK) that has been done. Many results are obtained in teacher PTK and need to be published in order to be a reference for teachers and other educators. Second, for the promotion and class of teachers who have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Second, scientific articles written by teachers can be used for submissions for promotions and classes of teachers that have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Both candies require the calculation of the credit number of functional positions of teachers for the affairs of promotion and class. One of the credit figures is obtained from scientific publications. The target of this community service activity is to help teachers to hone their skills in terms of writing scientific articles and providing assistance / clinical scientific articles until published in the intended journal. The implementation of this activity is scheduled for three months, starting from: (1) giving material, (2) introducing and providing examples of scientific articles that have been published in national and international journals, (3) accompanying teachers in writing scientific papers compiled from the results of PTK, (4) helping teachers to assess the extent to which their scientific writing is worth publishing, and (5) helping to give directions to which journals will be intended to publish their work

The Republic

The article analyses the publication activity in the Republic of Uzbekistan during the years of independence. A background has been given to the collection of funds for academic libraries until 1991, in the early 90s and over the past decades, where the dynamics of changes in the number of scientific publications in universities is traced. An analysis is given of the reasons for the decline in interest in scientific research, the publication of scientific papers in high-ranking journals, as well as trends in solving these problems in the country. The results of analytical studies of data from information systems Scopus and Web of Science are presented. The factors that most influence the quality of teaching and research are highlighted. The authors of the article expound their personal experience in conducting seminars, trainings, and master classes at universities in Uzbekistan. The article presents a training program for doctoral students, teachers and researchers on the use of world electronic information resources of leading publishers, as well as an analysis of their effectiveness. Information is also given on the reforms carried out in the country in recent years in the field of supporting libraries and scientific research, which have contributed to increasing publication activity.
