ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Dewantara, Aceh utara. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan bagi guru-guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah, mengembangkan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kualitas penulisan artikel ilmiah, melatih guru untuk mempublikasikan artikel penelitian secara mandiri pada jurnal nasional berbasi OJS (Open Journal System). Kegiatan ini di dasari oleh permasalahan mitra yaitu: (1) Belum adanya pelatihan khusus untuk mendukung penulisan karya ilmiah berbasis riset. (2) Minimnya pengetahuan guru dan keterbatasan ide dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. (3) Guru masih mengalami kesulitan untuk mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah secara mandiri pada jurnal nasional. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu. Tahapan sosialisasi dan diskusi dilakukan melalui penyuluhan (pemaparan materi) tentang (1) Penulisan Artikel Ilmiah Berbasis Riset Bagi Guru dan Teknik Submission di Jurnal Nasional dan (2) Teknik Submission Artikel di Jurnal Nasional Berbasis OJS. Tahap kedua yaitu tahapan diskusi dimana pada tahap ini dilanjutkan dengan diskusi berupa tanya jawab antara pemateri dengan peserta. Tahap ketiga yaitu mempraktekkan bagaimana cara submit artikel ilmiah sesuai dengan target submission jurnal nasional berbasis OJS. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu semua peserta antusias mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan yang diberikan, hal ini terlihat dari para peserta yang menyimak dengan seksama materi yang disampaikan, dan mengajukan pertanyaan ketika ada kendala yang belum dipahami. Kata kunci: penulisan artikel lmiah; teknik submission ABSTRACTThis service activity was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Dewantara, North Aceh. The purpose of this service is to provide knowledge for teachers in writing scientific articles, develop knowledge and improve the quality of writing scientific articles, train teachers to publish research articles independently in national journals based on OJS (Open Journal System). This activity is based on partner problems, namely: (1) There is no special training to support the writing of research-based scientific papers. (2) The lack of teacher knowledge and limited ideas in writing scientific papers. (3) Teachers still have difficulty publishing scientific articles independently in national journals. The method of implementing the activity consists of 3 stages, namely. The stages of socialization and discussion are carried out through counseling (exposure to material) on (1) Research-Based Scientific Article Writing for Teachers and Submission Techniques in National Journals and (2) Article Submission Techniques in OJS-Based National Journals. The second stage is the discussion stage where at this stage it is followed by a discussion in the form of questions and answers between the presenter and the participants. The third stage is to practice how to submit scientific articles in accordance with the OJS-based national journal submission target. The results obtained are that all participants are enthusiastic about participating in the training activities provided, this can be seen from the participants who listen carefully to the material presented, and ask questions when there are obstacles that are not yet understood. Keywords: scientific article writing; submission techniques

Purpose: This community service activity aimed to improve the skills or knowledge of lecturers in writing scientific papers as an urgent need in the academic world. Method: The coaching and training were conducted to lecturers/partners of the Kadesi Yogyakarta Theological College. The method used was coaching and training in scientific article writing. Results: The results of this activity showed that there was an increase of about 70% after coaching and training were carried out using the lecture, question, and answer, discussion, and simulation methods. It can be seen from the enthusiasm of the partners when making the article outline. Conclusion: Coaching and training activities for writing scientific articles have a very positive impact on partners in fostering interest in writing scientific papers in online journals. Kewajiban untuk menulis karya ilmiah bagi guru mendorong pentingnya penguasaan reference management software agar kualitas sitasi dan daftar rujukan dalam karya ilmiah sesuai dengan format yang diinginkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi guru SMKN 6 Malang tentang reference management software Zotero dan EndNote. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan selama dua hari. Selain itu, dilakukan juga survey tentang persepsi pelatihan tentang reference management software dan operasionalnya sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Selain itu, survey juga berisikan tentang persepsi peserta pelatihan terhadap penyampaian materi pelatihan. Dari hasil survey, diketahui mayoritas peserta pelatihan belum memahami reference management software dan pengoperasiannya. Setelah pelatihan, mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa Zotero lebih mudah untuk digunakan dibandingkan dengan End-Note. Mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa kedua reference management software yang diajarkan, baik Zotero maupun End-Note, mudah untuk digunakan dalam menulis sitasi dan daftar pustaka. Hasil survey juga menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta pelatihan menyatakan tingkat penguasaan materi baik dan cara penyampaian materi oleh penyaji menarik serta interaksi penyaji dan peserta baik.Kata kunci: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Sitasi.AbstractThe obligation to write scientific papers for teachers encourages the importance of mastering reference management software so that the quality of citations and reference lists in scientific papers are in accordance with the desired format. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for teachers of SMKN 6 Malang about Zotero and EndNote reference management software. The workshop activities were carried out for two days. In addition, a survey of the workshop participant about reference management software and operations was also conducted before and after the workshop. The survey also contained perceptions of workshop participants regarding the delivery of training materials. From the survey results, it is known that the majority of workshop participants did not understand the reference management software and its operation before attending the workshop. After the workshop, most of the participants perceived that Zotero was easier to use compared to End-Note. Most of the participants also perceived that the two reference management software taught, both Zotero and End-Note, were easy to use in writing citations and references. The survey results also showed that the majority of participants stated that the level of mastery of the material was good and the way the material was presented by the presenters was interesting and the interaction between presenters and participants was good.Keywords: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Citation.

Seedling production is a critical step in the establishment of vegetables. This work aimed to evaluate the effect of different spectral qualities on the germination and vigor of endive, lettuce, and chicory seeds. The experiment was carried out in three stages. The first stage, two cultivars of lettuce (‘Crespa Repolhuda’ and ‘Vera’) and six spectral qualities (blue LED, red LED, blue + red LED, white LED, fluorescent and dark) were evaluated; the second stage, two cultivars of chicory (‘Lisa Escarola’ and ‘Palla Rosa’) and the same spectral qualities were evaluated. In the third stage, the spectral quality of the endive cultivar ‘Pão de Açúcar’ was evaluated. The experiments were performed in a completely randomized design, with four replications of 50 seeds each. The evaluated parameters were: germination percentage, first count, germination speed index, seedling length, and fresh and dry mass. Endive, lettuce and chicory seeds germinated both in the presence or not of light so that they can be classified as neutral photos. A spectral LED of red quality fostered the development of the most significant volume of fresh mass on the endive, lettuce, and chicory. All the spectral qualities stimulated root growth. The dark, on the other hand, promoted the most significant length of the aerial part, promoting seedlings etiolation.

ABSTRAK Penerapan kebijakan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) oleh pemerintah  Indonesia berdampak besar terhadap penurunan kegiatan ekonomi di masyarakat.Hal tersebut memberikan pengaruh kepada sejumlah pengusaha terpaksa membuat keputusan dengan menutup usahanya dan sebagian karyawannya dirumahkan atau melakukan pemutusan hubungan kerja karena beban operasional yang tetap berjalan, seperti biaya sewa tempat, listrik, maupun gaji karyawan sementara tidak ada pemasukan. Bagi pengusaha yang memiliki modal yang besar, kemungkinan masih bisa bertahan untuk beberapa waktu ke depan. Namun lain halnya bila pengusaha yang memiliki modal yang relatif kecil atau pas-pasan. Tentu menjadi pekerjaan rumah yang tidak mudah untuk bertahan. UMKM merupakan salah satu sector yang terimbas dari adanya Pemabatasan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, Universitas Bunda Mulia melalui program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini, membantu para penggiat UMKM di Desa Cadas Ngampar untuk dapat bangkit dan berinovasi dalam menjalankan usahanya. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk melatih kemampuan berwirausaha masyarakat di desa cadas ngampar.  Beberapa paparan materi yang disampaikan dalam PKM ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas UMKM warga lokal dan meningkatkan lagi perekonomian di Desa Cadas Ngampar. Setelah melakukan penyuluhan dengan pemaparan materi dari masing-masing dosen maka hasil yang di dapatkan berdasarkan intensitas tanya jawab yang muncul, kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman serta keterampilan peserta dalam kewirausahaan, dapat mengetahui manfaat-manfaat dari materi yang disampaikan, dan adanya tambahan motivasi dalam berwirausaha. Kata Kunci: Kewirausahaan, Pemasaran, Higiene dan Sanitasi ABSTRACTThe implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restriction (PSBB) policy by the Indonesian government has had a major impact on the decline in economic activity in the community. Of course, being homework that is not easy to survive. MSMEs are one of the sectors affected by these restrictions. Therefore, Universitas Bunda Mulia through this Community Service (PKM) program, helps MSME activists in Cadas Ngampar Village to be able to rise and innovate in running their business. The purpose of this community service activity is to train community entrepreneurship skills in the village of rock ngampar. Some of the material presentations presented in this PKM are expected to improve the quality of local MSMEs and improve the economy in Cadas Ngampar Village. Counselors as an educator qualification are required to continuously improve and develop academic qualifications and competencies. Professional development is carried out with a variety of things including writing scientific papers. This activity is conducted to provide training of school counselors to write the results of research that has been done, specifically with regard to making scientific articles that are ready to be submitted in reputable national and international journals. The subjects of this service are all Pamekasan school counselors. The method of implementing scientific article writing training activities for Pamekasan counselors is carried out through 3 stages, namely problem identification, implementation and evaluation. Data collection by qualitatively using analysis of interview results and observations of the participants in the activity. Training results show, after participating in this training activity, school counselors in Pamekasan have gained insight, knowledge and skills about writing scientific articles. This training has helped alleviate the workload of school counselors, especially related to scientific publication obligations

The sub-district office is a government institution that uses letter media in delivering information or activities carried out to support government programs. Writing official letters is one of the activities in administration that can help smooth the activities of the administration. Therefore, writing official letters is very important to be understood by all sub-district office employees to support the administrative work process. The purpose of this service activity is to find out the understanding of writing official letters of the Gunungtanjung District Office of Tasikmalaya District and to find out an increase in understanding of writing official letters of the Gunungtanjung District Office in Tasikmalaya District. The implementation of Community Service activities is packaged using a workshop approach. The activity was carried out using the method of lecture, discussion and practice. The achievement of the training activities was the increasingly motivated sub-district office staff to improve their competence and professionalism in writing official letters. The quality of official letters that have been produced by employees of the Gunungtanjung District Office in Tasikmalaya Regency has also increased as explained below. 20 official letters with very good categories, 7 official letters with good categories, and 3 official letters classified as sufficient (score <70). The training activities benefited the participants and were expected to improve the quality of services in the Gunungtanjung District Office in Tasikmalaya Regency.Keywords: official letter, sub-district employee.�ABSTRAK�Kantor kecamatan merupakan lembaga pemerintah yang menggunakan media surat dalam menyampaikan informasi atau kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan guna mendukung program pemerintah. Penulisan surat dinas merupakan salah satu kegiatan dalam administrasi yang dapat membantu kelancaran aktivitas bidang administrasi. Oleh karena itu, penulisan surat dinas sangat penting dipahami oleh semua pegawai kantor kecamatan untuk mendukung proses kerja administrasi. Adapun tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pemahaman penulisan surat dinas pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Gunungtanjung Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman penulisan surat dinas pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Gunungtanjung Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini dikemas dengan menggunakan pendekatan workshop. Kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan latihan. Pencapaian� dari kegiatan pelatihan ialah semakin termotivasinya para pegawai kantor kecamatan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan profesionalitasnya dalam penulisan surat dinas. Kualitas surat dinas yang telah dihasilkan oleh para pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Gunungtanjung Kabupaten Tasikmalaya juga mengalami peningkatan sebagaimana uraian berikut. 20 surat dinas dengan kategori sangat baik, 7 surat dinas dengan kategori baik, dan 3 surat dinas tergolong katerori cukup (skor < 70). Kegiatan pelatihan dirasakan manfaatnya oleh para peserta dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan di Kantor Kecamatan Gunungtanjung Kabupaten Tasikmalaya.

The purpose of this training was the preparation of scientific writing and assistance in the practice of writing a research paper. The output will be in the form of a proposal and a draft report. This training activity was carried out for a month, In the first session, trainees were given different materials and assignments for writing scientific papers. In the second stage, participants were required to write scientific papers using mentoring, participatory, and guided methods. In the third stage, participants collected their assignments followed by discussions involving all personnel and training participants. This community service was carried out for sixth-semester students who were also studying their research papers at STAI Auliaurrasyidin Tembilahan.

Scientific articles are scientific papers from research results communicated in scientific publications, such as journals, magazines, or other publications. Librarians as functional personnel are required to make a positive contribution to the nation's change, one of which is to produce scientific papers published in scientific publications. The community service activities aim to provide understanding, improve and provide the ability to compile research results and the ability to write scientific articles to librarians in Pekanbaru. The method used in this activity is in the form of workshops delivered with lecture techniques, question and answer, and practice. To find out the extent of participants' acceptance and understanding, as well as the ability of participants, at the beginning and end of the training an evaluation or evaluation is carried out by filling in the pretest and post-test sheets. Based on the results of the tests that have been conducted, it is known that the participants experienced an increase after training in writing scientific articles. On the understanding of the concept of scientific articles increased by 30.75%, while the ability of strategies and scientific article writing techniques increased by 29.64%. in the training participants were very enthusiastic and active in participating in training activities writing scientific articles from beginning to end.

Document classification (DC) is one of the broadly investigated natural language processing tasks. Medical document classification can support doctors in making decision and improve medical services. Since the data in document classification often appear in raw form such as medical discharge notes, extracting meaningful information to use as features is a challenging task. There are many specialized words and expressions in medical documents which make them more challenging to analyze. The classification accuracy of available methods in medical field is not good enough. This work aims to improve the quality of the input feature sets to increase the accuracy. A new three-stage approach is proposed. In the first stage, the Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) which is a medical-specific dictionary is used to extract the meaningful phrases by considering disease or symptom concepts. In the second stage, all the possible pairs of the extracted concepts are created as new features. In the third stage, Particle Swarm Optimisation (PSO) is employed to select features from the extracted and constructed features in the previous stages. The experimental results show that the proposed three-stage method achieved substantial improvement over the existing medical DC approaches.
