Currently, there is a trend of digital information processing in electronic weapons systems and military equipment. Software-controlled means of communication are being implemented. This requires new approaches in diagnosing them during maintenance, which are significantly different from the process of finding defects in analog tools. Particular attention is paid to the introduction of modern advances in technical diagnostics and metrology. The possibility of using special methods for assessing the technical condition of digital devices (energy-static, energy-dynamic, electromagnetic), both separately and in combination. This slightly increases the average recovery time, but significantly affects the achievement of the required value of a comprehensive indicator of product reliability - its readiness factor. For the first time, the possibility of classifying electronic systems as "absolutely reliable" due to the peculiarities of metrological and diagnostic software is considered. The influence of controlled variables on the value of the product readiness factor is investigated. Depending on the operating conditions of the repair body, the permissible values for the qualification of specialists (average time of inspection and troubleshooting), as well as for the metrological reliability of measuring equipment are justified. According to the results of research, an algorithm for providing the necessary values of reliability indicators of products, both during their design and during operation and recovery in military conditions. It is shown that the greatest influence on the value of the reliability of products has the training of specialists of the repair body, their ability to fully use the capabilities of modern measuring equipment. The article considers the possibility of using methods for diagnosing digital electronic systems and provides an assessment of the quality of diagnostic software for the reliability of systems as a whole.

The article discusses the approach to the implementation and use of an expert system for servicing passenger cars using the example of Mercedes cars. After analyzing the development of trends in artificial intelligence, we came to the conclusion that one of the main directions in this area is real-time expert systems. The direction of expert systems is the development of programs that, when solving difficult tasks for a human expert, obtain results that are not inferior in quality and efficiency of solutions obtained by an expert. This approach allows you to create almost any online diagnostic complexes faster than using traditional methods. An important direction in the automotive industry is an accurate and reliable forecast assessment of the main indicators of reliability and serviceability of the car as a whole. Technical diagnostics is an integral part of the technological processes of acceptance, maintenance and repair of vehicles at service stations and is a process of determining the technical condition of the object of diagnosis with a certain accuracy. Purpose of the work: to reveal the essence of the expert approach at the present stage of development of diagnostic systems when servicing passenger cars. The theme of the work is revealed by the example of a modern diagnostic complex with elements of an expert system for diagnosing Mercedes cars. In particular, the work of Star Diagnosis software, which ensures the success of car diagnostics, is considered. A complex, a service specialist, or an expert system has the ability to analyze the condition of the car, the severity of the malfunction, and select methods for repairing the car without having a car at the service station. Ultimately, based on the development of electronic systems and the number of executing elements of various control units in the car, if possible, output a huge amount of information that we can use when servicing it, we can conclude that today the prospect of the development of expert methods and means of diagnosing cars using expert systems is very promising.

The purpose of the article is to quantify the impact of the quality of metrological and diagnostic software on the formation of the sequence and limit the number of inspections during maintenance of complex electronic systems, including modern means of communication with digital information processing. As a result of the analysis of the existing system of maintenance the advantages of service of products on a condition are established. In this case, to determine the sequence of inspections do not fully take into account the properties of metrological and diagnostic software. Results of the research. In the article the quantitative estimation of influence of the metrology and diagnostic providing is first considered and got on the indexes of quality of technical maintenance of communication means. It is shown that most influence in a time of implementation of technical service and probability of determination here of the technical state render the diagnostic providing of works with the use of the modern metrology providing. It is also shown that on the value of indexes of quality of technical service preparation of specialists and technological equipment of repair organ influence substantially, abilities of performers in full to use possibilities of modern facilities of measuring technique. Conclusion. The got results it is expedient to draw on at the improvement of existing or creation of new instructions of technical service on the state perspective communication or other difficult wares of the radio electronic systems means.

The article highlights the main aspects and features of the algorithm of aviation equipment operation "condition-based" with the use of ground technical means of control and on-board measuring systems and the formation of decision- making principles for further operation of aircraft. To develop methods of technical diagnostics of any technical equipment, it is necessary to identify which parameters characterize its condition and reliability as well as to establish diagnostic criteria and limit values of the controlled parameters. Depending on the nature of the parameters being controlled, there are parametric and physical methods of diagnostics. Based on the results of the diagnostics, we must get a straight answer: whether or not it is necessary to perform repairs or maintenance of the equipment being tested, taking into account the ensuring of failure-free operation before the next diagnostics. Currently, a large number of different measuring equipment that can measure signals that meet the parameters of the object of control and diagnostics are successfully used to objectively determine the technical condition of aircraft. The use of the laboratory for technical diagnostics of aviation equipment in conjunction with on-board measuring systems will provide an opportunity to make a quality technical diagnostics and reasonable conclusion to decide on further operation of the sample of aviation equipment. The use of mentioned laboratory will also predict the occurrence of failures of aviation equipment systems and units. Only a comprehensive approach to the technical diagnostics of aviation equipment with employment of all means of technical control (ground, on-board) will prevent sudden failures of aviation equipment systems.

Water fittings are an integral part of the internal water supply system. The reliability of their work under operating conditions largely influence on the continuity of water supply to the population. The reliability indicators of sanitary fittings allow the services responsible for the technical condition of the indoor water supply of houses to pay priority attention to the factors that determine the uninterrupted water supply of the population and reduce the loss of drinking water. In this study, the results of indicators of operational reliability of faucets for sinks in kitchens and washbasins in toilet rooms of apartments of multi-store residential buildings in a residential neighborhood are presented. The study was performed based on the analysis of records in the logs of data on valve failures for 2016-2018. The main malfunctions are established, the random coincidence of which leads to failures. The reliability of sanitary fittings is affected not only by their structure and the characteristics of the materials, as well as by the exploitation conditions. The probability of failure-free operation of sanitary fittings in exploitation conditions for a time not exceeding the duration of the reduction of water supply to consumers in residential buildings is the basic parameter of its reliability.

The basic task of any prosperous company is to minimize operating costs to a minimum. High-quality maintenance ensures an increase in the operational reliability of the machines. It is important to find a compromise between scheduled maintenance and production process requirements, so resources are spent to optimize the maintenance schedule. This is provided by technical diagnostics, which helps to monitor the technical condition and functional properties of the monitored machine under specified operating conditions. The publication is focused specifically on vibration diagnostics and its use in monitoring the transmission of vibrations during the turning of selected types of materials in the company with a focus on engineering, the ZVL AUTO s.r.o. The scope of research is mainly focused on the monitoring process in order to analyze the magnitude of vibration acceleration at two preselected parts of the machine tool - lathe.

The intelligent and digital technologies implementation into the civil engineer expert activities is able to provide alternative solutions to different qualifications specialists. This will increase the speed of data processing and the reliability of the expert opinion on the technical condition of the operated construction objects as well as will allow assessing their real residual resource for making a decision on the possibility of further exploitation. The ontology and the original technology for the main system components determination are necessary to achieve the goal (the confinement model) used for the structural and functional analysis of the knowledge system. The entire technologies set for the architectural and construction objects (digital documentation, scan results, thermal imager data, non-destructive survey methods data), data about structure’s defects and damage, appropriate software as well as intelligent technologies (fuzzy logic, neural networks) are used for more thoroughly diagnose certain construction parts and transmit digital information to determine the technical condition category. Also, this data set can be used for following situations: a control of the dynamics of changes in the technical state of a construction object, an improvement the accuracy of determining the scope of repair work, an enhancement the quality of project documentation, methods for assessing the quality of restoration work and measures for the conservation of architectural monuments, etc.

The hydraulic drive of a construction machine is a complex dynamic system that is subjected to many dynamic loads of a variable nature and operates under conditions of variable external influences caused by various factors. During operation, these loads cause failure of the hydraulic transmission elements. To prevent these malfunctions, technical diagnostics should be applied by determining their current technical condition and remaining service life. The article assesses the working condition of hydraulic cylinders using a mathematical model. Using matlab/simulink software to simulate the hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic piston speed when changing the hydraulic cylinder clearance. The simulation results are presented. Development and practical implementation of the enterprise industrial safety management system considering the new requirements of the legislation on creation of the state system for monitoring, remote control, technical certification, and diagnostics of technical devices at hazardous production facilities supervised by Rostechnadzor is discussed in the article. To perform automated collection, recording, generalization, systematization, and evaluation of the information on the parameters that characterize safety of the enterprise hazardous equipment as a whole and each technical device, a block diagram of the enterprise automated industrial safety management system is proposed. The basics are suggested for creating the automated system containing a database that includes all the technical documentation, certificates and expert opinions, repair documentation and accompanying documents (orders, instructions, audit conclusions, etc.) for the efficiency of tracking the technical condition in real time considering changes in all the controlled parameters of the enterprise technological complexes. It is noted in the article that the assessment of the technical condition and life of single and unique technical devices that make up the bulk of equipment in hazardous production should be carried out already at the manufacturing stage by combining technical control with technical diagnostics, and their results should be included in the technical passport of the device. The need in this information for the operators is invaluable, especially after working out the manufacturer’s designated period of safe operation and for evaluating the actual technical condition and comparing it with its original, which was documented during fabrication. Data on the initial state allows to qualitatively assess the degradation processes that are developing during operation and consider them when evaluating the life of a technical device and conduct a qualitative audit of the industrial safety management system.

The mathematical model is considered for the formation and implementation of development strategies of the stock of control and measuring instruments (CMI) applied in construction and housing and communal services(HCS), and step-by-step control of efficiency target values of the stock. The model is based on a system of finite - difference equations describing the change of number of the CMI samples with different levels of technical perfection and technical condition at each planning interval. The model allows calculating the required number of CMI for procurement and repairs in the various groups for provide target values of efficiency indices at each planning interval. Controller is number of modern CMI samples for procurement and number of modern and obsolete faulty CMI samples for the repairs. The results of calculations are presented.
