Sydney J. Harris advises us, “The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows”. Never like today, are we in the need to help teachers and professors to guide their students to open windows and get involved with the geopolitical and economic needs of the world. This paper tests the hypothesis that Microsoft OneNote Class Notebook (MONCN), used in undergraduate Finance courses as a tool for digital teaching, can both promote sustainable development and make the students become leaders, using this innovative tool of learning as part of their own activities and lives in the future. The test of the hypothesis also demonstrates that students manage to make the classroom time more effective and efficient for learning when using MONCN as a paperless technological platform. Thus, without impacting the effectiveness and quality of education, MONCN surges as a tool for inspiring the students to become committed citizens that can change the world and collaborate in the fight of climate change.

This article reveals the problem of the formation of a modern style of thinking, a logical culture among students in STEM education. The modern educational system is aimed at orienting the student to incentives and assessments received from the outside, from society. In the conditions of rapidly developing information technology, it became possible to more clearly demonstrate many “real experiments” in real time using the knowledge gained in the lessons. In particular, we analyzed the effectiveness of using the STEM condition in physics lessons. We examined the benefits of STEM technology. A study of two identical lessons was carried out in which we prove that the new approach improves the interest and cognition of students. The use of STEM technologies in physics classes shows an improvement in the quality of education, as well as attracting students to the world of science.

There are still many teachers who cannot use information technology in learning especially for teachers who are senior or old. As teacher supervisors, they must improve the quality of their performance in using technology. To improve the ability of teachers to use technology, ongoing training is needed to use technology. The role of the head of the school as a supervisor is also needed, namely the principal is obliged to supervise, control, and approach the teacher in terms of the use of technology in the learning process.
