The role of teachers in learning is central. It greatly influences the success and the quality of learning process. Yet, it remains lack of evidences in some areas such as diminishing the learners' learning automony. Lamguage learners are positioned lower than the teachers. In decentralized learning, teachers are facilitators. As the result of this point of views, the learners are less appreciated for their imperfect learning behaviours for some reasons regarding for their potentials. Thus, this article is to criticize and to elaborate the evidences of teacher-centred learning and teacher-controlled learning in postmodernism paradigm and the realities in Indonesian efl perspectives which emphasizes on the main actors in learning and the power of learning. Yet, there is no absolute truth in terms of power in learning.

<p>Abstract: The Role of LPTK in Creating Syari’ah Based Professional Workforce in Aceh. The Institution of Learning for Educational workforce (LPTKs) plays an important role in the process of producing professionals in their fields. This article studies the extent to which such institutional programs play, especially those mainly associated with the Islamic sya’riah implemented in Aceh region. The writer of this article argues that, in terms of quality, it can be revealed from how far the lecturers are capable of facilitating the students’ learning process and its relevance to teaching materials. Therefore, the author concludes that the quality of learning can be conducted with the intensity of the systemic and synergistic lecturers, students, curriculum and learning materials, media, facilities, and learning systems in producing process and the optimal learning outcomes in accordance with the demands of curriculum.</p><p><br />Kata Kunci: workforce, professional, LPTK, Aceh<br /><br /></p>

Educational progress is determined by how teacher’s way to arrange the learning process that occurs in schools. The quality of learning depends on how the teacher runs the learning, so the goal of education is achieved, the learning process becomes innovative and fun and learners do not feel bored during the learning process takes place. The formation of students’ character becomes the main goal in education, therefore comic is a tool that can help teachers in instilling the values of characters contained in the comic.

In the teaching and learning process of Social Sciences, many problems are carried out by the teacher. One of them is some students still rely on their teacher's activities in learning, so the role of students is still very lacking. Even thought, the teacher always involving students to play an active in learning process. In contrary, students assume that the subject of Social Sciences is very boring. So that this causes a low quality of learning in Social Sciences, especially in  SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. This cases has tickled the writer to take the theme of research on picture and picture cooperative methods to improve the quality of learning and increase the interest and activity of students in teaching and learning activities in Social Sciences.As for the techniques used of data collection is through observation by teachers and collaborators. The research involved two cycles of 42 students. While the data analysis used description with percentage techniques. Furthermore the level of activity of students and teachers is expressed in the category of "very good", "good" or "moderate", while the success of using picture and picture cooperative methods is stated as "successful", "less successful", or "unsuccessful".The results of this reseacrh with picture and picture cooperative methods have been successful, which is showing indicated by an increase in student activity of learning because it has reached the specified criteria is 81% of students are actively involved, while teacher activities reach 86.53%, as well as student learning outcomes with a value of 78.57, where this shows that it is exceeding the KKM value of 72, with a percentage of completeness of 76%, which has exceeded the criteria of 75%.

The role of teachers in applying questioning skills is carried out during learning The purpose of this study is to determine the role of teachers in applying questioning skills, obstacles and solutions in applying questioning skills in SD Negeri 56 Banda Aceh. Implementation, obstacles and solutions that are studied in this study are the roles that teachers do in applying questioning skills during learning. This research uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were first grade to sixth grade teachers at SD Negeri 56 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study were data analysis, data models (data display) and conclusion drawing / verification. The data validity technique used in this study is source triangulation. The observation of researchers at SD Negeri 56 Banda Aceh can be concluded that the teacher's questioning skills are the most frequent and most important activities carried out in the learning process. The ability to ask is the main ability that must be possessed by the teacher because asking is a tool for teaching. Because almost every stage of learning the teacher is required to ask questions, and the quality of the questions asked by the teacher will determine the quality of student answers. Giving questions will help students learn mentally and be more perfect in receiving information so students participate actively during the learning process.

This study aimed at determining the role of teachers and principals in improving the quality of learning in elementary school of Pulau Rimau. The sample in this study were 40 teachers from Pulau Rimau. The data were collected using 1) interviews, 2) observations, and 3) documentation. Research data analysis techniques include 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) data verification. The results showed that teachers and principals have a role in improving the quality of education of SD Negeri in Pulau Rimau.

Media is a tool or means as an intermediary to deliver lessons from teachers to students. Types of educational media commonly used are: graphics media, three-dimensional media, and media projection. Benefits of media in learning are: (1) Submission of subject matter can be uniformed. (2) The learning process becomes more clear and interesting. (3) The learning process becomes more interactive. (4) Efficiency in time and effort. (5) Improve the quality of student learning outcomes. (6) Media allows the learning process can be done anywhere and anytime. (7) The media can foster a positive attitude of students to the material and learning process. (8) Changing the role of teachers in a more positive and productive direction.

The teacher is a strategic factor in education, responsible for the success of the development of students with all cognitive, affective, and psychomotor potential. The teacher is responsible for the learning process at the institution where he is assigned, because the system applied by the teacher affects the quality of learning completeness. Therefore, teachers must improve their knowledge and intellect and strive to be good role models for their students. Teachers are also required to advance their students' abilities in the field of science as well as in the field of morality. This study raises the general problem, how is the role of the teacher in the implementation of learning to read and write the Qur'an at Madrasah Aliyah Roudlotul Mutaallim Baratan, Patrang District, Jember Regency. This research uses phenomenological qualitative research. The results of the study indicate that in general the teacher's role in the implementation of learning to read and write the Qur'an is to act as a teacher and act as a mentor, in general the results can improve the quality of students. As evidence is the result of research conducted by the author of Madrasah Aliyah Roudlotul Mutaallim Baratan, Patrang District, Jember Regency

The current paper presents the issues related to the process of formation and development of the teachers’ professional and methodical units within various cycles of pedagogy. In addition, it highlights the significance of the role of teachers’ collaboration, cooperation, awareness of different types of integration within these units for the benefit of the quality of teaching /learning process. The paper states that multilayered analysis of teachers’ engagement into the educational environment will foster them to function as empowered and empowering specialists to establish new paths in teaching.

This paper aims to examine the academic supervision of teachers as a step to improve the quality of madrasas.The teacher has an essential role in improving the quality of learning. Teacher quality will significantly affectthe quality of knowledge and the resulting output. However, teachers must have capable abilities based onpedagogical, professional, social, and personality competencies. Academic supervision is a routine activity thatmust be carried out by supervisors and madrasa heads, so the role of supervisors to supervise and foster is verymuch needed. The part of supervisors is still not maximized in conducting supervision and coaching. Thissituation has an impact on the quality of teachers in the teaching and learning process, not only that it willaffect the quality of madrasas.
