Pain that is not immediately cultivated can have a detrimental effect on children, including anxiety, sleep difficulties and despair. A child takes a series of procedures in a Hospital as a therapy. The first procedure often used on a child as he/she enters a hospital will be an intravenous therapy procedure and blood collection venipuncture. A topical anesthesia is often used in pediatric care. EMLA cream is an option to reduce pain during a venipuncture procedure on children. The research aims at know how the effectiveness of EMLA used on school aged child’s level of pain during venipuncture in Hospital. The research method of study used a quasi experimental post-test only non-equivalent control group. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling with a sample of 30 respondents consisted of two groups (intervention and control group). Bivariate analysis was carried out of using the Mann Withney test. The results indicated level of pain of children in the intervention group the majority experienced hurt little more 5.07%. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of audiovisual education methods on self management in hypertensive patients. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group pre and post test design, with a total sample of 38 respondents consisting of an intervention group and a control group. Obtained a significant difference in the average self-management of the intervention group after the audiovisual education method was performed with (p = 0,000). There was no relationship between age (p = 0.71), sex (p = 0.955) and self-management in hypertensive patients. While self management will increase after the audiovisual education method is carried out and controlled by knowledge (p = 0.005). The conclusion of this study is the audiovisual education method can improve self management in hypertensive patients.  Keywords: Audiovisual Education, Hypertension, Self Management

Lesson material presented in the form of data or facts and specific concepts on expository learning model helps learners to connect new material with material that precedes it, so organizers help is provided to instill meaningful learning. This study aims to determine the difference of influence of the implementation of learning model of assisted advance organizer and post organizer expository. The population in this study is all students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 3 Mataram academic year 2017/2018. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique, and quasi experimental research uses non-equivalent control group design with pre-test-and post-test. The results obtained from the classroom given the treatment of expository learning model assisted by advance organizer and post organizer have the same tendency improvement. In both classes there is a relatively similar increase in the mastery of the previous concept, but the difference between the two is not much different. Therefore, there is no difference of influence between expository model of assisted advance organizer and post organizer to the mastery of work and energy concepts of learners.

The research aimed to find out the effectiveness of describing and drawing picture technique in teaching transactional speaking at the second semester students of English Education Department at State Islamic University of Alauddin Makassar. This research employed quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design with pre-test and post-test. The population of this research was the second semester students of English education department at State Islamic University of Alauddin Makassar. The population was selected by using purposive sampling technique to determine the sample for experimental class and control class. The instrument used in this research was test. The test was used in the pre-test and post-test. The data indicated that there was a significant difference between the students’ post-test in the experimental class and post-test in the control class. Based on the findings of the research, the researchers concluded that describing and drawing picture technique was effective in teaching transactional speaking. The period of menarche in Indonesia has reached 60-70% who experience dysmenorrhea and cause women to be unable to carry out activities and reduce women's quality of life. This study aims to describe the effect of acupressure therapy on the intensity of menstrual pain. This type of quantitative research is a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach with sampling using a purposive sampling technique using 100 respondents from April 20 to June 21 2020. The data was obtained from a questionnaire and processed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed the overall data of the variable dysmenorrhea pre test - post test in the intervention group Asymp value. The significance is 0.000 <0.05, while the control group has Asymp value. The significance is 1,000 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that the results of the analysis of changes in the pain scale pre-test - post-test in the intervention group showed a significant change between the pre-test and post-test pain scales. It can be seen from the measurement results of the Mean Rank pain scale before therapy is 0.00 and Mean Rank after therapy is 25.50 which means there is a decrease in the intensity of menstrual pain. Based on the results of the research above, adolescents need to add information and understanding through various mass media to equip themselves in dealing with complementary menstrual pain

This study aims to analyze the effect of breastfeeding education packages for successful of early breastfeeding. This type of research was a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design with a non-randomize Post-test Only Control Group Design. This research conducted at a health center in Bogor of months Juni until Agustus 2018. The number of samples of each group was 27 respondents to the sampling technique used unpaired numerical, analytical research samples. The media of education used booklets compiled by researchers from a variety of sources. The instrument used a questionnaire about successfully breastfeeding based on body position, emotion, anatomy, suckling, and time. Data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. The median value of breastfeeding success in the intervention group was 26,  while in the control group, it was 22. Based on the results of the analysis found that there is an influence of breastfeeding education packages on the provision of preliminary results with a value of p 0.003 (p <0.05). Successfully of early breastfeeding in the intervention group were given breastfeeding education package is higher than the control group. Conclusion: The breastfeeding education package significantly affects the success of early breastfeeding. Lactation management education, especially about early breastfeeding and support from health workers, is expected for successfully breastfeeding mothers.

Abstrak Background: Dysmenorrhea is menstruation accompanied by pain and physical causes such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and in some cases it can also disrupt daily activity. Students who experience dysmenorrhea will be disrupted during learning activities because it is an activity that involves both physical work and the brain. Furthermore, it is found recently that the pain during menstruation is not only felt in the lower abdomen, but it reaches the back. Objective: To determine the effect of the child and animal poses yoga on the changes of the pain scale in dysmenorrhea in students of the Faculty of Health Science, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental design which was a non-equivalent control group pre-test-post test. Samples were collected by means of purposive sampling with a total of 80. Forty female students were given interventions of yoga child and animal poses and there were 40 control groups. In addition, a paired sample t-test was used in the statistical test. Results: There was a change of 1.62 in pain in the intervention group scale. On the other hand, there was a change in the pain scale of 0.06 in the control group. Statistical test results showed the value of p = 0.0001. Conclusion: The movement of yoga child and animal poses have an effect on the dysmenorrhea pain scale since it can decrease the pain caused by dysmenorrhea.Keywords :Child and animal poses yoga, Dysmenorrhea, Pain scale

The low milk supply to infants is a very serious threat to the growth and development of infants as the next generation of the nation. Good motivation and ability will increase the role of mothers in giving milk to babies, so that breastfeeding to babies will increase. This study aims to identify the effect of the education package for maternal affection towards maternal motivation in exclusive breastfeeding. A quasi-experimental research method with a non-equivalent control group pre and post test approach. The research site is in the work area of ​​Buaran and Wonokerto 2 Public Health Centers in Pekalongan Regency with three trimester primigravida respondents. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling consisting of 38 respondents. Statistical tests using the Chi Square Test. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of the mother's love education package on mother's motivation in breastfeeding in the intervention group (p <0.05). Health workers are expected to be more active in health promotion programs, especially the education package for mothers to love pregnant women in order to increase the motivation of pregnant women in breastfeeding their babies.   Keywords: ASI, Education, Motivation.

Oxytocin massage is performed to stimulate the oxytocin reflex or let down reflex. By doing this massage, the mother will feel relaxed, so that the hormone oxytocin comes out the breast milk quickly. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of oxytocin massage on breast milk production in post sectio secarea mothers. This research method used a quasi-experimental method (Quasi Experiment) with Post Test Only design with control group design. The sampling technique with non-probability sampling was consecutive sampling with the number of respondents as many as 50 samples, namely 25 samples for the intervention group and 25 people with the control group. Data analysis applied the Chi-Square test. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value in each measurement was 0.039, 0.003, 0.002, which means that there were differences in the proportions of the smoothness of breast milk in the intervention group and the control group. Conclusion: There is a difference in the proportion of smoothness of breast milk in the intervention group and the control group, and there is no relationship between oxytocin massage with age, education, occupation, and parity.

Abstract Family support is needed to help mothers breastfeed their babies, but family knowledge about lactation management is lacking. Sufficient knowledge is needed in the family so that they can help mothers in breastfeeding. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of lactation management education packages for family support for mothers in breastfeeding. Quasi-experimental research method with a post test control group design. The place of research was in the Buaran and Puskesmas Wonokerto 2 work areas with the 3rd trimester primigravida respondents. Mothers whose milk did not come out and the baby died was excluded. The sampling technique uses multistage sampling. Interventions in the form of lactation management education for mothers and families every month 3 times during pregnancy in the third trimester. Statistical test using independent t test. The results showed an average family support in the control group 61.43 (55-78) and in the intervention group 68.10 (46-76) with a p value of 0.001 in 95% CI. The conclusion is the effect of giving lactation management education to family support for mothers in giving breast milk. Advice for health workers is expected to further improve lactation management education activities in families of pregnant women. Keywords: education, family support, , lactation management.

The aim of the research is to know the effect of using bimetal Musschenbroek Bimetal to the skill science processes this type of research conducted by researcher is Quasi Experimental with Non equivalent Control Group Desaign. This population of this research is all of students in Miftahul Falah Junior High school VII 2017/2018 school year which consist of thirty five until forty students. Devided seven classes are VII A, VII B, VII C, VII D, VII E, VII F, VII G, sampling technique in this research using cluster sampling technique. The experimental class was not choosen randomly but determined by the teacher and this taking sampling technique becouse the population is assismed to be normally distributed and in a homogenitas state so that selected VII A class as a contol class and VII D class as experiment class.Technique of data collection is done by using observation sheet method data collection technique were conducted using the observation sheet method skill science processes and documentation. Testing research hypotheseses show. There is significant influence  using Musschenbroek Bimetal to the students science prosess skills, in the test of the hypotheseses the researcher using taster hypothesis t right side from the result of post test show that value  tcount > ttableis  4,35 > 1,67 becouse tcount> ttable so H0  Rejected, Ha is received, so there is a difference influence on the leaning that carred on in the experimental class and control class.
