The article analyzes the complex of problems faced by a family raising a child with disabilities, based on the author's journalistic and field material, collected among the urban and rural population of the Arkhangelsk region in 2011-2020. The study puts a special emphasis on the role of parents, especially the mother, because single-parent families and single mothers are especially common among families having children with developmental disabilities. All problems related to the care, treatment, education, rehabilitation of a child and earning money are taken over by the mother, who suffers constant stress for many years. Dequalification, deprofessionalization, deterioration of health significantly affect the quality of life of a mother raising a disabled child. Social guarantees and financial assistance offered by the state only partially compensate for the economic costs incurred by families raising a disabled child. Problems are often family-based. The article analyzes the work of social and rehabilitation services, mass media, public opinion of people on such families.

Aceh Tamiang is an area with a majority Muslim population, not even one in Adil Makmur Village, Tenggulun, which is the location for this activity to find other places of worship besides mosques and prayer rooms. However, there is a decline in the quality of reading and writing the Koran in today's young generation compared to previous generations. This is due to the lack of parental attention to the quality of children's reading of the Koran, because they have fully surrendered this role to existing Koranic educational institutions. While in the previous generation, most parents were very disciplined for matters related to religious knowledge, especially reading and writing the Koran. The implementation of this Action Research aims to improve the literacy and writing skills of the young generation of the Koran in Adil Makmur Village, Tenggulun, Aceh Tamiang by empowering STAI As-sunnah students for Tahsin al-Qiraah activities. Choosing an educational system for a disabled child already at the stage of pre-school education is a difficult and stressful experience for parents, which regardless of the final decision, raises many doubts. Certain questions arise: ‘where there is a place in the education system for the child with a disability certificate?’, ‘where the child can develop best?’, but also ‘where the child simply feels happy and does not experience exclusion?’. Many things depend on the level of the child’s disability, on key choices made by parents, and on the quality of cooperation, both in the three-way parent-therapist-child relationship, but also in the two-way parent-child and therapist-child relationships. Parents more and more often make decisions about inclusive education, where a child can develop amongst non-disabled peers. This article focuses primarily on the role of parents and therapists in the process of including a disabled child in the education system, the potential of cooperation, but also the fears, difficulties and expectations accompanying both sides.

Introduction: The culture of eating out among Malaysians has substantially increased in recent years due to the urbanisation of the society. Frequent eating out has been linked with reduced quality of diet, reduced intake of micronutrients, and increased weight gain. This study aims to explore specific factors on the perceptions and behaviours related to eating out from the perspective of parents. Methods: A qualitative study was carried out among 27 informants from various ethnicities and locations in Peninsular Malaysia. All sessions were audio-recorded, fully transcribed and analysed using thematic content analysis. Results: The main overarching theme that surfaced from this study was the role of parents in shaping the practice of eating out. Time constraints due to parents’ work commitments, the availability of various food outlets, increase in family bonding time and food preferences were recurring themes revealed by informants as facilitating factors to eating out. Other emerging themes, such as hygiene of food premises and cost of food, posed as barriers to eating out. Conclusion: These findings offered a better understanding on the eating out practices of a family from the parents’ perspective. Information as such could be incorporated in strategies to enhance the promotion of healthy eating and nutrition interventions that aim to inculcate healthy food choices while eating out.

This article discusses the analysis of the structural strings in Proverbs 10: 1-5 as the role of parents in the formation of children's character. The purpose of this article is to interpret Proverbs 10: 1-5 and give attention to the bridge of the context of Proverbs 1-9 about the role of parents in forming a child's character. The author uses Wisdom Genre Hermeneutics as a procedure in research, so found 4 major conclusions in making this scientific work. First, the character formation of a child always begins with the role of parents in providing the educational process. The key to affinity Structure Proverbs 10: 1-5 which provides a transition / hinge in the fundamentals of wisdom Proverbs 1-9, giving the author directions that the results of the quality of the wise child cannot be separated from the education of parents. This needs to be known where the process of education in the family also continues to apply in the midst of the life of the Israelites, even in the royal period, especially in the time of his own exile. Second, the role of parents in education seems to be carried out in a balanced manner, namely father and mother. Proverbs 10: 1 explains that the character quality of a child will have consequences for the judgment of a father and mother. The teacher of wisdom is not only to a father, but also to a mother. Therefore, education in the family is carried out by a team, namely father and mother (see Context Proverbs 4: 1; 6:20; etc.). Third, the writer of Proverbs teaches that a child can have wise character qualities. The wise character quality of children is obtained from parental education. Through the study of the author in Proverbs 10: 1-5, wise children are educated in moral teachings that are based on the teachings of God (Old Testament context). In addition, the educational process is also based on good experience of the life of a father and mother, so that a child can imitate the habits / good qualities of his parents, moreover the wise nature emphasized in Proverbs 10: 1-5 is the nature of honesty (v. 3) and perseverance (vv. 4-5) as an identity of a minded person. And fourth, the action or character shown to a child can be an evaluation for parents of the teachings of wisdom that have been conveyed (Band. Teachings of wisdom in Proverbs 10: 1), so that in the future they can teach again the teachings of wisdom for a person children, so that one day they can become wise children.
