The subject matter has been based on three systematizations of experiences in teacher training through remote teaching, during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020–2021. They were developed in IES in Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru. The objective has been to show the experiences implemented to build the teachers’ pedagogical knowledge, from online teaching practices. The theoretical framework has been the theory of collaborative and developmental learning, according to L. S. Vigotski and his followers. The work methodology has been the systematization of experiences, according to Jara and others. The results of the Brazilian experience show how it is possible for students of the degree in pedagogy to acquire didactic knowledge and develop skills, through collaborative work in virtual rooms. The Ecuadorian experience shows the effectiveness of teaching focused on autonomous work, which is based on asynchronous activities. The results of the experience in Peru show how asynchronous accompaniment is an effective means for guidance and sustained feedback by the trainer, with an impact on the process of construction of a scientific text and on the productivity of the doctoral student in Education.

The objective of this research is to show the difficulties and the challenges identified by teachers in their mathematics teaching practices. The research is based on the concept of reflection-action, thus a workshop-course centered on collaborative work and on reflections about teaching practices was designed in order to achieve the objective. Ten mathematics teachers the Telebachillerato (Higher Secondary Education Subsystem, Mexico) participated in this research. The results show that teachers have a variety of challenges, but also difficulties, particularly involving getting students to construct knowledge autonomously, as well as teachers selecting and using resources in accordance to the subject matter to be taught. In addition, there is also lack of mathematical and pedagogical knowledge in the participants. Collaborative work is required, leading teachers towards building the necessary knowledge for Higher Secondary Education in order to avoid student obstacles.

The COVID-19 is an ongoing global pandemic, caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The virus was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 resulted in the abrupt shutting of all the educational institutions (schools, colleges, and universities) in India. This resulted in dramatic changes in the education system with the distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms. Online learning is a competent and contactless method of teaching to remotely located students. Geography is a branch of science which deals with the study of the earth’s surface and the relationships between people and their environment. Geographers explore both the physical properties of the earth’s surface and the human societies spread across it. The subject matter of Geography containing different theory papers and practical papers cannot just be effectively taught in a classroom or laboratory but best enlightened on the field. For the effective learning process in the subject of Geography, students require on-ground observations, laboratory analysis, projects and dissertations, field surveying, computer mapping and analysis, field trips and excursions, etc. It helps the budding Geographers to acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills. But the COVID-19 pandemic situation confronted the education system, forcing the educators in the field of Geography to shift to an online mode of teaching, leaving them with no option. During this crisis, the educators have given their best in teaching the subject matter of Geography to the students by using various open-source teaching aids by overcoming the issues like lack of training and professional technical support. This altered the traditional teaching and learning process in the field of Geography, which essentially affects the students of Geography. Thus, a case study was undertaken to assess the online teaching in the subject of Geography at the undergraduate level during the academic year 2020-21 from the student’s perspective.

This large book is the collaborative work of 81 persons. Each has described the drugs currently used in a field with which he is well acquainted from clinical or research experience. The list of authors is impressive. The result of their efforts is a semi-comprehensive treatise which should find a place in the libraries of many physicians. This book represents a new approach to the difficult problem of keeping available a fairly current description of the subject matter in a field which advances, as pharmacology does, in a very uneven fashion.

The paper offers an analysis of lexical-syntactic structures based on the verb form viser typical of a scientific text, that is a text that follows quite a stable and rigid structure. A corpus-based analysis, achieved through the use of the Scientext corpora, runs across two dimensions. The first dimension is constituted by the subject matter of the text while the other dimension concerns the relation between the author of the text and the recipient. The analysis presented is a two-stage process. At the first stage, lexical-syntactic structures are singled out. The second stage is to assign those structures to the particular parts of the text, such as Introduction, Main body, Conclusion.

Abstract: This article studies the Ecclesiastical Magisterium understanding about the laity in the third Latin American Episcopal Conference held in Puebla (México), in 1979. Resuming the results of the Medellín Conference, the Puebla Conference proposed a definition of the laity from their mission and vocation in the Church and in the world. The proposal is to offer a diachronic and synchronic view, considering the Conclusive Document of the mentioned Conference as reference, with regard to the subject matter of the laity. So, the aim is to demonstrate that the layman, in the Latin American Ecclesiastical Magisterium conception, has had a historical and doctrinal progress, with challenges and deficiencies typical of their determined historical and social condition, verified in the preparation, accomplishment and deliberation steps of the Puebla Conference. The theological and pastoral interpretation of the Conclusive Document of the Conference will contribute to understand the development of the subject matter from the Latin American Episcopal Conferences of Rio de Janeiro (1955) and of Medellín (1969) to the Episcopal Conferences that were held later in Santo Domingo (1992) and in Aparecida (2007), regarding the role of the laity in the Church and in the society. Keywords: Latin American Bishop. The relevance of the subject matter is determined by the fact that Ukrainian higher education institutions in a pandemic are forced to switch to combined or distance learning, but also continue providing quality training for future professionals. Accordingly, there is a need to find effective means and methods of forming the professional competences of future professionals, taking into account the realities of combined and distance learning. The purpose of the study is to analyse scientific publications, the available practical experience of organising independent work of students in the conditions of remote classes and identify ways to optimise this process. The study considers the specific features of the organisation of independent work of students during remote classes. Based on the analysis of scientific sources on the subject matter and the survey, the main shortcomings of organising independent work in higher education institutions during distance learning were identified (lack of relevant methodological skills of teachers; lack of developed algorithms for effective organisation of independent work by students in modern conditions; lack of motivation of some students to master new material). The pedagogical experiment involved 56 teachers and 241 students. Ways to solve the outlined problems were substantiated and suggested. In particular, regarding the first problem, options for organising appropriate methodological work with scientific and pedagogical staff to acquire skills of remote organisation of independent work are proposed. To solve the second problem, it was proposed to structure the independent work of students in a distance format in accordance with the approach of reverse design in learning, which is depicted schematically. To solve the third problem – ways were developed to increase motivation to perform independent work of students who unite in the professional aspect of academic disciplines. Prospects for further research include the specification of the described approach to the organisation of independent work of students on the example of the study of occupational safety disciplines in technical institutions of higher education

The phrase “who says contractual, says justice” (qui dit contractuel dit juste) does not fully express the truth of present reality, where the phrase itself falls into doubt, since a contract does not always result in fair obligations. In this regard, the French judiciary realized that the absence of justice in a contract might arise as a result of the contractual freedom afforded to the contracting parties. Thus, the idea of Commutative Justice in the contract was developed, such as, the Chronopost’s decision which is considered one of its most important applications. However, the equivalence of rights and obligations in the Palestinian Draft Civil Code only exists in a virtual form, without any content that actually contributes to the achievement of the equivalence between rights and obligations in contracts. This article seeks to prove that the provisions of the causation theory in the Palestinian Draft Civil Code can be used as an effective means for achieving contractual justice between the contracting parties, in order to maintain economic contractual equilibrium of the contract. To do so, the function of the causation theory should be analysed in a comparative analytical approach with the Chronopost’s decision to illustrate the Palestinian legislative deficiencies. It will also show the need for adopting the French judicial approach, which will establish a general rule that any arbitrary clause that contravenes the essential obligation of the contract is considered to be unwritten, regardless of the nature or the subject matter of the contract.

Abstract: This article studies the Ecclesiastical Magisterium understanding about the laity in the Fourth Latin American Episcopal Conference held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 1992. This Conference proposed the continuation of the reflection on the laity, from their mission and vocation in the Church and in the world, having its focus on the ecclesiastical documents and on the pastoral practice developed by the Church in the Latin America. Therefore, the proposal is to offer a diachronic and synchronic view of the Conference, considering its Conclusive Document as reference, with regard to the subject matter of the laity. This way, it’s intended to demonstrate that the layman, in the Latin American Ecclesiastical Magisterium conception, has had a historical and doctrinal progress, with challenges and fragilities, but at the same time with faith and hope, typical of its ecclesial and social condition, verified in the preparation, accomplishment and deliberation steps of the respective Conference. The theological and pastoral interpretation of the Conclusive Document will contribute to understand the development of the referred subject matter, resuming the results of the Latin American Episcopal Conferences of Rio de Janeiro (1955), Medellín (1968) and Puebla (1979), and it will be useful as reference for the preparation of the Aparecida Conference (2007), that will also reflect on the performance of the laity in the Church and in the society. Keywords: Santo Domingo Conference.
