The knowledge of the topological structure and the automatic fare collection systems in urban public transport produce many data that need to be adequately analyzed, processed and presented. These data provide a powerful tool to improve the quality of transport services and plan ahead. This paper aims at studying, from a mathematical and statistical point of view, the Barcelona metro network; specifically: (1) the structural and robustness characteristics of the transportation network are computed and analyzed considering the complex network analysis; and (2) the common characteristics of the different subway stations of Barcelona, based on the passenger hourly entries, are identified through hierarchical clustering analysis. These results will be of great help in planning and restructuring transport to cope with the new social conditions, after the pandemic.

The paper presents the possibility, necessity, ideology and essence of the entropy method of estimating the orderliness of the transportation process in relation to urban public transport. Examples of numerical definition of the relative entropy of the transportation process on typical public transport routes are given. The paper shows that the level of orderliness of the transportation process, identified by relative entropy, is determined by the specifics of the spatial location of public transport routes in terms of the urban area and mainly depends on the quality of users of public transport services.

The intensification of public transport in urban areas due to increased mobility at the regional and state levels, discrepancies between urban areas with the same population and the lack of statistics related to the efficiency and quality of public transport services are the main factors of our work. It is necessary to draw boundaries between the quality of services and the performance indicators of the public transport system. The quality of services is the subjective result of many intangible variables. The quality of service can be approached from four sides: from the point of view of the passenger, the performance of the vehicle, the specialized passenger transportation company, and the Government. Accessibility, comfort and convenience-these are the main indicators that should be evaluated by the population as having high ratings for the good quality of urban transport services. The tool used to collect the data is the preference survey. Keywords: service quality, public transport, evaluation, efficiency, methods, passenger, survey

Maritime tourism has become a competitive opportunity for many island destinations in search of sustainable development. This article aims to analyze the hypothesis that tourist satisfaction with nautical destinations depends on the experience of previous visits to competing destinations. This hypothesis is relevant in order to ascertain the extent of potential coopetition between tourist destinations from the point of view of the consumers. This may ask for the need of cooperation within the competitive environment in which tourist destinations manage sustainability. The evidence is obtained from the case of Cape Verde, an archipelago strongly committed to the development of the nautical sector. Survey data from nautical tourists’ satisfaction visiting Cape Verde is modeled utilizing an ordinal logistic approach. Results show that tourist satisfaction with Cape Verde increases with the authenticity of the cultural experience offered by the destination, the diversity and quality of the nautical offer and the security perceived. Moreover, tourists declaring a satisfactory travel experience in other recently visited islands have higher levels of satisfaction with the nautical destination of Cape Verde. This suggests that proper strategies for nautical tourism development in these islands should not only allow tourists to discover the best cultural and local values of the destination, but also enhance their awareness of the quality of the experience provided by island competitors and, therefore establishing a benchmark for the common benefit of all island destinations becomes of interest. In this regard, coopetition strategies among islands with common interests of specialization may allow them to gain better positioning in the international nautical tourism market, and contribute to tourism development and the sustainability of the industry.

AbstractTransport companies operate in a dynamically developing and competitive market. Maintaining the already held position and further expansion requires adjusting the level of services provided to the needs and requirements of customers, as well as continuous surveying, monitoring and adjusting the implemented strategy. There are different methods for such an analysis. This article proposes logistic regression. The research was conducted on the basis of a distribution and trade company dealing with the supply of automotive spare parts. As the most profitable group of customers are local car repair shops, it was this group that was subject to analysis. The quality of service assessment was considered from the point of view of delivery time. The dichotomous form of the predictor taking two values - late and on-time delivery - was determined. From among the possible ones, regressors whose influence was statistically significant and whose modification was possible were selected. The research showed which of them (and how strongly) affect the dependent variable, which allowed for modification of strategy and implementation of new solutions increasing the number of satisfied customers.

In the article it is explored the concept of the permanent devices of transport systems, it is studied the nature of the permanent devices, their functions, characteristics and components. The transport system plays an important role in the socio-economic development of the country, providing conditions for economic growth, increasing the competitiveness of the national economy and the quality of life of the population. Despite the good geopolitical and geographical location of Ukraine, the state of the transport system is pre-critical. This complicates the presence of Ukraine in the market of transport services in the world nowadays. One of the most important components of the transport system is the permanent devices. It is important to study permanent devices of transport systems in the context of reforming the transport system of Ukraine, in the conditions of attracting private capital, privatization. In order to solve the problem of the transport system development, first of all it is required to define theoretically such concepts as the transport system and its components. In the article it is studied two physical components of permanent devices of transport systems - the thoroughfare and the terminal. It is investigated the question of the form of ownership of the permanent devices of the transport systems, the possibility of privatization according to the current legislation of Ukraine. The analysis of the legislative framework of Ukraine and the works of scientists allowed to make certain generalizations regarding the content of the permanent devices of transport systems. In the article it is identified the common features and characteristics of the permanent devices of transport systems.

The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on all aspects of life, but also on the financial reporting of companies and on the activity of auditors. The paper aims to highlight the importance of reporting in the financial statements the subsequent events caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, but also of the aspects that can significantly influence the going concern of companies' activities, respectively how these effects can cause changes in the quality of audit services. The study was conducted on a sample of 60 companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, analyzing the components of the annual reports for the financial year 2019, namely the financial statements, the administrator's report and the independent auditor's report. The results showed that the effects generated by the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact in most of the industries studied, affecting both companies to carry out activities by closing borders, reducing or even closing certain activities, stopping travel and hindering communication with suppliers, customers or investors, reduced sales, deferred payments or the need to optimally manage costs and available resources, as well as at the level of employees by performing work at home, technical unemployment or salary reductions, but also at the level of the client-auditor relationship, by limiting travel in business interest. Most of the estimated effects of the pandemic were presented in the administrator's report, some of the effects being mentioned in the explanatory notes to the financial statements. From a statistical point of view, the companies' declaration of the effects of the pandemic was correlated with the size of the auditor, the opinion issued by him and the average number of employees. The study showed that certain auditors assessed the risks posed by subsequent events reported by companies, presenting insignificant uncertainties in some cases, but also significant uncertainties regarding the going concern of the activity of some companies.

It is of great practical importance to develop simple methods for the automatic detection ofthe controlled state of the analytical method being applied. The key point is to find quantities that greatly affect the quality of the analytical results and that can be easily estimated during the measurement process from the measured data. The signal-to-noise ratio has proved to be such a quantity in gas chromatographic methods. The statistical properties of the estimation of the signal-to-noise ratio from gas chromatographic data have been investigated. The suggested practical method for estimating the signal-to-noise ratio proved to be biased from a mathematical statistical point of view, but the bias is usually not greater than 10%. It has been shown by practical examples that the signal-to-noise ratio affects the quality of the analytical results and it is easy to estimate its value from practical data.
