In the last two decades, school coexistence in Spain has suffered an important deterioration with consequences in the quality of working life and the health of teachers, as well as in the academic performance of students. Educational administrations have promoted actions to improve it; however, the results have not been positive. To give a more adequate answer we must know in depth the scope of the problem. The objective of this study was to analyze the most common types of conflicts, the degree of incidence of each one and how they are distributed among students, as well as to determine the most important underlying cause according to the teachers. The field work was carried out during the 2018/2019 academic year, in a Secondary School located in the south of the Valencian Community (Spain). The student population was 1040, 532 women and 508 men. The research followed a mixed, qualitative, and quantitative methodology, making use of in-depth interviews with the teaching staff, participant observation and a quantitative analysis of 1501 incidents that were reported throughout the academic year. The results show us differences by sex: 84% of the incidents are produced by male students and 16% by female students. Incident distribution is very uneven among the different courses. Of the center’s problems, 88.14% are concentrated in the first two years of Compulsory Secondary Education. It is remarkable that 51% of the problems are generated by only 3% of the students, mostly men and with a significant academic disinterest; therefore, it is a very small number of students, but with a great impact on coexistence

Teachers under Pressure? The influence of school size upon teacher job satisfaction in Dutch secondary education Teachers under Pressure? The influence of school size upon teacher job satisfaction in Dutch secondary education In the last decades, a visible and significant upscaling of educational organisations can be witnessed in nearly all Dutch educational sectors. The rise of large-scaled public service organisations is related with increased interest in the quality and 'humanity' of education. Many discussions about large scale education are connected with supposed problems concerning teacher work within schools. It is regularly taken for granted that scale expansion puts teaching staff under pressure, and it has become usual to blame school size for several problems (demotivated professionals, failing quality of education). However, these assumptions are highly controversial. The research of presented in this article intends to answer the question what influence school size has upon teacher job satisfaction in Dutch secondary education. Based on a secondary data-analysis and case study research, we demonstrate that the scale of educational organisations does not necessarily say a lot. In contrast with prevailing views about school size, working in large secondary schools does not by definition harm teacher job satisfaction. On the basis of these findings, we propose a more fine-tuned approach, which attends the organisational context of teachers' work and other factors which affect teacher job satisfaction.

The main purpose of the research was to figure out which was the level of comprehension of the didactic concepts that the students of the Secondary Education Master of the University of Alicante of the academic year 2011/12 had. With this purpose, we have collected the information provided by the answers of 227 students to an ad-hoc-elaborated semi-structured questionnaire whose data have been treated with a quantitative methodology using the SPSS.19 device. The statistic techniques were descriptive, differential and correlational. In this analysis, we take into account the scores obtained by students in variables related to their learning process and their attitudes towards it. The most interesting results prove that the students don’t master the basic didactic concepts in a satisfactory way, there are differences between the levels of comprehension and other variables related to the learning of the concepts and with attitudinal variables of this learning. The research based on these results indicates the need to focus the teaching and learning processes of the Master from a different point of view and combining the strategies which enhance the understanding of these concepts by the students. Key words: concept comprehension, didactic training, pre-service teacher education, Secondary Education Master.

Purpose. To determine the level of students interest in internal quality assurance, particularly in passing the survey and changing the teaching quality level and improving teachers pedagogical skills. Methodology. For the data collection, a questionnaire was used which included closed-end questions on the quality of teaching and open questions in terms of comments and recommendations of higher education students on the quality of teaching and several questions concerning the share of classes in the discipline attended by the students, ECTS scores, received by students from the relevant disciplines and the average score for the entire period of study. Findings. Sumy State University (SSU) introduced an online survey of students as the main consumers of educational services regarding the quality of teaching disciplines. Over the last 3 academic years, there has been an increase in the number of teachers whose activities are evaluated by students. There has been an increase in the number of teachers who, according to students, show excellence in teaching, which is a positive trend. If in the 20172018 academic year the number of such teachers in SSU was 57people, then in the 20192020 academic year, it increased by 35% to 77 people. Quality level Above average was determined for 120 teachers in the 20172018 academic year, and in the 20192020 academic year, their number increased by 30% and amounted to 156 people. It is noteworthy that in the 20192020 academic year compared to 20172018, there is a reduction in the number of teachers from 71 to 66 people (7%), who demonstrated the level of teaching Low. Originality. Survey of students on the quality of teaching educational components, on the one hand, allows monitoring students satisfaction with methods used by the teacher in training and communicating with students, and on the other hand, it is a method to control the institutions authority over the educational service quality and the HEIs mission implementation. It also indicates an increase in students interest in participating in higher educations internal quality assurance. An important factor influencing the positive dynamics of the teaching quality level is that each semester teachers receive a detailed analysis of students answers with a visual display for each questionnaire, as well as their comments and suggestions for teaching the relevant discipline through the information service Personal teachers office based on the results of the survey. Practical value. According to the analysis results of the received information, managerial decisions can be developed and implemented to improve the content and practice of educational components implementation, improving the professional skills of research and teaching staff, advancement of best pedagogical practices.

The problem of managing the educational process in the implementation of language education in a non-linguistic University is studied on the example of MGIMO Odintsovo branch (Moscow region). We consider the mechanisms, algorithms, and systems of pedagogical management, including LMS (learning Management System), which can be used in the conditions of standard, mixed, and distance learning, including during the forced full transition to remote mode in the spring of 2020 and the introduction of mixed learning in the 1st semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The article presents an algorithm for pedagogical management of the educational process in the field of implementation of language education in a non-linguistic University, which includes the following stages: planning, design, motivation, implementation, monitoring and reflection. The algorithm has been successfully implemented in our University, including in the conditions of the COVID – 19 pandemic. The conditions of pedagogical management of process of implementation of language education (humanistic orientation, taking into account specifics of the spiritual and moral development and the needs of students and individual (gender and age, level of proficiency, etc.). local language system characterized by the following parameters: the dominance of a clear and verified the goals of language education; the combination of complex ideas, the whole process of language education and work programs, teaching materials, etc.; permanently managed correction and development of the language teaching process taking into account changing external and internal conditions, requests and goals; monitoring of the achieved learning results. The criteria for evaluating the quality of management effectiveness are highlighted: the order and transparency of the process of implementing language education; the presence of the "backbone" of the teaching staff of the Department, the cohesion of the University itself "vertically" , etc. The introduction of the proposed algorithm of pedagogical management of the educational process in the field of language education implementation into the educational process of MGIMO showed its effectiveness, which was reflected not only on the results of the session and state exams, but also on the level of language training of graduates who reached the desired B2-C1/ C2, having initially A2/B1. Moreover, the implementation of the algorithm developed by US at MGIMO allowed not only to systematize and simplify the management process.

Decentralization reform includes a number of other reforms, including education reform, which is one of the most important. The main results of the reform of secondary education are: the introduction of the New Ukrainian School, the change of the system of management and financing of institutions, as well as the creation of educational districts and basic schools. Optimization of the network of general secondary education institutions (GSEI) is an important element on the way to quality educational services. When optimizing the network of GSEI, it is necessary to take into account a number of factors, among which the most important are: quality of transport routes, distance of transportation of students, number of students who will need transportation, material and technical base of institutions (availability of computer classes, gym and classrooms), staffing of the library fund, the quality of teaching staff and others. As of September,1 2019 there were 402 educational establishments with 105483 students in Chernivtsi oblast. Currently, 14 basic educational institutions and 22 branches have been established in Chernivtsi oblast. Among the raions, the largest number of basic educational institutions have been established in Hertsa raion. No basic educational institutions have been established in Putyla and Hlyboka raions, as well as in the city of Chernivtsi. A total of 7,354 students study in basic institutions and their branches. To test the method of optimization of the network of GSEI, we chose Kitsman raion of Chernivtsi oblast, which is optimal for the oblast and Ukraine in general on various indicators: demographic characteristics; the size of the raion; features of the transport network; the number of GSEI and students enrolled in them and others. Currently, there are 2 basic institutions and 2 branches in Kitsman raion. After analyzing a number of indicators (level of institutions, peculiarities of the institution location, number of students who will need transportation, area of student premises, material and technical base, staffing of the library fund, qualification of pedagogical staff and quality of graduates’ knowledge), we propose to optimize Kitsman raion network of GSEI, by means of establishing of 12 educational districts, 11 basic institutions and 26 branches. In most educational districts of Kitsman raion we propose to create one basic institution, only in Kitsman educational district – two, and in Shypyntsi and Luzhany educational districts not to create any basic institution at the moment.
