ABSTRAK Remaja putri membutuhkan persiapan fisik atau mental dalam menghadapi menarche. Mereka membutuhkan informasi yang benar dan lengkap dari kedua orang tua tentang haid sangat banyak, sehingga mereka bisa mempersiapkan diri dalam menghadapi menarche dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran orang tua dalam mempersiapkan remaja putri dalam menghadapi menarche di Desa Kadirejo Kecamatan Karanganom Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini  merupakan  penelitian  kualitatif  dengan  menggunakan  pendekatan  fenomenologis.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 90 orang tua yang memiliki remaja putri berusia 9-12 tahun yang belum pernah menstruasi di Desa Kadirejo Kecamatan Karanganom Kabupaten Klaten. Sampel purposive digunakan untuk mengambil sampel. Ada 5 sampel dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode wawancara mendalam. Menstruasi adalah hasil darah dari vagina wanita yang selalu dialami mereka setiap bulan. Hal itu adalah perubahan normal yang terjadi pada remaja putri yang sedang menghadapi masa dewasa. Gejala menstruasi adalah kaku, nyeri payudara, keputihan, pusing, jerawat, dan juga perubahan mood. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesiapan remaja putri dalam menghadapi menarche adalah usia, kesiapan mental, informasi, dan lingkungan. Hal yang harus dijelaskan kepada remaja putri berkaitan dengan menstruasi adalah tentang menstruasi, bagaimana melakukan kebersihan diri, terjadi perubahan, dan pola yang perlu dijaga setelah mengalami menstruasi. Peran orang tua dalam mempersiapkan remaja putri dalam menghadapi menarche adalah sebagai pendidik, teman, panutan, pengendali, dan pendukung mereka. Peran orang tua dalam mempersiapkan remaja putri dalam menghadapi menarche cukup baik. Orang tua telah memberikan informasi yang cukup tentang menstruasi kepada remaja putri mereka.   Kata kunci: peran orang tua, kesiapan, menarche. ABSTRACT Female teenagers need either physical or mental preparation in facing menarche. They need the right and complete information from both parents about menstruation very much, so they can prepare themselves in facing menarche well. The purpose of this research was to describe parents’ roles in preparing female teenagers in facing menarche in Kadirejo Village Karanganom Sub-District Klaten. This research was a qualitative research using phenomenological approach. The population in this research were 90 parents having female teenagers of age 9-12 years old who had not had menstruation in Kadirejo  Village Karanganom Sub-District Klaten. A purposive sampling was used to take the samples. There were 5 samples in this research. The data were collected by in-depth interview method. Menstruation was the outcome of blood from women’s vagina which was always experienced by them every month. It was a normal change which happened to female teenagers who were facing the adulthood. Menstruation symptoms were stiff body, breast pain, leucorrhoea, dizzy, pimples, and also mood changing. The factors affecting the female teenagers’ readiness in facing menarche were age, mental readiness, information, and environment. Things should be explained to female teenagers related to menstruation are about menstruation, how to do personal hygiene, changes happen, and patterns needed to be kept after getting menstruation. Parents’ roles in preparing female teenagers in facing menarche were as educator, friend, role model, controller, and supporter to them. Parents’ roles in preparing female teenagers in facing menarche were good enough. Parents had given enough information about menstruation to their female teenagers.   Keywords: parents’ roles, readiness, menarche.

Cancer that occurs in children does not only affect children, but also parents. Parents experience anxiety, stress, fear of losing their children, and helplessness in caring for their children, so that parents are less than optimal in caring for their children. Parent empowerment can increase parents' knowledge, confidence, and ability to care for their children. Previous research found several obstacles to parent empowerment carried out by nurses so that parent empowerment was not optimal in its implementation. Knowing barriers and supports in implementation of parent empowerment in caring for children with cancer can support implementation of parent empowerment to be more optimal. The purpose of this study was to explore barriers and supports in parent empowerment in caring for children with cancer based on the nurse's perception. The design of this study was qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach. The data was collected by in-depth interview method using semi-structured interview guidelines on six nurses who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data analysis was carried out by thematic analysis with the analysis stage according to Colaizzi. The results of this study were resulted in four themes, namely parental attitudes, parental characteristics, attitudes of nurses, availability of nurses and facilities. This study concluded that implementation of empowering parents to care for children with cancer became more optimal by knowing the barrier and supports in empowering parents care for children with cancer and nurses could make more effective planning in caring for children with cancer.

Purpose Women establish their enterprise for economic independence and empowerment. This study aims to identify the factors that promote women entrepreneurship in Uttarakhand, a state in India. Although, women have the potential to become entrepreneurs, they do not have the right opportunities to explore it. Therefore, the role of non-government organizations (NGOs) is imminent in supporting women's entrepreneurial cause. Design/methodology/approach The problems of women entrepreneurs during venture creation have been explored. Case studies of women entrepreneurs and NGOs operating in Uttarakhand have been developed through an in-depth interview method. Findings Entrepreneurial learning occurs because of certain personal, social and environmentally driven motivational factors. Entrepreneurial learning helps in the development of personal, social, managerial and entrepreneurial competencies. These competencies are essential for the performance of an enterprise. Practical implications This study provides directions to policymakers and researchers to focus on developmental programmes for women entrepreneurs. Originality/value This study explores a conceptual framework for the promotion of women entrepreneurship.

Introduction: Pulmonary TB clients who undergoing intensive phase treatment often feel sad, bored, reject conditions, useless and helpless, complaining about changes in conditions experienced. This study aims to describe the experience of pulmonary TB clients who undergoing intensive phase treatment in Taji Community Health Center of Magetan DistrictMethod: This research used qualitative research design of phenomenological approach with in-depth interview method on 15 participants with inclusion criteria for pulmonary TB clients aged ≥16 years, new clients were diagnosed with pulmonary TB, clients had undergone intensive phase pulmonary TB treatment for 1 month. While the exclusion criteria for pulmonary TB clients who are pregnant, TB-HIV, MDR TB, extrapulmonary TB, clients with comorbidities such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, schizophrenia, and other chronic diseases. BACKGROUND: Caring is the concept of a basic approach in nursing. It is an action that affects the level of satisfaction in hospitalized patients. Caring practice is very important for patient satisfaction. If it is in accordance with patient expectations, it will be considered as satisfying nursing services. However, in reality, there are still many nurses who have not shown caring practice toward patients and there may be some nurses who do not have time to listen to patients, provide comfort, or other caring actions. Nurses are considered to be noble professions as they are the people who take care and help the patients. The noble profession can be seen through the practice of the nurse such as caring actions which can improve patient satisfaction, especially Islamic caring, which is to include Islamic values in the hospital regardless of the patient’s status. AIM: This study aims to explore the experiences of nurses in implementing Islamic caring practices at the Islamic Hospital in Yogyakarta. METHODS: This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data collection conducted in this study was an in-depth interview method. The number of participants in this study was six nurses who worked at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital and Nur Hidayah Hospital, Yogyakarta. RESULTS: The results of this study showed four main themes regarding the experience of nurses in implementing Islamic caring practices at the Islamic Hospital in Yogyakarta. CONCLUSION: The four main themes are nurse’s spiritual experiences, sharia-based services, attitudes toward Islamic caring practices, and the support and the barrier in carrying out Islamic caring practices.

Introduction: Tsunami cause many disadvantages such as the emergence of trauma and stress on society. Victims included in the category of vulnerable groups experiencing depression after the tsunami, namely the elderly. Resilience is a psychological ability that must be possessed by the elderly to survive in the face of change when their environment continues to change. This study aims to determine the resilience of post-tsunami elderly.Method: This study used a qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach with in-depth interview method for 10 participants. Data analysis in this study uses the Collaizzi nine-step techniqueResult: The results of this study found sixteen themes, namely: 1) When a Tsunami Comes, 2) Actions When a Tsunami, 3) Feelings When a Tsunami Occurs, 4) Losses Due to Tsunami, 5) Feelings at Evacuation Posts, 6) How to Adjust, 7 ) How to Build Confidence, 8) Sources of Inspiration, 9) Efforts to Eliminate Trauma, 10) Positive Thinking, 11) Giving Support, 12) Daily Activities, 13) Lessons Learned from Tsunami, 14) Staying in the Surrounding Environment, 15 ) Staying Energetic, 16) Helping ResidentsConclusion:  Post-tsunami elderly need support from families and communities to have good resilience and activities to eliminate trauma. It is hoped that this research can be the basis for further research on post-disaster resilience of the elderly.

Objective - The present study aims to describe the challenges of recruitment and selection systems encountered in Indonesia, to ultimately identify the factors influencing the rationale for recruitment and selection processes. Methodology/Technique - A case study approach is used with in-depth interview method for explaining the challenges of recruitment and selection systems applied in Indonesia. The procedure of data analysis consists of three actions that take place instantaneously: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Findings - The findings of this study show that an organisation can obtain qualified personnel who meet their requirements through the application of effective principles in the process of recruitment and selection, in addition to adopting the principles of clarity, planning, legal aspects, accuracy, fairness, honesty, and trust from HR. Novelty - The empirical implications of this study provide a deeper understanding of the resource-based theory. Which explains that humans, as assets of an organization, must be recruited and selected with the right procedures and processes to ensure they provide value to the organization and increase its credibility. In addition, the findings of this study can be adopted by organizations within their recruitment systems, to capture competent candidates for recruitment. Hence, the results of this study further the development of the current principle of human capital for organizations. Interpersonal communication is needed by interfaith couples as an effort to maintain relationships so that this couple's marriage lasts. There are several elements of communication that can be used to maintain relationships, besides there are also ways and types of maintaining relationships. This article aims to determine and explain the influence of interpersonal communication in the households of interfaith couples in Kalibago Hamlet, Kalipang Village, Grogol District, Kediri Regency. By using a case study approach. In-depth interview method for extracting data with interview guidelines aimed at informants of interfaith family couples. The resource persons were determined using a purpose sampling technique with a qualitative phenomenological approach. The results of the study indicate that there are couples who are able to live a lasting life by using ways to uphold the value of honesty, openness and providing support to each partner who has different religions and beliefs, and children are considered as a couple's goal to maintain their harmonious relationship. Meanwhile, the type of interpersonal communication that is often developed is face-to-face communication.

ABSTRAKPendahuluan : manejemen keperawatan adalah proses pengelolahan fungsi manajemen untuk memberikan asuhan keperawatan, ketidak efektifan peran kepala ruangan dalam menjalankan fungsi manajemen dengan baik akan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perawat dalam menjalankan tanggung jawabnya termasuk proses pelayanan keperawatan. Peneliti menemukan ada masalah yang terjadi pada tenaga perawat diantaranya, ada tenaga perawat datang dinas terlambat, ada yang mengeluh tentang alat-alat kesehatan kurang berfungsi dengan baik, dan ada yang sulit untuk diajak menjadi sukarelawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengalaman penanggung jawab ruangan dalam menerapkan fungsi manajemen di Puskesmas Tembelang Jombang. Metodiologi : metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara mendalam. Sampel yang diambil dengan cara purposive sampling meliputi 5 informan. Hasil : penelitian ini memperoleh delapan tema, antara lain : 1) kegiatan yang mengatur dan mengawasi, 2) penyusunan rencana kegiatan diruangan 3) belum adanya visi misi yang spesifik 4) pengelompokkan tugas di ruangan 5) kegiatan pengorganisasian pasien dan perawat 6) motivasi kinerja 7) penerapan komunikasi keperawatan di ruangan 8) kegiatan pengawasan di ruangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penangung jawab ruangan mengelola ruang keperawatan dengan makna-makna yang mereka pahami.Kata kunci : Pengalaman, Manajemen keperawatan, Penangung Jawab Ruangan Nursing management is an effort to provide nursing care as good as possible because the ineffective role of the head of the public health in carrying out management functions properly will affect the performance of nurses to do their responsibilities. Researchers found that there are some problems that occurred, such as; still some nurses come late, some nurses complained about the health equipment which is not functioning properly, and some of the nurses were difficult to be invited to volunteer. The purpose of this study was to determine the experience of the person in charge of the room in implementing management functions at Tembelang Public Health Centre, Jombang. The methodology that is used in this research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection using an in-depth interview method. Samples were taken using purposive sampling with 5 informants. The result shows; there are eight themes, they are: 1) managing and supervising activities, 2) preparation of work plan in the room, 3) there is no specific vision and mission, 4) develop the task groups in the room, 5) organizing activities for patients and nurses 6) performance motivation, 7) implementing nursing communication in the room, 8) monitoring activities in the room. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the person in charge of the room manages the medical ward with the meanings they understand. This paper focuses on how interpersonal communication is built to achieveagreement and uses phenomenological approach. It is based on a research on therelationship between lecturer and student in the process of thesis consultation inSTAIN Purwokerto.This paper explains that the model of their relationship is a role model, inwhich the role is formed through a surrounding structure. Form and context ofinterpersonal communication happen in a kind of face to face dialogues andindividually. The process of communication hardly found in groups, or withcommunication media such as telephone and internet. Seen from its effectiveness,it is found that most of the interpersonal communications are effective enough tobuild agreement between the individuals involved in the process.

Abstract The tendency of migration of Lao workers to Thailand is likely to increase especially migration pattern is social network. The objective of this research was to study factors effecting the migration through social network of Lao workers in Udon Thani. Qualitative research method was applied in the study. Unit of analysis was group level. In-depth interview guideline was applied to collect data from 15 Laotian workers. The research site was Udon Thani, Thailand. Participatory observation and non-participatory observation were use for additional data collection. The ATLAS.ti programme was applied to categorize data, and data analysis was based on the content analysis method. The research results showed that the crucial push factors which contributed migration among Laotian workers included Udon Thani Unemployment in residency, and low revenue in residency and important pull factors include higher compensation, worker demand of establishments in Udon Thani province, Laotian employers' values in Udon Thani, and social network of Laotian workers in destination.
