Globalization is a fundamental integrative social mechanism, in which two stages can be distinguished: “technogenic globalization” and “human-induced globalization”. The result of a phase transition from the first stage to the second should be the final formation of an information society. The aim of the study was the theoretical substantiation of globalization as a mechanism for a transition to an information society, and identification of the role and place of technogenesis in it. The paper considers the essence of a transition to an information society in the context of the replacement of technogenic globalization with human-induced globalization, and draws a conclusion about the place of technogenesis and artificial intelligence, as its institution, in human-induced globalization. It is shown that at the present stage, human-induced globalization should be implemented with a focus on the following directions of technogenesis: a) formation of breakthrough directions of development of the “Human Variable of society”; b) ensuring the demand for innovative development; c) acquisition by society of a new development resource – “human-energy-informational plasma”; d) formation of a new “capital” mechanism – the mechanism of self-growth of the value of social life on the basis of the investment flow of human-energy-informational plasma.

XX в. The historiographic analysis of the development of the concept of large social groups and historical and psychological study of social phenomena associated with mass social phenomena was presented. Topical problems of the psychology of large social groups are formulated, including heterogeneity of the grounds for their isolation, insufficient differentiation with similar concepts, uneven research in various periods, and ideological loading of the history of its development. The study's main problem was the need to replenish the processes in such groups that took place in various historical periods of social psychology development as well as a synthesis of this holistic picture at the level of modern understanding and the formulation of promising areas of research. The study's purpose was to establish a connection between the definition and the basic properties of the concept of "large social groups" (and its synonyms, analogs) and the peculiarities of the social situation in a certain period, as well as the reconstruction of social processes of this historical segment. The hypothesis was tested that large social groups as phenomena of social life were formed under the past time. The concept and its properties were corresponding to them, on the one hand, compared to the level of development of humanitarian knowledge. On the other, they tried to satisfy the social and political requests to understand and manage the social situation. Methods of the historiography of the history of social psychology and psychological and historical reconstruction were used. The article's first part was devoted to the analysis of the early two stages of the development of social psychology - from the middle of the XIX to the beginning of the XX centuries and 1920 of the XX century.

Sustainable development aims at transforming existing way of development, which is gradually moving towards our planet’s ecosystem destruction and hypertrophied economic growth at the cost of other social life areas. In this paper, we prove that sustainable development of society implies changing methods of development themselves. The aim of this paper is to study possibilities and prospects for implementing principles of sustainable development in education sector, which essence is understood as developing ways of development and thinking themselves. To achieve this goal, dialectics is used as general theory of development, specifically its distinctive ability to differentiate qualitative, essential development from quantitative growth, quantitative transition within one essence. This paper proves that sustainable development is impossible without radical transformation of ways of activity, production, thinking and world perception. In this context, alternative potential, represented by “information society” models, is analyzed. Considering that desired model of sustainable development of society should not be only abstract ideal, it is proved that it might and should be embodied in daily practical activities today. Education as an area for intersubjective interaction where development of human subjectivity takes place has always been not only sector fulfilling existing society demands but also anticipating future society opportunities.

This year replete with so many anniversaries related to the energy sector sees the centenary celebration of the GOELRO Plan. This event is remarkable for energy studies: a complex energy method that backed up the Plan development half a century later became one of the preconditions for the development of the methodology of systems analysis of the energy development. The groundwork of this methodology was laid at SEI/ESI SB RAS (Siberian Energy Institute. Melentiev Energy Systems Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences) founded by Academician L.A. Melentiev; the institute celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. Half a century ago, an 'off-site' department of the SEI was established in Moscow and 15 years later it was reorganized into ERI RAS (Energy Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences) and GKNT (State Committee for Science and Technology). The paper focuses on the background of the development of the theory and methods of systems analysis of energy development, covers its main theoretical and applied contributions in two stages of social and economic development of the country, discusses evolution of this research area and its possible adoption in the alternative (mobilization-type and liberal) concepts of shaping 'the information society’ of the future.

Actualization of the study of the phenomenon of the "golden age" of the Kyiv Metropolis is due to many factors, the key place of which is the idea of national-religious self-identification of Ukrainians at the present stage of state-building and development of the Ukrainian nation. This complex task is inextricably linked with the idea of sovereignty and unity of the state, which is one of the important prerequisites for the proclamation of the autocephalous structure and territoriality of the church, and therefore requires not only theoretical substantiation but also the search for historical and title models of its realization, one of which is the idea Ukrainian Patriarchate as a Local Church. This idea, left to us by inheritance as a great devotee of faith and piety, is a church-religious and political figure, a scientist and theologian, the first-priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Peter Mogila, and still remains unrealized to this day.
