The agricultural sector has an important role in the national economy in Indonesia, especially in accommodating the labor. The contribution of the agricultural sector to economic growth has decreased in the last few years, especially from 2011 to 2019. On the other hand, it still should accommodate more workers than it should be. It shows that there is inequality in Indonesia’s economic structure. This research used the Two Stage Least Square (2SLS) method to estimate whether or not the simultaneous relationship between economic growth and the shifting labor from the agricultural sector to nonagricultural sectors. The result shows that there is a simultaneous relationship between economic growth and labor shifting. On the other hand, economic growth and domestic investment in the agricultural sector significantly has negative effects towards the percentage of labor who work in the agricultural sectors. Furthermore, the HDI significantly has a positive effect on economic growth.

This study aims to analyze how the influence of the Domestic Investment variable in the agricultural sector, the number of workers in the agricultural sector and agricultural sector exports on economic growth in South Sumatra Province. The data used are time series data for the period 2002 to 2019. The quantitative analysis technique is in the form of multiple linear regression analysis with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) estimation. The results showed that the variable that had a significant influence was the growth of agricultural exports with a coefficient of 0.012815, which means that a 1 percent increase in agricultural exports resulted in an increase in the economic growth of South Sumatra Province by 0.0128 percent. The growth variable in the number of workers in the agricultural sector also has a significant effect with a prob value of 0.054 and an influence coefficient of 0.034019 where an increase of 1 percent in the number of workers in the agricultural sector increases economic growth by 0.0340 percent. The domestic investment variable in the agricultural sector has no significant effect on economic growth in South Sumatra. The agricultural sector continues to play a role in economic growth because it absorbs a large workforce and its contribution to Gross Regional Domestic Product is still significant. The conclusion of this study shows the reality that the agricultural sector still contributes to the economy of South Sumatra in the absorption of labor and the role of primary exports. Domestic investment in the agricultural sector has a relatively insignificant effect on economic growth, mainly due to fluctuating agricultural commodity prices which affect the expected profit levels and expectations of future economic conditions.

One of the problems exist in almost all countries is unemployment that has not been resolved perfectly. It occurs because employment cannot absorb all the job seekers who have diverse expertise, as well as domestic investment that is still unable to create new jobs. Indonesia which has an increase of population above the economic growth has not been able to alleviate unemployment so that it needs to encourage and enlarge export services. Researchers take unemployment, economic growth, and remittance as the topic of discussion, where data reveals that number of unemployed people increases very rapidly and remittances tend to be stable. The method used in this study is Ordinary Least Square (OLS) with the study location in Indonesia and using annual data (time series) from 1984 to 2016. The research results show that remittances, population growth, and economic growth have a significant positive effect on unemployment, while investment has a significant negative effect on unemployment. In the end, the problem of unemployment cannot be resolved partially but need to jointly encourage all possible variables for the solution.

ABSTRACT Although paper note issuance increased dramatically in Argentina during the Triple Alliance War, inflation was not significant. This occurred because only a fraction of the increase in paper bills led to an expansion of the money supply, the rest being currency substitution. On the other hand, an increase in the demand for money for transactions was generated by rapid economic growth.

The activities of misbehaving customers represent a significant problem for organizations across diverse sectors and industries. Their need for satisfaction is the most important driver of consumer behavior with the consumer choosing how they fulfill this need. Unfortunately, consumer decisions often lead to consumer misbehavior and negative effects on the service provider or on other consumers. Consumer misbehavior is difficult to control. First, it is not always possible to prove misbehavior of a particular consumer. On the other hand, preventive actions, like social campaigns, may not always reach the target audience. Moreover, neither service provider regulations nor monitoring of infrastructure sufficiently prevents consumers from misbehaving in every case. It seems, however, that the consumers who reject the fraudulent behavior of others have a crucial role in the fight against consumer misbehavior, as they are constant observers of this phenomenon and can react immediately. The aim of this article, therefore, is to present the concept of consumer misbehavior with examples relating to the tourism market. Moreover, the attitudes of consumers towards consumer misbehavior are examined through nethnographic research.
