Abstract The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has become a super institution with extraordinary restraint. With the new Corruption Eradication Commission Law, some people think that the KPK has been weakened, which has been an institution loved by the public, even though the government denies that the new KPK Law has not weakened the KPK at all. One of the new things is the formation of the KPK Supervisory Body, one of which has the authority to grant permission to the KPK to conduct searches, which in fact has an impact on the problems at hand. The method used is a normative legal research method. The approach used is a statutory approach. The data used are secondary data obtained by literature study and primary data obtained by conducting interviews with related party respondents. There has been a shift in the meaning of Barriers to Justice as stated in Article 221 of the Criminal Code with Article 221 of the Corruption Eradication Law where Article 221 of the Criminal Code views Obstruction of Justice as a material offense while for Article 21 of the Corruption Eradication Law, Judicial Obstruction is seen as a formal offense. On the other hand, the actions of the Supervisory Board in granting licenses for searches, confiscation, etc. are not automatically considered a disturbance of justice unless it can be proven that the elements of wrongdoing committed by the Supervisory Board can be proven.   Keywords : Corruption, Authority, Obstruction Of Justice.

Education is one of the most important aspects in a person's life because it will affect his life for the better in the future. They will have the opportunity to get a better job, better marriage and so on. However, in developing countries, poverty is still one of the factors that prevent poor households from accessing education for their children. Therefore, it is necessary for the government to provide accessible education by poor households. One obstacle for governments to provide educational services is the cost of providing them. Therefore, in this research will be simulated the transfer of fuel subsidy for the provision of education services using the SUBSIM analysis tool. Based on the scenario built, it was found that the most enjoying the price of education services decline was the poor households with the highest 20% per capita consumption expenditure. They had higher education expenditure compared to other households. Therefore, the challenge of the government is how to encourage poor households to  send their children for higher education

This paper looks at student political activism in Ghana in the late 1950s and 1960s. Using Ghanaian and British archives, it examines how students of Ghana’s universities politically engaged with the government of Kwame Nkrumah and his ruling Convention People’s Party (CPP). Student activism manifested most in the conflict between the Nkrumah government, on one hand, and university authorities and students, on the other hand, over the purpose of higher education, university autonomy, and nationalism. The conflict coalesced around the idea of educated youth as model citizens. Contrary to the denial in existing literature, the paper argues that a nascent student movement and tradition of student political activism had emerged since the late 1950s. University student activism established itself as a fulcrum of the country’s evolving postcolonial political order and a bulwark against governmental authoritarianism. In the larger context of the global 1960s, Ghanaian student activism belonged to the wave of youth protests against governments that favored stability and opposed all dissent.

ABSTRACTThis research, exploratory nature, aims to identify the current scenario of degrees in Science and Mathematics in Brazil, its weaknesses and offer. The number of vacancies in the IES Degree courses in Science and Mathematics is insufficient to meet demand in teacher training in this area? That was the question that guided the investigation. In this sense, we try to see if there are no vacancies, if there was a reduction in enrollment, evaluate evasion, estimate the annual public spending on vacancies unoccupied in 2011, these degrees. In response to the question presented in this study, the results corroborate the analysis of Tardif and Lessard (2009), with the prospect of an increase in the deficit of teachers. On the other hand, the survey indicated that the financial resources expended by the Government, especially in public institutions, little impact due to the high percentage of evasion, considering the offered vacancies and loss of students during the process. About 920 million reais annually, only in public HEIs, the resources made available for training of science and mathematics teachers do not produce effective results.RESUMOEsta investigação, de natureza exploratória, tem como objetivo identificar o atual cenário das licenciaturas de Ciências e Matemática no Brasil, suas fragilidades e oferta. Contacto principal: [email protected]

This article makes case of how South Africa has been able to use its laws and policies to achieve its objectives of regulating private higher education. This happened in the context of an ascendancy of neo-liberal policies which favoured deregulation and the rolling back of the state. Through these policies the government was able to protect the public even during the global financial crisis as it had registered credible and financially sound institutions which could weather off the financial crises which affected many private companies worldwide.

Economy politics that were formed with neoliberalism affected media industry like it affected all the other spheres of economy. The concentration of media structures in the world, the companies which work in the media industry being worked in the other spheres of economy, the struggle of these companies against the regulations about the media and their emphasis on the cancellation of these regulations; and the international activities of media companies attract the attention of the public for the last 50 years approximately. These developments in the media industry have been experienced in Turkey and these continued to be experienced. Neoliberal politics that were applied after 1980s caused important changes in the media industry. Another important point that attracts the attention is that even though the media actors have changed; the number of the structures that are active in media is limited and this number has not been changed for years. This paper aims to put forward the changes in the media industry in Turkey and the structures that have been shaped around these changes in the framework of neoliberal policies which were started in 1980s. In this paper a qualitative research design is used and ownership structures are analysed to investigate the changes in Turkey’s media industry since 1980s. Consequently it is seen that media actors have been changed but their numbers stayed the same. Furthermore the ownership structure of the media that is formed as a result of these developments and the organic bond between the Government is underlined.
