Relevance of diversity researches in natural and urban protected landscapes is widely recognized in world. The aim of our work was to study the current state of the rare phytobiota of protected and promising objects of one of the most plowed areas of Kharkiv district – Zachepilovsky. This article represents the results of phytobiots studies in 5 preservation areas of Zachepylivskyi district in Kharkiv region and in 5 perspective sanctuary zones, which are planned to be created as a part of the ecological network. Almost all surveyed territories have remained in a slightly disturbed state. They give a fulfilling representation of the natural vegetation in studied zone: true and shrub steppes, floodplain oak and alder forests, saline and marshy meadows, coastal-aquatic and aquatic vegetation. The rare phytobiots include 13 protected plant groups, three of which (Stipeta capillatae, Stipeta lessingianaea, Stipeta borysthenicae), are listed in the Green Book of Ukraine and 26 species of rare flora, 10 of which are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine: Anacamptis palustris (Jacq.) R.M. Bateman, Pridgeon et M.W. Chase, Crambe aspera M. Bieb., Dactylorhiza maculata (L.) Soо s.l., Gladiolus tenuis M. Bieb., Fritillaria meleagroides Patrin ex Schult. et Schult.f., Ornithogalum boucheanum (Kunth) Asch., Stipa borysthenica Klokov ex Prokudin, S. capillata L., S. lessingiana Trin. et Rupr., Tulipa quercetorum Klokov et Zoz. The largest degree of rare phyto-diversity was perceived in wetland area - the Orel River Flood, where 2 groups from the Green Book of Ukraine, 4 groups from the Green List of Kharkiv region, 6 rare species from the Red Book of Ukraine and 8 from the Red List of Kharkiv region are growing.

The study of the phytobiota of the Dergachiv and Zolochiv districts of the Kharkiv region has proved that there are 15 protected areas and 3 perspective territories for building reserves, which are characterized by significant cenotic and floristic diversity. These are meadow, real and shrub steppes; hollows of oak; real and swampy meadows; coastal water and aquatic vegetation, where 4 rare for Ukrainian vegetative groups (Nymphaeeta albae, Nuphareta luteae, Stipeta capillatae, Stipeta pennatae) and 41 species of plants are protected: 10 species listed in the Red Book of Ukraine (RBU): Adonis vernalis L., Anacamptis palustris (Jacq.) R.M.Bateman, Pridgeon et M.W.Chase, Dactylorhiza incarnata (L.) Soo s.l., D. maculata (L.) Soo s.l., D. majalis (Reichenb.) P.F.Hunt et Summerhayes s.l., Iris furcate M.Bieb., Pulsatilla pratensis (L.) Mill. s.l., Stipa capillata L., S. pennata L., Tulipa quercetorum Klokov et Zoz, and 31 species from the Red List of Kharkiv area (RLK): Actaea spicata L., Aconitum lasiostomum Rchb., Clematis integrifolia L., Gentiana cruciata L., Sanguisorba officinalis L., Thalictrum lucidum L. etc. For each of the surveyed areas lists of rare species and plant groups are given. Phytososological analysis shows the degree of representativeness of the rare phytobiota of the investigated areas and the almost direct correlation between the area of the protected area and the quantitative indices of phytodiversity. The greatest degree of rare phytodiversity has been revealed on the territory of the planned Rogozian landscape reserve of about 2 thousand hectares (4 groups from the Green Book of Ukraine (GBU), 7 species from the RBU, 16 from the RLK); somewhat less in the planned hydrological reserve "Snigivsky" (2 groups from GBU, 1 species from the RBU, 6 from the RLK), in the regional landscape park "Vilkhova balka" (2 species from the RBU, 7 from the RLK), in the “Lychane” botanical reserve (1 group from GBU, 2 species from RBU, 2 from RLK) and in the entomological reserve "Udiansky" (6 species from RLK). In other territories, there are no more than three rare species of plants.

The International conference “Flora and conservation in the Caucasus: history and current state of knowledge” dedicated to the 130-year anniversary of the Perkalsky Arboretum took place at 22–25 of May 2019 in Pyatigorsk (Stavropol Territory) on the base of the Pyatigorsk Museum of local lore and natural history. The participants were from 11 cities of Russia and 7 Republics of the Caucasus and represented 14 institutions. Proceedings of the conference were published by the beginning of the meeting the book of abstracts includes 49 papers on the study of vascular plants, bryophytes, lichens and fungi, plant communities, as well as the protection of rare and endangered species, unique plant communities, and ecological problems in the Caucasus. The following geobotanical topics were highlighted in 13 papers: forest communities (3 reports), meadow and steppe vegetation (2), xeric open forests (2), communities of ecotone areas (1), structure of populations of rare plant species (3), as well as the history and current status of nature protected areas (2). The great emphasis has been focused on the study of floristic composition and plant populations. Thus, the conference showed that very few studies от vegetation are currently carried out in the Caucasus, and a lot of districts are not affected by the research. The greatest attention is paid to forest vegetation while meadow, steppe, alpine heath and xerophytic communities are studied rather poorly. Besides, there are “white spots” — mire, floodplain and aquatic vegetation. In nowadays, when the anthropogenic impact on the plant cover of the Caucasus is intensively increasing, it is especially important to study natural undisturbed communities preserved in protected natural areas. Another important issue is the conservation of the unique vegetation cover of the whole Caucasus. Thus, the study of vegetation of this region opens a wide field for researchers using various methods of modern plant science.

Machine translation (MT) is an important task in natural language processing (NLP), as it automates the translation process and reduces the reliance on human translators. With the resurgence of neural networks, the translation quality surpasses that of the translations obtained using statistical techniques for most language-pairs. Up until a few years ago, almost all of the neural translation models translated sentences independently , without incorporating the wider document-context and inter-dependencies among the sentences. The aim of this survey article is to highlight the major works that have been undertaken in the space of document-level machine translation after the neural revolution, so researchers can recognize the current state and future directions of this field. We provide an organization of the literature based on novelties in modelling and architectures as well as training and decoding strategies. In addition, we cover evaluation strategies that have been introduced to account for the improvements in document MT, including automatic metrics and discourse-targeted test sets. We conclude by presenting possible avenues for future exploration in this research field.

Since recently almost all housing built in Korean have shared walls and floor, diverse problems are unavoidable including noise between floor arising from noise and vibration. Many efforts have been made by the Korean government, but the number of complaints related with the noise between floors has been gradually increasing. Therefore, through the field measurements by house type, the current state of noise was understood. To do this, the noise between floors was measured in an apartment household and a multiplex house to perform a comparative analysis. As the result, the differences in the noise between the two house types were clarified. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to reduction of the noise between floors in an apartment building in the future.

Background. This paper evaluates the status of reporting information related to the usage and ethical issues of artificial intelligence (AI) procedures in clinical trial (CT) papers focussed on radiology issues as well as other (non-trial) original radiology articles (OA). Material and Methods. The evaluation was performed by three independent observers who were, respectively physicist, physician and computer scientist. The analysis was performed for two groups of publications, i.e., for CT and OA. Each group included 30 papers published from 2018 to 2020, published before guidelines proposed by Liu et al. (Nat Med. 2020; 26:1364-1374). The set of items used to catalogue and to verify the ethical status of the AI reporting was developed using the above-mentioned guidelines. Results. Most of the reviewed studies, clearly stated their use of AI methods and more importantly, almost all tried to address relevant clinical questions. Although in most of the studies, patient inclusion and exclusion criteria were presented, the widespread lack of rigorous descriptions of the study design apart from a detailed explanation of the AI approach itself is noticeable. Few of the chosen studies provided information about anonymization of data and the process of secure data sharing. Only a few studies explore the patterns of incorrect predictions by the proposed AI tools and their possible reasons. Conclusion. Results of review support idea of implementation of uniform guidelines for designing and reporting studies with use of AI tools. Such guidelines help to design robust, transparent and reproducible tools for use in real life.

After the establishment of diplomatic relations, Russia and South Korea have passed a difficult way of developing mutual understanding and a certain degree of mutual trust and practical actions. Their relationships have evolved from great optimism to pragmatic and balanced development and the current state characterized in the anniversary year by the slogan “Be friends. Trust. Act”. The republic of Korea has achieved almost all the goals set during the normalization of relations and received huge profits from the cooperation with Russia. Conversely, Russia has not achieved most of the goals and objectives set 30 years ago.

Understanding the current state of the Internationalisation of postgraduate courses in Brazil was essential to serve as a basis for constructing effective policies in funding agencies. It also helps to understand the capacity of the higher education institution to carry out more effective strategic planning and internationalisation plans. This study looks at replies to a Brazilian national funding agency (CAPES) questionnaire on Internationalisation within Higher Education Institutes in Brazil, based on the postgraduate experience. Results showed that Internationalisation is based on mobility with little comprehensive thinking on its role towards academic achievement within the Postgraduate Programs realities, beyond the mobile individual.  English language skills need to be improved. While most institutions have offices that treat this theme, they lack an active engagement with the postgraduate programs and strategic planning, seen as vital for almost all institutions.  Resources are necessary to build infrastructure and capacitate lecturers and staff to this end.

The shadow economy penetrates almost all economic spheres of society. It includes various economic relations that are outside the scope of the law in the areas of production, consumption, exchange and distribution. The obstruction of the shadow economy, which appears to be one of the basic threats to the economic security of the country, is an extremely relevant phenomenon at the present time. The current state of the shadow economy sector in Russia is developing very dynamically, which entails a negative impact on the socio-economic situation of the state. This mainly applies to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses that provide services and produce a variety of goods. The relevance of the chosen topic lies in the fact that now there is a large percentage of shadow income in Russia, while this money could be used for the formation and development of SMEs, especially during times of an acute pandemic, which would minimize economic tension and increase the effectiveness of public finances.

The making and breaking of σ bonds is an integral part of almost all photochemical reactions. Yet, the electronic states of σ electrons are not nearly as well understood as the states of π-electron systems. Efforts in our laboratory to enhance the current state of their understanding are described, using the specific example of oligosilanes. We address the intrinsically cyclic nature of σ delocalization and its dependence on chain length and conformation, both in terms of theory and spectroscopic experiments, from the simplest disilane chromophore to the spectral properties of the individual conformers of permethylated heptasilane. We also describe a new low-energy luminescence from certain conformers of permethylated oligosilanes.
