This paper aims to analyse the proposals coming from the students in technical higher education, more specifically Politehnica University of Bucharest (UPB), regarding the improvement of sports facilities. It also aims to analyse their options for the activities performed in this sports complex. The activities carried out by the UPB students during physical education and sports classes are related to motor activity, types of motor learning, types of skills and motor skills, motor qualities, as well as their functional somatic and psychological characteristics. For students, these activities should be an important component of both individual health and training, given that they enable them to properly react in daily living. The UPB Department of Physical Education and Sports-Kinetotherapy provides competitive and mass activity for the following curricular subjects: football, volleyball, handball, basketball, athletics, aerobic gymnastics, table tennis, badminton, and chess. The development of sports and their transformation from exclusive sports into mass sports (swimming, skiing, tennis, etc.) have determined the UPB students to introduce these activities among their preferences regarding physical activity. Sports facilities for indoor or outdoor activities, equipment and installations must keep up with the new technical advancements and must be able to ensure the continuation of sports activities.

The article considers the peculiarities of the use of volleyball in groups of sports improvement of students of higher education institutions. The current state of physical fitness of student youth is characterized. The need to improve the system of sports training of volleyball students in connection with changes in government, structural, logistical, economic conditions, the need to educate young people in a healthy lifestyle, one of the main factors of which should be daily exercise . It is established that the existing system of physical education of students on the basis of traditional provisions of current organizational and methodological programs does not provide fully effective rehabilitation, education and upbringing of students from the standpoint of conscious mandatory motor activity and personal needs in solving important tasks of personal development. The reforms carried out in the modern system of higher education have deeply affected the physical education of student youth. The most important role in the general and professional development of students of higher education institutions belongs to physical education, both as a discipline and as one of the subsystems of the holistic pedagogical process. One of the ways to solve this problem is to reorient the target programs of different types of physical culture to meet the needs of personal orientations, interests and personal goals of each student, more fully take into account the level of physical development and physical fitness, targeted use of training loads. It is for each of the cultivated types of sports activities in higher education institutions it is necessary to develop a goal, objectives, tools, forms and a comprehensive educational and training complex. This becomes possible only on the basis of the development and application of new educational and training technologies aimed at conscious motor activity of female students of higher education institutions in the chosen sport.

Game and physical activity are the main tools for children to learn because they learn quickly through personal experience and multi-sensor teaching methods which encourage their natural sense of curiosity. Game, in all its forms, presents numerous possibilities for interaction of children with persons and objects in real and imaginary situations. Small children must have a committed specialist to interact even with the parents. In this way children will try hard to improve what they know better by helping and inspiring them as a way promoting interest and will to continue learning. Scholars consider quite positive the involvement of parents in the learning process because parents are constantly informed of the situation and progress of their children. This applies even to the classes of physical education and training sessions in all sports disciplines where teacher- parent cooperation would strongly affect the improvement of their children performance. By knowing better the specifics of sports activities and its role in their psycho-motor development, there have to be used all the possibilities to encourage children to be involved in sports activities and there have to be found all the possibilities to increase their performance. From ower experience as teacher of physical education, trainer of young ages and professional basketballer I have learned that involvement of parents and cooperation with them is extremely useful and this is the reason why I have elaborated further on this topic. An ideal environment for the children is a teaching environment of work flow, high quality and careful programme planning.

Nurseries, coaching and improving the performance of sports not only in certain branches but also includes all sports activities in the community including Sepaktakraw sports. The sport of Sepaktakraw is very interesting, and it needs to be taken seriously because the game of Sepaktakraw is a very useful game and has developed a lot in Indonesia, especially in West Sumatra. This sport is popular because Sepaktakraw is full of beautiful acrobatic movements and is beneficial for bodily health. Nurseries, coaching activities towards achieving maximum achievement for this need to be held various preparations, especially the problem of coaches, athletes, organizations, infrastructure, and training programs, in order to improve the achievement to a higher level. In an effort to improve the quality of motion and improve the achievements of athletes in the game Sepak takraw, the technique is very closely related to the ability of movement, physical condition, tactics, and mental. One of the most basic places for coaching is in schools and through Physical Education learning. In connection with this, it is necessary to have training in basic techniques of sepaktakraw games for Penjasorkes teachers in Primary Schools in Padang Utara District, Padang City so that teachers can begin to do sepaktakraw training for students since elementary school.

The article deals with the importance of table tennis on the emotional and physical state of students of higher educational institutions. The characteristics of the "Table tennis" program for female students of technical higher educational institutions are presented. The algorithm of the control system in the physical education of female students in the institution of higher education when teaching to play table tennis has been substantiated. The physical culture is in the outward and postal category of social life, and it is more straightforward and straightforward to be summed up with interests and peculiarities of a particular stage of historical development. For the fate of the social and economic reforms, the health of students in the field of health education will go down quickly. An analysis of the current situation of students, showing the value of the improvement in the number of students, who may have problems with their health. One of the reasons for such a camp is the low activity of young people, the greater their ability to study on a regular basis with the development of physical culture and sports during the period of intensive growth and development of the body. By the method of physical education of students in the development of food education є the formation of physical culture, specialty and health, in the form of training for the development of sports and tourism for the protection of health and professionalism. One of the main problems in organizing the educational process of female students is the establishment of motivation to engage in physical culture. The whole problem can be taken up by the organization of the chiefs from the physical education on the basis of different types of sports and systems of physical rights, the individuality of students and their interests.

Physical activity can be done by the community either individually or in groups. The community can take advantage of the sports facilities and infrastructure that are around it. The availability of adequate sports facilities and infrastructure is very important to increase the enthusiasm and motivation of the community in carrying out sports activities to be healthy for their bodies. The availability of facilities and infrastructure can also provide options for the community to do the sports they want. The availability of sports facilities and infrastructure for residents in RT 03 RW O6 Perum Polri Durenan Indah is still very lacking, thus affecting the interest of residents to carry out sports activities. Improving sports facilities and infrastructure by providing table tennis sports facilities and infrastructure is very helpful for residents in RT O3 RW 06, to increase physical activity. Residents take advantage of the facility every afternoon and fill weekend activities. Service activities are also directed at developing the talents and interests of children and young people in RT 03 RW 06, to develop themselves in the sport of table tennis. The youth and children are given knowledge about the basic techniques in playing table tennis. Some of the techniques given are serve, forehand and backhand..Aktivitas jasmani dapat dilakukan oleh masyarakat baik secara individu maupun berkelompok. Masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan sarana dan prasarana olahraga yang ada disekitarnya. Ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana olahraga yang memadai sangat penting dilakukan untuk meningkatkan semangat dan motivasi masyarakat dalam melakukan kegiatan olahraga untuk menjadi kesehatan tubuhnya. Ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana juga dapat memberikan pilihan kepada masyarakat untuk melakukan olahraga yang mereka inginkan. Ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana olahraga  bagi warga di RT 03 RW O6 Perum Polri Durenan Indah masih sangat kurang, sehingga mempengaruhi minat warga untuk melakukan aktivitas olahraga. Peningkatan sarana dan prasarana olahraga dengan menyediakan sarana dan prasarana olahraga tenis meja sangat membantu warga di RT O3 RW 06, untuk meningkatkan aktivitas jasmani. Warga memanfaatkan fasilitas itu setiap sore dan mengisi kegiatan akhir pekan. Kegiatan pengabdian juga diarahkan untuk mengembangkan bakat dan minat anak-anak dan para remaja di RT 03 RW 06, untuk mengembangkan diri pada olahraga tenis meja. Para remaja dan anak-anak diberikan pengetahuan tentang teknik dasar dalam bermain tenis meja. Beberapa teknik yang diberikan yaitu servis, forehand dan backhand.

The peculiarities of the appearance of faculties of physical education at pedagogical and classical higher educational institutions of socialist Romania are considered. The reasons for the government's choice of those 12 higher educational institutions in which in the 60's of the twentieth century. faculties of physical education and sports were opened, the motives of the then authorities for active support of the newly formed training network were singled out, and demonstration at the international level of successes in training a high-level athlete was singled out as a priority. The author notes that foreigners entered the faculties of physical education at the universities of communist Romania - more than 10% (144 people) were foreigners from Cyprus, Colombia, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Gabon, Libya, Portugal, Syria, Sweden and Tunisia (University of Cluj-Napoca). The changes in higher education in the field that took place in the 70s of the XX century are analyzed: the restructuring of the faculties of physical education and sports in the structure of pedagogical faculties is determined, and later their replacement by sections; changes in the duration of training - reduction to 3 years and further introduction of the year of specialization. It is proved that in 1983 all departments were liquidated and training for children's and youth schools and sports clubs, educational institutions of all levels, physical culture and sports societies was entrusted only to the Institute of Physical Education and Sports of Bucharest.

Athletic identifi cation indicates the level of person’s identifi cation with a role of an athlete. Different levels of sports identifi cations are typical of all people: those who are sports professionals as well as those who only exercise. The students at the Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education (LAPE) are prepared to be sports coaches and teachers of physical education, and only some students choose the career of a professional athlete, so their identifi cation with sports activities at the academy and their athletic identifi cation might be rather different. The aim of the research was to reveal the manifestation of would-be physical education and sports specialists’ athletic identifi cation at the institution of higher education. The empirical research involved the triangulation of qualitative and quantitative methods. The questionnaire was used to determine the general tendencies of the research participants’ athletic identifi cation, and the interview was meant to establish its content and specifi c features. The research results have important implications for the personnel of the institutions of higher education attemp-ting to facilitate student personal growth through participation in sports activities. The links of students’ athletic identifi cation with the variables in the higher school environment shows the presence of a pervasive athletic culture (Ferris et al., 2004) which results in the educational experience at the Academy. Athletic culture is experienced by students — athletes during their years of competitive, educational, and social development. Students — athletes’ fi rst contact with university environment is mediated through institutions — friends, coaches, practice and competitions. In some cases these factors increase athletes’ satisfaction with collegiate experience and promote continued persistence toward a degree. Research results let us conclude that athletic identifi cation at the institution of higher education is determined by students’ activity in sports, their sports aspirations and plans, evaluations of sporting conditions at the higher school and perception of the importance of sports activities. Athletic culture at the institution of higher education is both the precondition and the outcome of students’ favorable athletic identifi cation. Research revealed the links between the manifestation of students’ athletic identifi cation and the following sociodemographic and other factors: gender, academic achievements and academic identifi cation, sports aspirations, living place, professional identifi cation, feelings and the evaluation of their higher school.Keywords: athletic identification, athletic culture, institution of higher education.
