This study aims to determine the influence of reward on job satisfaction in PDAM Tirta Lontar,Kupang Regency. The method used in this study is a survey method with a quantitative approach.The sample in this study was taken using simple random sampling technique with Slovin method bytaking 67 respondents from the entire population. Primary data obtained by questionnaire filleddirectly by the respondent. The results of this study indicate that the reward is positive and significantwith a coefficient of 1.095 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Reward

Environmental pollution is the undesirable change in physical, chemical and biological characteristics of air, land and water. As a result of over-population, rapid industrializations, and other human activities like agriculture and deforestation etc., earth became loaded with diverse pollutants that were released as by-products. The paper is an attempt to identify the awareness on environmental pollution among BEd student teachers. The investigator adopted the survey method to study the awareness on environmental pollution among BEd student teachers. The study is based on primary data which is collected from 300 BEd student teachers in and around Coimbatore district using simple random sampling technique. The findings reveal that there is a difference in the level of awareness on environmental pollution among BEd student teachers.FCASR

Language and life are inter-related. The scope of language is widened with the widening scope of human activity. Today there is no activity, which does not find its expression in terms of language. Listening and reading are passive or receptive skills and speaking and writing are active or productive skills. The paper is an attempt to find to identify the receptive skills in English among B.Ed trainees. The investigator adopted the survey method to study receptive skills of B.Ed trainees. The study is based on primary data which is collected from 300 BEd trainees in and around Coimbatore district using simple random sampling technique. The findings reveal that totally 25% of the selected B.Ed. trainees belong to low level of receptive skill, 46.6% of the selected BEd trainees belong to moderate level of receptive skill, 26.6% of the selected BEd trainees belong to high level of receptive skill. Also it is found that there is no significant difference in receptive among the selected B.Ed trainees based on gender and locality.

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of tax service, tax penalty, and taxpayers’ awareness on  taxpayers’ compliance. The population included individual taxpayers registered in the Tax Service Office of Merauke. The primary data were collected in a survey method by giving questionnaires to 187 respondents; and the sample were selected by using simple random sampling. The data were then analysed by using multiple linear regression method with SPSS program. The results revealed that all variables in the hypothesis testing have positive parameter coefficient. The effect of  tax service, tax penalty, and taxpayers’ awareness on taxpayers’ compliance are significant, as all t-statistic value are greater than t-table 1.653 at a significance level of 5%.

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of stress and job satisfaction toward the Authorities of Education, Youth and Sport of Bukittinggi, West Sumatera Employee’s absenteeism. The research was conducted by using survey method with quantitative approach and path analysis technique. The population of this research is 103 personnel. Research samples selected as much as 82 personnel using simple random sampling technique. The data obtained through questionnaires and analyzed by using path analysis techniques. Based on the results of the data analysis in this research it is concluded: (1) stress has direct positive effect to absenteeism; (2) job satisfaction has direct negative effect to absenteeism; (3) stress has negative effect to job satisfaction

This study aims to examine the Influence of Job Insecurity, Job Satisfaction and Job Stress on Turnover Intention with Organitational Commitment as Intervening Variable.This research uses a quantitive approach with a survey method. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The population in this study amounted 291 employees and the sample used amounted 75 employees of PT Lumina Packaging. Technical data analysis using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with Warppls 5.0 software. The result of this research found that Job Insecurity have a direct and significant  effect on Turnover Intention by 28%, Job Satisfaction have a direct and significant effect on Turnover Intention by 41%, Job Stress have a direct and significant effect on Turnover Intention by 19%, Job Insecurity have a direct and significant effect on Organitational Commitment by 24%, Job Satisfaction have a direct and significant effect on Organitational Commitment by 19%, Job Stress have a direct and significant effect on Organitational Commitment by 20%, and Organitational Commitment have a direct and significant effect on Turnover Intention by 23%. Job Insecurity have an indirect effect on Turnover Intention through Organitational Commitment as an intervening variable by 47%, Job Satisfaction have an indirect effect on Turnover Intention through Organitational Commitment as an intervening variable 42%, Job Stress have an indirect effect on Turnover Intention through Organitational Commitment as an intervening variable by 43%.

Attitude is defined as a settled way of thinking or feeling about something. Allport (1954) defines attitude as a “learned disposition to think, feel and behave toward a person (or object) in a particular way.” Language is a system of conventional spoken, manual, or written symbols by means of which human beings, as members of a social group and participants in its culture, express themselves. The functions of language include communication, the expression of identity, play imaginative expression and emotional release. This paper is an attempt to identify the attitude towards learning languages among high school students. The investigator adopted the survey method to study the attitude towards learning languages among high school students. The study is based on primary data which was collected from 300 high school students in and around Thrissur district using simple random sampling technique. The findings reveal that there is a difference in the level of attitude towards learning languages among high school students.

This study aims to find out the effect of the organizational culture on job satisfaction of the employees of PT Telkom of Palembang Regional Office. The population was all employees of PT Telkom of Palembang Regional Office with the total number of 154 people and the number of the sample was 61 respondents taken using simple random sampling technique. The method of data collection used a questionnaire for getting the primary data. To support the primary data, the secondary data were collected using interview and documentation technique. The method of data analysis used simple linear regression. The data were processed using the application of Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) Version 20. The result of the study shows that the organizational culture significantly influences the job satisfaction of the employees of PT Telkom of Palembang Regional Office. The research is proposed to test the influence of Leadership and Motivation Work on Public Service Quality. The population in this study was the Kantor Kementerian Agama Sungai Penuh who had received the last 1 year service at the Kantor Kementerian Agama Sungai Penuh, amounting to 260 people. Furthermore, by using the Slovin formula, a sample size of 158 people was chosen with a sampling technique based on Simple Random Sampling. This study uses primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques used are path analysis and hypothesis testing using t test with data analysis using SPSS version 20. The results of the study based on showing that partially the Leadership and motivation work have a positive and significant effect on Public Service Quality. The results also show that motivation work variables act as intervening variables between Leadership and Public Service Quality.

Sustainable economic development does not occur without entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship is the practice of starting new organizations or revitalizing mature organizations. This study therefore is done to analyse the impact of innovation, technology and on the entrepreneurial development activities in Nigeria. Simple random sampling technique was used to select a total of 12 entrepreneurs from Lagos State that constituted our sample size. The primary data consists of a number of items in well- structured questionnaire that was administered to and completed by the respondents. Regression analysis was used to analyse the data. The results showed that there is significant relationship between technological innovation and entrepreneurship development in Nigeria. It is therefore recommended that government should create a friendly or an enabling environment for entrepreneurship and consumer goods to boost the Nigeria economy.
