The work of Ukrainian artists who have contributed to Ukrainian and international art, is not sufficiently disclosed. Their creative search impresses with versatility, interesting decision, continues to impress and inspire contemporaries. Purpose of the article — to find out the contribution of the Ukrainian avant-garde artist, set designer, teacher Oleksandra Ekster, to the Ukrainian and international fine arts. Oleksandra Ekster’s work has been the subject of research for decades. Scientists are interested in the painter’s art search, her contribution to Ukrainian avant-garde, scenography reforms, and teaching activity. Some sources may state that Ekster is a representative of Russian avant-garde. However, the artist grew up in Kyiv, obtained art education and promoted with her work not only Ukrainian but world avant-garde as well. The research of modern scientists (H. Kovalenko, D. Horbachova, T. Filevska, N. Stoliarchuk, M. Yur and others) makes it possible to review the artist’s life and artistic journey as well as her contribution to art history. The research methodology consists of a range of methods: historical, biographical, theoretical. The abovementioned methodological approach allows studying the question of historical data relating to the events in Ukraine that led to the emigration waves, finding out certain biographical facts and analyzing the artist’s creative activity.

Resumen: El año 2020 ha estado marcado por una pandemia global causante de una situación extraña e impredecible a nivel planetario. Todos los países del mundo se encuentran en procesos de prevención sanitaria contra la COVID-19, un virus que ataca agresivamente el sistema inmunológico de las personas. Intentar llevar a cabo cualquier actividad supone un riesgo de contagio, ya que el coronavirus se propaga sobre todo a través del aliento humano, lo cual ha supuesto la irrupción de nuevos hábitos cotidianos, como usar siempre la mascarilla, o no poder reunirse con otra gente para celebraciones y eventos, ni tampoco dar clase en el aula. Inmersos en esta tesitura, desfavorable para cualquier intento de normalidad educativa, en el caso de la educación artística padecemos doblemente esta penosa realidad. En la coyuntura española, iniciábamos el año presentando una serie de alegaciones a la nueva ley de educación que el gobierno quiere aprobar (LOMLOE), una ley que prácticamente elimina las artes visuales del currículum escolar. También en otros países se está evidenciando un retroceso constante en materia de educación artística. Si el coronavirus está impulsando la práctica de las artes mediante el uso de tecnologías digitales, y la sociedad reivindica más enseñanzas en materia de prevención, salud, inclusión, igualdad, diversidad y lenguajes tecnológicos emergentes, deberíamos atender a estas necesidades que requiere el nuevo escenario educativo y vital. Ante tales evidencias, apostamos por una muerte digna de nuestra especialidad, tal y como la entendíamos hasta ahora, valorando que este derecho a la eutanasia supone el nacimiento de un concepto renovado de la educación artística, algo que deberemos abordar como prioridad y de manera inmediata.  Palabras clave: arte, educación artística, pandemia, formación de profesorado, coronavirus.  Abstract: This year 2020 has marked by a global pandemic that causes a strange and unpredictable situation at the planetary level. All countries are in health prevention processes due to COVID-19, a virus that attacks the immune system. Trying to do any activity poses a risk of contagion, since the coronavirus spreads especially through human breath, which has led to the invasion of new daily habits, such as leaving the house with a mask, or not being able to meet other people for celebrations and events, or to teach in the classroom. Immersed in this unfavorable situation for any educational normality, in the case of artistic education we suffer doubly from this painful reality. In Spain, we started the year presenting a series of complaints to the new education law that the government wants to pass (LOMLOE), a law that practically eliminates the visual arts from the school curriculum. Also in other countries, there is a constant decline in Art Education as curricular teaching. If the coronavirus is promoting the use of digital technologies, and society claims the teachings on prevention, health, inclusion, equality, diversity and emerging technological languages, we should attend to the needs required by the new educational and vital scenario. Faced with such evidence, we are committed to a death worthy of our specialty, as we understood it until now, understanding that this right to euthanasia implies the birth of a renewed concept of artistic education, something that we must do immediately as a priority.  Keywords: Art, Art Education, Pandemic, Teacher Training, Coronavirus.

This experience of psycho-emotional education is part of more extensive international researches based on the hypothesis that the “emotional experience”, if inserted in the daily conduct of the school curriculum, especially in the nursery school one, represents an excellent training opportunity, since it fosters the learners' best perception of the self, thus strengthening their expressive and communicative attitude. On the basis of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) principles and inspired by a previous experience carried out by the Department of Human Science for training, this experimental project has been put into practice by some nursery schools in RC, thus providing very interesting data for the confirmation of the hypothesis. It has been also developed a study on the affective computing and the cognitive computing pursuing a new perspective that exceeds the traditional vision of what is defined as artificial intelligence and analyzes intelligence and aspects of perceptions, often neglected, with a methodological approach considering the emotional processes as important as the cognitive ones.

Character building is the main focus of Curriculum 2013. However, this effort is almost replaced by the program of mental revolution “relaunched” by Joko Widodo in his campaign and it has been one of his programs today. Arts education is often underestimated; in fact, it has a major role in shaping the character of the nation. Therefore, this research aims to identify problems in character building of Indonesia’s human resource through arts education. Research findings show that teachers’ concept on art education in elementary schools is one of the factors that influence the success of the Cultural Arts learning at the elementary level. Currently, most teachers view that art education includes activities to make students sing, draw, and/or make crafts at early age. This understanding is needed to be revolutionized as Curriculum 2013 mandates changes in concepts and patterns of learning for the good characters of the next generation, such as independent, good natured, and ready to face the future. Furthermore, it describes and identified the problems encountered in learning the art of music in elementary school, which underlies the need for arts education in mental revolution of the young generation as a potential future leaders.Keywords: art education problems, character building, elementary school, Curriculum 2013

The vocation of this article is to discuss the dimensions of the existing secondary school curriculum in the continuing education of the federal government titled "Pacto Nacional pelo Fortalecimento do Ensino Médio- PNEM" for the teachers of the state school system of Rondonia. This training allowed seeing with new eyes the pedagogical practices of teachers with the subject of the last stage of basic education. Therefore, it takes a qualitative approach, and its methodological approach relies on the analysis of the formation of the notebooks used by course participants and the final report prepared by the educational program coordinator in the state of Rondônia. Even though our research still in development, the theoretical basis and data collection phase, we rely on the multiculturalist theory, as in Freire's pedagogy, which raises the critical reading, questioning and intervention in reality. We understand that curriculum policies are hybrid, polyphonic, produced by discourses that circulate in different educational space- time. We understand that the curriculum as a social instrument is built collectively, with the participation of each subject to enforce the quality of education in secondary school territories.

Abstract. The article examines the problems of art education in the 1920s of Kyiv Art Institute in the context of interdisciplinary links and tasks of ideological education. The educational process in art educational institutions, such as Kyiv Art Institute, received its ideological and philosophical basis in the early Soviet period, according to which traditional approaches to art education were deconstructed, curricula were changed, new disciplines were introduced, etc. Understanding the essence of the educational process in this period is the key to understanding the artistic culture of the early USSR in general. In the course of this study, both general scientific methods, such as formal analysis, historical, biographical, typologically systematic, problem and logical, and empirical, as well as cultural and historical, which belongs to art history methods, were used. For the first time, this study highlights the origins and stages of formation of such disciplines as Anatomy, Social Pedology and Physiological Reflexology, which were taught at Kyiv Art Institute in the 1920s of the 20th century. The article makes up for an insufficiency in the data about the history of development and scientific and methodological approach in teaching these disciplines based on the autor’s processing of archival documentation kept in the funds of the Central State Archive Museum of Literature and Art of Ukraine. The aim of the article is to study the curriculum of the Kyiv Art Institute in the 1920s of the 20th century on the basis of primary sources, to analyze new approaches and interdisciplinary connections of the new curriculum, the place and significance of such disciplines as Anatomy, Social Pedology and Physiological Reflexology. The article is based on primary sources and archival data, such as abstracts of lectures on Ukrainian, Pedology, Anatomy, Philosophy, which were listened to by Professor O. K. Bohomazov, were found by the author of the article in the funds of the Central State Archive Museum of Literature and Art of Ukraine.

The current and potential relationship of contemporary rural youth with the agricultural and natural patrimony (PAN, according to its Spanish initials) that they will inherit is little known, but vitally important. In this study, we designed, adapted, and evaluated a variety of socio-environmental learning tools in order to identify and reflect on the opinions, actions, and motivations of 14 to 17 year olds in an area of the Sepultura Biosphere Reserve in Chiapas, Mexico to use their PAN in the future. The methodological approach consisted of exploring discourses using the Q method and three original table games (Mi territorio ideal, El carga palito y Manantiales de la Sierra). 46 teens were shown how to use these four tools, their use was monitored in workshops, and results were recorded and statistically analyzed. These tools allowed a) identifying at least four discourses of the teens regarding the use of their PAN, and b) reveal to the teens the preferences for land use, levels of diversification and intensification, and their disposition toward behaviors of dominance/subordination, competition, cooperation, coordination, equity, and solidarity that emerge from their decision making regarding PAN. Participants said they understood and enjoyed these tools, and that they learned about their own motivations. Together, these materials conform a dynamic educational approach that allows teachers and students to identify external and internal motivations, conservation behavior, intensification and diversification for managing PAN, attitudes of dominance and equity among teens, and preferences towards individual or collective working. This proposal is innovative, participatory, dynamic, and contextualized, and has great potential to be incorporated in the middle school curriculum in the study area and in similar rural regions of Mexico, as well as in the rest of Latin America and the world.
