This study aims to apply one of the techniques in multivariate statistics namely Factor Analysis to determine the factors that influence the decision of students to choose Mathematics Education Department, Teaching and Education Faculty, Musamus University. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 70 students majoring in mathematics education that consists of force in 2015, 2016 and 2017. To analyze the data used factor analysis method with SPSS 20 and obtained that from 25 variables studied can be reduced to only 7 factor. The factors that are formed are the quality factors of the study program, lecturer professionalism, curriculum relevant to the world of work, advice, costs, personal abilities and prospect factors and job opportunities. Nowadays, Value Engineering (VE) is being widely practiced in many countries around the world. However, its concepts and applications do not seem to be well embraced in the Vietnamese construction industry. This study aims to seek solutions for promoting the development of VE in the Vietnamese construction industry. Most of the previous studies gave solutions in deficiencies and lack of analysis. On the basis of literature review and interviews with experts during the pilot test of the study at the initial stage, fifteen solutions were identified. A questionnaire survey was then conducted to rate the effective degree of the fifteen solutions. This study revealed six most effective solutions that should be taken with first priorities to promote the VE development. Additionally, the factor analysis method was applied to investigate the correlation effects of the solutions, which resulted in four core factors representing the solutions, namely, positive interest from government and construction stakeholders; education about VE; presence of VE organizations in the construction industry; and interaction with the outside world. The findings of the study are expected to bring the most effective solutions to promote the development of VE in the Vietnamese construction industry.

Abstract: This study aims to find the influence of perception of the teacher profession and self-efficacy on the interest of becoming a teacher in students of the Office Administration Education Study Program of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Surabaya Class of 2017. The type in this study is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The data is collected through research instruments using questionnaires. The analysis method is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 25 application. The results of the study were: (1) The perception of the teacher profession positively and significantly influenced the interest in becoming a teacher in students of education department of office administration unesa 2017. (2) Self-efficacy does not have a significant influence on the interest in becoming a teacher in students of unesa office administration education program 2017. (3) The perception of the teacher's profession and self-efficacy positively and significantly affect the interest of teachers in students of education department of office administration of UNESA 2017. Abstrak: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendapati pengaruh persepsi profesi guru dan efikasi diri terhadap minat menjadi guru pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Surabaya Angkatan 2017. Jenis pada penelitian ini yaitu penelitian eksplanatori dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrument penelitian dengan menggunakan angket. Metode analisis yaitu analisis regresi linear berganda dengan aplikasi SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) Persepsi profesi guru berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menjadi guru pada mahasiswa prodi pendidikan administrasi perkantoran UNESA 2017. (2) Efikasi diri tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat menjadi guru pada mahasiswa prodi pendidikan adminitrasi perkantoran UNESA 2017. (3) Persepsi profesi guru dan efikasi diri berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap minat mnejadi guru pada mahasiswa prodi pendidikan administrasi perkantoran UNESA 2017. The ability to solve problems is one of the abilities that mathematics students must have in order to become a capable problem solver. This study aims to describe the ability of the fifth semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Palangka Raya in solving problems on the random variable material and the distribution of opportunities. The research instrument consisted of 2 questions consisting of one routine question and one non-routine question. The subjects in this study were students of the Mathematics Education Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Palangka Raya, who programmed the Mathematics Statistics I course in the fifth semester of class B academic year 2020/2021 as many as 26 students. The results showed that only 8 people (30.8%) were able to complete routine questions perfectly and 18 people (69.2%) were less than perfect. Meanwhile, for non-routine questions, only 1 person or 3.8% were able to answer correctly and 96.2% were unable to complete the questions given. This shows that the ability of students to solve random variable problems and the distribution of opportunities in the Covid-19 era in general for routine questions is still low and non-routine is very low, which indicates that students' lack of understanding and mastery of the concepts that have been conveyed through online learning

AbstrakPenalaran siswa secara statistika belum begitu baik, kebanyakan siswa menggunakan terminologi yang tidak sesuai dengan maksud dari terminologi yang seharusnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai penalaran statistis melalui permasalahan case study. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan melibatkan 9 orang mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, di mana 3 diantaranya berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan yang lainnya adalah perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa permasalahan case study yang relevan dengan permasalahan nyata di dunia dengan fokus materi pada hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan konsep dasar statistika dan bentuk penyajian data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hampir sebagian besar subjek memiliki kemampuan penalaran statistis pada level penalaran idiosinkratik dan penalaran verbal berkaitan dengan konsep tertentu sedangkan level prosedural dan pengintegrasian proses muncul pada permasalahan terkait bentuk penyajian data. Agar level penalaran statistis siswa dapat meningkat, maka diperlukan adanya rancangan permasalahan yang tepat. Students’ Statistical Reasoning in Solving Case Study Problem AbstractStudent reasoning is statistically not so good; most students use terminology that is not by following the intended meaning of the terminology. This study aims to get an overview of statistical reasoning through a case study problem. This type of research is descriptive qualitative and involves 9 students of the Mathematics Education Department, which 3 are male and the others are female. The instrument used is a case study problem that is relevant to real problems in the world with a focus on material on the basic concepts of statistics and forms of data presentation. The results showed that most subjects had statistical reasoning abilities at the level of idiosyncratic reasoning and verbal reasoning was related to certain concepts, while procedural levels and process integration appeared on problems related to the form of data presentation. So that the level of students' statistical reasoning can increase, it is necessary to design appropriate problems.

Nowadays, there are several universities in West Kalimantan that have mathematics education department, such as IKIP Pontianak, STKIP Singkawang, and STKIP Sintang. This condition provides great opportunities for prospective students who want to become mathematics teachers in schools, especially high schools. On the other side, the presence of mathematics education department in several universities in West Kalimantan is a challenge for Mathematics Education department FKIP Untan. One of the challenges that come is how to produce graduates who can compete in the world of work. In order to create qualified mathematics teacher candidates, it is very important for the FKIP Untan mathematics education department to provide one of the quality final assignment guidance services so that final year students can have quality final projects. This study will examine how high the level of student satisfaction with final assignment guidance services in Mathematics Education Department FKIP Untan. Furthermore, it will be known what service items should be improved and developed in an effort to increase student satisfaction. The level of student satisfaction with the final assignment guidance service is 0% of students are not satisfied, 0% of students are not satisfied, 9% of students are satisfied, 30% of students are quite satisfied, and 61% of students are very satisfied. It can be concluded that the final year students of the Mathematics Education Department, Teaching and Education Faculty, Tanjungpura University are satisfied with the services provided by the supervisorsKeywords: Satisfaction; academic services; final assignment guidance.

Abstract   Mathematical resilience is a mathematical ability that shows endurance and flexibility when studying and mastering mathematics. This research is a quantitative research that aims to analyze the variables forming the indicators of mathematical resilience ability in mathematics education study program students FKIP. The research subjects consisted of 178 students of Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP. All questionnaires were given to the questionnaire containing 33 variables forming mathematical resilience. Research data were analyzed using Factor Analysis. The results showed that 9 (nine) indicators could be formed as indicators for forming mathematical resilience of FKIP mathematics education study program students. Each of the 9 (nine) indicators is built by several variables which are the variables forming the mathematical resilience indicators.   Keyword: Mathematical Resilience, Factor Analysis   Abstrak   Resiliensi matematis merupakan kemampuan matematis yang menunjukkan daya tahan dan daya lentur ketika mempelajari dan menguasai matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan menganalisis variabel-variabel pembentuk indikator kemampuan resiliensi matematis pada mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika FKIP. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematia FKIP sebanyak 178 orang responden. Kepada seluruh responden diberikan kuisioner yang berisi variabel-variabel pembentuk resiliensi matematis sebanyak 33 statement. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Faktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dapat dibentuk 9 (sembilan) indikator sebagai indikator pembentuk resiliensi matematis mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika FKIP. Masing-masing dari 9 (sembilan) indikator tersebut dibangun oleh beberapa variabel yang merupakan variabel pembentuk indikator resiliensi matematis tersebut   Kata Kunci: Resiliensi Matematis, Analisis Faktor.

This action research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Number Theory in Mathematics Education students in the Even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year through STAD-type cooperative learning. The research was conducted at the Mathematics Education Study Program, MIPA Education Department, FKIP University of Lampung. Data were collected through tests and also activity observations to see their contribution to the learning outcomes. The test was carried out after three lessons were carried out at the end of each cycle. The final cycle test was conducted to see student learning outcomes after the implementation of STAD-type cooperative learning. Based on the test results, individual improvement points, awards are determined, as well as determine the increase in learning outcomes of participants in each cycle. The results of data analysis concluded that STAD-type cooperative learning can improve Number Theory learning outcomes in Mathematics Education students in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The increase in learning outcomes is greater than the increase in student activity in lectures.

The biggest challenge faced by students nowadays and in the future, is how to deal with the increasingly high competition in the world, the increasing number of undergraduate and limited job opportunities. In this kind of situations, the students had to find a creative way and change the approach of being a university graduate looking for a job, to become scholars who can create their own jobs, or even able to create jobs for others. The purpose of this study was to determine the youth interest on entrepreneurship in Indonesia. It seems that the youth are unaware to see that the job is increasingly difficult to find nowadays. So through this study, researchers wanted to find out what causes youth in Indonesia, reluctant to become an entrepreneur. While being an entrepreneur, the youth can open or create jobs for others and can reduce the level of unemployment in Indonesia. Self-confidence is an important factor in entrepreneurship. Family environment and quality education also participate in creating interest for youth in entrepreneurship. This research is using basic research method; where researchers will try to link the theories of the existing variables. Thus, researchers can conduct research by distributing questionnaires to the youth throughout Indonesia. This study aims to determine the cause of Indonesian youth lack of interest in entrepreneurship.

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of creativity on mathematics learning outcomes of students of Mathematics Education in University of Balikpapan Study Program on Linear Algebra Courses. The approach used is a quantitative approach with ex post facto research type. The population of this research is all students of Mathematics Education Study Program Linear Algebra Course in the School Year 2017/2018, which are 49 students. Samples were chosen randomly are 25 students. The results showed that there is a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes in Linear Algebra Subject
