Recently published work has revealed that the dire consequences of Covid-19 have affected different life sectors worldwide, especially education. Supporting the ICT centers will enforce the infrastructure; this will lead to strong remote learning during crises. This study encouraged the ICT center to practice the professors and support both teachers and students in using digital tools such as mobile in their learning. For this study, it was interesting to identify the technical support types provided by the ICT centers in selected Palestinian Universities for lecturers. Therefore, we analyzed the possibility of improving ICT centers' quality and investigated whether we can enrich the outcomes of ICT centers from the lecturers' perspective. For data collection, online interviews were conducted with 8 participants from different Palestinian Universities. We seek an overarching framework according to the grounded theory. Slightly superior results are achieved with our framework. We found that the types of technical services from the ICT center at Palestinian universities were graded in time according to the motives of the need. The paper concludes by arguing that universities should hone lecturers' ICT app skills. These findings provide a potential mechanism for lecturers to enhance their ability to employ online tools appropriately in teaching to ensure the smooth continuation of the learning process in Palestine.

The purpose of this research is to describe the role of the school library in supporting the learning process at SMPIT Salman Alfarisi Sleman DIY and to describe and know the library facilities at SMPIT Salman Alfarisi Sleman DIY. This research is descriptive research. Data collection techniques used in this research are through observation, interviews, and documentation study. The subjects of this research are library staff, school principals, teachers and students of SMPIT Salman Alfarisi Sleman DIY. The data analysis technique used descriptive data analysis, through the stages namely data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that; (1) The library facilities of SMPIT Salman Alfarisi Sleman DIY are very narrow rooms, the storage places for the collections are not regular, the room lighting is also not bright, the library room also does not have air ventilation, adding to the library getting darker and infrastructure in the library, namely 2 large bookshelves, 2 small bookshelves, 5 reading chairs, 1 cupboard, 1 magazine rack, 1 desk and chair for library staff, (2) The role of school libraries in supporting the learning process at SMPIT Salman Alfarisi Sleman DIY, the supporting aspects are book collections , the 2013 curriculum book collection available is 44% of the total, loan services that are carried out openly, not computerized and student visits to the library every day are between 5-10 people, then one library staff is in charge of providing services and managing and book collection management is done by making put the inventory number, label it, stamp the school.

This type of research is a type of qualitative research. This research was conducted at SD N Suryodiningrata 1 Yogyakarta. The subjects in this study were to schools, class teachers, and students. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and observation techniques. Based on the results of the study show that the forms of student bullying behavior that occur are that students make fun of and mock friends, find out friends and ask for pocket money to their friends. The way the class teacher handles student bullying behavior is by conducting classical and individual guidance. The role of the class in addressing the behavior of bullying students, be a mediator when the bullying occurred in class, and give advice as well as motivations to students.

Abstrak: Perkembangan dunia teknologi dan informasi yang semakin pesat dapat memberikan alternatif bagi pendidik untuk menggunakan berbagai media pembelajaran salah satunya yaitu Physics Education and Technology (PhET). Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk menjelaskan tentang 1). Efektivitas penerapan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika, 2) Strategi penerapan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika, serta 3) Kelebihan dan kekurangan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berdasarkan filosofi post positivisme dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tri-anggulasi (gabungan), yaitu penelitian kepustakaan melalui pengumpulan data, terutama data verbal seperti buku, artikel, catatan, dan berbagai literatur ilmiah lainnya. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis secara induktif. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan pustaka, analisis data, dan diskusi dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1). Media simulasi PhET secara efektif digunakan untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam mempelajari konsep fisika, 2) media simulasi PhET sangat baik dikombinasikan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri, dan 3) media simulasi PhET memiliki keuntungan yaitu efektif dalam menjelaskan konsep fisika yang sifatnya abstrak, sedangkan kekurangannya adalah bahwa implementasi di sekolah sangat tergantung pada unit komputer yang tersedia.Kata kunci: Simulasi Interaktif PhET, Inkuiri Terbimbing, Pembelajaran FisikaAbstract: The rapid development of technology and information world can provide an alternative for educators to use various learning media, one of which is Physics Education and Technology (PhET). The purpose of this review is to explain 1). The effectiveness of the application of PhET simulation media in the physics learning process, 2) The strategy of applying the PhET simulation media in the physics learning process, and 3) The anvantages and disanvantages of the PhET simulation media in the physics learning process. The writing of this article uses a qualitative method based on a post positivisme philosophy with data collection techniques in the form of tri-anggulation (combined), namely library research through data collection, especially verbal data such as books, articles, notes, and various other scientific literature. The data collected is then analyzed inductively. Based on the results of literature review, data analysis, and discussion it can be concluded that 1). PhET simulation media are effectively used to help teachers and students in learning physics concepts, 2) PhET simulation media are very well combined with inquiry learning models, and 3) PhET simulation media has the advantages of being effective in explaining abstract physical concepts, while the disadvantages is that the implementation in schools is very dependent on the computer units available.Keywords: PhET Interactive Simulations, Guided Inquiry, Physics Learning

The study of motivation has a very important role in understanding of school success. The teachers and the education of parents and tutors are the key elements that influence the motivational dynamics for student learning, which is a crucial aspect to self-regulate the learning process in a positive way. This research aims to analyze the influence of the school context on the development of the motivational autonomy of Secondary Education students in the municipality of Baía Farta, Benguela province, Angola. For this purpose, a quantitative descriptive methodology was developed through a Likert scale questionnaire administered to teachers and students. The total sample of the study consisted of 650 students (60.1% men and 39.9% women) and 72 teachers (54.2% men and 45.8% women). The main results point to the commitment and active participation of students through motivational strategies that are implemented through the activities planned by the school. Creating a supportive environment for the student to be motivated requires the development of a role of the guiding teacher, guide and support in the teaching and learning process, as opposed to a traditional conception of teaching more closed and hierarchical.

The school committee is a partner of the principal who has a role as a giver of consideration, as a supporter, as a supervisor, and as a mediator. All of these roles cannot stand alone but have a relationship between one role and another. In this study, the authors used a qualitative approach. The purpose of the article is to find out activities related to the objectives of the research. The subjects in this study were school committees, principals, teachers, and students' guardians. The results of the article are that the condition of facilities and infrastructure at the Karang Jaya 1 public elementary school is generally adequate, although there is still a shortage of supporting media such as projectors, the teaching and learning process is still not available.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan karakteristik kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur untuk pembelajaran bahasa Jawa di SMP Kota Semarang,  (2) membuat prototipe buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, dan (3) mendeskripsikan hasil validasi ahli mengenai prototipe buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan tahapan yaitu (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, dan (5) revisi desain. Data pada penelitian ini adalah amanat dari Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur dan kebutuhan terhadap buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan penyebaran angket. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan buku cerita bergambar berjudul Sinau Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Setelah buku tersebut disusun, selanjutnya dilakukan uji validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media untuk mendapatkan saran dan perbaikan buku. Saran dan perbaikan dari ahli mencakup aspek materi, penyajian dan kegrafikaan.  Kata Kunci : buku cerita bergambar, Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, pengembangan.   ABSTRACK The aims of this research are to (1) describe the characteristics of teachers and students’ need to a picture book with Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur base for Javanese Language learning process in SMP Kota Semarang, (2) to make a picture book prototype with Serat Wulangreh Pupuh base, and (3) describe the expert validation outcome about a picture book prototype with Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur base. This research uses research and development. The research stages were potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation and design revisions. The data in this study are mandated by Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur and the need for a picture book based on Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Sources of data from this study are Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, teachers and students. The technique of collecting data uses interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis in this study is descriptive qualitative. This research produces a picture book entitled Sinau Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur as teachers and students’ need. After this book is created, there would be a validity test by the material and media experts to have suggestion and revision. The scope of suggestion and revision by the experts are material, serving, and graphics. Keywords: a picture book, Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, development.

The term ‘expert learner’ refers to students who are actively engaged with the materials learned and take responsibility for their own learning. Literature reviews suggested the use of metacognitive approach to help develop students to become expert learners. Research on development of expert learners can be traced from movements that focused on the importance of learning strategies and “learning how to learn” approach. Some researchers combined the role of teachers and students in formulating a framework on how to develop expert learners. This study aimed to identify issues related to the development of expert learners in the classroom. Data were collected from focus group with students and teachers in Malaysia.  Findings were reduced into thematic categories representing students’ and teachers’ perceptions on the issues. Results of the study showed that the use of metacognitive strategies among students is very minimal and many teachers did not aware the benefit of making the learning process visible to students. The implementation of “learning to learn” approach in the teaching and learning process remain one of the key problem need to be address in order to help students learn effectively in the classroom.

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian: 1) Untuk menganalisis penanganan terhadap siswa bermasalah pada MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu; 2) Untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan dalam menangani perilaku siswa bermasalah pada MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu. Metodologi penelitian yaitu: pendekatan kualitatif, dengan informan kepala dan wakil kepala madrasah, guru, dan siswa di MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian: 1) Penanganan siswa yang berperilaku menyimpang di MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu ada beberapa cara yaitu: melakukan bimbingan terhadap siswa, melibatkan orang tua, guru, kepala madrasah dalam penanganan anak berperilaku menyimpang. 2) Peran kepemimpinan dalam menangani gangguan perilaku siswa di MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu sangat berperan, di mana kepala madrasah selalu menginstruksikan kepada guru untuk memberikan laporan perkembangan anak termasuk aspek sikap, melakukan identifikasi terhadap permasalahan siswa, dan menciptakan solusi yang efektif dalam menangani permasalahan siswa. Kepala madrasah selalu melibatkan baik itu unsur guru dan orang tua dalam menangani permasalahan siswa di MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu. Abstract: Research objectives: 1) to analyze handling of a troubled student in MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu; 2) to analyze the role of leadership that we are doing in dealing with the behavior of a troubled studen In MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu. Research methodology: a qualitative approach, with informants head and deputy head of madrasah, teachers, and students in MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu. Technique data collection use observation, interview, and documentation. The research: 1) handling of students who behaves swerved in MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu there are several ways either: conducting guidance for students, involving parents, teachers, head of Islamic school in handling children to behave. 2) leadership in dealing with bullying behavior students in MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu play an important role, in which the head madrasah always for teachers to instruct the including aspects of a child development , students carried out the identification of the problems, and create an effective in dealing with the students. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Kepala Sekolah, Gangguan Perilaku, Siswa

Artikel ini menyajikan hasil penelitian tentang peran Majelis Percikan Iman (MPI) dalam membangun harmoni ditengah heterogenitas organisasi keagamaan di Kota Bandung. Tema ini penting untuk dikaji karena banyak ditemukan gesekan-gesekan diantara majelis taklim disebabkan perbedaan faham dan pandangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka terhadap berbagai dokumen yang terkait dengan tema penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis secara induktif dapat diambil beberapa kesimpulan sebagai berikut: Pertama, model pembawaaan Ustadz Aam Amirudin yang ramah, santai dan tidak menyudutkan kelompok tertentu dalam proses kajian menjadi daya tarik bagi jamaah MPI yang berasal dari berbagai kalangan usia dan organisasi keagamaan. Kedua, berbagai jawaban yang diberikan Ustadz Aam Amirudin dalam sesi tanya-jawab selalu memberikan alternatif dalam setiap permasalahan, namun demikian tetap tegas dan jelas sehingga menjadi kenyamanan tersendiri bagi mustami. Ketiga, MPI membuka peluang bagi dai-dai lain yang berasal dari Nahdhatul Ulama, Persatuan Islam, Muhammadiyah, Persatuan Umat Islam dan organisasi keagamaan lainnya atau praktisi akademisi untuk menjadi narasumber dan saling bahu membahu dalam rangka mencerdaskan umat, sehingga terjalin harmoni ditengah heterogenitas keberagamaan. Keempat, MPI hadir untuk memadukan nilai-nilai agama dengan budaya dan kearifan lokal yang yang diimplementasikan melalui model dakwah dengan mengedepankan spirit harmoni.  Kata Kunci: Majelis Percikan Iman, Dakwah, Harmoni, Organisasi Keagamaan, Bandung.   Abstract This article presents the results of research on the role of Majelis Percikan Iman (MPI) in bulding harmony in the heterogeneity of religious organizations in the Bandung city. This theme is important to study because there were many frictions between majelis taklim due to differences in ideas and views. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was done by interviewing, observing and studying literature on various documents related to the research theme. Based on the results of inductive analysis, some conclusions could be drawn as follows: First, the model of Ustadz Aam Amirudin's delivery which was friendly, relaxed and did not impeach certain groups in the learning process was the main attraction for MPI members from various ages and religious organizations. Second, various answers given by Ustadz Aam Amirudin in the question-and-answer session always provided alternatives in every problem, but remain decisive and clear, so that it brought a cosiness for the listeners. Third, MPI opened up opportunities for other Dai from Nahdhatul Ulama, Persatuan Islam, Muhammadiyah, Persatuan Umat Islam and other religious organizations or academic practitioners to be speakers in order to create a mutual support to educate the people, so that harmony was established in the heterogeneity of religiosity. Fourth, MPI is present to integrate religious values with culture and local wisdom that are implemented through the da'wah model by promoting the spirit of harmony. This study examines the effectiveness of using the iqra' method to improve the ability to read the Qur'an to convert students at Assalam Islamic Solidarity School in Jantho City. Based on the facts in the field, the convert students who are already young have not been able to read the Qur'an well. This institution seeks to improve the quality of convert students in the Qur'an reading, which aims to be one of the motivations for other students to study the Qur'an well. This research has two objectives, namely: How is the ability to read the Qur’an, and the use of the iqra' method to convert students at Assalam Islamic Solidarity School in Jantho City. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Respondents in this study were teachers and students. Data collection techniques in this study are using observation and interviews. From the results of the study found by researchers that the use of iqra' method has been effective against the ability to read for convert students, although there are difficulties in the learning process, caused by lughat (pronunciation) their tongues are still stiff. From this study it can be concluded that every educational institution that is specifically in charge of the education of the Qur'an must be able to improve its quality in carrying out the Qur'anic learning process especially in terms of reading the letters, so that every student, especially converts, can learn the Qur'an 's well and correctly so that they can instill Islamic laws based on the Qur'an and as-Sunnah.
