A cluster analysis revealed that credit unions with the similar functions belong to the same cluster. After investigation of management monitoring systems of credit unions in different countries it has been established that these systems are rather «ex»/ «post» indicators of the present credit unions problems. Relations between regulators and credit unions are of different types. «Three Bucket Approach» methodology for credit unions and theoretical aspects of the methodology, which involves reserve formation on loans and its application have been considered.

This research is dedicated to the problem of correlation between perception of other people by a subject and phenomenon of the “image of the world”. This topic is relevant for scholars of humanities in different countries in conditions of aggravation of various macrosocial conflicts. A theoretical study is conducted on correlations between the phenomena of “image of the world”, “worldview”, “model of the world”,  and approaches of the Russian psychology towards them. The author explores the results of empirical study of the “image of the world”, reflected in drawings, through the prism of metaphorical representations of a mature person on “congenial people” and “dissonant people”. The goal consists on carrying out a comparative analysis of peculiarities of the “image of the world” among persons differing in metaphorical representations on “congenial people” and “dissonant people”. The subject of this research is the metaphors of "congenial person” and “dissonant person”, the basic principles of a person and types of the “image of the world” depicted in drawings and verbal characteristics. The scientific novelty lies in the development of additional parameters for the analysis of the “image of the world” of a person, reflected in drawings. This article is first to determine correlations between different types of metaphors of “congenial person” and “dissonant person” as communication partners, and parameters of the “image of the world” of a person depicted in drawings. The conclusion is made that attribution of positive metaphorical socio-psychological characteristics to “congenial people” and “dissonant people” is associated with positive assessment of the objects of surrounding world. Stereotypization of images of other people as communication partners correlates with such of the “image of the world” in consciousness of a subject. The research results indicate that perceptions of “congenial people” and “dissonant people” by the subject affect their “image of the world”. The presented materials can be used in socio-psychological counseling for elaboration of the programs of correcting the system of relations of the subject to themselves and other people.

Abstract The paper aims to explore how the process of phraseologism-formation is linked with the process of perception as part and parcel of human cognitive activity. Specifically, the research focuses on the role synesthesia plays in the construction of phraseological meaning. We proceed from the claim that the perceptual experience a human gains through multiple sensory channels while cognizing the world is preserved in the language semantics. Therefore, one of the main assumptions of the research is that synesthesia as a result of crossintegration of various perceptual sensations and their (sub)modalities influences the formation of phraseologisms and can be traced in their semantics. To test this assumption, a representative corpus of English and Russian phraseological units (more than 3,000) is analyzed. In the course of the analysis different types of synesthetic transfers that underlie the phraseological meanings in question are established. Special attention is paid to the way in which synesthesia is involved in the construction of the deep stratum of phraseological semantics that consists of the conceptual foundation (i.e., macro-metaphorical conceptual model) and phraseological image. Overall, the study offers further evidence that phraseological meaning is derived from the perceptual experience and from various synesthetic transfers in particular.

This research demonstrates that international financial integration changes the way in which financial development affects inequality within a country. Specifically, both cross-country analysis and dynamic panel data analysis using data collected from more than 100 countries provide evidence indicating that if the financial market of a country is strongly closed to the world market, financial development narrows inequality within that country, whereas if the financial market of a country is strongly open to the world market, financial development widens inequality within that country. Our theoretical framework provides a possible explanation for our empirical findings.

The paper examines the existence of a causal relationship in Grangers' sense between the movement of Bitcoin prices and the price of gold at the global financial market, in order to answer the question whether it is possible to predict the movement of the Bitcoin price based on the movement of the price of gold in the world market, but also vice versa. The survey was conducted from January 1, 2019 to December 1, 2019. In the research was used the Granger causality test (1969). The research results show that historical data on the movement of gold prices in the world market cannot be used to predict the change in value and price movements of Bitcoin. On the other hand, the survey results indicate the possibility of a reliable application of the use of historical data on the movement of value and price of Bitcoin.

The issue of the perspective of survival and production of sufficient amounts and quality of health-safe food in the future is on the top of the contemporary society?s priority list. Limitation of non-renewable and renewable resources (as well as dramatic increase of population in the world and climate changes) additionally makes reaching this goal difficult. The Republic of Serbia (and especially the Province of Vojvodina) is in this sense very significant as a region suitable for this kind of production, not only for domestic needs, but also for placement of these products on the world market. This paper systematically presents different types of marks (geographical indication of origin, standards, certificates, etc.) that might be used for labelling products that have special characteristics. Such product label might influence their better positioning and their sale (the overall valorisation), since products marked by them acquire higher prices.

Ayurveda is one of the oldest systems of natural medicine in the world. Originating over 4,000 years ago, it is the root of several other branches of traditional medicine including the Chinese and Greek medical systems. The word “veda” means knowledge or science and the term “ayus” means life in Sanskrit. Thus, the term “ayurveda” means the knowledge or “science of life.” In this chapter, we review the basic principles and pathophysiology of illness from an Ayurvedic medicine perspective. We also discuss in depth the disease treatment model from an Ayurvedic perspective. Additionally, we explore the Ayurvedic view of addiction and discuss treatment approaches. Included is the use of the Ayurvedic model to describe and treat three different types of alcoholism as an illustration of varying doshic imbalances.

This article discusses the conclusions of the World Trade Organization Dispute Settlement Body (WTO DSB) on the case “Argentina – Financial Services” pertaining to interpretation of the Paragraph 2 (a) of the Annex on Financial Services to the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS), which contains a prudential exception that allows the countries, regardless of their obligations in accordance with GATS, taking measures on the national level that are aimed at maintaining stability in the domestic financial market. The need for studying the approaches applied due to interpretation of this norm, is substantiated by the ambiguous wording of the Paragraph 2 (a) of the Annex on Financial Services, which raises questions on its proper application. The author attempts to give assessment to the decisions of the Arbitration Group on the interpretation of prudential exception, as well as shed light on the instances of its application. This article is the first work within the Russian legal science dedicated to examination of the peculiarities of application of prudential exception. Having analyzed the corresponding provision of GATS, as well as the decisions of the Arbitration Group on the case “Argentina – Financial Services”, the author concludes that virtually any measure introduced by the government on the national level, which serves the purpose of risk prevention that may create a threat to the stability and integrity of the financial market of the country and normal activity of the participant of the financial services market, can fall under Paragraph 2 (a). At the same time, the key and practically the only obstacle for abuse such norm consists in the need to adhere to the principle of good faith in the context of implementation of the corresponding prudential measures.
