This study is concerned with the realization of Brown’s theory of assessing reading on the English national examination. This study focused on the English national examination for junior high schools in the academic year 2018/2019. It aimed to know what types of assessing reading were used and what the most dominant types were used on the English national examination based on the realization of Brown’s theory. The qualitative approach was employed. The method of analysis used was descriptive research. Based on the data analysis, there was only one type of the four types of reading assessment which was implemented on the English national examination. It was interactive reading. The tasks which were used in interactive reading are impromptu reading plus comprehension question as many as 49 questions which are included in 17 texts and ordering tasks as many as 1 question which was included into 1 text. All of them were spread into 17 texts. The most dominant type of assessing reading was interactive reading (50 questions) which consisted of 49 questions of impromptu reading plus comprehension questions and 1 question of ordering tasks.

This study aimed to analyze the language error on the Bahasa Indonesia National Examination instrument test of the Junior High School in 2012/2013 academic year. The research were qualitative descriptive research. The data analyzed the twenty packets of Bahasa Indonesia National Examination instrument test Secondary School Examination in 2012/2013. Twenty packages National Secondary School Examination in 2012/2013 were qualitative data. Data were collected from a package about twenty National Exams then was analyzed by using the language errors. The types of errors found in language packages about twenty Bahasa Indonesia National Examination in 2012/2013 were faults field of phonology, morphology and syntax. The results showed that language errors that occur in twenty packets Discuss Indonesian National Examination in 2013 as many as 58 data. Data analysis results was presented in accordance with the type of language errors that indicate an error in the twenty language packs Indonesian National Examination in 2013, both in the areas of phonology, morphology, and syntax.

Sustainable professional development of pedagogic teachers is a strategic effort to improve the competence and performance of teachers in carrying out their duties and functions as planners, implementers, and evaluation of learning in  the classroom. This research aims to examine the improvement of innovative, creative, adaptive, and productive quality of PBI based on Indonesian text and character through the SKBP model of teachers in junior high schools and MTs. This research was  conducted using qualitative approach with survey type. The research subjects were PBI teachers in 6 junior high schools and MTs selected research target locations by using random patterns of strata. Descriptive data of 5 research objects obtained by researchers as a key instrument with interview techniques, questionnaires, and focused observations. Data analysis was carried out using a flow model during the study.  The development models used are  R2D2 model: Recursive, Reflective Instructional Design and Development  and Oxford training strategy model. The assessment of the effectiveness of the SKBP model was carried out using a qualitative approach with the type of class action research of the Kemmis and Taggart models. The research subjects were PBI teachers and grade VIII students at 6 junior high schools in Malang districts and cities. Further data analysis is done descriptively, including (1) improvement of pbi process based on Indonesian text and character using SKBP model and (2) improvement of PBI results based on Indonesian text and character using SKBP model.

This study aims to determine whether the application of the method of finger play can develop cognitive abilities in class A children in Raudhatul Athfal Ma’arif 01 Metro. This study used a qualitative approach, with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study uses a design according to the Kemmis model and Taggart MC which consists of four stages, namely: 1. Planning, 2. Action, 3. Observation, and 4. Reflection ". The subjects of this study were class A children in Raudhatul Athfal Ma’arif 01 Metro 2018/2019 academic year as many as 15 children. The research instrument uses the method of documentation, observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive statistics. The results of the first cycle, indicators of success in cognitive abilities are 60% increased to 80% in cycle II.

The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, because this study aims to describe the linguistic fault lines in the descriptive essay done by the students of Chinese Education Department of  University state of Surabaya academic year 2012. In this research, there are 53 essays written by 53 respondent. Data analysis was initiated by identifying the mistakes in syntax and lexicon of descriptive essay in Mandarin, then classify these forms of error into linguistic taxonomy, and concluded the factors that cause errors speak.The results of this study consists of three parts. The first part is finding a syntax error in the form of a descriptive essay in Mandarin, which forms a syntax error in the preparation of fungtor language of Mandarin, some 5 grains fault error. Furthermore, the use of particles in Mandarin improper, some 9 points of error. The latter syntax error is improper preparation of the sentence as much as 82 grains of error. Where errors in grammar occur due to the authors make a mistake that the order of words in reverse. In addition there is also a mistake lexicon, namely in the form of improper use of the word as much as 134 grains contained errors. The latter is a global and a local fault. Globally there are 8 points errors and locally there are 6 items mistake. Factors causing the linguistic fault lines obtained from interviews of respondents stated that when studying Mandarin, the most difficult thing to learn is the grammar. This isproved by the number of 8 respondents who answered grammar is the hardest less onto learn. Then the tone and word pronunciation difficulties as many as seven people. The latter as much as 3 respondents said things that are difficult to study in Mandarin is writing Chinese characters. Recently, there were14 respondents who were not able to give an example of the full text of some kind of sentence filed by the researcher to the respondents.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic occurred, Indonesia's tourism development had a strategic meaning when viewed from multiple aspects. However, in March 2020, the condition has now turned around. Tourism is one of the hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, including tourism in Singkawang City, Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Singkawang City's tourism political policy in dealing with the impact of Covid-19. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The researcher collected primary and secondary data through interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out in systematic stages, starting from presenting the data that had been collected, summarizing, and making conclusions. The researcher found that the tourism policy of Singkawang City in dealing with the impact of Covid-19 was implemented through the Regional Representative Council on the new normal economy; refocusing budget reallocation; the implementation of leading tourism events according to health protocols; implementation of cross-unit coordination and application of managerial interpretation; and operations utilizing information technology, digital platforms, and online applications. This study aims to find out the Al-Qur'an's view on the theme of intercession, understand intercession in relation to other than Allah, such as Angels, Rasulallah, Al-Qur'an and know who has the right to obtain intercession and its criteria. The study was designed through descriptive research conducted with a thematic qualitative approach with the maudhu'i method. The subjects in this study are library research, that is, all data sources come from written materials related to the topics discussed. Data analysis in this study uses text analysis. The results of this study indicate that syafa'at is still being discussed by the scholars, but most of the scholars say that the syafa'at exists later on the Day of Judgment. As for the group that believes that there is Shafi'i is the Shiite and Ahlussunah groups, while the Mu'tazilah group believes that there is no Syafa'at in the afterlife, of course with their respective arguments. As for those who can give syafa'at are angels, prophets, pious people and good deeds, of course after getting permission and blessings from God.

This qualitative case study aims to review and analyze the condition of the information and communication technology (ICT) facilities for the implementation of the computer-based national examination (UNBK), the principal's strategies in implementing UNBK, and the obstacles in implementing UNBK at one of junior high schools in Kota Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation. The result of data analysis revealed the lack of facilities for the implementation of UNBK in the school. The principal's strategies in implementing UNBK in the school cover various aspects, such as facilities and infrastructure, human resources, and pupil affairs. Two obstacles emerged i.e., technical and non-technical.

This study aims to describe the values of the Tandhang dance, explain the role of the Tarara Studio, obstacles, and solutions to obstacles in the preservation of the Tandhang dance in Bangkalan Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. Data collection was carried out by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used interactive analysis by Miles and Huberman. Tandhang dance has good values which are used as life guidelines for the Madurese, the role of the Tarara Studio is very good in preserving the Tandhang dance with training and staging, the obstacles faced are, delays, differences in ability, laziness, outside culture, differences in public opinion. The solutions taken were reminding, dividing groups, motivating oneself, attracting interest, and accepting differences of opinion. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai tari Tandhang, menjelaskan peranan Sanggar Tarara, hambatan, dan solusi dari hambatan dalam pelestarian tari Tandhang di Kabupaten Bangkalan. Kajian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif milik Miles dan Huberman. Tari Tandhang memiliki nilai-nilai baik yang dijadikan sebagai pedoman hidup orang Madura, peranan Sanggar Tarara sangat baik dalam pelestarian tari Tandhang dengan pelatihan dan pementasan, hambatan yang dihadapi yaitu, keterlambatan, perbedaan kemanpuan, malas, budaya luar, perbedaan pendapat masyarakat. Solusi yang diambil yaitu, mengingatkan, membagi kelompok, memotivasi diri, menarik minat, dan menerima perbedaan pendapat.

Indonesian students still find it perplexing to acquire English pronunciation as both Bahasa as their mother tongue and English do not share equivalent phonological and phonetic systems. Meanwhile, Arabic (in this case is their Hijaiyah sounds) is proven to share some phonological resemblance to some English sounds. Therefore, it is the aim of the study to investigate the student perception of the implementation of Hjaiyah sounds in their English pronunciation class. The study employed a descriptive research design as the approach. The participants of the study were 36 students of the English Study Program in the academic year of 2019/2020. These participants were third-semester students undertaking their Intermediate Speaking class. Questionnaire and interview guide were utilized as data instruments. In collecting the data, some procedures including distributing the questionnaire and conducting the interview were carried out. In data analysis, the data from the survey were transformed into a percentage to obtain a more general image of the data description. The data from the interview were also transcribed. Finally, the findings were examined and discussed using both narrative and numerical description. As a result, this study has confirmed that the implementation of Hijaiyah sounds in teaching English pronunciation is perceived positively by the students. HIGHLIGHTS: Indonesian students still find it perplexing to acquire English pronunciation as both Bahasa as their mother tongue and English do not share equivalent phonological and phonetic systems. Arabic (in this case is students' Hijaiyah sounds) is proven to share some phonological resemblance to some English sounds.

The purpose of this research is to see the extent of the management of  Dendang Melayu tourism as one of the potential marine tourism in the city of Batam in terms of facilities and attractions. This type of research used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. In this study qualitative data analysis is used by following the concept of Miles and Huberman with several stages, namely Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion. The results of this study show that the management of Dendang Melayu tourism has undergone many changes as one of the potential for marine tourism in the city of Batam, although there are still some shortcomings. Dendang Melayu Tourism is far more interesting than before because of the tourism of Tanjung Penarik, but there are some things that must be addressed, namely the condition of the facilities that are still complained by the community and the attraction of Dendang Melayu tourism for tourists.
