ABSTRACT Taxation principles were applied as early as 4000 BC in Sumer. The formulation of recognized taxation principles commenced formally with Adam Smith in 1776. He called them the four maxims of taxation. The principles formulated by Smith were grounded in his observations and personal experiences of the world. After Smith, several individuals, committees, and reviews added their ideas to the principles of taxation. The question discussed in this paper is whether these principles formulated through the years are scientifically grounded. In order to ground the principles scientifically, three qualitative research methods were conducted. Method 1 is a thematic analysis of taxation history. Method 2 applies a qualitative research design called an Interactive Qualitative Analysis. Finally, Method 3 uses a single question in writing, sent to taxation experts from various countries. The question asked in Methods 2 and 3 is: What are the fundamental principles of taxation that are essential to taxation internationally as a discipline? The findings of the three research methods were triangulated in order to propose a set of six fundamental principles of taxation. The six proposed principles are: efficient and effective administration and communication; certain, neutral, understandable legislation; equity influencing different levels of society; taxpayers' duty to contribute to society versus the government's duty to strike a balance between taking too little and taking too much; benefits to the public through taxation; and change unwanted social behavior. The rapid growth of SMEs in Depok City is not accompanied by the increase in the capacity of the SMEs itself, especially in terms of innovation. The limited resources that SMEs have, can be supported by the existence of public-private sector partnerships. This research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and literature study. The results show that public-private sector partnerships in Depok City have not been successful in increasing the capacity of SMEs to innovate. This is because the partnership is limited to providing infrastructure and focuses on increasing temporary income. Therefore, the public-private sector partnership should focus on more technical assistance in increasing added value to ensure business continuity for a longer period.

Blitar Djadoel Celebration always successful every year. But the success is inseparable from the classic problems that accompany it. In 2019, the trash phenomenon at Blitar Djadoel became viral on social media because of the bad behavior of visitors. Unexpectedly, the phenomenon was increasingly viral due to the action of Kresek Man who picked up trash in the Blitar Djadeol area. This study aims to determine the motive for the action of Kresek Man with the Motive Concept (because motive and in order to motive) introduced by Alfred Schutz. This qualitative research with a phenomenological approach takes data through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, observations on social media and documentation. This study found that there was a motive for Kresek Man actions that were seen in general and specifically. The action motives in general can be known through the reason Kresek Man performs the action as a whole. While special motives can be known through the reason of Kresek Man in selecting super hero costumes and figures, reasons for hiding identities, reasons for documenting the actions and reasons for making trash monuments. This research reveals that in each of these motives there are not always two types of motives, "because" and "in order to". In general, Kresek Man carried out the action caused by the trash phenomenon in Blitar Djadoel which was viral on social media. The action brings hope to educate the public about the importance of disposing of trash in its place.Keyword: Action, Blitar Djadoel, Kresek Man, Motive, Trash.

Bangreng was originally an example used by the Sumedang community as a medium to express gratitude for everything that Allah SWT gave to humans. But the function of art as a ritual began to shift into art as entertainment. This bangreng art is an art that is very interesting to study because there are only a few different functions. This change does not change the name of the show. With this description, it needs to be isolated, that is, the community does not lose identity. Because if the identity is lost it will also disappear from the important to be studied. The aim is that the public knows the function of the nation in the spread of Islam. The method used in this study is using qualitative research design using the approach as a medium of bangreng music. From this research, it is expected that it can show the Bangreng as a means of removing Islam.

One of the causes of the successful development of community forests in Probolinggo Regency was the participation of religious leaders. This study explored the dynamics of the role of religious leaders in the development of community forests. Through a qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach and a Naturalistic paradigm, it was found that religious leaders carried out dynamic roles from the pioneering period to the period of obtaining international ecolabel certificates. From this discovery, three propositions were drawn to which after inter-relation between the concepts, two substantive theories were drawn, namely (1) Followers’ Need-Based Visionary Leader Theory, dan (2) Theory of Change-and-Innovation Enabling Leader Quality (Attributes of Change-and-innovation Enabling Leader).
