Abstract : The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the ability to identify the values of life contained in the short story about the loss and reject the myth of the typhus in the anthropology of the short story paiting twilight class XI MIA students of SMA Negeri 1 Lawa West Muna District. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to identify the values of life contained in the short story about the loss and reject the myth of the typhus in the anthropology of the short story paiting twilight class XI MIA students of SMA Negeri 1 Lawa, West Muna Regency. This research includes class research, the method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Lawa west Muna District in the academic year 2019/ 2020 totaling 130 students and the sample in this study was 65 people. The instrument used for data an order to idenfity the values of life contained in a short story about loss and reject the myth of the typus in the anthropology of the twilight short story. Based on the results of the study, the ability to identify the short story about the loss and reject the myth of the typhoid students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Lawa west muna district included in the category of being unable. This is evidenced by the percentage of  student  acquisition in a classical (overall) amounting to (15,38%) which should reach 85% of the predetermined classical completeness value. With the details of 65 studentssampled there were 10 students (15,38) who were categorized as able and 55 students with a percentage (84,61) obtaining the category of not able. Keywords : ability; identify; value of life; short story

This research is intended to describe students ability in wiring poetry by using a picture of their idols in class VII A SMP Negeri Satu Atap Petaling Academic Year 2016/2017. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. The data is taken from students poetry in decribing their idols. This researh uses quantitative analysis. The data analysis is counted by using the percentage of students assessment in writing poetry. The data of the research is 25 students. Based on students result in writing poetry by describing their idols at class VII A SMPN Satu Atap Petaling Academic Year 2016/2017, it can be seen that there are 3 students who got 87,5 who fall into good category; there is 1 student who got 81,25 tat falls into very good category; there are 9 students who got 75 that fall into good category; there are 6 students who got 68,75 hat fall into good categroy; and there are 6 students who got 62,5 that fall into fair category. From those 25 students, the total score is 289 with the total score is 1806,5, and the mean is 72,25 that falls into good category. Hus, students ability in writing poetry in decribing their idols at class students of VII A SMP Negeri Satu Atap Petaling Academic Year 2016/2017 fall into good category.Key Words : ability, writing poetry, picturing idols.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of classroom management on motivation to study economics at SMA Negeri 20 Palembang for the 2019/2020 academic year. The research method used quantitative descriptive method. The sample in the research of class X amounted to 54 students. In collecting data the researchers used techniques of documentation and questionnaires. The results showed that the class management had a significant effect on the economic learning motivation received with a large effect from the class management of 31.97%, while the remaining 68.03% was influenced by other factors. This study is a classroom action research. it aimed to improve the student ability in trump up the short story by implementing contextual learning through inspiration documentary. the study was conducted at class VIII B SMP PGRI 7 Denpasar, in the academic year 2015/2016. data was collected through test, observation, and interview. The data analysis used in this research is quantitative descriptive. the results shown that there was improvement in every cycle. on pre tes, the score was 4,78, it increased respectively into 5,60 in cycle I, 6,66 in cycle II, and 8,30 in cycle III.

This study aims to describe the profile of creative thinking ability of class X students of SMA 3 Pemalang on atomic structure material and periodic tables of chemistry subjects in the 2019/2020 academic year. The research subjects were 36 students of class X SMA 3 Pemalang. The research method used is the quantitative descriptive method. Retrieval of data using essay test questions which were then announced about indicators of students' creative thinking abilities. The creative thinking ability of SMA 3 Pemalang students is 12.44 (38.89%) of the maximum score of 32. If viewed from the ability of students based on indicators of Fluency 1.5 (37.50%), Flexibility 1.71 (42.71%), Originality 1.47 (36.81%), Elaboration 1.54 (38.54%).

Step by step a person's needs will be obtained, if they are self-motivated. Motivation can arise from within or outside of the self (environment) which is the driving factor towards the goal to be achieved. Motivation that exists in someone is a driving force that will realize a behavior in order to achieve the goals of his satisfaction. Communication has been very important in all aspects of life. Communication is an individual supporting factor to achieve the desired needs. In this study the independent variables are Motivation (X1), Communication (X2), and Lecture Environment (X3) variables. While the dependent variable is the Decision of Choosing (Y).The research methodology used is quantitative descriptive method, the unit of analysis in this study is STIE Eka Prasetya Medan, and the unit of observation is the 2017/2018 Academic Year Student. In this study population 284 students will be taken to the 2017/2018 Academic Year. The sample technique used in the study is Non- probability sampling, namely Purposive Sampling and using the Slovin formula obtained as many as 166 students.The partial results of the study indicate that the Motivation variable partially has a significant effect on the decision of students in the 2017/2018 Academic Year in choosing to continue their education at STIE Eka Prasetya Medan as evidenced from tcount 2.950 > ttable 1.974 and sig value. 0.004 < 0.05. Communication variables partially have no significant effect on student's decision in 2017/2018 Academic Year choosing to continue their education at STIE Eka Prasetya Medan as evidenced from tcount 0.883 < ttable 1.974 and sig value. 0.379 > 0.05. Lecture Environment Variables partially have a significant effect on the decision of students / i 2017/2018 Academic Year choose to continue their education at STIE Eka Prasetya Medan which is proven from tcount 2.769< ttable 1.974 and sig value. 0.006 < 0.05. Motivation, Communication, and Environment Lecture variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the decision of students / i 2017/2018 Academic Year choosing to continue their education at STIE Eka Prasetya Medan as evidenced from the Fcount value > Ftable ie 5.867 > 2.266 and sig value 0.001< 0.05. The decision decision variable is influenced by the Motivation, Communication, and Lecture Environment variables by 8.1%, while the remaining 91.9% is explained by the influence of other factors or variables outside the model such as promotion, price, location, and others that were not discussed in this study.

This study aims to increase the interest and learning outcomes of short story writing students of the IX-B class of SMP Negeri 3 Selat in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.  The subjects in this study were students of class IX-B, SMP Negeri 3 Selat, amounting to 31 people, consisting of 13 male students and 18 female students in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.  This study uses a class action research design through two stages. Data about students' interest in learning was collected by observation sheets, and short story learning outcomes were collected by the test method.  Both types of data are analyzed by quantitative descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Suggestion-Imagination learning method can increase interest in learning and learning outcomes in short story writing for Class IX-B students of SMP Negeri 3 Selat in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.  with an average of 65.16 and completeness 51.61% in the first stage, being an average of students' learning interest of 83.55 and a completeness level of 93.55% in the second stage. While student learning outcomes also increased from an average of 68.87 in the first stage and the classical completeness rate of 51.61%, increased to an average of 75.48 in the second stage and a mastery level of 77.42%.  Based on these results it is recommended; (1) utilize the Suggestion-Imagination method to increase interest and learning outcomes of short story writing; (2) make the results of this study a consideration in developing learning methods; (4) try this method on other material, or even on other subjects.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: hubungan antara kemampuan penalaran dengan komunikasi matematis terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI.2 SMA Negeri 2 Sekampung tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah instrumen tes yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemapuan penalaran, komunikasi matematis dan prestasi hasil belajar. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan yaitu: Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan penalaran dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Besarnya hubungan ditentukan oleh koefisien korelasi determinasi dengan kata lain dapat dijelaskan melalui persamaan Y= 20,54 + 0,47 X.Abstract: This study aims to determine: the relationship between the ability of reasoning with mathematical communication on student learning achievement mathematics. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. The sample of this research is the students of class XI.2 SMA Negeri 2 Sekampung academic year 2016/2017. Instruments used to collect data is a test instrument used to measure the ability of reasoning, mathematical communication and achievement of learning outcomes. From the research results can be drawn conclusions are: There is a significant relationship between reasoning ability and mathematical communication skills with student learning achievement mathematics. The magnitude of the relationship is determined by the correlation coefficient of determination in other words can be explained through the equation Y = 20,54 + 0,47 X.

Abstract : The problem in this research is how is the ability to write fantasy stories in class VII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Konawe Selatan?.The purpose of this study was to describethe ability to write fantasy stories in class VII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Konawe Selatan . The type of research used is classified as field research. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Konawe Selatan in the academic year 2017/2018 with a total of 237 students. The sample in this study were 149 students using the proportionate stratifed ramdom sampling technique. The instrument used to collect data in this study is the ability to write fantasy stories given to students in the form of written tests. Based on the results of the study The ability to write fantasy stories of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Konawe Selatan, it can be explained that from 149 students who were individually sampled there were 72 students (48.32%) in the capable category and 77 students (51.67%) in the category of incompetent. It can be concluded that the seventh grade students of Konawe Selatan Middle School 1 in writing fantasy stories were categorized as incapable. That said, because classically the ability to write fantasy stories of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Konawe Selatan only reached 48.32% did not reach the classical completeness criteria of 85%. This can be seen from the acquisition of scores obtained by the seventh grade students of South Konawe 1 Junior High School in writing fantasy stories which included aspects of content suitability with titles (89.26%), orientation (83.89%), complications (54.36%) , resolution (46.97%), there are oddities or miracles in the story (45.63%), unique characters (46.30%), use of pronouns (89.93%), use of words / expressions of surprise (42 , 95%), the use of time sequence conjunctions (85.23%), and the use of direct dialogue / sentences in stories (30.20%). From all aspects assessed there are three aspects that are categorized as capable, namely the conformity of the contents with the title, the use of person pronouns and the use of time sequence conjunctions.Keywords: ability; fantasy stories; writing

Abstract: It is important to carry out this research to determine whether the differences in the offline and online learning processes affect the learning achievement outcomes. The purpose of the study was to determine whether there was a difference in the learning achievement of theoretical subjects between odd semesters and even semesters. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method and the type of research is ex-post-facto or causal comparative form. The results of the data analysis of the t test obtained the value of t_hit less than t_tab by testing the hypothesis (α) is 0.05. The results of this study can be concluded that there is no difference in the learning achievement of theoretical subjects between odd and even semesters in the 2018 offering B students for the 2019/2020 academic year of the PJK-FIK-UM Study Program. Abstrak: Penelitian ini penting dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui apakah perbedaan proses pembelajaran secara luring dan daring berpengaruh terhadap hasil prestasi belajar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan terhadap prestasi belajar matakuliah teori antara semester gasal dan semester genap. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian ex-post-facto atau bentuk causal comparative. Hasil analisis data Uji t diperoleh nilai t_hit kurang dari t_tab dengan pengujian hipotesis (α) adalah 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan terhadap prestasi belajar matakuliah teori antara semester gasal dan genap pada mahasiswa angkatan 2018 offering B tahun akademik 2019/2020 Prodi PJK-FIK-UM.

This study describes and identifies the learning styles of teachers who are undergoing a postgraduate course in Islamic studies. Using the quantitative descriptive method, with 27 subjects in the research subject, there is a second semester of the academic year 20018/2019 postgraduate program at Raden Rahmat Islamic University Malang, Indonesia. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interview, and documentation. The interview used was designed with limited answers. The results showed that 100% of students use information technology (such as Google search engines) to do tasks. 63.6% of students preferred to use book references and 36.4% preferred to search the internet. The learning media that are the choice of students are 54.5% in the form of textbooks, 27, 3% videos, and 18.2% power points. 54, 5% of students read books every day, 27, 3% when doing assignments and 18.2% once a week. With interest in the high reference book; 90.9% of students chose to enjoy learning to use social media and e-learning, and only 9.1% did not like it.
