AbstractThis paper seeks to account for the development of a public health education policy with respect to venereal disease during the period 1916–1926. Two competing pressure groups, the National Council for Combatting Venereal Disease and the Society for the Prevention of Venereal Disease, defended opposing programmes; the one based on moral education (NCCVD) and the other (SPVD) on medical prophylaxis. Many of the interests represented by the groups and the political dimensions that they took, were influenced by factors only very tangentially connected to health education.Any account of the development of policy in this field needs placing in the context of the early history of nineteenth-century anti-vice crusades; the role of the Army Medical Corps during the 1914–18 war; and the bureaucratic protectionism of the Ministry of Health personnel.

The current education is far from expectations, it can be seen from the failure of Islamic educational institutions in producing a generation with good morals. Actually there are many concepts presented by previous figures, including Ibn Miskwaih. On this basis, this study aims to analyze Ibn Miskawaih's thoughts on moral education and the education system. The research method used is library research. The primary data used is the book of Tahdzib al-Akhlak. secondary data obtained from other books, and articles sourced from journals and research results. The results of the study explain that humans consist of physical and spiritual and have the potential or basic abilities that are tabi'i, but they can change due to influences from within and outside of humans, namely through education. Ibn Miskawaih hints that the purpose of education is the formation of a noble personality, which he calls isabah al-khuluq al-syrif, namely a substantially and essential noble person, not a temporal and accidental glory such as a materialistic and autocratic person. While the educational methods and tools that can be used according to Ibn Miskawaih are natural methods (tabi'i), advice and guidance, threats of rebuke, blows and punishments, flattery and praise, and educating based on educational principles.

Social Philosophy is a discipline that deals with social behaviour and interprets society and its institutions according to ethical values instead of empirical relations. Bearing this in mind, I decided to explore the phenomenon of the crisis regarding the modern ethos of postmodern culture in the context of the history of classical philosophy. I have done so by relating it to new theoretical and epistemological frameworks of social, philosophical ontology on the one hand, and to the attempt to find an appropriate linguistic paradigm though philosophical semantics on the other hand that would have the potential to create an alternative ethical category. The ultimate goal is to show that philosophy becomes philosophy through the human being himself.

Introduction. The development of students’ moral beliefs about the world is an essential component in the process of moral education. Various issues concerned with the transmission of moral and ethical values across generations are investigated in the theory and practice of vocational education. However, the problem of teachers’ value perceptions about the world as a means of developing students’ value systems has attracted little research attention. For the first time, this study aims to identify the levels of teachers’ value perceptions about the world as their most important competence in developing students’ moral beliefs. Materials and Methods. The research sample included 216 teachers from different regions of the Russian Federation. On the basis of a review of available scientific publications, a theoretical analysis and systematization of Russian and foreign experience in the moral and ethical development of school-age students was carried out. The empirical research consisted in a survey aimed at revealing the respondents’ attitude towards improvement of their professional competencies in the field of moral and ethical education. The teachers’ value perceptions about the world were identified using two series of the projective technique “Incomplete sentence...”. Results. The conducted empirical research confirmed the hypothesis that teachers’ competence in implementing the moral and ethical education of schoolchildren is based on their existing value systems. An analysis of the respondents’ beliefs about objects and facts of reality from the standpoint of their own value system allowed two levels of value perceptions to be revealed: value-associative and meaning-generating, which differ in the nature of the moral categorization of objects and phenomena of the world. Discussion and Conclusion. The study confirmed the significance of teachers’ professional and personal competences in developing students’ moral and ethical values. The findings can be of interest for teachers, tutors, psychologists, professors and those investigating various aspects of the process of forming students’ moral values.

If judging specifically that the multi-dimensional kerisis that hit Indonesia sebernanya sourced from the decline of moral quality. When you see negative events involving students in Indonesia, such as brawls between students who never end, drugs, even cases of nasty video. This happens because the loss of moral values that faded due to lack of concern for school. Pesantren is an educator institution, not only educate the santri of religious knowledge, but also provide with the character that characteristic of a santri. It is not excessive when pesantren is said to be the source of character education to answer the nation's problems. Cases that many occur in students is due to lack of character education in students. The hallmark of pesantren and very difficult to imitate by other educational institutions is the strength of cultivation of morals. The label 'santri' was dzahir has been synonymous with piety, both individual and social. This is reasonable, because the habituation of morally appropriate applications have been ingrained in the education of boarding schools. Kyai as the central figure in it gives uswah and qudwah hasanah in moral education. Because the cultivation of morals more hit with deeds rather than juxtaposition of materials in the classroom, then moral education in boarding school very striking in the minds of the santrinya. It was precisely the one that inspired Kemendiknas to include elements of character education in schools, which were admittedly inspired by the moral education of pesantren. The purpose of education is to increase faith and piety and noble character in order to educate the nation's life, regulated by law (Article 31 paragraph 3) In this article explained that the purpose of education in Indonesia is aimed at increasing faith and piety and noble ahlak on students in reality as far away as fire from roast. The teaching system that schools give to their students is mostly oriented only to intellectual intelligence (intelligence), while the planting of character values on sisawa is very less. In this paper I discuss about the discussion about the pattern of education in pesantren, as well as the cultivation of values in studying

Character is a complicated issue, even considered an abstract problem. It is said to be abstract because the concept of manners is not yet operational. While good and bad standards for morals are in the objective view of God the Creator of man. If the character is ethics, it is very dangerous, because some of its value will be contrary to the moral lessons that exist in religious subjects. When both are taught (ethics and morals) then the threat is the students will later experience what is called a split personality, that is split personality. Students become confused because there are conflicting values, such as good values in the sense of morals and good value in manners (call: ethics). There is no honest terminology of Arabic versions, honest English versions, false witnesses of Arabic and French versions, as there is no terminology about Arab or Turkish morality. This applies to humans when there is a pattern of intersection between ethical values and customs: ethical values derive from the "right" way (revelation), whereas customs are derived from the habits The purpose of this study are: 1) Describing whether or not the addition manners in the lessons of Islamic Religious Education. 2) Describe the material (content) in the lesson of Islamic Education and the intersection of Budi Pekerti based on traditional perspectives. This study uses "Library Research". The research data used is secondary data. Data collection techniques used are documentation. Data processing is done by conducting the activity of review, verification and reduction, grouping and systematization, and interpretation or interpretation so that a phenomenon has social, academic, and scientific value. From the results of the discussion concluded: 1) Based on the perspective of Islam, the lessons of Islamic Religious Education need not be added with the character, because in fact holistic education includes in the Islamic Religious Education. 2) The content of Islamic Religious Education should include aspects of Islam, ie Aqidah, Shari'ah and Akhlak which are taught in a balanced way, but the lesson of character can be combined as long as the adat is the custom of the Muslims.
