The article is dedicated to theoretical examination of psychological and pedagogical qualities and basic professional skills of a concert pianist. The complete musical creativity of a concert pianist assumes achieving the artistic result and creation of a qualitatively new product in any area of musical art. In this regard, the article reveals the forms and particularities of performing collaboration at the special instrument class; examines the basic functions of the interaction between the subjects of the pedagogical process; it highlights the problems of intensifying the creative work on a piece of music related to the search for concrete artistic means for disclosing the composer's intentions. It is emphasized that the musical ensemble requires communication under the condition of coordinated understanding of different parts and ability to achieve a common goal through joint efforts. Direct and efficient contact occurs during the implementation of an interpretation plan, joint musical experience while solving a creative problem. Depending on the student's endowment various traditional subject forms and methods of work in the special instrument class are considered. Undoubtedly, the mastery of the concertmaster requires from the pianist versatile musical and performing abilities, artistic skills, acquaintance with all musical instruments. The success of joint playing depends on creative activity, emotional responsiveness, richness of imagination, initiative, flexibility of performing talent and creative fantasy of each partner.

The difficulty of studying the phenomenon is that there is no single definition of creativity. Therefore, this is the reason for the need to substantiate the creativity characteristics and determine the main personal abilities that motivate creativity. Creativity is a means of self-realization of an individual, the characteristic essence of human existence. It is creativity that an individual realizes his inner potential in. The realization of the creative potential of individuals becomes a measure and criterion for assessing the development of the socio-cultural environment. As a means of knowing the world, creativity reveals the great potential of the human spirit, and the realization of the creative potential of a man provides the creation of new things in ideal forms and socio-practical activities. Creative activity is one of the main factors in developing human essence. The process of creative activity, the results of activity, the personality of the creator as well as the environment and conditions in which creativity is carried out can be determined in the structure of creative activity. The ability to be creative is unique to a man because a man creates a new product that did not exist before. Creativity as a complex mental activity of a man is characterized by its psychological features. Creativity begins with setting tasks to be solved within the process of activity, then there is the search for a solution. But creativity becomes full-fledged only when a person turns new ideas into a social product that becomes accessible to understanding and perception by others. Creativity is associated with the structural and functional renewal of activity, its transformation into a more perfect activity which is expressed in the newly created material and spiritual values. The self-realization of a creative personality occurs through the disclosure of the inherent creative potential which is determined by talent, creativity, willingness to carry out various forms of activity and its productivity determination.

It is postulated that the changes in growth and metabolic activity that characterize many features of plant development are produced by the interaction between the hydraulic conductivity of the tissues and the influence of environmental factors, transpiration and osmotic gradients on the uptake, distribution, or loss of water. Mechanisms based on this concept are proposed for six aspects of development. These are (i) seed germination and stem elongation (water uptake), (ii) apical dominance and tropisms (water distribution), and (iii) leaf senescence and abscission (water loss). The postulated mechanisms are based on the hypothesis that water is the factor that normally limits the rate of growth and metabolic activity in the intact plant. The validity of the concept is supported by the unique capacity of water to perform three basic functions. These functions are (i) to mediate environmental effects on growth and metabolism, (ii) to correlate the growth of different parts of the plant, and (iii) to integrate growth and metabolic activity at the cellular level. It is also suggested that the responses induced by the application to plants of certain growth-regulating substances can be mainly attributed to the capacity of these substances to promote the uptake of water.

Among the main signs of Ukrainian culture, its instrumental artifact, the bandura, which is the nation-building component of Ukraine, holds a significant place. The proposed paper attempts to characterize the bandura development from the diatonic instrument at the beginning of XX century, developed by the prominent Ukrainian bandura craftsmen in their creative activity – O. Korniievskyi, I. Skliar, V. Herasymenko, – to the modern “chromatic” instrument with dual-diatonic scale, wide sound range and technical characteristics. Only two from among several play methods that existed in the traditional popular-professional performance of the past epochs became firmly established before the twenties of XX century – Chernihiv method, subsequently named as Kyiv method, and Kharkiv method. Each was associated with different way of holding the instrument – perpendicular to and parallel to the performer's body. In both cases, the performers held the bandura vertically, pointing the neck upwards, which was consistent with the stable parameters of the national instrumental tradition of performing on zittern-like instruments. Starting with psalters depicted, in particular, on the fresco “Musicians” at the Cathedral of St. Sofia and other iconographic artifacts of the Middle Ages and Baroque era. The paper considers the academicization of both bandura types in terms other prominent bandura craftsmen activity, who worked during the Soviet period as part of big associations – Chernihiv and Lviv Factories of Musical Instruments. Particular emphasis is placed on the activities of craftsmen of the Chernihiv Academic Bandura – O. Korniievskyi, designer of one of the first modern hybrid instruments, and V. Tuzychenko, an adherent of the Chernihiv Bandura. The development of not only the Chernihiv-Kyiv but also the Kharkiv bandura types is associated with the name of I. Skliar. The work of Lviv craftsman and prominent bandura player V. Herasymenko on the creation of the Lviv-type bandura and new models of Kharkiv diatonic and “chromatic” bandura, which are nowadays adapted to the tradition of modern bandura performance, became the turning point in the activity of prominent Ukrainian craftsmen.

Where research was once strictly confined to one laboratory or office, investigators now widely share and compare their plans, analyses, and results. With the advent of genomic knowledge, researchers are seeking to understand the genetics and genomics of complex human disease. They are combining their efforts into international consortia in order to take on problems that face individuals around the world, such as cancer and malaria — problems that are too large to solve by one country alone. These consortia bring together diverse research groups from different parts of the world to focus on a common goal. Their projects may all focus on one disease or condition, but examine it from different perspectives (i.e., disease subset or methods of transmission) and share the newly gained information with each other and the wider scientific community.

Digital musical instruments (DMI) can make musical practice accessible to non-trained persons or to persons with limitations related to their age, gender or musical experience. The present study explores accessibility and participation in a sample of 266 individuals using a device named MotionComposer, a digital instrument based on motion capture. By experimenting with this device during four minutes in two different environments (one causal, the other one more aprioristically determined), we study the kind of participant interaction that takes place. Results show that MotionComposer allows for a statistically significant similar interaction in people of different ages and genders and with different disabilities. However, there are two exceptions that can be accounted for in connection with the causality-randomness of the two environments where the experimentation takes place.

Based on the frequently reported similarities between creative and psychedelic (drug-induced, consciousness-expansion) experiences, a preliminary study was conducted to explore the effects of psychedelic agents (LSD-25, mescaline) on creative problem-solving ability. Twenty-seven professionally employed males were given a single psychedelic experience in 1 of 7 small groups ( ns = 3 or 4) following extensive selection and preparatory procedures. This drug-induced problem-solving session was carefully structured with particular focus on establishing Ss' expectancies and a psychosocial milieu conducive to creative activity. Tentative findings based on tests of creativity, on subjective reports and self ratings, and on the utility of problem solutions suggested that, if given according to this carefully structured regimen, psychedelic agents seem to facilitate creative problem-solving, particularly in the “illumination phase.” The results also suggest that various degrees of increased creative ability may continue for at least some weeks subsequent to a psychedelic problem-solving session.

The purpose of the article. To reveal the principles of professional growth of the choir class of Ivano-Frankivsk Vocational Music College named after Denis Sichinsky through the prism of conducting its leaders. Outline the repertoire findings and concert and festival achievements of the group. The methodology consists in the implementation of a system-chronological approach in the analysis of individual pages of the team's activities, first published personal archival materials of the author. It is also possible to use a scientific method to combine and adjust new and previously obtained results, thus tracing the process of professionalization of the college choir for more than 80 years of existence. The scientific novelty is to trace and highlight the stages of the creative practice of the choir class. For the first time, an attempt was made to characterize the activities of the teaching staff of the college from its founding to the present day, which allows us to recreate a holistic picture of its artistic development. Conclusions. For a long time the choir class of the college was headed by famous choirmasters, thanks to whom creative youth has the opportunity to form professionally and popularize samples of the world and Ukrainian choral music in the region, different parts of Ukraine, and abroad. The basis of the choir's repertoire consists of works of various genres and styles, but the uniqueness of the ensemble's funds lies in the sound of D. Sichynsky's choral heritage. Thus, in the cultural process of Prykarpattia and Ukraine, the student academic choir, as a participant in the educational process and a unique concert unit of the region, has an important role.

The article discusses the features of artistic and creative work of the head of an amateur choreographic team. It is revealed, that the main function of professional and pedagogical activity of the head is educational, while artistic and creative activities are considered as basic and most complicated. The future specialist should comprehensively acquire pedagogical, performing and creative competencies. It is emphasized, that members of an amateur group, as usual, do not associate their future professional activity with choreographic art, with the profession of a ballet master or a ballet artist, which naturally requires a special approach of the team leader in his methodological work, in artistic and creative activity. Another feature is the selection of the repertoire, which should be aimed at the developing of the creative abilities of the team members, at the forming of their primary, elementary skills and abilities needed for their performing activities. It is highlighted, that the work of the leader of a choreographic team on the creation of a dance is similar to the creative activity of the choreographer-writer. The article analyzes the process of creating a choreographic work for an amateur group: from the idea → through the development of an action plan → to the organization of individual and collective work on certain fragments of the dance → to the final design. In addition, the article presents three main schemes that lead to one common goal — to creation of a choreographic work ("from design to implementation"). The first scheme is due to personal motives of artistic and creative activities of the leader; the second is determined by the requirements of the employer/customer; the third involves the production of a finished dance created by another choreographer and writer.
