Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are various infections that can be transmitted from one person to another through sexual contact. The spread of STIs to women and men (90%) occurs through sexual intercourse, both vaginal, anal and oral, the rest through blood products or tissue transfer that has been exposed to pathogens or can be transmitted through medical devices, as well as from mother to fetus in the womb or while birth process. This study aims to determine the relationship between sexual intercourse patterns and the incidence of sexually transmitted infections in women of reproductive age at the Makassar District Health Center, East Jakarta 2019. This research method is a type of quantitative research with a cross-sectional research design, using the inclusion and exclusion criteria for a sample of 55 people, the type of data. primer, measuring instrument questionnaire and laboratory results, analysis of chi square test data. The results showed that out of 46 women of childbearing age who had a poor pattern of sexual relations and sexually transmitted infections were 41 people (89.1%) and 5 people (10.9%) had sexually transmitted infections while 9 people had a pattern of sexual intercourse. well and sexually transmitted infections were 1 person (11.1) and sexually transmitted infections were 8 people (89.9%) pvalue = 0.01 (p <0.05). Conclusion The Relationship between Sexual Relationship Patterns and the Incidence of Sexually Transmitted Infection in Women of Fertile Age at the Makassar District Health Center 2019 (p value = 0.01)

Abstrak Latar belakang: Kandidiasis vulvovaginalis adalah infeksi mukosa pada vagina maupun vulva yang disebabkan oleh jamur Candida. Infeksi terjadi secara akut, subakut, dan kronis, baik endogen maupun eksogen yang menimbulkan keluhan pada vagina. Umumnya infeksi pertama di vagina disebut vulvitis. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan kebersihan vulva dengan kejadian kandidiasis vulvovaginalis pada usia subur di Puskesmas Kecamatan Cipayung. Metode: Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari sampai Juli 2018 di Unit Infeksi Menular Seksual Puskesmas Kecamatan Cipayung. Populasinya adalah sejumlah orang yang datang ke Puskesmas Kecamatan Cipayung. Sampel adalah sebanyak 33 orang, metode pengambilan sampel adalah secara accidental sampling kemudian data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dan pemeriksaan laboratorium. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah Chi-Square.  Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebersihan vulva tidak baik (75,8%) dan berpengaruh positif terhadap kandidiasis vulvovaginalis di Puskesmas Cipayung (87,9%). Hasil uji statistik diperoleh nilai p = 0,036 (p<0,05), atau ada hubungan kebersihan vulva dengan kejadian kandidiasis vulvovaginalis pada wanita usia subur di Puskesmas Cipayung. Kesimpulan: Kebersihan vulva ada hubungannya dengan kejadian kandidiasis vulvovaginalis di Puskesmas Kecamatan Cipayung. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya kebersihan vagina pada wanita usia subur yang menyebabkan meningkatnya kejadian kandidiasis.   Kata kunci: Kebersihan vulva, kandidiasis vulvovaginalis, wanita usia subur, puskesmas cipayung   Abstract Background: Vulvovaginalis candidiasis is infection in the mucosal of vagina or vulva caused by Candida fungus. Infection can occur acutely, subacute, and chronic, both endogenously and exogenously which often cause symptoms in the vagina. Generally, first infection in the vagina called vulvitis. Objective: This study aims to determine the association of the vulva higiene with vulvovaginal candidiasis on fertile age in Cipayung sub-district Public Health Center (PHC). Method: The study used cross sectional design approach. The study was conducted from February to July 2018 in sexually transmitted infection unit. Total sample was 33 patients at Cipayung sub-district PHC. The sampling method is purposive sampling and data were collected by questionnaire and laboratory results. Statistical analysis used is Chi-Square. Results: The results showed that the vulva hygiene was poor (75.8%) and there was positive association with vulvovaginal candidiasis in Cipayung PHC (87.9%). The result of statistical tests obtained p-value = 0.036 (p <0.05), or there is a relationship of vulva hygiene with vulvovaginal candidiasis in women of childbearing age at Cipayung PHC. Conclusion: There is a relationship between vulva hygiene and vulvovaginal candidiasis at Cipayung sub-district PHC due to lack of vaginal hygiene on woman of childbearing age, which increased the incidence of candidiasis. <p>Pulmonary TB is a world problem especially in developing countries including Indonesia. In Indonesia, it is estimated that every year 450,000 new cases of pulmonary TB appear with death estimated at 175,000 per year.  his study aims to determine the relationship between physical environmental factors of houses with pulmonary TB patients with AFB (+) at Lhok Bengkuang Health Center, Tapaktuan Subdistrict, South Aceh Regency in 2018. The population in this study were pulmonary TB patients smear (+) recorded in the case data report in the working area of Lhok Bengkuang Health Center, Tapaktuan Subdistrict, South Aceh Regency  in 2017, which is 36 patients with pulmonary TB (+) and 36 non-pulmonary TB sufferers. The results of the  nivariate study showed 52.8% of respondents with occupant density did not meet the requirements, 55.6% of respondents with house floors did not meet the requirements, 51.4% of respondents with lighting did not meet the requirements, 51.4% of respondents with house ventilation did not meet the requirements . The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between occupant density (P value = 0.001), house floor (P value = 0.015), lighting (P value = 0.034), ventilation (P value = 0.038) with pulmonary TB patients with AFB (+) in the area of Lhok Bengkuang District Health Center, Tapaktuan Subdistrict, South Aceh Regency.</p>

Impacts given MP-ASI earlier include such as the difficulty of properly digested food, greater chance of illness because the baby's immune system is not yet perfect, experiencing food allergies, having the opportunity to experience obesity. The working area of the Ciruas District Health Center in Serang District has the lowest exclusive breastfeeding coverage of 23.6%. This study aims to determine the relationship of education, knowledge and culture of breastfeeding mothers to complementary feeding of early breastfeeding at Ciruas Health Center in Serang Regency in 2019. The study used a cross sectional approach. Samples were obtained by 77 respondents. The analysis uses univariate and bivariate analysis to determine the relationship between the variables studied. The results showed that mothers who gave early breastfeeding MP were 48 people (62.3%), mothers with low education were 49 people (63.6%), less knowledge was 53 people (68.8%), and the culture of giving MP Early breastfeeding with a culture of 40 people (51.9%). There is a significant relationship between education with early breastfeeding MP (p-value = 0.014), there is a significant relationship between knowledge and early breastfeeding (p-value = 0,000) and there is a significant relationship between culture and early breastfeeding MP 0.001). There is a significant relationship between education, knowledge and culture on the provision of early breastfeeding MP. The puskesmas can be more informed and provide counseling to the public so as not to give ASI early.

ABSTRACTPeer Midwive Knowledge Influencing Practice in Counseling About Examination Visual Inspection Of Acetic Acid On Couple Women Of Childbearing Age; Cervical cancer is becoming a disease number two killer of women in Indonesia, after breast cancer, it is due to 95% of HPV virus (Human Papiloma Virus). HPV infection went unnoticed until the disease reaches an advanced stage. If cancer is found at an early stage can be cured completely with the method IVA (Visual Inspection Acetic Acid) easier, screening can be performed with a wider scope. Cervical cancer cases in the Kendal district was increased in 2009 (3,31%), in 2010 (3,77%), in 2011 (4,45%), while decreasing IVA inspection visit in 2010 (4,34%), 2011 (4,33%), 2012 (3,96%). Therefore midwife in addition to providing health services can also provide counseling realization of behavior IVA test inspection. The purpose of this research is to analyzed the relationship of knowledge midwives with practice in counseling about examination visual inspection of acetic acid on couple women of childbearing age. Methods and design research is quantitative descriptive explanatory with correlative and cross sectional approach, using sampling saturated with 60 respondents by midwife that have trained in the Kendal district. The results from 9 variables majority age ≥41 years =66,7%, educatin majority of DI and D III =78,3%, the majority of the working time ≥10 years = 95%, approximately 55% majority of the knowledge and counseling practice the majority 73,3%. Chi square test shows that the relationship between knowledge with practice in counseling about examination visual inspection of acetic acid on couple women of childbearing age p value 0,000. Midwives is expected to increase their knowledge, so that it can perform well counseled about IVA to couples of reproductive age want to do test IVA.Keywords: Midwives, Knowledge, Counseling Practice, IVA.

Cervical cancer is the most common cancer in women with an estimated 570,000 new cases in 2018 and represents 6.6% of all cancers in women. The behavior of women of childbearing age in preventing cervical cancer with early detection is still low. Nationally, it is still less than 5%, while the target to be achieved in 2019 is 50%. In Subang Regency in 2019, of the target of 7500, only 20 people (0.27%) did IVA tests (Subang District Health Office, 2019). This study aims to determine the perception of women of childbearing age on early detection of cervical cancer with IVA test in the Basic Essential Neonatal Obstetrics Services Cipeundeuy Community Health Center, Subang Regency In 2020. This research is qualitative with a case study approach, the research subjects are 5 women of reproductive age. Measurement and observation of these variables using in-depth interviews. Data analysis through transcription, reduction, categorization, presentation of data in narrative form. The behavior of women of childbearing age in preventing cervical cancer with early detection is based on the perception of vulnerability of women of childbearing age to feel vulnerable to cervical cancer, because women of childbearing age is already active in sexual intercourse, based on the perception of severity seriousness. Women of childbearing age considers cervical cancer a serious disease, based on the perceived advantage that this examination is to determine the health condition of the presence of signs and symptoms, based on the perception of obstacles due to shame, fear, lack of knowledge and costs. Women of childbearing age perception of cervical cancer early detection includes perception of vulnerability, perception of severity/ seriousness, perception of benefits and perception of barriers.

Introduction: Current lifestyle triggers an increase in the incidence of hypertension, especially diet. Hypertension sufferers are expexcted to obey the predetermined diet. Family support should be a reinforcing factor that can influence the patient decision to adopt a hypertension diet. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of Behavior of Family Support with Compliance Diet of The Elderly With Hypertension at Sub-District Health Center Klurahan, Ngronggot District, Nganjuk Regency.  Methods: Study design is a correlation with a cross sectional  approach. This research was conducted on February 23-24 July 2020. The population of this study were all elderly patient with hypertension at Sub-District Health Center Klurahan as many as 38 patients. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique, the sample 32 respondents. Independent Variables is The Family Support and Dependent Variables is Compliance Diet of The Elderly Patient With Hypertension. Data Collecction using a questionnaire. Data analysis using the Spearman Rank with α = (0,05). Results: The results of the study almost half of them were 15 respondents (46, 2%) have good family support. Dietary compliance of the elderly most of the were  respondents (51, 3%) Compliance to the hypertension diet. The test results obtained p-value = 0,000 ≤ α = (0,05) so Ha is accepted with r value is 0, 851 which mean having a very strong level of relationship. Conclusions: Family support is one of the important roles that can help improve care for people with hypertension, support make sufferers more motivated to a compliance hypertension diet.

Abstract Background: In the world as in North Africa,Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are a public health problem especiallyfor reproductive-age women.Since the quantification of the prevalence of STIs is important for the planning of interventions and the promotion of resources, it is necessary to have current data to evaluate the situation in the Maghreb and to give the answer as to the possibility of reaching the desired WHO goal of ending STIs epidemics as a public health concerns by 2030.The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence and trend of STIs during 11 yearsin Tunisia (2007-17).Methods: We conducted a descriptive cross-sectional study including all women with STIs diagnosed with the syndromic approach in all basic health care centers of the Governorate of Monastir (Tunisia) from 2007 to 2017.Syndromes included, Pelvic Pain (PP),Vaginal Discharge (VD)and Genital Ulceration (GU). Results: We analyzed 40388 cases of genital infection with a crude prevalence rate and age standardized prevalence rate of13.93/ 1000 inh and 72.38/ 1000 respectively.The prevalence rate was relatively high and showed a positive trend over 11 years for all age groups and syndromes. VD was the most common syndrome with a CPR of 11.7/1000. For all syndromes, women of childbearing age(20 to 39 years) were the most affected age group(p <0.05). Conclusion:Our results were consistent with the global evidence, suggesting a focus on primary prevention reinforcement and STIs surveillance system improving in North Africa countries to achieve the World health organization goalof ending STIs epidemics by 2030.

This study aims to determine the relationship between the husband's support and the attitudes of women of childbearing age in the early detection of cervical cancer through the IVA test in the Sawan I Public Health Center. The method used in this research is non-experiment, which studies with correlational descriptive research design. The results showed that the p-value was 0.0001. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the husband's support and the attitudes of women of childbearing age in the early detection of cervical cancer in the Sawan I Community Health Center.   Keywords: Husband's Support, Cervical Cancer, IVA Test, Fertile Age Women

Background: Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is a lower genital tract infection, which occur as a result of vaginal microbiome dysbiosis. This vaginal infection can lead to symptoms such as vaginal discharge, malodor and irritation. It is the most common condition occurred in reproductive age but may give 50–75% of asymptomatic signs. Purpose: To overview new BV patients at the Sexually Transmitted Infection Division of Dermatology and Venereology Outpatient Clinic Dr. Soetomo General Hospital Surabaya in 2015–2017. Methods: A retrospective study was performed by evaluating medical records of new BV patients, including identity, history taking, examination, diagnosis, treatment, follow up and counselling. Result: The number of new BV cases was 35 (1,38%). The most infected age group was 25–44 years old (51%), and 65.7% of them were married. The most common chief complaint was vaginal discharge without subjective complaints (74.3%), the most common type of complaint was recurrence (48.6%), the most partner roles which affected by BV patients were husbands (51.4%), history of vaginal douching (34.2%), and the most vaginal discharges were severe (75.8%). The whiff test showed positive results and pH > 4.5 in 48.6% of patients. All microscopical preparations showed clue cells. The most prescribed drug was metronidazole. Conclusion: The overview new BV cases showed a small incidence with commonly occurred among women in childbearing age and were asymptomatic. A routine high vaginal swab helps the proper diagnosis and management to prevent the recurrence and complication of BV.
