TRANSDISCIPLINARY SYSTEM OF SUPPORTING STUDENT YOUTH ACTIVITIES

The article focuses on the aspects of the realization of the young scientists constitutional right on the freedom of scientific creativity in the process of the implementation of research projects by providing access to modern achievements in science and technology. To solve this problem, it is proposed to create a transdisciplinary system of supporting the educational and research activities of the student youth by means of the software platform "Transdisciplinary Educational Dialogues of Application Ontological Systems". Cognitive IT software tools TODAOS provide the formation of transdisciplinary "prisms of knowledge", which are network ontological representations of the results of educational activities of student youth, semantically related to the network ontological representations of scientific and technical products of fundamental and applied researches of institutions of NAS of Ukraine and contextual connectivity indexes with thematically related scientific information, Ministry of Education’s curricula, and educational and methodological materials based on the interoperability and integrativeness of knowledge-oriented information resources and systems created in different formats and standards and technologies.

The article substantiates the advantages of using educational traveling when studying the unit "Internet Information Resources" at the lessons of "Informatics" in the 9th grade. The authors analyzes the approaches that are the basis for teaching students to informatics: systemic, activitybased and competence-based. Special attention is paid to the formation of metasubject competencies, which include the ability to use the mastered intersubject concepts and universal educational actions in educational activities, the independence of planning and implementing educational activities based on personal priorities, and the organization of educational cooperation with students and teachers. These competencies will be needed by students both in everyday life and in their future profession. Tasks for small groups of students and a range of questions for their solution are given, criteria for the success of assignments are developed, examples of the results of the work of groups are given.

The aim of the study was to investigate approaches to the formation of general educational skills. A survey examining the design and research process was carried out by 6th-grade Russian students over the course of an extracurricular project entitled «Names of Modern Professions». In the paper, the selection of the «Lexicology» section for such activities carried out by school pupils is substantiated and stages of work on the project are described. The applied methodology involves theoretical analysis of scientific literature, formative experimentation, analysis of products of educational activities, observation and description. It is concluded that the design of extracurricular research activities in the Russian language contributes to the formation of general educational competencies in conducting surveys and searching for information on the basis of subject skills.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has created an unprecedented global health emergency. This crisis has impacted educational activities worldwide, including India. It is imperative to understand the challenges faced by institutions in imparting resident training when dealing with patients during this pandemic. This correspondence briefly discusses the effect on the cardiology residency program and research activities. It also highlights the measures to impart education safely amid a current pandemic.

The present study deals with Utilization of ICT among the faculty members of Siddha Colleges and various level of operating system with the information accessed by the faculty through the internet. The survey was conducted with the help of the questionnaire and personal interview. The responses received from the available faculty are presented in tables and data is analyzed by using simple statistical method. The findings reveals that the access of electronic information is an important component of research activities for faculty members like E-Journals, E-books, E-databases are most preferred electronic information resources.

ANCHORAGE, April 20—Sea otters rescued from waters fouled by the Exxon Valdez oil spill fared poorly after their return to the wild last fall, and scientists working under Government contract say at least half may have perished over the winter. Nearly 900 dead otters were found after the tanker spilled almost 11 million gallons of crude oil in March 1989. An additional 360 were netted alive and brought to rehabilitation centers at Valdez, Seward, Homer and Kodiak. About 200 were later returned to Prince William Sound but some scientists say that as many as half may have perished and that the rehabilitation effort has been largely futile... The withholding of scientific information on the spill for legal reasons by all the parties is becoming a major source of controversy as research projects begin to generate at least preliminary data.

The State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety (SSTC NRS), a Ukrainian enterprise with a 29-year experience in the area of scientific and technical support to the national nuclear regulator (SNRIU), has been actively involved in international research activities. Participation in the IAEA coordinated research activities is among the SSTC NRS priorities. In the period of 2018–2020, the IAEA accepted four SSTC NRS proposals for participation in respective Coordinated Research Projects (CRPs). These CRPs address scientific and technical issues in different areas such as: 1) performance of probabilistic safety assessment for multi-unit/multi-reactor sites; 2) use of dose projection tools to ensure preparedness and response to nuclear and radiological emergencies; 3) phenomena related to in-vessel melt retention; 4) spent fuel characterization. This article presents a brief overview of the abovementioned projects with definition of scientific contributions by the SSTC NRS (participation in benchmarks, development of methodological documents on implementing research stages and of IAEA technical documents (TECDOC) for demonstration of best practices and results of research carried out by international teams).

O artigo discute o projeto de criação e implantação do Repositório Institucional da Universidade Federal do Tocantins, RIUFT. O objetivo é agrupar, armazenar, organizar, preservar, recuperar e divulgar a produção científica e acadêmica da UFT com vistas à gestão da informação cientifica, aumentando a visibilidade e o prestígio da instituição em âmbito nacional e internacional. Busca disponibilizar à comunidade universitária um espaço para armazenar e preservar a informação produzida na Instituição e ao mesmo tempo promover a transparência dos gastos públicos e apoio às atividades de pesquisa e criação do conhecimento científico no âmbito da UFT. A implantação do RIUFT será mediante adesão ao edital do Ibict, e será desenvolvido em duas fases: planejamento e implementação. Este estudo aborda também um histórico das ações implantadas pelo Ibict em prol do movimento de acesso livre ao conhecimento científico, bem como uma breve revisão de literatura sobre a sociedade do conhecimento e as tecnologias de informação e comunicação. Como técnica de pesquisa, adotamos uma abordagem qualitativa, utilizando-se de revisão bibliográfica e pesquisa exploratória. O método de coleta de dados adotado foi a partir de informações fornecidas pela universidade e seus programas de pós-graduação. Palavras-chave: Repositório Institucional; Comunicação científica; Acesso aberto. ABSTRACTThe article discusses the project of creation and implementation of the Institutional Repository of the Federal University of Tocantins, RIUFT. The goal is to gather, store, organize, preserve, retrieve and disseminate scientific and academic production of UFT with a view to the management of scientific information, increasing the visibility and prestige of the institution in the national and international levels. Search available to the university community a space to store and preserve the information produced in the institution and at the same time promoting the transparency of public spending and support for research activities and creation of scientific knowledge within the UFT. The implementation of RIUFT is through adherence to Ibict the notice, and will be developed in two phases: planning and implementation. This study also addresses a history of actions implemented by Ibict in favor of open access movement to scientific knowledge as well as a brief literature review of the knowledge society and information and communication technologies. As a research technique, we adopted a qualitative approach, using literature review and exploratory research. В данной статье проанализировано основное различие понятий учебно-исследовательской и научно-исследовательской деятельности. Основной проблемой является развитие мотивации к учебной научно-исследовательской деятельности учащихся. Выявлено, что на мотивационную готовность студентов к научно-исследовательской деятельности могут оказывать влияние многие факторы, рассмотрено их воздействие. В статье приведены различные студенческие мероприятия, которые могут способствовать повышению мотивации учащихся к исследовательской деятельности. Выявлены, проанализированы научно-исследовательские умения и их компоненты (операционный, содержательный, мотивационный). Реализация в профессиональной подготовке традиционных форм обучения (лекции, лабораторные, практические, семинарские занятия, коллоквиумы, курсовые и дипломные работы, консультации, индивидуальные занятия) помогает овладению учащимися научной информацией, но не всегда способствует формированию необходимых умений и навыков. Очевидно, что внедрение новых теоретических обобщений в учебный процесс (чтение преподавателями проблемных лекций, введение новых теоретических разделов по наиболее актуальным проблемам современной науки, расширение перечня учебной литературы и интернет-источников, освоение новых методик исследования, подготовка мультимедийных презентаций) повысит интерес студентов к исследовательской деятельности. Образовательный процесс будет проходить более успешно, если в вузе сформирована эффективная образовательная и научно-исследовательская среда, направленная на развитие личности студента. This article analyzes the main difference between the concepts of educational research activity and research activity. The main problem is the development of motivation for educational research activities at students. The authors revealed that many factors can influence students’ motivation readiness for research activities; considered the impact of those factors. The article presents various student activities that can help to increase students’ motivation for research activities; identifies and analyzes the research skills and their components (operational, content, motivation). The implementation of traditional forms of education in professional training (lectures, laboratory, practical, seminars, colloquiums, term papers and theses, consultations, individual classes) helps students master scientific information, but does not always contribute to the formation of the necessary skills. It is obvious that the introduction of new theoretical generalizations in the educational process (delivering of problem lectures, introduction of new theoretical units on the most relevant problems of modern science, expanding the list of educational literature and Internet sources, development of new research methods, multimedia presentations) will increase the interest of students in research activities. The educational process will be more successful if the University has an effective educational and research environment aimed at the development of the student’s personality.
