Caries is a dental disease that is often found, which is a disease of the hard tissues of the teeth in the form of continuous loss of mineral ions on the surface of tooth enamel, which is mostly caused by bacterial metabolism. A low level of awareness in caring for teeth causes a bad impact on dental health and on body health. At present time, people generally do not have knowledge of analyzing dental caries disease, which can later cause severe damage to teeth, such as the death of the dental pulp. This study aims to analyze caries disease using the Certainty Factor method. In this study, 50 data sets were processed, obtained from interviews with experts at the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Clinic, Padang, Indonesia. They found several factors that cause dental caries disease in humans. The data was obtained from the medical records of patients who had undergone an examination at the clinic. The data is used to analyze the type of caries disease based on the guidance of the expert. The processing steps carried out are solving the rule, determining the weight value of each symptom and calculating the Certainty Factor value. The results obtained after testing this method show that there are 94% of people who suffer from caries disease, the type most often suffered by patients with superficial caries. The test results can analyze caries disease specifically, thus the expert system used can be recommended to help dentists analyze dental caries disease in humans.

The skin, which is the largest part  of the human body, is the body's first defense against bacterial and virus attacks. When the skin is exposed to the sun, dry weather, or bacteria, the reaction will spread to other parts of the body, and can even result in death if it is too late to be handled especially if the sufferers are children who are very vulnerable to disease. In this study an expert system was implemented to diagnose skin diseases in infants using the certainty factor method. certainty factor method is very suitable for expert systems that diagnose something that is uncertain. This system makes a diagnosis based on the symptoms felt by the user and then calculates certainty factors based on existing symptoms. Based on the test results by making comparisons between manual calculations and the one carried out by the system it is known that 90.22% of the diagnosis results get the same results so that the system is said to be suitable for use.

In general, a person is difficult do dermine whether a lump or swelling of the lymph nodes in the body, is just a normal lump or whether it has become cancer. If the lumph does not go away whitin a few days, the patient is required to immediately consult a doctor to get detailed information about the disease and how to treat it. Lymph nodes scattered in the human body are round and are part of the lymphatic system that plays a role in fighting viruses that enter the body. The cause of these enlarged lymph nodes can be due to the type of food consumed, congenital disease in the patient’s body (comorbid), infection to lymph node cancer (lymphoma). For this reason, an Expert System is needed by applying the Certainty Factor method in order to assist the public in analyzing lymph node disease by answering several questions regarding the symptoms experienced. This system is implementad using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The result of this study show that the Certainty Factor method can work well in the Expert System analysis process. From the result of system trials with several patient data, the disease accuracy rate in the patient named S is 63% and the disease accuracy rate in the patient named MR is 68%. Besides being useful for an expert, this Expert System can help patients to find out the type of disease they are suffering from, the accuracy of disease, the method of treatment and a guide for making decisions.

This study assessed the level of dental health in the special contingent, identified the main factors that had a negative impact on the condition of the prisoners' oral cavity, the main diseases of the oral cavity, and also revealed a high prevalence of HIV infection and hepatitis among them. Analyzing the survey data of 150 prisoners in the remand prison, the following conclusion can be drawn. For the most part, persons in prison have a low social status and a high level of dental morbidity. Caries, periodontal diseases, leukoplakia, xerostomia were noted among the most common diseases of the oral cavity. In prisons, inmates are exposed to a number of factors that have a negative impact on their oral health and the body as a whole. The high prevalence of HIV and hepatitis among them also affects the oral health of prisoners. In the course of the study, it was found that the prevalence of leukoplakia (K13.2) is 40% (N = 60), xerostomia (K11.7) - 32% (N = 48), the prevalence of periodontal disease (K05.3) among prisoners is 76% (N = 114), caries was diagnosed in every prisoner patient in the study group. Due to the lack of the necessary resources in the medical institutions of the SIZO, it is impossible to give a full assessment of the prevalence and intensity of various dental diseases among prisoners in comparison with those at large. In this regard, the results of our research should make it possible to develop a program to optimize dental care in the system of the Federal Service for the Execution of Punishments, to contribute to an increase in the level of dental health among persons in penitentiary institutions.

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis. It can affect some parts of the body: lungs, lymph nodes, intestines, kidneys, endometrium, bones, and brain. According to the survey of tuberculosis prevalence conducted by Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health in 2013-2014, Indonesia was the second country in the world with the most case of tuberculosis. It makes Indonesia become a country with emergency in lungs tuberculosis. An expert system for lungs tuberculosis detection is built to help people detecting the possibility of suffering from lungs tuberculosis. Therefore, it is hoped that the lungs tuberculosis patient can have early treatment. Certainty factor is used to solve the uncertainty problem delivered by the doctor when examining the patient. Thus, certainty factor is an appropriate method to be used in the expert system for detecting certain disease. This method has been correctly implemented, proved by comparing system detection result to manual calculation result. The expert system has 81.25% accuracy, 83.49% success using DeLone and McLean model, and a cronbach alpha of 0.82 which indicates a good reliability based on the indicators used in the questionnaire. : In recent years, the development of Assisted Reproductive Technique, the egg and embryo donation changed substantially the role of the uterus in recent years. It provided a higher chance for a pregnancy even in women over 45 years or post-menopause. In fact, the number of aged patients and in peri/post-menopause in pregnancy is nowadays increasing, but it increases obstetrical and neonatal related problems. The human uterus is richly innervated and modified especially during pregnancy and labor, and it is endowed with different sensory, parasympathetic, sympathetic and peptidergic neurofibers. They are differently distributed in uterine fundus, body and cervix, and they are mainly observed in the stroma and around arterial vessel walls in the myometrial and endometrial layers. Many neurotransmitters playing important roles in reproductive physiology are released after stimulation by adrenergic or cholinergic nerve fibers (the so called sympathetic/parasympathetic co-transmission). Immunohistochemical study demonstrated the localization and quantitative distribution of neurofibers in the fundus, the body and cervix of young women of childbearing age. : Adrenergic and cholinergic effects of the autonomous nervous system are the most implicated in the uterine functionality. In such aged women, the Adrenergic and AChE neurofibers distribution in the fundus, body and cervix is progressively reduced by increasing age. Adrenergic and AChE neurotransmitters were closely associated with the uterine arteries and myometrial smooth muscles, and they reduced markedly by ageing. The Adrenergic and AChE neurofibers decreasing has a dramatical and negative impact on uterine physiology, as the reduction of pregnancy chance and uterine growth, and the increase of abortion risk and prematurity.
