Abstract: This study aims to show the application of the strategy and Madrasah leadership management towards quality improvement of education. The location of the study was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Yogyakarta (MAN 1 Yogyakarta). This type of research is a qualitative descriptive and data collection method is done by non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The result shown that the head of madrasah had applied strategic steps towards quality improvement of education. The priority in teachers’ training to improve their skill and learning process among students in three domains; academic, tahfidz and research. In optimizing these steps madrasah collaborates with education stakeholders, universities, training centers, academics and the community to provide guidance and assistance in improving the learning process in the internal madrasah. Besides the head of the madrasah manage activities by distributing responsibilities to each field in the madrasah organization. In addition, the relationship between the headmaster and its member are built through an intensive dialogical approach and open communication with the aim that works can be carried out together in order to improve the quality of education. Keywords: Strategy, Management, Quality of Education, Madrasah   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperlihatkan penerapan strategi dan pengendalian kepemimpinan Madrasah dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Yogyakarta (MAN 1 Yogyakarta). Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi non partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa langkah-langkah strategis yang dilakukan kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan berupa prioritas pada kegiatan pelatihan terhadap guru untuk meningkatkan skil mereka, dan prioritas peningkatan proses pembelajaran di kalangan siswa dalam tiga ranah yaitu akademis, tahfidz, dan riset. Dalam optimalisasi langkah-langkah tersebut pihak madrasah melakukan kerja sama dengan para stakeholders pendidikan, yakni perguruan tinggi, balai pelatihan, akademisi dan masyarakat guna memberi bimbingan dan pendampingan dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di internal madrasah. Sementara pengendalian yang dilakukan kepala madrasah terhadap aktivitas kerja dengan cara mendistribusikan tanggung jawab terhadap masing-masing bidang dalam organisasi madrasah. Di samping itu hubungan kepala madrasah dengan bawahan dibangun dengan pendekatan dialogis dan keterbukaan komunikasi yang intensif dengan tujuan agar aktivitas kerja dapat dilakukan secara bersama-sama dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.  Kata Kunci: Strategi, Pengendalian, Kepemimpinan, Mutu Pendidikan, Madrasah.

Parents’ low participation in improving the quality of education is an interesting topic of study. This research aims to obtain data on parents’ participation in improving the quality of infrastructure and learning process in elementary schools. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data were the principal, teachers, and parents. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research findings, it can be discussed that parents already participated in improving educational infrastructure but not maximized. They donate funds and energy for school construction. While, in learning process, parents contribute to guide, to motivate, to supervise the children, and to facilitate all their needs in learning. Problems faced by parents in improving the quality of learning are lack of time in supervising the children to learn due to busy work and also the low level of parents’ education and income (education and economic factors).

This research aims to determine the role of the head of Madrasah in improving the quality of education in MTs Negeri 4 Kulon Progo, and to help improve the competency of teachers in the learning activities with a real, measurable, controlled, directional program to achieve learning objectives. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are: 1) supervision of the head of the district of the state of the principal of the school 4 Kulon Progo includes education, managerial, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator; 2) The role of quality improvement is done by increasing the professionalism of teachers by giving opportunities to teachers; 3) Factors affecting the implementation of the head of the Madrasah include: the planning, implementation and follow-up that is carried out continuously to the teachers and education personnel.

In its management, schools need quality assurance as a benchmark for assessing the success or failure of educational institutions. One of the most important aspects that affect the quality of education is leadership and quality management. The research objectives are: (1) to describe how the principal's strategy in improving the academic quality of students at SMAN 2 Sidoarjo (2) to describe how the principal's strategy is to improve the non-academic quality of students at SMAN 2 Sidoarjo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are: (1) the principal's strategy in improving the academic quality of students at SMAN 2 Sidoarjo is through the PPDB process carried out in 4 stages, supervising the learning process in order to know the achievements in the learning process, taking a good personal approach with all school stakeholders, excellent programs (Academic Skills) that can support students to continue to work and produce achievements. develop school planning as much as possible, analyze the challenges, obstacles and future opportunities that will be faced by SMAN 2 Sidoarjo (2) the principal's strategy in improving the non-academic quality of students at SMAN 2 Sidoarjo is a superior program of life skills in the form of learning to be able to survive in life , more productive and supported by existing programs in schools. Social Skill with the hope of being able to socialize in society. Develop school planning as much as possible, analyze the challenges, obstacles and future opportunities that will be faced by SMAN 2 Sidoarjo.

The objective of this research was to analize deeply and objectively the contemporary management quality of some leaders and their leadership at religiousity higher educations in Indonesia for finding a model of quality improvement the higher education. This research was based upon the naturalistic paradigm with qualitative approach, and the said methodology was a phenomenologic method, by using Ishikawa Fishbone Diagram as a technical tool to improve the quality. The datas were colleted through participant observation using interview, and document study. The data analysis and interpretation indicate that: (1) The real problem is the weak management quality; (2) The weak management quality is caused by the weak leaders and leadership. This main factor influences other factors, just as all influence one and another; (3) The root of weak management quality is caused by the weak leader and leadership. The findings lead to the recommendation to practice quality improvement, and to apply the model of quality improvement, in order for it be one of the quality religiousity higher education in this 21st century.

The purpose of this study is to find out about how to improve the quality of Islamic education through optimizing personnel management, and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of personnel management in SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Plus Bandung City. The research that was carried out was included in qualitative descriptive research. The data collection method uses the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, improving the quality of education is a systematic effort in school management to achieve progress from one stage to a higher level to produce added value according to applicable norms/standards. Management of improving the quality of Islamic education in schools is a quality improvement method that is based on school education itself, applies a set of techniques, is based on the availability of quantitative and qualitative data, and empowers all school components to continuously increase the capacity and capacity of school organizations to meet the needs of participants. students and society. By optimizing personnel management, it can continue to improve the quality of Islamic education. In the current era of technology and globalization, the role of principals in improving the quality of education through supervision is very important. The principal is a driving factor for school resources, especially teachers and students. One of the actions that must be taken is to guide and foster teachers in academic supervision activities, which are professional assistance to teachers to improve the professional abilities of teachers in the learning process. The easiest and most frequent academic supervision done by the Principal is academic supervision with class visit techniques, namely the Principal as the supervisor holds a class visit when the teacher teaches in class. Through supervision techniques conducted by principals by conducting direct visits to teachers and students is expected to be able to influence the quality improvement and quality of learning conducted by teachers and students in education so as to produce the best graduates and be able to compete with the world especially with the technological era and globalization as it is today.

this study aims to determine human resource management in improving the quality of education. The formulation of the problems in this research are: (1) how is human resource management in improving the quality of education?, (2) what are the obstacles faced in the implementation of human resource management in improving quality?, (3) what are the factors in the implementation of human resource management in improving the quality of education?, (4) how is the quality of education?. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data obtained were collected through observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that human resource management at SD Negeri 170 Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU), both in quality improvement, implementation, supporting factors and the quality of education had been running optimally

This study determined the management competence of principals in improving the quality of education in SD Negeri 1 Epil, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research method is a qualitative descriptive. Sources of data in this study were teachers who assisted in the learning process at SD Negeri 1 Epil, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. Data collection techniques in this study include 1) interviews and 2) documentation. The data analysis used in this study were 1) data reduction, 2) display or presentation of data and 3) conclusions and data verification. The results showed that the management competence of the principal in improving the quality of education in Lais District was good. This paper contributes to upgrade the principal’s management competence in order to improve the quality of education.

Progress in information technology that is so fast is expected to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. In the world of information technology education can help and support the learning process. Especially now all the learning process activities can be done online. Progress in information technology must also be supported by quality human resources. In this case the teacher is very instrumental in the utilization of information technology in the world of education. Because the teacher is one of the education supervisors who will encourage the advancement of the quality of education in Indonesia. But in reality the quality of teachers in Indonesia is inadequate. There are still many teachers who cannot use information technology in learning especially for teachers who are senior or old. As teacher supervisors, they must improve the quality of their performance in using technology. To improve the ability of teachers to use technology, ongoing training is needed to use technology. The role of the head of the school as a supervisor is also needed, namely the principal is obliged to supervise, control, and approach the teacher in terms of the use of technology in the learning process.

This study aims as a way to determine the effect of the recitation method on learning outcomes of events in life that focuses on sub-theme 2 national events about the proclamation of independence day at SDN Gongseng 1 Jombang. As we know that the average learning process in schools is still centered on the teacher himself. By using the right application, it is certain that it will have a good impact on the quality of education. The lack of student interest in the methods taught by the teacher had a significant impact. In the process of working on questions, for example, students are less able to understand what is conveyed by the teacher who is able to provide a learning process whose substance is carried out by selecting the appropriate method. This research is pre-experimental research design, in the form of one-group pretest-posttest. The sample of this study consisted of 9 boys and 10 girls totaling 19 students who were in the experimental class. In the academic year 2021, it can be seen that the results of the pretest and posttest data of students by using the recitation method have sig. 0.000 < 0.05. From these results, it can be concluded that the effect of recitation has an influence on classroom learning by using conventional methods.
