The readiness of grade IX students of SMP in facing the national exam is still not optimal. It can be seen from the obstacles encountered by the students related to the amount of material being studied and the limited time available at school. Furthermore, the students are also still unfamiliar with the UN questions tested due to the lack of practice in discussing UN questions. This problem can be overcomed by providing training to students on the use of reading strategies to be applied in answering English UN questions. The subjects of this service program are grade IX students of SMP Negeri 4 Solok City who will take the national exam. The use of reading strategies is an approach to understand English texts that can be used in solving English UN questions. The method of implementing this service program is carried out through several stages, namely (1) giving try out to assess students' ability to answer UN questions, (2) giving guidance and training in using reading strategies in answering UN questions, and (3) giving final try out as evaluation of the implementation of community service activities. The results of this community service activity showed that students have broad insights on strategies to solve English National Examination questions. Students also become more enthusiastic and active in answering English UN questions. Besides that, students also get information that is very useful in preparing themselves as early as possible to face the national exam. Given the large benefits of community service activities, it is necessary to provide intensive and structured training for grade IX students of SMP on tips and tricks for answering English UN questions easily.

Jamu (herbal medicine) is included in traditional health drinks that its processing is often less hygienic. The purpose of this community service program is to improve the cleanliness of the herbal medicine-making process in the herbal medicine group in Malang through the provision of hygienic herbal medicine processing machines. Community service activities were carried out in 2018 by involving herbal medicine groups in Tegalgondo and Jetis Villages, Malang. The community service activities included analyzing the conditions and needs of partners, designing herbal medicine machines as needed, as well as assisting the use of machines. The implementation methods in this service program were discussion and training. The result of this service activity was an increase in partner knowledge regarding the importance of hygiene and the use of appropriate technology in herbal medicine processing. After the training was carried out, service partners began to be moved to process jamu more hygienically. Furthermore, assistance and technology-based marketing training activities also need to be carried out.

The goal to be achieved in this service program is to help compile and make financial statements CV. Kasih dan Sayang. Specific targets to be completed are knowledge and skills in preparing and formatting financial statements. The problem in preparing financial statements is knowledge and skills in the recording of business finances. Therefore, the challenges in this target group need to be overcome by increasing knowledge and training in making financial statements that are easy and helping financial records for partners. The method that will be used in this service program is participation method. CV. Kasih dan Sayang were given financial statement training. The results of this community service activity are trainees who are able to provide training materials that are supported by using financial statements formats in the form of MS. Excel is in accordance with the case of business transactions. In addition, the financial statement format is in the form of an MS. Excel will tidy up and make it easier to make business financial statements.

ABSTRAKPermasalahan dari mitra pengabdi kami adalah a. bagaimana mahasiswa binaan mitra khususnya mahasiswa pembudidayaan bisa mengembangkan kultur tanaman budaya Indonesia dikenal masyarakat umum khususnya negara lain, bahwa jenis anggrek di Indonesia memiliki keunikan anggrek yang berbeda dengan negara lain. b. anggrek juga memiliki perawatan yang ekstra sehingga di perlukan media tanam anggrek supaya tidak merawatnya ekstra dan bisa dikmati penyuka tanaman bunga. Dari permasalahan mitra tersebut tim pengabdi menggunakan metode pengabdian masyarakat yakni melakukan pemaparan materi dan pelatihan teknologi hidroponik sebagai media tanaman anggrek dan memberikan pengalaman serta pengetahuan kepada mitra pengabdi bahwa anggrek bisa menjadi nilai ekonomis. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yakni mitra memperoleh banyak informasi mengenai jenis anggrek dan dapat menyimpulkan sendiri bahwa perlunya jenis anggrek di budidayakan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yakni 1. Memanfaatkan teknologi hidroponik sebagai media tanam anggrek sangatlah diperlukan guna membudidayakan jenis anggrek tertentu agar tidak mengalami kepunahan. 2. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mitra dalam hal ini para mahasiswa memperoleh masukan dan ide kreatif dalam meningkatakan nilai ekonomis daerah pada masing-masing tempat tinggalnya di wilayah asal mahasiswa. 3. Memberikan pemahaman baru bahwa biasanya anggrek tidak dapat digunakan untuk tanaman hidroponik ternyata sudah bisa digunakan dengan persyaratan tertentu. Kata Kunci : hidroponik; anggrek; teknologi. ABSTRACTThe problems of our service partners are a. how partner-assisted students, especially cultivating students, can develop Indonesian cultural plant culture known to the general public, especially other countries, that the type of orchid in Indonesia has a unique orchid that is different from other countries. b. orchids also have extra care so that the orchid growing media is needed so as not to care for them extra and can be loved by those who like flowers. From the problems of the partners, the service team used community service methods, namely the presentation of materials and training in hydroponic technology as a medium for orchid plants and provided experience and knowledge to service partners that orchids could be of economic value. As a result of community service activities, partners get a lot of information about the types of orchids and can conclude for themselves that the need for orchids is cultivated. Conclusions from community service activities namely 1. Utilizing hydroponic technology as an orchid growing media is needed to cultivate certain types of orchids so they do not experience extinction. 2. In this community service activity partners in this case the students get creative input and ideas in increasing the economic value of the area in each place of residence in the student's home region. 3. Gives a new understanding that normally orchids cannot be used for hydroponic plants but can already be used with certain requirements. Keywords: hydroponics; orchid; technology.

Batik Masaran Sragen regency is a batik industrial center that has great potential and has distinctive characteristics and is rich in both contemporary and modern motifs. However, from the potential of batik still has constraints and obstacles that are still found the low understanding of the importance of IPR protection both on copyright and brand rights, another constraint is the limited marketing is still using conventional models that do not have online media to reach the audience which is wider. The purpose of this community service activity is to conduct counseling and training on copyright and brand rights, as well as website creation training. The method used is through training, mentoring to partners and monitoring although community service activities have been completed to maintain the sustainability of the program. This activity is motivated by the products of the Gadingkulon villagers who have low bargaining power, their lack of ability in packaging and selling products is also an obstacle. Besides, many business actors have not pocketed and are not sufficiently knowledgeable about halal certification from MUI for the products they produce, so they will find it difficult to market their products to souvenir centers, supermarkets, and other markets. Guaranteed halal products through halal product certificates will provide comfort, safety, safety, and certainty of the availability of halal products for people in consuming and using halal products and can increase added value for business actors to produce and sell halal products. Therefore, they need to be equipped with knowledge and training on halal certification steaming. This service activity consists of 4 stages, namely preparation, meeting, training, and monitoring and evaluation. The community service activities carried out in Gading Kulon Village, Dau District, Malang Regency are going well. The result of community service activities is that people who have joint products with the Halal Center of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang help meet and identify all the requirements needed and will then be bridged by the Halal Center of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang until the issuance of halal certificates.

Activity reports are one of the most important elements in an organization. The activity of writing student activity reports at the end of the implementation of activities becomes a thing that is always avoided by students, especially students who are members of a sub-campus organization. The community service activities aim to provide understanding, as well as improve the ability to write reports on student activities in accordance with the guidelines issued by BPM the Lancang Kuning University. In particular, this activity aims to improve the knowledge and techniques of writing and the preparation of student activity reports especially Organisasi Mahasiswa (ORMAWA) such as DPM, BEM, UKM and HMJ at the Lancang Kuning University. This service activity includes training or counseling which contains the delivery of information for material that is technical and the practice of the report writer, in this case is material about the concept of the report; dialogical method that is question and answer and continues with the practice of writing reports on how to write reports in accordance with the guidelines issued by BPM Lancang Kuning University; and training methods to instill technical and practical skills and skills in writing reports.

ABSTRAKPandemi covid-19 telah membuat manusia  banyak menderita penyakit hingga meninggal dunia di berbagai belahan dunia. Konsumsi pangan fungsional dapat memberikan manfaat kesehatan fisiologis dalam melawan dan terlindungi dari covid-19. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mengenalkan pangan fungsional untuk proyek independen KKN-Tematik dalam program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Melalui kegiatan proyek independen, mahasiswa dapat merancang pangan fungsional berbasis potensi desa sebagai produk akhir inovatifnya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berlangsung pada tanggal 9 dan 16 September 2021 secara luring dan daring dengan menggunakan metode knowledge rasfer dan  Community development. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan rubrik penilaian tugas dan angket persepsi mahasiswa. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa 1) mahasiswa telah mampu memetakan potensi sumber daya alam desa; 2) mahasiswa sudah memahami konsep senyawa bioaktif; dan 3) mahasiswa dapat menggunakan referensi ilmiah sebagai dasar proyek. Tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sangat positif. Kata kunci: pangan fungsional; proyek independen; KKN; pandemi covid 19 ABSTRACTThe COVID-19 pandemic has caused many people to suffer from diseases and die in various parts of the world. Consumption of functional foods can provide physiological health benefits in fighting and protecting against COVID-19. The purpose of this community service activity is to introduce functional food for the Thematic-KKN independent project in the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program. Through independent project activities, students can design functional food based on village potential as an innovative final product. Community service activities take place on 9 and 16 September 2021 offline and online using the knowledge transfer and community development methods. This activity consists of the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Evaluation of activities was carried out using the assignment assessment rubric and student perception questionnaires. The results of community service activities show that 1) students have been able to map the potential of village natural resources; 2) students already understand the concept of bioactive compounds; and 3) students can use scientific references as the basis for the project. This service activity aims to provide understanding and training to school librarians in Pekanbaru City. A common problem for partners is that they do not have adequate skills in operating SLiMS 9 Bulian. This service activity is expected to increase the understanding and skills of school librarians in Pekanbaru City regarding the operation of SLiMS 9 Bulian. The output produced according to this activity plan is in the form of scientific articles. The method of implementing activities is counseling. Submission of material is carried out by lecturers who are members of the team that propose community service activities. Based on the results of this activity, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the understanding and skills of participants in operating SLiMS 9 Bulian. Although in this activity participants can not attend with the maximum online, disorders caused by internet network.
