Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kompensasi melalui motivasi kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru. Objek penelitian adalah guru di Kabupaten Bekasi. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 guru sebagai responden yang mengisi kuesioner. Analisis menggunakan model perbandingan struktural (SEM) dengan program perangkat lunak Smart PLS. Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dan motivasi kerja memediasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, akan tetapi kompensasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja, dan motivasi tidak memediasi kompensasi terhadap kinerja guru.   ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of principal's leadership and compensation through work motivation in improving teacher performance. The object of research is teacher in Bekasi Regency. The research sample was 100 teachers as respondents who filled out the questionnaire. The analysis uses a structural comparison model (SEM) with the Smart PLS software program. The results show that there is an influence of principal's leadership, and work motivation mediates principal's leadership on teacher performance, but compensation has no effect on work motivation, and motivation does not mediate compensation on teacher performance.

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan terhadap etos kerja serta implikasinya terhadap kinerja karyawan. Objek penelitian adalah karyawan yang berada di Kabupaten Bekasi. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 karyawan sebagai responden yang mengisi kuesioner. Analisis menggunakan model perbandingan struktural (SEM) dengan program perangkat lunak Smart PLS. Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan berpengaruh terhadap etos kerja, serta etos kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dengan pendidikan dan pelatihan yang optimal maka akan meningkatkan etos kerja sehingga kinerja karyawan pun semakin meningkat. This study aims to determine the effect of education and training on work ethic and its implications for employee performance. The object of research is employees who are in Bekasi Regency. The research sample was 100 employees as respondents who filled out the questionnaire. The analysis uses a structural comparison model (SEM) with the Smart PLS software program. The results show that education and training affect work ethic, and work ethic affects employee performance. With optimal education and training, it will improve work ethic so that employee performance will increase.

The results of the analysis show the principal leadership style, teacher work motivation simultaneously significant and significant to teacher performance, thus hypothesis. Based on the results of data processing and research results there was an influence between the leadership style of principals and work motivation on the performance of madrasah teachers by 26.9%. So it can be said the better the quality of leadership style of principal and work motivation, the better the performance of teachers. Based on these findings, it can be concluded: (1) There is a positive and significant influence between principal leadership style and four sub-variables on Executive Style and Developer Style (2) There is a positive and significant influence between principal leadership style on teacher performance Madrasah Tsanawiyah / MTsS (3) There is a positive and significant influence between work motivation on teacher performance, achievement of financial motivation. (4) There is a positive and significant influence between the principal's leadership style and the motivation of cooperation on teacher performance. (5) Managerial efforts to improve the principal's leadership style and work motivation and teacher performance by increasing the dimensions that determine these variables.

This research is motivated, among others, by the work motivation of the aqidah akhlak teacher who has not met the expectations of all parties, the teacher is still limited in the ability to master the subject matter in the field of aqidah morals and the teacher's performance is still not optimal in the learning process for students.This study aims to determine, analyze and formulate the correlation between work motivation and the ability to master the material together with the performance of teachers in the field of study aqidah morals. The location of this research is at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Pandeglang, Banten.This study used a survey method with correlational data analysis. The research sample consisted of 35 teachers, while data collection used observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests.The findings of this study are that there is a positive and significant correlation between work motivation and the ability to master the material together with teacher performance with a multiple correlation coefficient of 0.882. This means that work motivation and mastery of material have provided positive and significant support to teacher performance.The conclusion is that the higher the work motivation which includes; responsibility, achievement, self-development and independence and the ability to master the material which includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor, the higher the teacher's performance which includes; planning in teaching, classroom management, learning and evaluation. Keywords: Work Motivation, Material Mastery Ability, Teacher Performance

This research uses a quantitative approach, where the symptoms will be measured using numbers. The results of this study, the multiple linear regression equation Y = 15,676 + 0.681X1 - 0.080X2. This means that the principal's leadership style variables and motivation have a significant relationship with teacher performance at SMK Negeri 2 Tebing Tinggi. The coefficient determinant of R² is 0.502 or 50.2%. This means that the Principal leadership style variable (X1) and motivation (X2) can explain the teacher performance variable (Y) by 50.2%, the remaining 49.8% (100% - 50.2%) is explained by other variables that not included in this study such as reward, punishment, communication, education level, years of service, work absenteeism rates, etc., which were not thorough in this study. After testing the hypothesis that the calculated value of 5.529 was obtained. With α = 5%, dk = 46-3 = 43 obtained a table value of 1.681. From these figures it can be seen that tcount (5.529) > ttable (1.681), as well as the significance value of 0.00 <0.05, it can be concluded if the hypothesis is accepted. After testing the hypothesis that the t-value is -0.925. With α = 5%, dk = 46-3 = 43 obtained a table value of 1.681. After being tested the Fcount value was 23.703. With α = 5%, df1 = 3, df2 = 46-3 = 43 the Ftable value of 2.82 is obtained. From these figures it can be seen that Fcount (23.703) > Ftable (3.26), as well as the significance value of 0.000b < 0.05, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the principal's leadership, organizational climate and work motivation on teacher performance in Vocational Schools in North Halmahera Regency both partially and simultaneously. Data from the analysis in this study shows that the Principal Leadership is in the good category in the implementation task. Besides that, the organizational climate shows good creation of a safe, comfortable atmosphere and hangs up the fun learning process. While work motivation both internal and external encouragement reaches the desired expectations. Based on multiple regression tests partially shows that the leadership of the principal, organizational climate does not have a positive influence on teacher performance. While work motivation has a positive and partial effect on the performance and simultaneously leadership of the principal, organizational climate, work motivation of this variable together have a positive effect on teacher performance.

This study aims to prove the relationship between leadership and teacher motivation on performance. . This study uses a survey method with a quantitative approach that explains causal relationships or correlations commonly called path analysis. The survey was conducted from February to May 2019 involving 124 Ambon State Vocational School teachers. The sample in this study used the Slovin formula with an instrument trial of 60 teachers. The sampling technique is determined randomly or simple random sampling. The findings of the research results are as follows (1) The influence of leadership style has a positive direct effect on teacher performance with a correlation coefficient of 0.262 and a path coefficient of 0.233. A good leadership style will have a positive influence on improving teacher performance. (2) Work motivation has a positive direct effect on teacher performance, the correlation coefficient value is 0.179 and the path coefficient value is 0.124. This means that the higher the work motivation that a teacher has will improve his performance. (3) The influence of leadership style has a direct positive effect on work motivation with a correlation value of 0.233 and a path coefficient value of 0.233. This means that a principal's leadership style that is positively constructive will have an impact on increasing the motivation of the work of the teachers. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan hubungan antara kepemimpinan dan motivasi guru terhadap kinerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang menjelaskan hubungan atau korelasional kausal yang biasa disebut analisis jalur. Survey dilakukan sejak Februari sampai Mei 2019 dengan melibatkan 124 orang guru SMK Negeri Ambon. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan uji coba instrument sebanyak 60 guru. Teknik pengambilan sampel ditentukan secara acak atau simple random sampling. Temuan dari hasil penelitan sebagai berikut (1) Pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,262 dan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,233. Gaya kepemimpinan yang baik akan memberi pengaruh yang positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru. (2) Motivasi kerja pengaruh langsung positif terhadap kinerja guru, nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,179 dan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,124. Hal ini berarti semakin tingginya motivasi kerja yang dimiliki seorang guru akan meningkatkan kinerja. (3) Pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap motivasi kerja dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,233 dan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,233. Hal ini memberi arti bahwa gaya kepemimpinan seorang kepala sekolah yang positif membangun akan memberi dampak kepada peningkatan motivasi kerja para guru.

This study aimed to elicit data regarding the effect of school administrators' leadership styles, work motivation, and work discipline on teacher pedagogical competency. This study employs a quantitative methodology. The researchers conducted a quantitative study to demonstrate the effect of the principal's leadership style, work motivation, and work discipline on the pedagogical competency of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Badar, Aceh Tenggara Regency. The findings indicate that principal leadership has a considerable effect on teacher performance and that teacher work motivation greatly affects teacher performance. Principal leadership and teacher work motivation have a major impact on teacher performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the influence of transformationalleadership style, individual characteristics, work environment on work motivation and teacherperformance. The study was conducted at State Vocational School Tambelangan 1 , SampangRegency, with 40 teachers as respondents. Data collected with survey methode and questionnaireis as instrument.
